Author's Note: I would like to point out that this story now had the most chapters in anything I've ever written, so I'm quite happy about that at the moment. I'm in a bit of a Disney mood while writing today and so this spawned from that. Sorry, not sorry. Inspired by a whole new world (Aladdin), and once upon a December (Anastasia). Anyway, if you have any prompt please feel free to leave them in a review or pm and I'll write them up for you to the best of my ability. Enjoy!
Sesshomaru and Rin had been travelling together for months now and Sesshomaru couldn't believe if had stupidly hated her entire kind before this. This tiny girl lit up his life like no one had ever before, gave him grater purpose then just wandering for his next kill. He looked forward to seeing her tiny face lit up into a grand smile each and every day. The way she grip her tiny arms around him in a hug when he brought her back a flower from his scouting. It was easy to say that his soul had melted and he felt a warm happiness for the first time in his life.
Rin liked doing strange and surprise things, like dancing to the sounds of the music that travelers make and petting every animal they past with no qualms of what they looked like. She twirl circles around him as he stood still wand watched, waited for her to finish so he could pat her on the head for the great performance. He could imagine that as she grew up her dancing would only get more beautiful, graceful and perfect. She would dance circles around overs figuratively and literally at the same time, amazing the people in the towns they traveled through. She would be an elusive beauty for all to look at and admire. A goddess among humans, too good for any of them and still so kind that she never looked down upon them.
For now though, he was happy enough to watch and be the only one to admire. That would change when she got older, so he'd savor it now. And she only seemed to flourish in the attention even more than before, it was questionable what had happened in her old life before they had met up, but whatever had led her to him, unafraid and ready to travel great distances, he was glad it had happened. He could thank the gods every day for the rest of their lives and it wouldn't be enough for how grateful he was.
She lit up his life, made it all fun and light hearted. A song, a dance, and a family.
