Chapter 21 – Tsubomi's Spring Holiday

"Fine," sighed Doremi while she finally agreed that Dodo would stay with her family, "From now on, you can stay here with me, but remember, you stay here to protect my family, so don't fool around here, okay?"

"Sure, I won't ever fool around here," replied Dodo, "It's not the time for me, an adult fairy, to fool around like that."

"Alright, I trust you," said the redhead who then took a sip of her milk tea and continued her work, while Hana, Dodo and Toto accompanied her and sometimes, asked her about her daily life.

A half hour later, their small meeting is over. After cleaned up the cups, Doremi walked back into her room with her laptop in her hands, while Dodo decided to walk into Tsubomi's room with Hana and Toto. All of them then slept until the morning came.

In the morning, Hana introduced Dodo and Toto to Tsubomi while she woke up.

"Hey, so you're my mom's fairy!" said Tsubomi cheerfully, "Hajimemashite, Dodo!"

"Hajimemashite, Tsubomi," Dodo smiled, replied what the violet haired girl said, "Nice to meet you."

"Me too. It's so amazing that I can meet you here, in my room," Tsubomi smiled back, "Well, I've ever saw some pictures of you which mom saved in her room, but… you seemed so different in those pictures…"

"You must be saw my old pictures, right Tsubomi? The ones that we took when your mother was in your age?" said Dodo, "In that time, I was still a young fairy, and that's why, my appearance in those pictures was so different with my appearance now."

"Oh yeah, Dodo, you're grown up," sighed Tsubomi, "Anyways, what's the thing that makes you come here right now?"

"Well, you know…" Dodo gazed at Hana before she answered, "Your big sister was afraid if there was something that would make her couldn't meet your mother anymore once she became the Queen of the witch world, so the present Queen sends me here to protect your family from the thing that makes Hana afraid."

"Uh, I don't know if this has to do with Hana-nee's anxiety, but… when Oyajide came here some months ago, okasan have ever felt the same feeling," confessed Tsubomi, who then smiled, "but I'm sure, Hana-nee, you still can meet okasan even after you become the Queen of the witch world. You don't need to worry about it."

"Okay, I know that maybe I'm just too afraid to think about it," Hana sighed, "She's my mother, after all."

"I see it," replied Tsubomi, "I think I would feel the same if someday I lived apart from my mother for a long time."

"I don't think so, Tsubomi-chan," Hana shook of her head, "Well, Witches can live in hundreds years, while humans can't, and also, there are so many factors outside there which can be the obstacle for me to meet her again."

"Hana-nee…" said Tsubomi, softly. She thought for a few minutes before she smiled and added, "Well then, I think it's better for us to take our breakfast right now, in the dining room. Okasan, otousan and Murasaki-nii should be waiting for us there right now."

"Oh, alright. I think I still have time for that ones," replied Hana after she tried to chase her anxiety away from her, "Let's we go to the dining room."

They then walked downstairs, into the dining room, and found out that Tsubomi was right to say that Doremi, Kotake and Murasaki were waiting for them there.

When they took their breakfast together, Dodo explained to Kotake and Murasaki about Jou-sama's command for her and the other fairies to live in human world with their owner's family. She also explained to them that maybe, she would disguise to be a cat most often.

"Great! Honestly, I always hope that I can have a cat someday," Tsubomi admitted, "You know, Dodo, I love cats so much."

"But don't forget, Tsubomi. Even though I disguise into a cat, you don't need to feed me with the cat foods," replied Dodo, "You should remember that I'm not a real cat."

"Sure, I'll always remember about that ones, Dodo," Tsubomi giggled, "Even I'll share my snacks with you if you want."

"Really? Thank you very much, Tsubomi!" Dodo smiled, "You're really much better than your mother."

"Excuse me, Dodo. What's with that words?" replied Doremi, "I think you should remember about how many times you ate my foods, okay?"

"Alright alright, I remember about it very well."

"Well then, it's time for me to go now," said Kotake while he saw his watch, "My training will start soon, so I should go now, or else, I'll be late there."

"Then, you'll leave our house for a while again…" sighed Tsubomi, "Otousan, can you just stay here and spend so many times with us? In this spring holiday?"

"I'm sorry, Tsubomi, but I should go," replied her father, "I've already got so many permissions from my team to spend my time with you all, and this time, they don't give it to me. Moreover, it's your first spring holiday without me, right?"

"Even so, usually you asked us to spend our time together… Riding bicycle, getting some soccer training… I still want to do it with you."

"I wanted to, but I can't. I'm really sorry, Tsubomi," Kotake stroked his daughter's violet hair, "Well, at least… you still can spend your spring holiday with your mother and your brother. Even, you can spend your spring holiday with Dodo this time."

Finally, Tsubomi nodded. She didn't have choice but to admit that she couldn't spend her limited spring holiday with her father this year, different with her previous spring holiday that she always spent with him.

"Not to mention that you also can spend it with Tonomi this year," whispered the blue haired father which then made Tsubomi's eyes widened, "Just have a date with him if you want."

"O… Otousan…" Tsubomi's cheek blushed. She couldn't say anything to continue her words.

"Tetsuya, what are you whispering to Tsubomi-chan?" asked Doremi. She raised her eyebrows.

"I just remind her that she have so many people to spend her spring holiday with. Is it wrong?" replied Kotake who then whispered, "Don't you remember about Tonomi?"

"Ah, I see," Doremi smiled, "However, good luck, Tetsuya. Just send my regards to Kimura-kun and the others, okay?"

"Well, honestly, I just worry about you. You know, recently you just…"

"Hey, don't worry about me, Tetsuya," cut Doremi, as if she tried to prevent Kotake to continue his words, "With Murasaki-kun, Tsubomi-chan and Dodo beside me, I'll be alright."

"Oh, okay," finally Kotake smiled back, "Well then, everyone, I'll go now. Bye!"

"Bye!" greeted the others back.
