Kamikaze was watching her father and the midget man talking about something, probably about how they have this important dueling tournament coming up in a couple of weeks.

'So that's why Jack said he wanted the wedding after this month.' She figures to herself when she glances over at her soon to be ex-fiancée with a fake smile.

"You look beautiful." He compliments her. The red head could not help but to thank him out politeness for the compliment.

"It seems as if there's a buzz outside of the restaurant for my big announcement." Jack says with a small smile on his face that he would reserve solely for Kamikaze.

The blonde then peered over at Stacy only to find her preoccupied with her male companion. She wore a wide smile on her face before she unintentionally stared at her for a couple of seconds and faced her male friend.

'I don't know whether or not to trust that smile.' He mulls over when he peers back to Kamikaze, who chats across the table to her mother.

"So who are you bringing here to visit Neo Domino?" Kami was probing to figure out who her mother was bringing to the big city.

"They will be here during the tournament so don't worry about it." She unknowingly let some important information slips out but her daughter did not catch it. However, Rex heard what the older red head said to their daughter.

'I never told Nova about the Fortune Cup. Only Jack, Kamikaze, Jeager, Mikage and higher personnel know that.' Rex weighed after he observed her sip some of her drink as her hands were visibly shaken. 'She only does that whenever she's nervous.'

Kamikaze frequently checks the time since she could not believe that she was this nervous to proclaim that the wedding was off and that she is in love with someone other than Jack.

The waiters and waitresses soon emerge from the kitchen and deliver the appetizers as well as another round of champagne for the guests.

A "ting" noise was heard before everyone turned toward the source of the signal to find a blond hair woman, who was a very important person in Kamikaze's life rise to her feet.

"I would like to do the toast, if that's alright with the couple?" Stacy queries as a small smile surfaces on her face and causes Jack to tense up.

She receives the go ahead from her friend before she clears her throat as silence langiously falls over the table as Stacy ponders about of what to toast to.

"As you all know, in the last couple of months I gave birth to a healthy baby name Amanda K. Slupopper and my best friend Kamikaze and my boyfriend Mau helped me deliver my baby. After giving birth to her, some very important events were flashing through my mind when I was holding her in my arms. I felt as if this would be my best opportunity to tell you all." Jack senses the turn in her toast so he immediately cuts her off.

"Can you make this quick?" The blonde coldly questions before Kamikaze flashes him an inquisitive look on her face as to why would he interrupt such a perfectly good toast.

"Sorry Jack, I can no longer compromise with fabrics of papers anymore...the truth has to come out sooner or later…" The young woman boldly claims after she sips on the bubbly champagne when her friend continuously glances back and forth at the two blondes.

"So it's true, huh?" The red head eventually pops the question along with an unreadable facial expression when she lays eyes on her best friend.

"I knew you would figure it out, Kami. I told Jack he wasn't messing with a newbie but a pro at the game." Stacy honestly remarked as if the two conversed in an almost coded language that only the two of them knew.

Jack felt the intense glare of Kamikaze's eyes on the side of his face as he dared not to turn and look the woman in the face.

"Yes, Jack, all of your secret dirty deeds is now coming back to haunt you! Amanda is your biological daughter and on top of that you paid me quite a bit of money for me to keep quiet about our secret." She divulges to the red head, who did not know what to say at the moment.

"Jack…Jack…Jack," Kamikaze verbally mutters in between bouts of laughter, "You really thought, you were going to have everything you wanted if you swept all of your mess under a rug not knowing that one day I would've found out about it."

"I honestly trust Stacy over you in this situation even though I'm hurt that my best friend would go behind my back and sleep with you. She at least had the nerve to admit it to my face." She was briefly gazing at her friend before speaking again.

"By the way, you have excellent timing Stacy, my dear!"

"I do believe Jack is due outside with a highly anticipated announcement so if he wants to be spared of the drama from the media then I suggest you call this engagement off. If you don't...I will." The red head threatens him as she slides the engagement ring off and places in on the table.

Jack knew he was backed in a corner so he had to let all his weapons out, "I assure you that I'm not that baby's father."

This time both Kamikaze and Stacy laughed at the real fool, which was Jack.

"You think I would believe a single word you're telling me? You really fell and bump your head." Kamikaze conveys with anger in her tone.

The blonde was unexpectedly overhearing loud chattering from outside as the press was right on time for the King of Duels announcement.

He then observes his fiancee casually sips on her wine glass with a visibly devilish smirk on her face.

"If you don't mind, would you like to go home now?" Rex was asking after pushing his plate of appetizers away from him.

The older man was trying to avoid an even uglier conclusion to their drama.

'Why is Rex asking her is she ready to go?' Jack irritably grumbles as he watches her leisurely stand at her seat.

"Well then...a paternity test is in order for Amanda. Until then, you better not set foot anywhere near my property. If you do, I will be force to harm you."

"Besides, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to restrain myself around you." The red head sternly declares along with an intense glare.

The young woman abruptly storms off with her pride still intact.

Rex speedily escorts his daughter to the car before she breaks down once she makes it to where she deems no one watches her.

"I can't believe this shit…" Kami furiously screamed in between sobs while she deeply clawed at the leather but it would not budge no matter how hard she tried.

"Of all the freaking people in the world…he just had to choose my best friend…to get her pregnant…and then pay her to keep quiet about it?" She roughly slams her fist on the seat.

Rex could only watch as his daughter bawled her precious little heart out from heartbreak.

"I can't take this…I knew it….I knew it…when I smelled that same smell on him," Her fist connected with the window as shards of glass were now stuck in her hand. Streams of red blood trickled down her hand but she did not care.

During the next couple of minutes, she was cycling through crying, kicking, tearing at the leather seats, and screaming like a child having a temper tantrum. But who could truly blame her, her heart was broken and it was all because of Jack Atlas.

Rex guided his daughter inside of her home before he opted to stay just for the night. He silently feared that she could possibly harm herself if she was not under proper supervision.

'I hate to see her like this but she has to grow from this…this is the only way she can mature into a decent young lady.' The older man conceives when he decides to find a bowl and pours some hot water in it.

"You know what…this is only going to help me in the long run." Kami softly whispers after she cradles her head in her shard free hand.

Rex returns with a red bowl full of water along with some tweezers in hand.

"Where do you keep your alcohol and cotton balls?" His question rings in her ears.

"My bathroom is on the second floor to your right, two doors down," The red head guides him to her personal bathroom before he climbs up the stairs.

Kamikaze frequently clenched and unclenched her hand as she felt the pain from the sharp edges dug deeper and deeper into her flesh. She secretly welcomed the pain since it seemed to relieve her of her emotional pain.

"Alright then, let me take a look at that hand of yours before it becomes infected." Her father orders her after he retrieves a bag of cotton balls and plus a bottle of alcohol with a spray nozzle on it.

The red head physically rests her hand in his large ones as he starts to gently remove the glass shards that poke out of her delicate flesh.

"Rex, have you ever had your heart broken by someone you didn't love?" Kamikaze inquires with no emotions in her tone.

He mulled over his response after she asked him as he carefully picks a shard of glass and drops it in the bowl.

"How can you be heartbroken when you never love the person? If you never gave ownership of your heart then you should be fine."

The young woman contemplated over her father's response and admitted that he has a point based on his answer.

"I guess it wasn't about me being heartbroken per se...but it was rather me being angry at the fact that Jack cheated on me with my best friend. Then he tried to pay her off to keep her quiet about Amanda being his." The red head opines while she flinches when he removes a larger shard out of her hand.

"So did you really love Jack or did you like being around him?" Rex picks her brains since he senses that she was at odds with herself because she tried to figure out their relationship status.

"At first, I did. It wasn't until I went to the Satellite that I thought of him less and less but I always felt attracted to him." Kami honestly confesses before she realizes who she converses with.

'Since when did Rex become a expert on relationships?' She considers as she concentrates on his facial expression and tries to read them.

"You're probably wondering how do I know about relationships when you hardly seen me in some? Ironically, your mother left me in the exact same predicament years ago."

"I mean she didn't even leave me a letter or note saying where she was going. I was severely depressed most of the days."

"I didn't even want to work because I was plagued with thoughts that your mother left me for another man or worse she fell out of love with me." He divulges a bit about his past with her mother.

"You're this extremely successful man who owns the Turbo Dueling Arena, manages the best of the best of the duelists and an excellent spokesman for your own company." The young woman was rattling off not believing that the almighty Rex could possibly understand the funk she was in.

"You're probably like, how could I ever be depressed, huh?" The older man verbally voices after he drops a shard in the bowl.

"I'm human and like all humans we're entitled to any and all range of emotions. I dealt with being upset, sad, irate, frustrated and confused just like you are. I learned that it's okay to be sad but it is up to you to find your own happiness." Rex expresses with wisdom in his tone.

Kami just sat in complete total silence as she let what her father said marinate in to her mind. He was right.

Although she had a point of anger, it was really to cover up her sadness that she held in her heart. It was going to be up to her to get out of her funk.

Her father deliberately presses a few gauzes on her open wounds in her hand and gently wraps the white doctor's tape around her fist.

"Alright then, my work here is done." The older man declares after he examines her hand one last time before he bids her a good night.

'I'll go surfing in the morning. Hopefully that would clear my mind a little.' Kamikaze considered when she decided to sleep right on the couch.
