Zoe looked around her dorm. This was going to be her home for the next 9 months. She had to wonder just how much time she would be spending here, though. Between classes, the library, Wade's dorm, going home on the weekends and making time to watch Wade at practice and his games, how much time did that leave her, to just chill out in her dorm? Her roommate had yet to show up. Wade's dorm was located else where. What little she had actually brought with her was already unpacked. It wasn't as if she needed everything from her room. If she did need something it wasn't that far of a drive anyway. Wade was actually at football practice and she was gonna go watch him when a blond walked in.

"I'm Gigi, you are?" The girl asked, placing her things on her bed.

"Zoe, you from New York?" She knew that accent from anywhere. She wasn't sure if she still sounded like a New Yorker or if the accent had worn off long ago.

"Born and raised. Needed a break. You?" Gigi asked, turning to look at Zoe.

"Born and lived most of my life in New York. Bluebell is where I call home now," Zoe replied, happy that she had something in common with her new roommate. She just wasn't going to go into her family problems or her history about why she moved. Moving had actually been the best thing to happen to her. "I'm actually heading out to watch my boyfriend at practice."

"That's cute," Gigi commented. Zoe shrugged it off and headed to the field.

He was holding his own and Zoe felt very proud of her boyfriend. She would have to do something special for him. Even watching him now amazed her. It was like he was having no trouble adjusting from high school football to college ball. She did however roll her eyes seeing the girls that hung all over him the second he walked off the field. She also noticed how he ignored them walking up to her. He really did only have eyes for her.

"I shouldn't worry that they won't find me and kill me, so they can fight over you properly, do I?" She asked with a smile, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I hope not, but to be on the safe side, you better sleep with one eye open at all times," he replied, pressing his lips against hers.

"Kinsella, get your ass back on the field," A fellow teammate yelled.

"Seems the team needs you," Zoe stated pulling away.

"They'll get over it," he smirked, pulling her in for another kiss.

She sat chewing her lip as practice kept moving along. She had gotten scared, watching him take a hard hit. She swore her heart had stopped. He was only down for a few seconds. He seemed to be fine, when he had gotten up. She had a feeling he was going to be sore though.

"How long have you and Mr. football star, been dating?" She looked slightly behind her to see a girl with black hair a few rows behind her, a book in hand.

"A little over a year," Zoe answered, a smile coming out.

"You guys in love?" Zoe nodded, turning her attention back to the field. "Word of warning, be careful." Zoe turned back to look at her, to ask her what she had meant by that, only she was gone. What the hell did she have to be careful about? She trusted Wade, there was no way he would ever cheat on her or break up with her for some sluts. Okay, so there was a chance, but he wouldn't mess up like that.

"What's got you all in thoughts?" Wade asked, taking a spot next to her.

"Some freak, told me to be careful with you. I don't understand what she means. She doesn't know you or us. I have faith in you and I trust you. I believe that you wouldn't ruin a good thing for some shank, not when you have me."

"You don't know how right you are, Zo. I'm gonna shower and we can head off and do something. You pick," he told her, quickly kissing her. She really didn't care what they did. She would be with him and that's all she needed.

"Hurry back," she whispered against his lips. She rolled her eyes seeing the same group of girls that were after Wade, try their luck with the rest of the team. Did they not have anything better to do? Did they not have any self-respect? She shook her head. She had a sudden urge to feel sorry for them.

"I thought about it and we are stopping off somewhere to get a bite to eat. I'm starving. Practice took it out off me."

"Do I get any say in this date?" Zoe asked, getting up from where she sat, slipping her hand in his.

"Maybe the activities that come after the date. My roommate doesn't show up until next week," he smirked.

"You know that how?" Zoe questioned, walking from the field.

"I've got my ways," he winked, causing a light pink dusting to cover her cheeks.

They had decided on getting pizza and headed back to Wade's dorm. Zoe had filled him in on how the first meeting with Gigi had went. Wade wasn't all that impressed, but there wasn't all that much to judge. He'd see as the year progressed.

"I still can't believe you talked me into coming here, like weeks before I have any classes," she commented, stealing a bite of his pizza.

"I need my luck with me," he shrugged. "Plus you love school, no matter how hard you try to deny it. I know so."

"You're a strange one," Zoe giggled.

"That stings, Zo," he pouted.

"Does it now?" She asked, moving to straddle his lap.

"Uh huh," he replied, his fingers digging into her sides.

"I'll make it all better," she whispered, lightly kissing him.

They're pizza grew cold as things heated up between the sheets. Clothes tossed on the floor when they got in the way. They were locked together, their love only making it that much more special.

"You complete me, Zoe," he whispered, kissing her bare shoulder.

"I feel the same about you," she whispered, looking at him.
