I don't even know how to appropriate warn you about what's about to happen. Like Jacob is… he's just broken and he keeps replaying all these horrible things Edward said to him and he kinda starts believing them and well… ugh! UGH!

Shout_Outs:

animefreakpunk: Well I'm not sure, but I think it's going to head that way. I've been planning the story out and so far it looks like it will end up being Jakeward, but I never trust my own plans coz they change sometimes… but yeah, things are looking up for Jacob and Edward. Yeah no, I'm not planning on making it a Jacob/OC story so don't you worry about a thing… Thank you (:.

Casper97: Thank you!

lytebrytehybrid88: Well no, just trying to annoy Edward, and Sam can handle himself I'm sure.

Marie One: She's awesome! There'll definitely be hugs! He did have it coming though, he deserves to suffer… She won't be making an appearance for a while, but she'll be here. I'm not actually sure what I want to do with her right now. Like at first I was set on her being a complete bitch about everything, but now I'm conflicted because I had an idea but at the same time I'm like 'nah!'. But we'll see how it goes as the story progresses.

EpicKiya: Even I thought it was funny when I wrote it :D. Yeah, he's like her baby, she'll go mama bear on anyone who tries to hurt him. Thank you (:.

carol1653: Rosalie has a better understanding of what Jacob's going through so she wants to protect him with everything she has and if it means making Edward suffer… weeeeeell, casualties of the war.

KxZ fan: True, but Edward doesn't know that.

Rat3000: It may very well be Jake and Edward. Sam and Jacob, not so much because Sam's already madly in love with Emily and his feelings won't change.

Emeralden Rapley: I feel you; Rosalie is the bomb–diggidy. I'm not sure if it'll be James or Riley because I'm thinking of keeping things as canon as possible in that regard, but we'll see how it goes. Sam and Jacob are a no–go because Sam already has an Imprint and it won't magically disappear. I don't know though, I have a Vampire in mind but I don't know how it'll go, we'll see. Mwaaa, thank you (': *blushes*. Rosalie's queen (:.

sara sarita02: She's awesome and sly and the best thing ever (:. He does and who better than Rosalie to make him suffer for what he did. It's going to be a happy ending, but then again it could not be (but I'll probably write an alternative ending or something, not sure). Oh he shall suffer…

darkhound: Why thank you (:, I'm glad to hear it, please do enjoy the next one too.

Xavion639: Yes, Edward feels very protective on Jacob and it's only going to get worse! And here's more for you to enjoy.

Guest: Riley might've been a good idea, but I kinda want to keep that part of the story the way it is—with Riley dead. I'm not planning on making it a triangle with any of the Wolves nor with Edward's brothers or sisters. Right now the person I'm planning on using is kind of an enemy but I'm not sure. I think there are zero stores of Jacob and the person I'm planning on pairing him with, but I don't know… I'm just kind of conflicted right now about who I want to use because I can see the appeal with all these people but I don't know. At the end of it though, the Wolves are out and so is Edward's family. I'll have to really think the pairings over some more.

Guest: True, she may have very well been one of the best candidates, but I don't know. I kinda want her to stay dead though *shrugs*.

dris: No, there won't be any Sam/Jacob, this is just Rosalie being Rosalie.

nicolelilfreak: Well, Sam and Jacob won't be together so no worries and with Edward well it would seem it's heading that way, but I don't know. Yeah, we'll all just have to wait and see—even I don't know what will happen yet, I'm so terrible!

Even In The Darkness

Jacob completely flipped out when he woke.

Rosalie expected it. She'd known it wouldn't be good but then again… Jacob threw a good few punches, shouting hate–filled words at Edward before panic had set in. Luckily Rosalie was still there. She'd hurried to him and got him away and oh how the gods were smiling down at her because not a moment later, Sam rushed in and without though hurried to Jacob. The teen threw himself at Sam, clutching at the man's arms as he wept against Sam's bare chest.

"What happened?" the Alpha demanded, his arms wrapping themselves securely around Jacob. He looked at Rosalie who glared at Edward. "What did he do?" Sam growled, still holding Jacob. "Jake, did he hurt you? What happened? Come on, Jake, tell me what happened!" Sam touched Jacob's cheek, urging the distressed teen to look at him.

"Oh gods, Sam please, harder! Please Sam— Sa— ngh, oh Sam— —"

An animalistic growl ripped from Edward's snarling lips and he went to attack Rosalie but before he could reach her, Emmett and Jasper burst into the room, holding Edward back. The copper–head struggled hard, looking deranged and ready to murder Rosalie. The brunette smirked maliciously at her brother as he struggled. It was too easy, way too easy to torture Edward like this.

An image of Jacob and Sam in the throes of ecstasy is vividly clear. Jacob has his arms and legs wrapped securely around Sam as the older man pounds into him, kissing his face, neck, chest, touching his body with soft gentle caresses while rolling his hips against Jacobs, moving within him.

"I love you," Sam says against Jacob's cheek. "Jake, I love you so much."

Jacob's eyes are closed, his head titled back. "Love you too," he gasps in response. "Please, I'm so close."

*slap–slap–slap*

Skin meeting skin, sound of kissing, heavy breathing, Jacob moaning louder, Sam grunting and panting declarations of love, promising protection and eternal love and repeating over and over and over again how beautiful Jacob is.

Then Jacob draws in a stuttered gasp, he lets it out and then—

"Rose please," Edward sobbed, gasping hard, almost as if he couldn't breathe, like he couldn't draw enough oxygen into his lungs and it was the strangest thing but Rosalie wouldn't stop, not for him because he didn't, because he had to have known it was wrong but hadn't stopped.

then Jacob whines. Sam grunts a little louder, the bed creaks a little different and then— —

"Rose please, I'm begging you, plea— —"

Jacob's legs spread wider, he grips at Sam a little tighter and his face scrunches up just a little. "Yes! Yes, Sam please, fill me, mark me, make me yours. I love you, I love you so mu— —"

"Rose, stop it!" It was a different voice this time, smaller, female—Alice!

Rosalie sighed, turning to look at her sister. Alice's eyes were wide, unshed–able tears threatening to fall though they may never do so—Rosalie couldn't be sure anymore. Edward was crying, balling, suffocating, whatever, Rosalie didn't give two shits either way. Alice wasn't looking at Rose anymore, she was looking to Edward. The small Vampiress moved towards her practically dying brother.

Alice said nothing, just looked down at Edward and he looked up at her as if she were his last hope. She probably was his last hope because nobody else would give him any information and his almost attack on Rosalie would certainly have Emmett against him even more now.

Rosalie was glad Sam had gotten Jacob out the house. She wasn't so glad about Alice's arrival though, she would've much preferred Edward to suffer a little longer—wrong, a lot longer than he had. She'd wanted him to go insane imagining what Sam and Jacob were doing, how they were a happy family with Mason and how Jacob totally didn't care about Edward's existence, at all! It would've been excellent. But whatever, what little torture Rosalie could bring was better than nothing, and anyway, Edward would always wonder. He'd seen the way Jacob had clung to Sam, the way Sam had held Jacob close to him. There could've possibly been more to it, easy.

"Rosalie, just go!" Alice demanded, turning to glare at her sister. Rosalie narrowed her eyes, screaming 'traitor' at her sister in her mind. Alice flinched, but her glare didn't wane. "Go, Rose."

"You can't— —"

"GO!"

Rosalie huffed, rolling her eyes, but decided to go. She wanted to check up on Jacob anyway, make sure he was all right. Mason was with Sue and Emily, thank goodness, and Rosalie was sure that's were Jacob would be.

When Rosalie got to Sue's house, she found Sam, Billy and Sue in the kitchen, talking quietly and drinking what smelt like tea. Rosalie nodded at them, sitting down on the last chair available with a sigh. Nobody said anything for a while before Sam let out a sigh and turned to Rosalie.

"He wasn't supposed to come here," Rosalie said, shaking his head. "We couldn't not tell him of course, not like we had a choice there, but we hoped… And then Jacob— —" Rosalie breathed in deeply. "Nobody was home. We didn't know. And then he was there and he was— —" Rosalie choked on the words and feel silent. Billy gripped her hand, patting it gently.

"We can't really do anything about it now, can we?" Sam said with a sigh. He sounded so tired and helpless, he looked it too.

"I bloody well will do something about it!"

"What did you do?" Billy asked. He'd spent enough time with Rosalie to know that when angered she would react ruthlessly.

"I didn't do anything." The denial was too quick and Billy raised a brow. Rosalie sighed, rolling her eyes at Billy and the man's brow only rose higher. "All right, fine. I may have maybe implied that Jake was in a relationship with Sam."

"Rose— —" Billy was interrupted by Emmett knocking at the door. They all looked at him and he looked awkwardly at Rosalie.

"What?" the brunette asked, already getting up.

"Uh… well, um, Alice has left the building," Emmett said.

"What?"

"After a few very heated words, she left the house."

"What?"

"She told you–know–who she hates him and wants nothing to do with him."

"No?"

"Yes!"

"Well… Where is she now?"

"She was going for a drive, but I think she's going to come over here. I thought I'd just you know, let you know that she isn't a traitor." Rosalie nodded. "I should go home and…" Emmett waved his hands, gesturing some silent verb. "I'll see you at home." Rosalie nodded again and watched as Emmett turned and disappeared from the door.

"Huh…" the brunette said to herself. she turned to the others in the kitchen but nobody had anything to say. They all just sat there, silently.

[*]

Alice was quite for a long moment, just looking at Edward. She nodded at Emmett and Jasper and they very reluctantly left the room. Alice let out a sigh, shaking her head.

"Alice— —" Alice looked at Edward, almost as if she felt sorry for him.

"Sam and Jacob aren't together," she said. "They can't for two reasons. One: Sam already has an Imprint and two: because you forced your Mark on Jacob. But Jacob hates you and he wants nothing to do with you. And honestly, he might not be able to be with another Shifter but I hope that he finds a Human who'll be good for him, because I don't want you anywhere near him."

"Alice— —"

"I wish I could tell you something else, Edward. But after what you did…" Alice shook her head in disappointment. "You hurt him, you hurt so badly and then you ran. And to make it worse you had no gut to tell us what happened. Edward, do you know what your actions did? Do you know what almost happened because you were boneless? Jacob almost died because of you! Do you know what you did when you hurt Jacob? You hurt Rosalie too, do you even realise that? Do you realise just how much damage you did to everyone?"

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry isn't going to fix anything, Edward! You're stupid sorrys aren't going to make Jacob okay again. They aren't going to fix him! They aren't going to take away the pain that he feels every day because of you! I trusted you, Edward, I looked up to you. But now I can't even look at you without feeling sick. I thought you were better than this. I thought you were good."

"Allie— —"

"I can't, Edward, I'm sorry but I can't. I can't feel sorry for you and I can't take your side and I can't defend you and I can't even forgive you for what you did. I hate you so much right now, it sickens me. I… I just can't, I can't."

"Alice— —"

"No!" Alice turned away from Edward and left the room. Jasper was waiting outside and he wrapped his arms around her as she wept tearlessly. Alice wasn't an angry person, she didn't want to hate anyone, but she couldn't— Edward had done something so evil and shameful and, and Alice just couldn't look at him without wanting to hurt him. "I have to get out of here," the Vampiress whispered, moving away from her Mate. "I can't be here right, I just have to go."

"Would you like me to go with you?" Jasper asked gently, touching his wife's arm. Alice shook her head.

"I'm just going to go for a drive. I'll see you later, okay?" jasper nodded. Alice kissed his cheek before heading down the stairs. Esmé hugged her tightly before letting her going and allowing Alice to leave the house.

The Seer got into her cherry red Porsche, and just cried. For almost half an hour she just sat in the car and cried. She was so angry at Edward and she hated him and Alice didn't want to ever have to hate anyone but Edward, he just— Alice couldn't even look at her brother without wanting to rip him apart. It was something the Seer had never felt before and it frightened and angered her and she just couldn't deal with being in the same space as Edward at the moment.

After another ten minutes or so of just sitting in the car crying, Alice finally got herself together. She started the car and reversed out the garage. Without much thought, the girl spun the car around and sped down the curving dirt road towards the main road. She turned the radio, unable to stand the silence, and turned it up to the highest setting and just let the music distract her.

ooooo

It was hours later when Alice decided to head to La Push. She was sure Rosalie was still there, and she was certain Rosalie didn't want to see her because of what she thought Alice did or said. She'd explain everything to Rosalie when she saw her.

Alice got to the Black's home and put the car on park. She just sat in the car for a long moment, not sure what to do. She could hear Rosalie in the house with Sam and Billy, couldn't hear what they were saying but knew they were talking. When the Black's front door opened, Alice looked up. Rosalie was standing there, waiting for her—she didn't look angry.

The Seer let out a breath then got out the car. Before she could even do anything else Rosalie had zoomed towards her and was hugging her. Alice froze for a second before hugging back, tightly. Her body was shook as she cried silently and Rosalie tightened her arms around her, shushing her.

"It's okay," Rosalie whispered, kissing her sister's forehead. "It's okay."

"I'm angry, Rose, I'm so angry but I don't be," Alice whispered, her voice shaky.

"I know, I know. You, you aren't supposed to be angry. You're always supposed to be happy, to be our sunshine. I don't want you to be angry."

"I don't to be angry either, but it's so hard not to be. I look at him and I… I can't— I want to— Rose!" Alice sobbed then.

"Shh–shh–shh, it's okay. I understand, we all understand. Alice, we're all angry."

"I don't want to feel like this."

"I know. I wish I could do something to take the pain away, but I can't. Jasper— —"

"No. I don't want him to be burdened; he already has to deal with his own emotions. I can't…" Rosalie nodded, shushing her sister some more.

"It's okay. Come inside, Billy and Sam are waiting for you."

"Rose, I don't— —"

"It is okay, Alice. They want to see you." Alice nodded and allowed Rosalie to lead her into the house...

TBC…

Well that was an emotional roller coaster. Whow!
