Tucker was immediately pinned by Sam, struggling to get free. It took all his strength to keep her fangs from his neck, and he couldn't summon his sword without cutting her head off. His arms already burned with exertion. Apparently, vampire strength beat superhuman strength.

Tucker managed to push her away, inch by inch, until he had enough distance to wedge a knee between the two of them. He then used every last thought of strength in his left arm to hold her off just long enough for him to punch her in the side of the head.

Unfortunately...

It had no effect.

Sam reared back, her fangs glistening with saliva, as the shot her teeth forward, ready to rip Tucker's throat out... only for Tucker's heart to race more than five times the heart rate required to cause one's heart to explode. But Tucker's body could take it, as a wispy blue aura began to radiate from our favorite Mutant Hunter.

Tucker felt his strength return, and triple. He lifted Sam off of the ground and threw her through his bedroom door, smashing it to splinters. Tucker jackknifed to his feet, sprinting out of his bedroom and sending her flying into the walls. The Vampiric Girl was quick to jump to her feet, only for Tucker to slam her into the ceiling, before catching her and throwing her into his parent's room.

His parents were immediately awoken. But as Sam turned, Tucker dashed into the room and slammed his fist into her face, punching her in a way that turned her face away. He didn't want his parents to be scared of her, or they would never let her come over for Danny. Better for them to hate the mystery boy in the mask.

Tucker took the fight out of the room, and into the hallway via kicking and pushing Sam out of the door. He summoned his katana, and used the flat of the blade to deflect her punches.

Their fight went on for at least another ten minutes, long enough for his parents to assume she had died.

They didn't know she was already dead, for the most part.

*

When Danny woke up, he couldn't remember anything that happened the night before. he remembered Tucker walking back into his/their room and then... murky moments of flying and getting punched in the face.

Danny wasn't sure if both of those sensations went together or not.

Danny then talked to Tucker's parents... and imagine his surprise at learning that the mystery boy had attacked Sam, and most likely had attacked him as well!

Danny's feelings about the mystery boy were mixed, after all, he tried to save Danny's parents, and he did save Danny himself... But now he attacked Sam?

"And like, who's side is this jerk on?!" Sam exclaimed, apparently only remembering parts of the night before herself. "If he attacked me and Danny, who's to say he won't attack you?" She asked Tucker, who seemed oddly frustrated at the both of them. "I don't know, maybe the fact that I'm just a normal kid? I mean, you guys are... How do I put this... you guys are weird. A mutant, and a vampire." Tucker sighed. "I'm going on a walk."

Tucker stood and started towards the door. "Are you sure that's a good idea? What if he attacks you, you wouldn't be able to defend yourself!" Danny grabbed Tucker's shoulder. Tucker shoved Danny away, glaring at his friend hatefully. "And you can? You haven't won a single one of the fights you've been in." Tucker snapped. "And it's not like Sam beat him either." With that, Tucker left the room, angry and little did they know, in pain.

*

Tucker's side was throbbing. Sam had slashed, and kicked him in the sides most of all. After he had finally managed to knock Sam out, having destroyed his door and much of the furniture, Tucker had checked on Danny. After retracting his suit, he pretended to crawl back into his window and ask his terrified parents what was going on.

Of course, they called his alter ego a menace and said he was downright evil. Right to his face.

Gotta love your parents, right?

Then, Danny and Sam appeared to have lost their memories of the night before, erasing Danny's memories of Tucker's secret and placing Tucker in a very, very bad position.

The police were looking for his alter ego due to his parents, and now Sam and Danny thought he was evil.

Maybe if he told them the truth, they would listen. Maybe they would understand and they wouldn't have to fight again.

Maybe, just maybe, they would listen to him. But that was a chance Tucker could not, or more accurately would not take. They could hate his alter ego, he would deal with it. It was worth it to retain their friendship.

His heart was tougher than Danny's and Sam's combined in his opinion, despite Danny's heart being radioactive and Sam's being mostly obsolete.

Tucker's was filled to the brim with blue serum, which tinted his blood blue, and gave him the powers that flowed through his veins.

I know, it wasn't that good and maybe a little confusing. But I am trying.

Now, for a little explanation.

Danny may eventually become a hero of sorts, but he won't go through all of the same struggles as his cannon counterpart. Some of those will be reserved to Tucker, as the boy behind the mask.

With that being said, next chapter I promise I will introduce Valarie Gray, but her role won't be at all what you expect.
