Normal POV
"Aruto~ I can't deal with this anymore!" The golden-eyed, long brunette haired Midori exclaimed, bursting into Aruto's office in a huff. She stomped over towards the red couch and lay face first into the soft cushions.
"What is it this time, Midori?" Aruto asked in a sigh. He continued to look at the papers in his hand, slightly glancing over at Midori. The pouty Midori lifted her head, puffing her cheeks and glaring at Aruto. She sat up, her shoulder less white crop top drooping to the right side of her shoulder. Sitting on the couch, continuously pouting. Aruto glanced at Midori one more time, and finally gave up, sighing in defeat, "Is it about Tsumugu or your manager?" he asked. She stood up in an instant.
"It's that annoying manager," She yelled, "Midori-san, you can't just walk out in the streets by yourself, Midori-san, you must wear clothes provided by the designer, Midori-san, Midori-san, Midori-san. AGHHH!" Midori yelled in frustration. Aruto smiled lightly, nodding as he listened to her rant. Midori finally sat back down on the red couch, lazily looking up towards the ceiling.
Since she was 15, Midori worked at Easter thanks to Aruto, who had introduced her to the company. For over 5 years, her popularity rose at a rapid rate. Teenagers loved her for her voice, personality, and everything that anyone would love about a person. Taking a deep breath, Midori turned her head, and looked at Aruto, who was bustling around with the paperwork on his desk. "Can you please find me another manager, Aruto?" she asked. Aruto stopped, and met Midori's eyes. He smiled lightly.
"I'll see what I can do. But just so you know, Kazuomi Hoshina is the most capable manager in this industry." Aruto said lightly. Midori nodded, and then stood up ready to leave. "By the way," Aruto suddenly started, "I just got a message from Tsumugu just now, he says that he's on his way here to see you." Midori quickly turned towards him, her face bright red.
"Why didn't you say earlier?!" she shrieked.
"Well, I supposed you would be happy to see him. I mean like, you were the one that said that you had the biggest crush for him, ne~" Aruto teased, holding his phone. Midori clenched her teeth, blushing harder than before. As she headed towards the door, they burst open with Tsumugu smiling widely.
"Midori-chii~~, I've come for you!" Tsumugu exclaimed happily. Aruto chuckled slightly as he watched Midori freeze up in embarrassment, in front of Tsumugu. "Midori-chi? Are you ok? Your face is pretty red. Do you have a fever?" He bombarded Midori with questions. Tsumugu took her by the waist and bent down, placing his forehead on top of hers. Midori came back to life, angry with embarrassment.
"Stop it, I don't have a fever! Get away!" she yelled flailing her arms around, and then running out of the office. Tsumugu laughed as he watched Midori run out with her tomato face. Tsumugu walked over towards Aruto's desk. "She's so cute when she runs away like that," Tsumugu said, smiling widely. Aruto sighed.
"When are you going to ask her out? You know that she is in love with you, and you also love her. Yet you still aren't going to ask her out?" Aruto said, chuckling lightly. Tsumugu smirked, and leaned forward.
"Maybe I'll ask Midori out, when you finally have the balls to ask out the actress, Souko-san," Tsumugu sneered. Aruto blushed lightly, and then looked away. Tsumugu chuckled at his reaction. "So what did you want me to go check out," Tsumugu asked. Aruto regained his composure, walked towards several of the cabinets on his right. While he opened the cabinets, the clanking of the metals filled the suddenly quiet room. Aruto took out a file, and handed it to Tsumugu. He sat back down in his chair, and waited for Tsumugu to read through it. Tsumugu opened the file, flipping through the pages, then flipping the file shut. "More x-eggs, huh?" he muttered.
"Recently the number of x-eggs which have emerged is greater than the number which we heal during Midori's concerts. This doesn't usually happen. Which is why I need you to go and investigate who is doing this, or if there is an underground business which is causing this," Aruto explained. Tsumugu nodded, and headed for the doors. Before leaving, he turned back.
"Tell me when you're going to ask out Souko-san. I'll ask Midori-chii out on the same day," he said smirking, and then walked out. Aruto brought his hands up, covering his eyes in annoyance and embarrassment. He got up from his chair, walked to the window, and peered into the city. 'I hope everything goes well,' he thought.
Tsumugu Hinamori, at the age of 16, he was arrested for leaking confidential secrets of the company which fired his father. A year after that, he was arrested a second time due to hacking a corrupted company, and returning all the money back to the poor. Even with that talent, he was never recognized as a hero, but only as a criminal. During the time he was in his cell, he would write down what he felt. When he was released, he created those thoughts into a song, and created songs which impacted people, so deeply it would give the audience shivers. After meeting Aruto, Tsumugu seriously started his music career. One day, as he is performing, he starts to see small floating characters as well as x-eggs. Upon learning that Tsumugu can also see the shugo chara, he introduces Tsumugu to another job. A hunter. Since then, Tsumugu has been investigating the causes of the x-eggs.
As he stood in the elevator, Tsumugu thought, 'I wonder how I should ask Midori-chii out. I know she loves cats, and cute things. Should I have a cat have a collar that says will you be my girlfriend? Or should I just ask her straight out?" He pondered the question in his head. The elevator gave out a 'ding' and the doors opened. As he walked out, he caught sight to blonde hair, and immediately stopped the elevator door before it closed, only to meet eyes with Souko. "Oh, hey Souko-san, back from your trip to America?" Tsumugu said.
The shocked Souko giggled, and nodded, "Yes, I got back yesterday. I meant to come yesterday, but I was quite tired, so I just went to sleep."
"Are you going to see Aruto?" Tsumugu sneered. Souko blushed lightly, averting Tsumugu's eyes. She nodded slightly. Tsumugu smirked cheekily, pushed on the highest floor, and stepped back. "See ya," he said, waving good bye. The elevator doors closed. Tsumugu huffed, and walked off.
~Midori at the moment~
Midori paced back and forth in her office, biting her nail. Suddenly she stopped. 'That Aruto! I swear someday I send him flying,' she thought. She recalled her actions when Tsumugu got really close to her, and she immediately sunk in embarrassment. Blushing different shades of red. 'Why did he have to get so close?! My heart was pounding so loudly. At this rate, he will know that I like him,' She thought, her head spinning. Suddenly the doors opened, and she immediately stood up, regaining her composure. From the doors emerged Kazuomi Hoshina.
"Midori-san, it's time to go to the interview. The café is around 2 hours away with traffic. If we leave now we could hopefully get there with 30 minutes left for make-up and hair." Kazuomi said with a stern face. Midori's expression became dull and annoyed. She nodded, grabbed her phone and walked out. Kazuomi followed behind her.
When they got into the car, Kazuomi sat in the front seat, and they drove off. The silence in the car was heavy. Suddenly, Midori's phone buzzed. She looked at the screen to see that Tsumugu had texted her. She smiled lightly and replied to his text.
'I'm going to an interview now. I tell you all about it when I'm done! ^o^,' she texted. The very moment she sent the text out, she started overthinking, 'oh no, was that too much? Was the emoticon too much?' Then again her phone buzzed. She looked at the text and smiled in relief. 'I'll just watch the show. I'm looking forward to it ;D'. Midori smiled and blushed.
Suddenly, Midori slid towards one side. The driver had all of a sudden started driving at maximum speed and took a hard turn. "Kazuomi, what the hell?! Tell him to drive slower!" Midori yelled. Out of the blue, a white cloth came into sight. Kazuomi held the cloth to Midori's nose and mouth. Fear overtook Midori, but soon enough her vision became hazy. No matter how strong willed she was, Midori fell.
"Go to the destination," Kazuomi ordered the driver. Midori murmured something, and then she finally passed out.
3 hours later
Midori's POV
It was cold. I blinked, opening my eyes. I was lying down on a cold concrete floor, but I couldn't see anything. I moved my arms around and kicked my legs around, but they were tied down. My arms were tied behind me, and my legs were tied together. The blindfold in front of my eyes didn't help much either. I squirmed around trying to sit up, but there was no wall anywhere near me. Continuously, I tried to sit myself up, but the minimal support for my back always got me falling back down.
"Midori-san, it'd be best if you would stopped struggling around," a voice suddenly said. It was Kazuomi. I gritted my teeth in anger and spat.
"You better have a good fucking explanation for this Kazuomi," I spat. Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted up from both my arms. The blindfold was yanked off my head, in an instant, brightness filled my sight. In front of me stood Kazuomi, smiling smugly. Two large men held me by my arms and one man stood behind Kazuomi. The room was four white walls, no windows and one rusty metal door. An underground basement.
"I do have a good explanation. My explanation is that you will no longer sing for Easter, and you are now a singer for Blue Moon," he said proudly. Rage filled me to the core. Before I could retort, he stopped me. "As you may know, many teenagers right now lose their would-be selves due to low self-esteem and discouragement. But they immediately find it back the very moment they listen to your songs, Midori-san," he started explaining, "But it has also come to my attention that you get much more sales when there are more depressed teenagers. So as long as they stay depressed, you will continue to earn profit." He exclaimed loudly. I guffawed as I saw where he was going with this.
"Do you really think that I will sing for you?" I said, smirking. Kazuomi frowned then smirked.
"I knew you wouldn't sing for us voluntarily, so I've created this serum, and you will listen to everything I tell you to do." I watched as Kazuomi brought the syringe close to my neck. Fear overcame my and I thrashed around.
"NO, I WON'T DESTROY A FUTURE OF A CHILD OR TEENAGER!" I protested, as I thrashed around. A sharp jab hit my neck and I jolted, freezing in my spot. The serum in the needle flowed into my veins, and once again I lost consciousness.
"Welcome to Blue Moon, Midori," Kazuomi said lastly.
