The six of us sat in silence as we ate the pizza. We put our money together and ordered 2 pies. Lucy spent the whole time texting someone, most likely Annalise, on her phone while Connor muttered stuff under his breath and X glared at me.

"What's wrong my dear Connor?" Ara asked.

"Speed said he was inviting Bunny, not you!" Connor yelled angrily, "the last two people I'd ever want to see….." My cheeks reddened as I took a bite of pizza.

Speed quickly defended me, "hey, do not-"

"Where is Chim Chim?" Ara cut him off, "still got that virus?"

"IT WAS YOU!" Connor yelled jumping up, "I knew you did it."

Ara laughed, "well from what I heard you left his programming open and easy to invade."

"So you did it!" Connor exclaimed, "my poor Chim Chim! What has she done to you!".

Ara laughed, "I am not a programmer idiot."

"Why don't you two lower your voices" Speed said.

X retorted with, "why did you have to bring them here?"

"Why not?" Ara asked.

I added, "if you want we could just le-"

"Please do so, there are other empty tables" X said.

"NO" Speed yelled, "why can't you guys get along for a few minutes. Stop being jerks. We were once friends."

"I don't get why you trust them at all..." Lucy said finally looking up from her phone. Welcome to the real world.

X added, "stop defending her!"

"I did not do anything" I muttered.

"Riight" Connor retorted.

"Let's just eat pizza!" Speed gestured to the pizza lying in front of us.

"I lost my appetite" X said, "being by the enemy does that."

Before I could stop myself I jumped up from my chair surprising everyone, "why would I work for the Shadow organization and try to destroy the Mach 6? It doesn't make sense. They want to steal it, not destroy it. Think about it!" The five of them stared at me in surprised and out of annoyance (and slight embarrassment of my own outburst) I ran out of the pizzeria. I heard the others yell my name but I ignored them. I just kept running until I could not run anymore. I was completely lost in my own thoughts as my legs led the way. I could have ran off a cliff without even realizing it. Once I came to I looked around and realized then that I was completely lost.

How did I manage that? The school is close to the pizzeria, did I make a wrong turn?

I muttered, "I am an idiot" as I took out my phone. No service. Brilliant. Why did I do that? I guess I should try to head back. I took my step back toward the way I came from and my knees buckled and I fell to my knees. I ran too far I guess. I stood up and walked to the curb and sat down. There were no houses or anything around. Why is this place in the middle of a freakin' desert?

I took deep breaths trying to calm me down. Thinking about it, I have horrible endurance so I could not have gotten that far. I stood up and began walking back from where I came from.

This is not good, not good at all.

I was walking an hour and saw nothing at all.

Why did I watch the Hills have Eyes last night?

This is not fun.

I looked down at my phone and still no service or messages. How did I run this far? Is that even possible?

***Third Person POV***

"Where are you going?" Ara asked Speed as he began to run out of the pizzeria after Bunny.

"To get Bunny obviously" Speed said annoyed looking at his brother and friends, "since none of you really care."

Ara sighed, "leave her be. Either she will go to the school or come back. I doubt she would want someone to chase after her."

"Don't give her the satisfaction" X muttered stuffing his face with pizza as the other two seemed to still be surprised about the whole thing since they were silent.

"She is a big girl" Ara added, "let her be. Eat some pizza." After a few seconds Speed listened and sat back down anxiously.

***Bunny's POV***

"Did I fall through a rabbit hole of something? I haven't seen any ca-" I began and was quickly proven wrong as a car headed my way. I quickly waved my arms trying to get the persons attention until I recognized the car. It was Headmaster Spritle. I sighed as he slowed down beside me with a shocked expression on his face. My cheeks reddened as he got out the car and expression changed to concern.

"Why are you here?" he asked, "where is your car? Was it taken again?"

I quickly shook my head no, "no I am lost."

"How are you lost?" he asked and my cheeks reddened even more. Oh god, he probably thinks I am an idiot, and why did he allow such a stupid girl into the school.

"Well.. umm" I began as my cheeks reddened, "I was eating pizza with Speed, X, Lucy, Connor and Ara and since you know… X, Lucy and Connor are angry at me there was sort of an argument. I ended up running out of the pizzeria and I ran further than I thought and got lost."

Spritle laughed, "well you did not run that far" Spritle responded looking around, "just a couple of miles away."

I smiled, "thanks… which way is the school? I can wa-" I began but the headmaster cut me off.

"I will drive you back and then have a serious talk with my nephew" he said opening his passenger side door.

My eyes widened, "you do not have to! You can just point me the wa-"

"I cannot let a young woman wander around alone in the desert," he cut me off, "especially one of my students." I nodded my head embarrassingly as I got in the car and he went into the drivers seat. "If it is okay with you I need to stop at my place so I can pick up some paperwork first" Spritle stated, "I was heading that way first."

"Okay" I responded quickly. I could not really say no to Spritle since he was giving me a free ride. The two of us sat in silence for a few minutes until we reached his place.

"If you want you can come in" Spritle stated as he unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the car door.

"It is okay" I said with a small smile.

Spritle smiled, "would at least like something to drink?"

"No it is okay" I blushed.

"Okay" he said, "I will be quick." Spritle left the car and walked into the house. I could see from the windows that he was searching for through the house for the papers. I sighed as I looked at my phone. I did not realize it had died. When I looked up I saw Spritle look out the window to check on me and then go back to searching. After a few minutes Spritle ran out the house and up the passenger side door, "it is sort of taking longer than I expected to find these papers. Are you sure you do not want to go inside or something to drink?"

"Umm" I began gazing at him nervously, "sure?" He opened the door for me and I followed him in the house. I felt nervous as I walked into the house, it is not like I haven't been there before.

Why am I so nervous though? Maybe because it is still the head master's house.

"You can take anything from the fridge" Spritle said before going into one of the backrooms. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. It was mostly water and other healthy drinks. I quickly took a water bottle, closed the fridge and walked into the living room to see him still in the backroom. I sat on the couch, opened the bottle, and took a sip. I did not realize how thirsty I actually was until then. I quickly drank half the bottle before Spritle popped his head out of the room.

"Sorry for the delay" Spritle said. He was fixing the papers as he walked toward me, "I am finished now." I stood up and followed him back to the car and we drove back to Racer Academy.
