It's finally time for the epic show down.

This will most likely end up being one of the longest chapters if not the longest chapter.

Chapter 20

Everyone else had gathered at the entrance of the forest as the sun was going down. Axel and Riku were fully prepared, but Vanitas and the twins were looking a bit uneasy. "Relax, guys. Kairi is going to show up with the potion any minute." Axel said, lighting a small ember in his hand for practice. "I don't really understand... why tonight of all nights? What's so special about it..." Riku was thinking about the situation. Vanitas was watching the sky going dark, looking like he was in a daze. "Vanitas? You okay?" Ven asked, seeing Vanitas in his trance.

"Huh? Oh... yeah, I'm fine." Vanitas gave a reassuring look to the group. Kairi quickly arrived, followed by Euria in her human form... and that for some reason got Axel to react. "What the- you're the one that cast that spell that temporarily stripped Riku's powers away!" The red-haired vampire protested, pointing to Euria. "What? No, Euria is Kairi's familiar. No way she'd be able to cast magic like that." Vanitas said. "You did what to Riku?!" Kairi turned to look at Euria. "It was an accident!" Euria protested. "I didn't know he was in range of the spell!"

"Wait...huh?" The group was definitely confused.

"Familiars can't use magic like that..." Axel frowned. "Look, we'll explain later. Now are we going to go and rescue Sora or not?" Euria huffed. "Wait... what is Vanitas doing here?!"Kairi asked, looking shocked to see Vanitas. "He's here to help us, obviously." Roxas said. "What? But it's a full moon tonight!" Euria said. That caused the group to react in surprise. "Tonight?! But Sora's... why would she want to go after Sora when he shifts into a werewolf?!" Riku asked. "Maybe she's not really going after Sora..." Ven suggested.

"Who do you think she would go af...ter... Vanitas?" as Ven turned to ask his boyfriend, he saw that Vanitas had fled into the woods. "Vanitas!" "Ven, easy. He didn't want to transform and turn on us. He'll be fine." Axel said to reassure the blond. "Can we go now? The longer we wait, the more likely she might end up hurting Sora!" Riku snapped. "Yeesh, we're going. No need to get so worried about your little crush. We can save him." Axel said.

"Sora's not- ugh, let's just go!"

The skies were dark and the full moon was rising in the sky. Sora cried out in agony, his body twitching and squirming as he tried to fight the transformation. "Let me go, Let me go! I don't want to hurt anyone!" He muttered. "Awwww, you are a little pup... You bunch are always such pathetic weaklings. No wonder it was so easy to trick you." Larxene gave a small scoff. Sora instinctively snarled at Larxene, teeth starting to grow sharper along with his nails. "You don't scare me. I've heard tiny lap dogs with a better bite than you..."

Sora's eyes suddenly changed to a sickly green, the more 'feral' side of him taking over. "You fucking bitch! When I'm free I'm gonna rip your heart out with my bare fangs and use it as a chew toy!"He started snarling and growling, the noises become more like an animal. "I'd like to see you try, mutt. You won't be able to lay a claw on me once your transformation is done..." Larxene smirked, getting close to the werewolf, only to quickly go out of reach and laugh as Sora lunged at her. "Now to just wait for your little vampire friend..."

Of course, she didn't have to wait long.

Riku was heading along with the group behind him. "Y-You sure we're not gonna just...run into Vanitas while looking for this crazy lady?" Ven asked. "Yes, we're sure. Vanitas is probably still in the process of transforming. It usually takes a few minutes or so. Meaning if Sora is transforming, we gotta find her and get him away from her before he fully shifts." Axel explained. "I still don't get why she needs Sora to be a werewolf. Does she just like getting supernatural in their real form to get their hearts or whatever she does?" Roxas asked.

"Who knows. Either way, there's six of us and one of her. And Kairi and I can use magic to help you guys out." Euria said. "Speaking of which, mind tellin' us how you can use magic?" Axel asked. "Euria is actually a witch, that's all I know from all this." Riku said. "Yeah, but why go around saying she's a Familiar?" "Does it really matter? Come on, we have bigger things to worry about. Like you know, making sure Sora doesn't get killed?!" Euria gave a frustrated huff. Riku suddenly halted, the group coming to a stop.

"This isn't right... This part of the woods doesn't look familiar at all." Riku muttered. "Yeah... the trees feel totally different. But you and I have been here for years, how could it feel different?" Axel asked, looking around. "Probably some kind of illusion spell. Demons have their own talents. Black Magic, Mind Control, Possession, etcetera. Let me have a quick look." Kairi said, starting to feel the trees to figure things out. "What was that 2nd part?" Ven and Roxas both spoke up at that. "They do have a tendency to turn people against each other..." Kairi explained.

Riku seemed to go even paler, freezing in place.

"Riku? What's up, dude?" Axel saw how Riku seemed to freeze. "Werewolves have a weaker control of themselves when they transform! Don't you get it?! Larxene is going to use Sora and take control of his mind to have him go after people!" "What?!" The group immediately seemed to panic. "Got it!" Suddenly the illusion cleared, the forest looking more familiar. "We can't let Larxene get away with that! Sora would never forgive himself if he got the chance to snap out of it!" Roxas said. "Yeah, we have to go and save him now!" The group went from a calm walk to rushing through the forests, trying to track Sora down.

They finally came to the forest clearing. Sora had fully transformed, sitting by the tree he had been pinned against in an unconscious state. "Sora!" Riku quickly rushed to the werewolf. Roxas tried to speak up to yell at Riku, but Axel quickly shushed him and held the others back. "Sora, come on pup. Wake up." Riku gently shook Sora. "Well, well, well. Look at what the bats dragged in..." Larxene appeared in sudden swirls of darkness, giving a small smirk. "What's a vampire doing looking after a weak little pup? Unless you're one of those weak softies that like werewolves..."

Riku's eyes flashed to a blood-red, the vampire turning and hissing at Larxene.

"Oh, cute. Does someone need a little spray with holy water for his bad behavior?" Larxene spoke like she was babying a cat, making Riku more furious. "You are not getting away with just killing innocent humans and supernatural beings as a alternative to your food source..." He said. "Aw, but love is so disgusting to feed from. Most succubus love how sweet it is, but I can't stand it. and Feeding off of lust just grows sooo stale." Larxene smirked. "But feeding from someone's entire lifespan... now that's a meal! Surely you know the feeling from sucking someone dry of their blood..."

"I've never done that! Vampires have never sucked a human dry!" "New vampires... The old ones were much more brutal. But now you're all a bunch of soft sissies..." The Succubus scoffed. "But enough talk. If you want to fight, we'll fight. But first..." she whistled into her fingers. Sora seemed to jolt awake, getting to his feet. Instead of the sickly green color of his feral state or the normal pure blue, his eyes seemed to be a blank haze of grey. "Sora..." Riku frowned, reaching a hand out. The werewolf snarled, getting into an aggressive stance.

"Oh, too bad. Were you too late to save your little friend? Yes you weere~" Larxene said in a sing-song voice. "Now to kill me, you have to kill your friend first~ and it's two against one~"

"That's what you think!" Suddenly Axel launched a fireball, hitting the Succubuss in the back. He sprang out with the group, all of them surrounding her. "You're 'mind control' won't work on us! We figured out that was what you were going to do, and our spell prevents you from turning us against each other!" Kairi summoned flurries of magic in her hands. "Hmph. Clever. I see the werewolf got a few of his friends together on this... Two Vampires, two witches, and..." Larxene turned to Ven and Roxas, looking the two over.

She looked between the twins before bursting into a wicked cackle. "You brought humans with you? To take out a succubus? Oh, that is rich! How stupid is every supernatural in this town?" She quietly approached the twins. "Oh, and they're nothing but two little boys with cute little baby faces... I bet your hearts taste delicious..." Larxene moved to pinch at their faces, so Roxas quickly reacted by punching her and actually sending her back with the force. "We're not as weak as you think!" He protested. Larxene flinched at the punch, growing furious.

"What the heaven did you just do, you brat?!" she screeched, shocked that a human could have that much force.

"You like it? A little something that Kairi and I found to give them more of an boost. Oh, I'm sorry, did that punch hurt?" Euria had a boastful smirk on her face. Larxene looked at the group surrounding her, scoffing. "You'll all learn your place underestimating my powers!" More swirls of darkness appeared, forming into demonic creatures that let out terrifying screeches and metallic noises. "Let's see you take these on for size!"

The group all watched the demonic creatures, Ven and Roxas growing a bit pale. "M-maybe we should've gotten a bit more help..." Ven muttered. "Nah, we got this! We just gotta work together to take them all on." Axel said. "Oh, please. All this talk of 'teamwork' and 'friendship' is going to make me barf..." Larxene pretended to gag, holding back her forces for now. "Oh, losing your appetite, then?" Riku teased, only to quickly dodge as Larxene had Sora swipe at him with sharp claws. "Nice try, batty boy. I don't give up that easily." Larxene said.

"You're all going to regret doing this..."

Vanitas had regretted having to leave the group and having them find Larxene themselves... Of course, said regret faded away once the werewolf had fully changed form. As the group was encountering Larxene, the werewolf was hunting. A small fawn was in his teeth, shaking it like it was a dog toy before digging into the carcass. Suddenly lupine ears perked up at a loud yelping sound, a low growl omitting from the Were. He quickly ate the meat from the fawn, tracking down the source of the sound.

There was fighting going on. Strange screeching sounds and people yelling soon followed the yelp. Vanitas slowly creeped down as he got closer to the source of the commotion, taking a quick look from the cover. The group was fighting Larxene- Riku, Axel, and Euria fending off Larxene and the werewolf Sora while Kairi, Roxas, and Ven were fighting the strange demonic creatures. Vanitas watched Sora during the fight, no longer feeling territorial but more like there was an instinctive bond, like regular wolves in a pack.

And that was all Vanitas needed to go in.

The werewolf launched into the fight, snarling and letting out a long howl. "Vanitas!" Ven gasped, only to groan as the distraction let him get pinned down by one of the demonic creatures. "Hey! Get off of him!" Kairi quickly let out a blast of magic, the monster vaporizing into dark wisps as it was hit by the powerful magic. "Oh, what's this? Another werewolf...?"The dark creatures vanished, Larxene turning her attention to the werewolf. Before the witches had time to react, Larxene quickly went to work getting Vanitas under her control as well.

Bright red eyes quickly went to the hazy grey, the werewolf snarling at the group. "Oh great..." Riku muttered sarcastically. The demonic creatures vanished for now, but it was clear Larxene was far from finished. The two werewolves were now attacking the group. Riku and Axel were still working on fighting Larxene and Sora at once, but Ventus wasn't exactly fighting by the side of his brother and Kairi. "Van... C'mon, you gotta snap out of it!"He cried out. "Ven, it's not going to work! Help us out here!" Roxas groaned, trying to avoid getting too scratched up.

"No! I'm not going to hurt him!" Ven protested. Riku and Axel were focusing on fighting Sora, Euria using magic to try to hold the were back. Larxene gave a soft chuckle, taking the opportunity for herself. Sharp small knives appeared in her hands. Roxas could see this, and the way his twin was just trying to snap Vanitas out of her mind control. "Ventus, look out!"He called out. Larxene quickly rushed after Ventus, the blond turning his head and quickly shielding himself at first.

A sound of the knives piercing flesh quickly grabbed the group's attention.

Roxas had rushed in front of Ventus, taking the full force of the knives. The knives luckily hadn't struck his heat, but his stomach and waist had deep punctures from the knives. "Roxas!" Ven and Axel yelled out at once. Larxene gave a malicious smirk as she harshly pulled the knives out, Roxas falling to the ground. "I got him!" Kairi rushed over. "O-okay. Healing magic, healing magic..." she quickly casted something to try to save the blonde. Larxene kept cackling away. "One down, a few more to go! This should be child's play!"

Sora had watched as Roxas had slumped to the ground, eyes changing to their pure blue color. He left of a soft whining sound, ears flattening out in worry. Riku saw this, turning to the brunette. "Sora...?" He reached a hand out to the werewolf. Larxene quickly turned to the two and shot a bolt of electricity, shocking the Riku and Sora. Sora yelped in pain while Riku let out a loud yell, both falling to the ground. "Sora, Riku!" Euria gasped, going over to check if the two were alright. Larxene started cackling in pride. "Down for the count! Just four more to go!" she said, basking in her pride.

Vanitas looked over to Ven, seeing the blonde sobbing as Kairi used her magic to try to help Roxas. He then looked over to the now unconscious Sora and Riku, seeing the pup with crisp fur from being shot with electricity. Eyes turned back to the feral red, snarling at Larxene. The Succubus barely dodged the pounce. "What?! How dare you attack me, you mongrel!"she slapped the werewolf backwards. Axel saw Vanitas fighting back, summoning a flame in his hand. "You are not going to get away with this, you bitch!"

Larxene was quickly hit with the burst of flames, the succubus falling to the ground.

"What the..." Euria gasped as Riku seemed to slowly wake up and get to his feet. Larxene noticed this too, surprised to see the vampire get up so fast. "How are you already awake! I zapped you!"she snapped. Riku just stayed quiet before finally speaking up, glaring at Larxene with brilliant red eyes. "I guess I forgot to mention... Axel isn't the only one with control over a certain power..." As he spoke, the vampire's hands sparked with electricity. "Your little 'zap' needs more work if it wants to take me out."

Larxene saw that things were quickly going against her favor, growling in anger. "This isn't over..." As Vanitas tried to pounce again, the succubus vanished into wisps of darkness, seeming to teleport out of the fight. Vanitas let out a soft snarling sound, quickly going off again to try to track her down. Riku gave a small sigh, a bit relieved the fighting was over for now. "I stopped the bleeding for now!" Kairi called out. The group quickly rushed over, Euria going over to check up on Roxas and aid Kairi with the healing.

"Roxas is going to live, right?" Axel asked, concerned for his boyfriend. "Yeah, he will. We need to get him to a healer, though..." Kairi said. "A healer...?" Ventus asked. "Since a regular hospital isn't going to believe that a succubus attacked him, we need to get him to someone who specializes in healing magic. Luckily there's one in town..." Euria spoke up. A soft whining sound broke their focus, Riku looking over to see Sora twitching softly. "Sora's starting to come to. Come on, we should leave him and Van alone for tonight..." Riku spoke up.

"Yeah... we'll go and check up on both him and Vanitas in the morning..."

Sora did not want to get up the next morning. He felt terribly, like he had just been used as a lightning rod. But someone was gently shaking him. "Hey, Sor'. You alright?" He recognized the voice, opening his eyes. "Van...?" he looked up to the raven haired male, a bit confused. "Oh, thank god you're alive. I just remember a few things from last night and seeing you get shocked is one of them and seeing you just lying there I thought you were dead and-" Vanitas sighed in relief. "I guess we're officially a pack now considering I didn't maul you when I saw ya in wolf mode..."

Sora was still a bit dazed, carefully sitting up. "Did... did we win?"He asked. Vanitas paused. "Uh... I think so? That I don't remember." he said. "There you are!" They both turned their heads to the voices, seeing Ven and Riku coming through some large bushes. "Ven! You're alive too, oh thank god!" Vanitas quickly clung to the blonde. "V-Van! a-a bit too tight..." Ven said as a painful wheeze. "Riku!" Sora smiled, glad to see Riku was okay. Riku kneeled down to the brunette, checking the werewolf for any leftover electricity. "You're gonna be fine... no sign of any built up currents."

"Okay yeah, I gotta ask- you can control electricity and you never told us?" Vanitas asked, turning to look at the vampire.

"You never asked." Riku said matter-of-factually. Sora quickly gasped, a flash of memories coming to him. "Roxas! Is he alright? I remember that he got stabbed by Larxene! He didn't bleed out, did he?!" He asked. "Roxas is still alive. Kairi and Euria took him to a healer and he should be just fine." Riku said. "In fact, Axel's thinking of turning him once he recovers. which is about damn time if you ask me..."He added. "We got your clothes, Van. and some extra clothes for Sora!" Ven grabbed the large bag, pulling out the spare clothes.

"Oh, uh... right. Thanks." The two quickly got changed, Vanitas still pestering Riku. "Soooo Riku. Now that Larxene is gone for now... you got anything you wanna say to Sora?"He asked. "I am really glad you're alright." Riku said, turning to speak to Sora.. "Anything else...?" Sora asked, crossing his arms. "I'm sorry for not trusting you. I should've known you wouldn't blab out our plan..." Riku gently ruffed Sora's hair, the brunette giving a small smile. "Aaaand...?" Ven said, he and Vanitas giving Riku a knowing look. "Isn't there something else?"

"and what? That should be it, right?" Sora asked, turning to look at the two.

Riku gave a soft huff. "I have no idea what they could be talking about." He shot the two a scolding look. "What? Uh-uh, you need to tell him that-" Vanitas was about to protest, but Ven quickly cut him off. "I'm sure if Riku needs to tell Sora anything else, he can tell him later." "What? But... oh, fine." Vanitas gave a small sigh of defeat. "C'mon babe. I wanna see for myself that Roxas is doing okay." Riku watched as the two left, giving a small sigh of relief. "So why would Ven and Vani assume that you had something else that you wanted to say?" Sora asked.

"Sora..." Riku turned the brunette towards him. "I... I gotta ask you something. How do you feel about me?" he asked. "Huh? What do you mean?" Sora asked. "Just... be honest. Am I strict, am I mean or-" "What? No way. You're super nice, Riku. Yeah you can be a bit strict but that's just how you are sometimes. You're super sweet to me and Xion and- wait, what does this have to do with anything?" Sora asked. Riku held Sora by the shoulders, looking down at the shorter male. He did want to tell Sora how he felt, but...

No. Now wasn't the right time.

"Just wanted to know. Come on, let's go home." With that, Riku started walking back, a confused Sora trailing behind him.

And thus ends the bit of plot about Succubus Larxene.

will there be more plot in the future? Maybe.

Most likely.
