The music died down and STARISH left the stage, heading back to the backstage. The Nanami siblings sat in the crowd with wide eyes and fast beating hearts. The concert had finally come to a close and sometime in the middle of the performance a green light had engulfed the stadium. At first the Nanami siblings became defensive the on nerve, shocked by the sudden and mysterious change in lighting. But as the songs went on, the Nanami siblings felt something strange come over them and felt the light flow deep into their hearts. At first it baffled them, but as time went on, they felt a strange happiness come over them and they became entranced by it.
They barely heard the song at some points, just the competitions standing out to them. And what lovely songs they were. They couldn't help but feel pride in their little sister for writing such beautiful music. Even Kimiko found herself wanting to hear more and more.
But the concert ended after about an hour of music and singing. As the boys left the stage, the Nanamis still found themselves trapped in a trance by the music. They sat still for a while as the crowd dissipated around them. When the stadium was nearly empty Fusao finally rose to his feet, ushering her his little sisters to stand as well. Kimiko was still in a trance, looking forward blankly. Akina had a small smile on her lips, holding her hands to her heart. The woman by them also rose up, a small smile on her face as she followed behind them. But, as they reached the exits, they were stopped by a familiar voice calling out to them.
"Heeeeyyyy~ Kimi-chan, Fus-Fus, Aki-chan~!" The Nanamis stopped and turned around, seeing a brunet waving wildly towards them with a big, goofy smile on his face.
"Reiji-chan?" Kimiko whispered, blinking in surprise.
"Ai-kun, good afternoon." Akina said, bowing to them.
"Camus? Kurosaki?" Fusao said, also looking a bit surprised.
"Yahoo~ Good to see you three!" Reiji said, smiling at them. The idol quartet stopped in front of the Nanamis, greeting them as well. "Hey, surprised to see you here. Any reason why?" Reiji asked, curiosity sparkling in his eyes as he bent towards them.
"We didn't have anything else to do, so why not?" Fusao responded, turning away and sticking his hands into his pockets.
"Well, since you're here, how about a backstage tour!?" Reiji said, grabbing Fusao's shirt and pulling him along. Fusao hissed at him, telling the brunette to let go, but Reiji ignored him and kept pulling. Ai held his hand to Akina and she took it politely. Kimiko followed on her own and the older woman followed suit.
"Mina-san!" Haruka smiled, seeing the STARISH boys coming towards her, all tired and sweating but smiling widely. They turned to her and picked up their pace when they saw her, moving to greet her happily. "You did wonderful!" Haruka cried, feeling pride welled up in her. The boys thanked her, all in their unique ways. She handed them some towels and they took them gratefully, thanking her and wiping down their faces of sweat.
Onmyo walked over with a bag of water, handing one water bottle to each of them. Onmyo complimented them as well on their performance, smiling kindly at them. The boys thanked him as well.
"But," Onmyo said, rubbing his head. "I am getting a small headache." He said, causing the boys to flinch back. But Haruka, expecting his headache, took out some Tylenol and one of the water bottles, giving them to him. He took them gratefully and the boys sighed in relief.
"Ohayo, kÅhais~!" They turned around when they heard a familiar voice calling out to them and were greeted by the smiling face of Reiji, who waved to them from the edge of the stage, half hidden by the wall. "I have a surprise for you~" He called out. They blinked in surprise and turned their bodies to see what the surprise was.
Reiji moved out from behind the wall and along with him, dragged a boy with black hair and red eyes. He had on a black sweatshirt and jet blue sweatpants, bundled up from the cold. They froze when he looked at them with a blank face, Haruka balling her hands into fists as she looked back at him, keeping her face clear of emotion. He stood up straight, looking her directly in the eyes. Behind him, Kimiko and Akina stood quietly, Kimiko also staring blankly at Haruka while Akina had a small smile on her face. Haruka walked over to Fusao and she could feel the tension rise in the air. She stopped in front of them and they held eye contact, both with the same blank look on their face.
"So." Haruka said, nothing else coming out of her mouth.
"So." Fusao responded in a similar manner.
"Well?" Haruka asked, folding her arms. "What do you want?"
"We saw the concert."
"Thats nice." Haruka said, a little sharp.
"You know what?!" Fusao said, glaring down at his little sister. The boys all tensed and took steps forward in a protective manner, Reiji got ready to grab him if he did anything. But Haruka held her ground, giving them a small gester telling them to stop. "I'm sorry, alright!" Fusao yelled, Haruka's eyes widening in surprise. She expected him to tell her he was sick of her attitude, or at least something insulting to her and to pick a fight. Fusao lowered his tone, speaking more calmly. "You were right. We have no right to tell you what you can and can't do. In fact, with what you have here, you'll live a better life than us. We were wrong, and your song... they're really good." Fusao said, turning his face away from Haruka, a blush on his face and his hands shoved into his pockets.
Kimiko silently nodded behind him, agreeing as well and whispering a soft 'I'm sorry' to Haruka. Haruka stared at her siblings, her eyes locking on Akina. Akina gave her a wide smile, as if mirroring the Haruka Nanami everyone loved.
Then, Haruka cried. She reached forward and wrapped her arms around Fusao, crying into his sweater half in joy and half in guilt. She felt terribly for not making up with him before, but he forgave her, wrapping his arms around her and rocking her slightly, caring for his little sister. Kimiko began to cry as well, the heels of her shoes clicking as she ran towards them and joined the hug as well. Akina moved over to them, giving Haruka a hug, nearly brought to tears by the moment.
The boys watched them, half relieved that they made up and half upset because Haruka was crying now and they couldn't comfort her. It was the sibling's moment, not something for them to interrupt.
"How very touching~" Hummed a sweet voice, causing Haruka to lift her head. She spotted a familiar pink haired woman with red eyes, smiling sweetly at her, nearly in tears as well.
"Mom?" Haruka questioned, causing to the boys to jump.
"Thats your mom?!"
How very touching, they forgave each other! But it's not over yet- we still have two new characters to explore, but it will be over in a few more chapters. Which means in about 30 to 40 days before it's all over FOREVER! But, whatever, I got more stories to write and I'm sure your all excited about reading the ending and finding out what happened when the Nanami siblings were kids, which will be coming up in later chapters- either the next chapter or the one after that, but I won't delay it any farther than that.
