Sorry this is really short guys. I had a paper that was due yesterday, and that kinda cut into my fanfiction writing time. So, if this chapter isn't all that great, that's why. I'm literally uploading this right after I finished writing it. Anywho, I don't own Fire Emblem or any of its characters. Enjoy!

Amara and I woke up early today, for something very special was today. We quickly got dressed, and moved down the hall quietly past our sleeping daughter's room. It wouldn't do for us to accidentally wake her up early on this special day. We made our way down to the ballroom, and when we opened the doors, we were unsurprised to see that Frederick was here in charge of making sure that everything was perfect.
Frederick turned when he heard the doors open, and offered us a quick bow as we walked over. "Milord, Milady," he greeted.
I nodded in the general direction of everything that was being put together and asked, "How's everything coming along?"
"Well, Milord," he started. "The decorations are almost finished being set up. With all that's left being a few more streamers, and some more flowers being cut and placed in vases for the tables."
Amara nodded at my side as she said, "Thank you, Frederick. You don't know how much this means to us."
Frederick smiled and with a slight bow replied, "Actually Milady, I do have a slight idea of how much this means. After all, I have two children of my own now. And for you Amara, this'll be the first time that you can be with the Princess on this day."
She nodded happily as she looked down at her extended stomach and with a hand resting on it, she said, "It's hard to believe that it's been 7 years since then…"
I wrapped my arm around Amara's waist with a smile and gave her a half hug as I said, "Believe it, my love. For it's true." I planted a kiss on Amara's cheek and then turned back to Frederick and said to him, "Well, we'd better go check on a few other things before we go wake Lucina up. I trust you to finish things up in here, Frederick."
Frederick bowed once more as he replied, "Of course, Milord. It shall be done."
Amara and I turned around, and left the room so that we could go check on the other things that needed to be done before we woke up our adorable daughter. We went to the kitchens, and found that the food was well underway in its being cooked, and the cake would finished being decorated in a few hours. Excellent, everything was almost good here. And when we went to go check on how the comings of our invited guests, the ones that lived in town would be coming up in about an hour, and the ones who had to travel from farther away had sent carrier pigeons early that all said that they'd be arriving in the next three to five hours. Excellent. Everything was going perfectly. All that was left, was to wake up our little princess.
Amara made our way to her room, and once we were outside the door, Amara and I looked at each other smiling, and then went inside. We walked over to Lucina's bed, and the two of us on opposite sides of her bed, leaned over and kissed her cheeks. Lucina slowly opened up her eyes, and after rubbing her eyes, smiled at us. "Morning Mommy. Morning Daddy."
Amara gave Lucina a soft smile as she said, "Good morning, my sweet. Happy Birthday."
Lucina giggled happily and replied happily, "Thanks Mommy! I'm excited, because I get to spend my birthday with you for once!"
I looked at Amara's face, and saw that she was about to cry, so I leaned closer to Lucina and tickled her sides, and as she was laughing, I said, "Well Birthday Girl, let's get you in a pretty party dress so that way you can be ready for whenever your friends get here to celebrate with you."
Lucina managed to crawl out of my tickle range as she caught her breath and cheered, "Okay!"
After getting Lucina dressed, her guests started arriving at the castle at last, so we decided to go ahead and start her party in the ballroom while our old friends from the Shepherd's and their children were arriving. After all of the guests arrived for Lucina's birthday party, the party went into full gear.
All of the children who were able to walk were running all over the place playing with each other and Lucina, and most of us adults were gathered around talking about all the new babies that had been born in the past few months since we had last seen them. Such as Nowi and Ricken's seven-month-old son Yu. I swear, those two will never learn about not giving their children confusing names. The biggest topic that everyone was talking about though, was Amara's pregnancy which was almost over. Everyone would be staying in Ylisstol for the next two weeks for when Amara finally gave birth. It made nearly everyone laugh when Amara complained about how tired she was of being pregnant, including myself, which earned me a slap on the shoulder. It was really hard not accidentally spilling the beans about Morgan actually being twins, but we somehow managed to keep that lid sealed tight.
When it came time for Lucina to open her presents, she loved all that she got. A few dresses, some new dolls, and a few other things here and there. She seemed rather pleased with her hand stitched gift from Gerome-of which Cherche had assisted him with-that was a stuffed wyvern doll. After presents was cake, and shortly after that, all of the children were falling asleep in their chairs, of which was when the party fully ended, and everyone headed back to the rooms that we had made ready for them.
Amara and I included, took a sleepy Lucina back to her room, and after tucking her in and saying goodnight to her, headed back to our own room. We got changed into our sleepwear, and Amara cuddled up close to me once we were in our bed, and sighed.
"Something the matter love?" I asked her.
She shook her head and answered peacefully, "None at all. I'm just happy that we were able to make our daughter's birthday a success."
I leaned over and kissed Amara's forehead as I whispered into her bangs, "I'm happy too." I glanced down at her, and saw that Amara had already fallen asleep on my chest. I smiled as I closed my eyes and whispered, "Good night, Amara. I'm so glad that we were finally able to spend Lucina's birthday with all of us together."
Happy Birthday Lucina! And way to this being another year since the start of the Fire Emblem series. (Not that I've been into the series as long as most people. A little over 2 years now I'd say, when I got Awakening as a Christmas present from my older brother during my senior year of high school. (Thanks Bro!) But with Fates, I can happily say that I am a fan of the series. Now I just gotta get my gamer hands on some of the older games in the series and play those. Anywho guys, I'll see you again in about 2 weeks when it's Morgan's birthday. Until then, be good!
