"Want some?" Magnus smiled, holding out a bottle of wine to Alec with a smile on his face. Alec took it, thanking him before pouring some into the glass in his hand and settling it into the dirt. Magnus had said that he was going to get ridiculously drunk, but in reality Alec was finding this to be an extremely romantic evening. Magnus picked his boyfriend's glass up out of the dirt next to him and handed it to Alec, brushing it off in the process. Alec took it.

"To us?" Magnus put his glass out in front of him and smiled, taking Alec's free hand in his and stroking the skin gently with his thumb. Alec leaned in and kissed him on the cheek before pulling back and clinking glasses with him.

"Yeah," he agreed. "To us."

"Guys," Clary said, interrupting the moment. "Do you know when the fireworks start? If it isn't for a while, Jace and I are going to go over and get some snacks from inside the building. I hear they have honey mustard chicken…" Magnus looked down at the Rolex around his wrist and then nodded to Clary.

"If you want chicken, go get chicken. I think that you have time, but I'd hurry just in case."

Taking Jace's hand, Clary walked inside with a bounce and a smile as she squeezed her lover's hand.

"Hey guys, we'll be right back, too," Simon said, standing up with Isabelle following. "We're about to go check out the bank down there by the lake. Isabelle says that there are really cool rocks down there. Do you want to come with?" Alec looked at Magnus and shrugged, and Magnus looked back.

"Isabelle is a little drunk, but you know, all the better," Magnus said to Alec, taking his arm and pulling him up. The four of them walked off together.

Jem and Tessa sat alone on the grass, smiling in between sips of wine. Jem was beginning to get drunk, Tessa noted with a smile. It was still new to her, a Jem who lived in the modern world, a Jem that she was able to spend a long and healthy lifetime with- a Jem who was not dying and was well enough to do things like this. Tessa felt a blush form on her face as she brought her wine glass up to her face to cover her red cheeks. She loved Jem so much.

"Sometimes I wonder how he is," Jem said, resting his cheek on Tessa's shoulder. Tessa sighed, not a sigh of exasperation or despair but rather one of love, not only for Jem but for the other person that they still loved so, so much.

"I wonder all the time," she responded honestly. "You said… at Clary's parents' wedding… that he was happy to see us together, that it brought him joy. I wonder what he's-" Tessa was cut off by an alarm on her cell phone. Jem jumped about ten feet in the air, not knowing quite what was going on. Cursing under her breath and mumbling something about setting an alarm, she reached into her bag and pulled out the phone that was ever-increasing in noise. It was not an alarm. It was a call, a call from an unknown number. Tessa silenced it.

"Anyway," she continued, "I was wondering-" Again, relentlessly, her phone began to ring, but in a different tone this time. She didn't recognize this one- it sounded vaguely rappy and somewhat new. "I am going to turn this device off," she informed Jem, but he put a hand on her arm.

"No," he said in a ghostlike way. "I know this song. It's… Will made this song after we killed the Lightworm. Though tis pity, tis not in vain, that the pox ridden worm was slain-"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Tessa, just answer it."

Shrugging, she did. Silence greeted her and then, "The number that has dialed you is out of reach. Please hang up and wait for them to try again."

"It's Will. Good God, Jem. Will has been playing a prank on us. It's him…"

Jem chuckled. "Sounds right."

"William!" Tessa called. "If you can hear me, you scared us! God, Will, why?" Tessa fell into a heap of laughter and Jem soon followed.

Somewhere close by, a ghost chuckled.

Their last night in Vegas went by very quickly, and before they knew it they were driving home again. Jem and Tessa drove on their own, they said their goodbyes outside after the stunning fireworks display and promised to visit from LA to Brooklyn. In the larger car, Simon drove, this time- Magnus was too drunk to be coordinated- and they drove in silence. Isabelle sat shotgun. Alec slept with his arm wrapped around Magnus's in the back and Magnus used the hand that was not clasping Alec's to stroke his lover's hair as he looked peaceful. Clary and Jace talked in whispers.

"I meant it, you know," Clary said.

"Meant what?"

"You know."

"No… I don't."

"Jace," she recited from memory. "You are my one true love and I will hold on to you for the rest of my life. I will hold your hand through everything. Every cell in my body, new and old, every fiber of my being loves you eternally. You are my morning star, but you have not fallen. Instead, in my mind, you have always been elevated beyond anything. I vow to be eternally yours. I take you with grace and with glory," whispered. "Jace Herondale, I love you, to hell and back, I am yours."

Jace smiled, looking into her green eyes. "Two can play at this."

Clary smiled. "I didn't hear you say them out loud before either. Go on."

Jace was all too happy to oblige.

"Clary. I was certainly not lying when I said it before, and I am more than certainly not lying as I say it now: I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I'll love you then. I have adored you since the moment that you slapped me for putting that rune on you. I am sure, I am one hundred percent sure now, not only that you are a Shadowhunter, because of course you are, but that you are an angel, my angel, and I will never let you go. I am more than honored, Clary, to be taking you as my wife. I love you Clary. Forever."

Three happy couples, once, went to Vegas. It was an adventure. And now, they begin many new adventures still to come, because the real adventure is the time that they spend together.

Wow, guys, so this was a hard story for me to let go. I thank you all for sticking with me until the end of it- if you have any comments or suggestions for me, please drop it in the reviews. I would really like to know what you all think of this story- it has been a fun journey for me to write, and it is also the longest thing I've written. This is really hard for me to say goodbye to, haha...

Anyway, I think that my next major project is likely going to be Malec travels, but we'll see. I am going to now start working on a countdown of Sizzy oneshots to TFSA, so that will carry over until then. I really hope that you have enjoyed this story, I know that I enjoyed putting it out for you to read. Thank you again.

Yours, H
