So, near the end guys! I can't believe I have almost reached the end of season one. I am really glad I came back to this story and picked it up! I don't particularly like this story. I feel like there were no Caleb/ Cornelia moments and in my mind, they are so caught up in preparing for the final battle that I don't really imagine them having too many moments. He is a leader and she is determined to get Elyon back. There aren't many moments for romance but nethertheless I hope you like it! Let me know what you guys think.

"This is your department Caleb, you can get her out of her crap mood."

"Yeah Caleb talk to her, see why she is no annoyed at Irma."

"I am not being funny girls, but we know why she is so annoyed at Irma. She is worried about Elyon and wants us to take it seriously."

All the girls stood arms crossed staring at him, with annoyed faces.

"Fine I will talk to Cornelia."

Caleb sighed, he didn't want to have to deal with an annoyed Cornelia right now. He had too much else to be dealing with. Truthfully, he felt that he had the complete same attitude as Cornelia at the moment. He wanted everything to be taken seriously. As much as he liked Irma it did annoy him that she wasn't really taking things seriously. If he was asking for advice than sometimes he wanted actual advice. Still he did understand that if Cornelia was being so snappy with Irma the chances where that there was more going on underneath her mood. She was probably incredibly stressed about Elyon. Therefore, he decided to take some time out of his planning to talk to her. Which is why he was now stood at her apartment door. Hesitating whether he should knock or not. See this is why he needed to get one of those phones they were always using. Ignoring the nerves he felt he knocked on the door. Almost instantly a small blonde girl opened the door, followed by what he imagined was Cornelia's mum.

"Lillian, I told you not to answer the door. Hello, can I help you?"

"Uh hi, yeah I am Caleb. I am Cornelia's friend. Is she in?"

Her mum started to smile.

"Oh, you are the Caleb we hear so much about. She is upstairs, Lillian why don't you go and get her?"

Lillian headed off with a complaint.

"So, Caleb tell me about yourself."

Caleb started to feel himself blushing, talking about himself. Especially when there are only limited things he can share was never his favourite thing. Luckily before he had the chance to speak Cornelia had appeared.

"God mum, don't be embarrassing. Caleb come on."

She reached out and grabbed his hand. As he walked by he uttered a quick 'nice to meet you'. They reached her room and once he had closed the door she began to talk.

"Please say she didn't embarrass me?"

"You are all good, she turned up just in time."

"Thank god for that, what are you doing here?"

"Well you got so annoyed with Irma earlier I wanted to see if you were okay?"

"I am just stressed. You get it right? It is like everything she says has just been rubbing me up the wrong way. None of the girls are fighting for their best friend here. Yes, they love Elyon but not the way I do. I just need them to realise that this is a life or death matter and Irma's jokes take away from that."

"I know trust me. There is a time and a place and Irma hasn't quite mastered it."

Cornelia nodded and walked over to her bed flopping on it. Caleb walked over and flopped down next to her.

"How do you cope with this waiting game? I can't stand it anymore. I am so nervous all the time and I just want to fight."

"Trust me I would love nothing more to just fight right now. The longer we leave it there more danger Elyon is. But we need time to plan if we want to do it right."

"I know, I know. I will lay off Irma. I am just so fed up of waiting."

They lapsed into silence and Caleb turned his head till he was looking at the wall of photos he had first seen when he was in Cornelia's room. He noticed that another one of them had been added, from the night they had rescued the rebels. It was a cute photo and it was clear for anyone to see that he was completely taken with Cornelia. He was staring completely at her laughing at something she had said. Photos had to be one of the coolest things about Earth. Around the two photos of him and the loads of the W.I.T.C.H. girls there where so many photos of Elyon. Pictures of them as children growing in too teenagers. One photo was taken at Will's birthday just like the first photo of him had been. His heart did hurt for her, the fear she must be feeling was something else. Caleb wasn't fearful but he was worried. There was a big difference.

"Hey Cornelia."

She hummed and turned to face him. Before waiting for a response, he continued.

"I promise you we will save her. I will do everything I can to get her back to you."

"I believe you Caleb."

They both smiled and he pulled her body towards him so she was leaning on him. They stayed cuddled for a little while. Enjoying the peace for once before Caleb knew he had to leave. They both had preparations to make. Cornelia needed to be practicing her powers and he needed to be planning the attack. He probably needed to go to Meridian. There would be time for peace in the future.

They seemed to have silent agreement that it was time for him to leave and he was beginning to get up there was a bang on Cornelia's door and it opened. Her mum stood in the doorway.

"Door open if there is a boy in your room Cornelia." She walked away.

Cornelia rolled her eyes.

"I didn't even think about it. Things with you just seem so different."

"A good different?"

"Yeah Caleb, a good difference don't worry. I mean I don't think that if you are in my room that there is only one thing on your mind. You want to talk and are honest."

"I know my priorities." He smiled and tucked her behind her ears.

"Have a good practice. I will see you at some point and update you on the plan."

She smiled and pulled him in for another hug.

Little did they know that they would be meeting sooner than expected to try and get the heart back.
