Heyy, not much to say. Just hope you guys like.
"Date"
Sam stormed down the hallway. She was in a really bad mood. Her two best friends, Tucker and Danny could see that as soon as she turned the corner. She walked up to them, leaned up against the lockers, and huffed.
Danny chuckled slightly, knowing that Sam was about to go on a tirade. He also knew that she wouldn't just tell you what was wrong. You had ask her about it; work it out of her.
"You okay, Sam?" Tucker asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she growled in response.
"What's a matter?" Danny questioned.
"Ugh!" she yelled. "My parents!"
"What'd they do this time?" Tuck asked.
"They're forcing me to go to this stupid dance dinner thing!"
"Ooh," the boys flinched.
They both knew Sam contempted any event her parents took her to.
"And it gets worse," she said.
"How much worse?" Danny sympathized.
"They don't think I can get my own date, so they're setting me up with some spoiled rich guy!"
Danny and Tucker both raised their eyebrows in an 'excuse me' look.
"They did what?" Danny asked, clenching his teeth, eyes turning green.
"They're setting me up with this annoying guy, Elliot."
"They can't do that." Tucker chimed in. "It's a total invasion of your personal life."
"They are not setting you up with some guy you don't even know! Why would they even do that? Do they trust a complete stranger with their only daughter?" Danny ranted.
"Exactly!" Sam agreed.
"Well, what are we gonna' do about it?" Tucker asked.
"Do you have to have a date for this thing?" Danny asked Sam.
"No, but everyone else going has a date. My parents, being my parents, didn't want me to be the only one without a date. That'd draw too much 'negative attention' to our family, somehow."
"So, all you have to do is find a date you want to go with."
"Well, just about every guy here is repulsive, so it's down to you two. Either of you busy tonight?"
"Uh, I have to go shopping with my mom tonight, sorry," Tucker answered, almost too quickly.
"It's okay, Tuck." She turned slightly. "Danny?"
"I'm pretty sure I'm free."
"Would you mind going with me?"
"Not at all," he smiled.
"Cool."
"Cool."
*At the Dance/Event thing*
The room was full of fancy, rich people. Everyone was up and talking to everyone else, except for Danny and Sam. They didn't know anyone there except Paulina and Dash. They were trying to avoid them at all costs. They just sat at a table and talked.
"Sorry for wasting your entire night," Sam lightly laughed.
"It's fine. It's not like I was really busy," he smiled back.
"I wish I wasn't forced to be at this stupid thing. My parents just need to accept that I'm not the pretty princess daughter they wanted."
"They will, it'll just take time."
"It's been fourteen years, how much more time do they need?"
"I don't know," he laughed.
They sat there talking for a little longer, until 'Your Guardian Angel' by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus came on.
"Would you like to dance?" Danny asked, smiling at Sam.
"Yes," she smiled in return.
He stood up, holding out his hand. She took his hand, blushing slightly. He led her to the floor. He gently put his hands on her waist as the placed hers on his shoulders. She looked up at him and smiled.
"Thanks for coming with me."
"You're welcome."
A few seconds passed by, them just dancing and smiling.
"I know I forgot to mention this, but you look really pretty," Danny complimented.
Sam was wearing an amethyst dress that matched her eyes with a black lace belt around her waist and black lace lining on the top of the bodice and the bottom the skirt. She was wearing flat black dress shoes. She was wearing her normal purple lipstick with a light black eyeshadow, and her hair was straitened and all down.
"Thanks," she blushed.
"No problem," he smirked.
Good? Bad? I had severe writers block writing this. Hope you liked anyway!
