I'VE RETURNED! Please R&R and I shall see you at the bottom of the page.

Disclaimer: I do not own Peter Pan

The climb up the mountain was a tiring thing to handle, especially when you were tied up with thick rope. We've been walking for almost two hours now and so far we've gotten only halfway up. It's been good progress but two hours is two hours and I can tell that the rest of the crew that James has with him are extremely worn out as well.

James and Michael were being held a few yards away from me preventing me from checking on them and seeing if they were hurt or if they had any luck in finding their sister, but then again if they had found her they probably wouldn't be here. I just really hope that Wendy is OK.

"Alright, let's keep up the pace now. We have to get to the peak before sundown," James yells from the point of the group while climbing up onto a rock ledge off the small 'road' we've been walking on for the past two hours, "Cut the boys loose, but just make sure they don't escape you. We can't have them climbing up the side of the mountain tied up, now can we?" the pirates are quick to comply as the thick ropes slip off my shoulders and onto the ground.

"No funny ideas," the pirate behind me growls while holding a pointy sword close to my back menacingly, but even as he keeps his tone rough I can clearly feel his shaking hand.

I smile while shaking my head in disbelief, "Wouldn't think about it," I murmur while following James up the mountain making sure that the boys are close behind me. I wonder why we're going to the tip of the mountain though? What could possibly be so important up there that James would want to climb an entire mountain to get there?

Searching around the Den I find a few weapons that seem useful enough to use. The boys have practically covered themselves with self made knives and bows that adorn them like lights on a Christmas tree, only that Christmas decorations are much safer than what they're wearing.

"Is everyone ready," I ask while pulling on a sheath and one of Peter's swords, seeming as it is the only weapon that I know how to use, around my waist just over the trousers that I found lying around. I wasn't about to go to a fight with a torn up dress when there is plenty of clothing, no matter how worn out and dingy, lying around the small room. Everyone answers with excited yells and crows while some of them bang their spears on the floor, "Then let's go,"

They all begin to rush toward the entrance just as Tinkerbell showers each running boy with pixie dust. They pass under her with a smile that she returns, but other than that there is just silence. She will not be going with us, why, I do not know, but she will be aiding us with the ability to fly up to the mountain instead of climbing up the rocky slope. That way we can either catch up to the pirates or move on ahead of them and ambush them freeing both Peter and my brothers.

I begin to walk outside noting that Tinkerbell is no longer floating above the doorway but I don't mind her absence seeming that she is probably outside with the boys. Strapping a few more daggers into my belt and then pull on a leather vest with various pockets on the inside over my white buccaneer shirt that was undoubtedly Peter's at one point.

Once outside I look around and find the boys floating about in the sky along with Thomas who seems as carefree as ever, even though we're just about to go into a fight against his 'family'. I wouldn't hold it against him if he were to side with the pirates once we got to the peak. They have, in fact, done no real wrong to him.
"Are you ready," startled, I look up to find Tinkerbell hovering just above my nose holding a small smile on her tiny gorgeous face.

"Umm, yes, I'm ready," she nods and starts to circle me beginning at my feet and ending at the top of my head while pouring golden dust on me as she goes. When she finishes she returns to being in front of me just as I begin to levitate off the ground slowly, "Thank you,"

I begin to fly away but she stops me by placing a tiny hand on my cheek making me slightly flinch. I haven't fully gotten over at how she had pulled my hair that first time we met, "Wendy," she grows quiet after saying my name and her gaze slightly looks up at the energized boys who are undoubtedly waiting for me, "Please be careful," even though they are words of encouragement I can't help but feel that there's something she isn't saying by the sound of her tone. Her anxious eyes also don't fail to make me feel scared on what I should expect at the peak of the mountain.

As I try to follow her wandering gaze I notice what seems to be a small girl with red hair peeking through one of the makeshift windows of the den looking down at me with a somber look. She must be Nellie.

When Tinkerbell finally looks at me with a smile, one that looks forced, I can't help but notice the glistening tears at the edge of her eyes. I smile back not wanting her to feel worse while nodding my head, "Sure," I begin to float upward as she descends down to the cold leaf strewn ground, "I promise that I'll return safe with the boys," she nods, "And Peter," and I meant every word.

I would return, and it would not be alone. I would return Tinkerbell's children back to her safe and sound, because after all they were her children no matter what. She raised them in her own way and that's all that counted.

We would all return...

Hopefully.

So I am super sorry that I am a week late, but I will be honest when I say that I was stuck on this chapter for quite a bit. I'm also sorry that it is short, because I believe it's short, and a bit of a drag but I have now finally gotten this block it out of the way so I can now move on to the next one. Thank god.

The next chapters should be longer seeming as the conclusion of this story is Finally coming. I do plan on finishing this story by the end of the month and beginning the last story somewhere in December when I get my bearings in check. Thankfully next week I'm off on Thanksgiving break so I should - depending on my mother - have plenty of time to finish the remaining chapters.

So, I will be updating on Friday, if I finish chapter 22 by then, and continue on posting until this book is done. If not I'll end the story somewhere in the beginning of December, but I guess we shall see.

Shout Outs

That goes for everyone else that Follows, favorites, and reviews. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Now I have a challenge for each and every one of you. I'm stuck on finding a name for my third and final story of this trilogy. With what you have all been reading I can assume that all your brilliant minds can help me come up with a name for my story. I'm asking because the only thing I've got is just Neverland, but it seems too hackneyed and I need something more, So that's the question for this week. What should I name my third story?

Anywho, If you are enjoying my story so far please follow, favorite, and review - remember that reviews are a writers candy - and if you have any questions or ideas that you'd like to see put in this story don't be scared to PM me and I'll gladly add it into the story.

Again, I'm sorry that this chapter was infinitely short, but I promise the next one will be longer.

Until next time my lovelies.
