-1 month later-
Ellie and Luca Grant are now 6 weeks old and growing every single day. They are the happiest little babies that love just being held by their mama and feeling her close.
Olivia has finally adjusted herself and the babies to their schedule. She is still in the safety of the Vermont home but Abby left about 3 weeks ago. Olivia needs to be able to do this on her own because it seems like that will be her life for a little while. A single mother with twins. She is tired but she is happy. She is in love with being a mother and having her babies. She plans to move back to Washington and adjust to her life in the weeks to come but for now she is enjoying her break from the political game.
Fitz has tried to fly out to Vermont many times in the past month but each time he tries to see his family, he is pulled back by an issue. Olivia understands - she was expecting all of this. They talk on the phone every night and Olivia falls asleep to the sound of his baritone voice in her ear but his arms not around her.

Tonight is different tho. Tonight Fitzgerald Grant is at Camp David with Cyrus Beene working on a bill. Fitz's original plan was to head to Vermont but Cyrus started to become interested in his plans so he had to change his set schedule.
But he is determined. Determined to see the love of his life and his babies.
Fitz pulls on a sweater, walking out his cabin door at 10pm, "We are moving. Heading home. Cyrus cannot know. Lets go." Fitz says to his head agents, walking towards Marine One settled on the property and getting in. The helicopter blades cut the night sky, taking off towards home. Home as in Vermont. Fitz's home is where his Livvie and his babies are.

He arrives in Vermont at midnight, nodding at secret service as he heads inside their home. It's quiet and warm. The fire on in the living room and providing shadows of soft light across the open floor plan. He sighs, weight lifting off his shoulders. He's home. He heads upstairs quietly, seeing a light from the babies nursery. Fitz steps quietly into the door way, leaning against the frame to not be notified. His heart filling with overwhelming love at the scene in front of him.
Olivia sitting in a rocking chair with the babies in her arms, feeding them and whispering softly to them, "All full little angel?" She whispers softly to Luca as she burps him and Ellie feeds peacefully.
Tears fill his eyes at the sight of his family. He's missed a month of seeing them grow and he can't miss anything else - he won't let himself miss it. Their hair has began to grow in with thick dark curls.
"Hi." Fitz whispers out. Olivia looking up quickly at the sound of his voice. Tears fill her eyes as she sees the man she's been aching to see.
"Hi." She whispers, finding her voice and smiling at him, "Daddy is here." Olivia whispers to the babies, Fitz walking to her and gently scooping up Luca.
"Look at you." He whispers to Luca, looking at his son's big blue eyes and his chunky cheeks beginning to fill in.
"I missed you so much." Fitz says softly to his babies and Olivia, tears rolling down his cheeks as he looks at Olivia.
"We missed you so much more." Olivia says gently, handing Ellie to Fitz. Fitz smiling down at his little girl, her eyes ocean blue as well.
"Hello angel." He whispers to Ellie, holding his babies to his chest as he hums to them. Olivia ties up her silk robe, standing up and walking to him. She wraps her arms around him from behind, pressing her cheek to his back as he hums and rocks the babies back to sleep.
"Mmm I love you." She whispers against his back. Fitz kisses the top of the babies head, laying them in the crib together.
"I love you both so much. I'll see you in the morning." He whispers to his sleeping angels, turning and walking out of the nursery with Olivia following behind him.
Fitz pulls off his coat as they walk into the master bedroom, "How did you get here?" She asks, walking to him and kissing him slowly. Fitz cups her face, her fingers finding his curls. They kiss slowly, reacquainting themselves with each others mouths.
"Hmm.. I brought Marine One. I needed to see my family. I can't stay away anymore, Liv. I can't do it." Fitz whispers, rubbing her cheek and kissing her gently. She sighs, "I can't handle you away. I want to be a family. We need to find a way to make this work." She whispers against his neck as she hugs him close.
She steps back, unbuttoning his dress shirt slowly and kissing his warm skinned as it became exposed. She had missed the love of her life.
He gently tips her head up, running his large fingers over her cheek and kissing her gently. He pulls off his shirt and pants as Olivia crawls into bed. Fitz crawls into bed in his boxers, kissing her shoulder as she lays on her side with her back to him. She moves back into him, curling into him as he holds her close.
"I missed you." He whispers against the back of her head as Olivia drifts off to sleep.

The morning sunlight of the Vermont sun awakes Olivia from her deep sleep. She moans happily as she lifts her head, seeing the time on the clock.
9:27am.
She gasps, sitting up quickly in bed and checking the baby monitor. The babies weren't in their cribs and Fitz is not in bed. Fitz had let her sleep through the night and he had taken care of the babies when they woke up. He had personally loved every second of being with his babies and taking care of them.
Olivia gets out of bed, seeing a card sitting on her nightstand with Fitz's writing on it. She picks up, loving his Presidential hand writing.
Livvie,
Take your time this morning. I have our beautiful little angels downstairs.
Love Fitz
Olivia smiles softly at the use of her nickname, putting the card down and heading for the bathroom. She pulls off her nightgown and heads into the large glass shower. She pampers and washes herself, deep conditioning her hair for the first time in 6 weeks. Sighing and getting out. Her body relaxed as she puts oil in her hair and lets her hair dry natural as she moisturizes her face and gets dressed in a pair of jeans and a tan coloured knit sweater.
Olivia makes the bed, smiling when she sees his reading glasses on his nightstand. She missed him. She needed them together as a family. Her heart and entire being ached for him.
She heads downstairs, not seeing or hearing Fitz or the babies. Olivia walks to the kitchen, making herself tea and walking to the wall that spans with ceiling to floor windows and a sliding door to their huge back yard that turns into orchards and stables.
She sees him with both babies strapped to him. Ellie in the carrier on his chest and Luca in the carrier on his chest. She smiled at the scene, Fitz walking closer to the home as she could see him speaking now. Telling his babies stories upon stories and all about the fun they will have in their home as they grow up.
Fitz sees Olivia standing at the back door, sipping her tea from a mug and a small smile on her face. His heart flutters at the sight of her - after all these years she still makes him feel like a teenage boy overwhelmed with love and nervous.
She is beautiful.
"And there's mommy watching us." Fitz says as he kisses Ellie's chubby hand and walking up the steps to the deck as Olivia opens the back door.
"Hi. Did you have a nice walk?" She asks, smiling at him.
"We did. I think Luca wants a horse." Fitz says, laughing as she kisses him gently. Careful not to press against Ellie on his chest.
"You think so?" She asks, kissing his jaw and undoing the carrier on his back. Pulling Luca out, "Did you have fun with daddy?" Olivia asks her little boy, kissing his cheeks. Luca's face breaks into a big, toothless smile.
His first smile.
"Fitz. Fitz. He just smiled for the first time." Olivia says, her heart overwhelmed at Luca's first smile.
"He did?" Fitz asks, now holding Ellie in his arms as he looks at Luca.
"He did! Luca, show daddy your big smile!" Olivia says, ticking Luca's tummy and another smile spreading across his face.
Fitz chuckles, "Look at you. My big boy." He says, kissing Luca's cheeks and smiling. He was there for his son's first smile. He cannot miss anything.
The family settles down on the couch with each other, the babies on a blanket in front of them doing tummy time with their toys.
A knock on the front door pulls Fitz out of his focus on his two babies, "Must be secret service." Fitz says, scooping up Ellie. He had not informed Olivia that he had left Cyrus in Camp David. Escaping like a teenage boy.
Olivia sighs, "Probably telling you that you have to leave." Olivia murmurs sadly as she settles down on the floor with Luca.
Fitz answers the front door, "Listen-
He stops his words when he sees Cyrus Beene at his front door with red, anger on his face and now a look he can't even describe when he sees the baby in his arm.
"What is this?" Cyrus spits out.
