(Emily)
Paige pulls into our neighborhood "Home sweet home" Paige says jokingly knowing the tension.
I haven't told her yet about Maya being here. I never really talked to Paige about her all she knows is Maya is my friend from back in Virginia.
Paige drives us to Spencer house where I'm assuming both our parents are waiting for our arrival. As we are approaching I see Toby standing outside Spencer's house and as soon as he sees us he runs into the house.
"What do you think will happen"
Paige squeezes my hand "Don't worry it's just my police officer dad and your military dad we have to deal with" she says laughing.
"How can you be not worried Paige we are going to be in big trouble" she just shrugs
"I don't know maybe because I had an amazing time with you and nothing can bring me down" I smile at her answer
"I had a great time with you too" I give her a quick kiss and we both head inside.

We walk inside Spencer house and everyone is sitting in her living room. "Hey everybody" I said as calm as possible.
My parents got up "Sweetie we missed you so much" my dad says to me while giving me a hug then my mom takes her turn of welcoming me home.
Then everything goes downhill
"How dare you drive my daughter to God knows where" Emily mom says to me.
Causing Emily to step in between me and her mother.
"Mother stop she didn't do anything wrong" her mom is now looking at Emily.
"Emily stay out of this I will deal with you later"
I see Spencer across the room shaking her head at me.
"No mom I'm tired of you treating me like a child maybe if you would stop pressuring I wouldn't had ran away"
That statement made Emily's mom angry "YOU GET IN THE CAR NOW YOUNG LADY" my dad was trying to step in but my mom stops him.
"Why mom our house is just down the street" Emily yells her face is turning red at this point I was just about to calm Emily down when some girl out of nowhere.
Grabs her hand and Emily calms down. I look at Spencer trying to find out who this girl was but she mouths out 'I don't know'
"It's ok Emily" the random girl says to her causing all the angry inside of me to build up. That girl been holding Emily hand for a long time now.
"I think we should be leaving now" my dad announces and shakes Emily's dad hand and walks out. "Paige aren't you coming too" my dad ask me in a tone that mean you better come with us.
I nod and look at Emily but she not looking at me or the girl holding her hand she is just looking at the ground.
I don't really trust that girl she is with.

We leave Spencer's house right after Paige left.
I can't believe Maya held my hand in front of Paige.
I did catch Paige looking at me but I couldn't look in her eyes. I still haven't talked to Maya the whole ride home which was about 2 min since like I said we live just up the street.
We didn't even get to a complete stop yet until I open the car door and walked into the house. Going straight to my room and shutting the door. As soon as I laid on my bed I started crying.

As soon as we get home I can feel the tension building up from my father.
"Paige what gotten into you why would you leave like that" my dad asks me while I go in the kitchen to get some water.
"Dad I tried to tell mom but she got a phone call" I answer back causing my mom to look at me in disbelief,
"That had nothing to do with you leaving for some road trip with that Emily girl" my mom says to us.
"Mom I helped a friend she needed to get away"
My parents just look at each other. "I understand that Paige but there are other ways instead of leaving the city" I nod in agreement.
"How did you eat and sleep" my mom asks.
"I used the money I saved up from work" I answer proudly knowing my mother hates it when I work.
"So you and Emily slept together" my mom asks causing me to choke on my water and my dad clearing his throat.
"Yeah I mean no we did we shared a room" I manage to say avoiding eye contact. My dad sits down
"We all need to talk about some things as a family" my dad says
"Everyone sit down" My dad clears his throat "we will sit here all day until everything is cleared up no more secrets" at my dad response my heart starts to beat.

I don't know but every time I cry I always fall asleep it's weird. I look and see that I'm just in my undershirt and not my blouse I had on when I got here.
"I toke off your shirt because when I checked on you it was soak and wet and know you were a heavy sleeper so I just toke it off" Mya says while I process she is in my room my new room not the one in Virginia.
I just look at her because I don't know what to say I still haven't spoke to her since I got here.
"What's wrong Emily you haven't talked to me at all" Maya says leaving the chair she was sitting in to sit on the edge of my bed.
"Are you upset I'm here" she asks with a frown.
"NO MAYA I'm not it's just crazy how you are here" I say to her causing her to laugh
"Well you know me crazy" I smile and nod. We just sit there in silence "SO how's the Sharks doing" I ask Maya she smiles and shakes her head
"They are doing terrible without you they haven't won a match since you left" my heart drops at the bad news about my old swim team. "I really miss the pool" Maya nods in agreement.
"I really miss watching you in the pool" my heart starts to race at the turn of the conversation. "Uhh yeah I do too" I say back. *Wow great choice of words Emily* I think to myself.
"Do you" she asks very excited causing me to feel bad. "I mean yeah you were my good luck charm" I say honestly.
Maya excitement dies down "Were" she says disappointed. "Maya it's not like that it's just"
Maya just gets up "I know Emily" I get up out of the bed
"Maya Wait it came out wrong" she just turn from the door and says
" I know Emily I heard that from you before" and walks out of my room.
(Paige)
"So you are telling me that my wife been helping blacks votes behind my back" my dad yells out causing my mom to flinch.
"Honey I couldn't tell you the organization said it wouldn't be a good idea since you are a cop" my mom says making me think about how she has a point.
"Everything makes since now you running off all the time getting phone calls" my dad says all angry.
"I thought you as my husband would understand why I did this" my dad then calms down and think about what to say
"I do it's just you are putting our family in danger I mean you are"
I really feel bad for my mom because she can see that my dad is disappointed in her.
"I know but I need to do my part in this" my dad temper then goes back
"Do your part this isn't a war" my mom then stands up
"It's bigger than a war it's rights as a human being" she says walking out of the house.
My dad puts his hand on his face "Great we have another runaway" I awkwardly ask to go upstairs to unpack and my dad just nods.

I just finished taking a shower because I felt a little sick. I put on my clothes and I hear Maya and my mom talking. I walk closer to the stairs to hear their conversation.
MOM: Have you tried talking to her
MAYA: Not really she look a little not well
MOM: She always gets sick when she is stress it's that Paige girl
MAYA: The girl she went on that trip with?
MOM: Yes ever since we moved here Emily and her been hanging out all the time
MAYA: What's so bad about that do you want her to have friends?
MOM: Yes I do it's just something about their relationship is little strange
MAYA: What do you mean strange?
I couldn't have my mom finfish whatever she had to say so I head down stairs quickly.
"Hello everyone" I say while they look and me like they were not just talking about me.
"Hello Emily" my mom says and walking into the kitchen leaving Maya and I alone in the living room. We stand there in silence
"Maya I'm sorry really it's just my mom really" she cuts me off "I know Emily you don't need to explain" she walks towards me and grabs my hand
"I know you Emily" I look in her eye and nod because clearly I couldn't say anything. I pull away see the hurt in her eyes
"I think we should help my mom set the table for dinner.

Its 7:00 now and I'm counting the money I still have left from the trip. It was still a lot but not as much as I had before. I put my money back to my safe then I hear a tap on my window.
I walk to my window and see that it's Toby. I go downstairs to let him in since my dad isn't home because he went looking for my mom she still haven't come home yet.
Toby and I walk to my room I sit down at my desk facing him "Why are you here Toby" I ask with my arms crossed I still a little mad about his behavior lately but Spencer told me she would talk to him.
"Paige I miss you" he says while picking up a picture of us on my shelf.
"I missed you too Toby but that still doesn't mean what you did was called for" I state calmly.
Toby then huffs "I tried to apologize to Emily we were supposed to stay after school to clean up but she didn't show up me knowing the reason now"
I didn't know Toby and Emily had cleanup duty just thought they didn't get punished from their fight in school.
"Is Emily going to get in trouble for skipping" I ask which makes Toby laugh
"Shouldn't you be worried about trouble for skipping" he says making me think about it. We missed Thursday and Friday from school.
Toby then smiles and says
" I talked to the principle and told them you both were sick don't worry"
I look at Toby "Really you didn't have too" I say giving him a hug.
"I know it's just I been thinking I want you happy and if Emily makes you happy then I should be too"
Tears are getting on Toby shirt but I don't care.
"I'm so sorry I hurt you Paige and when Spencer told me you ran away I thought it was all my fault"
I wipe the tears off my face "It wasn't your fought I mean if you Emily and you didn't fight she might not have left"
Toby then looks at me in shock but I laugh "I'm kidding" he laughs in relief
"It was her mom yelling at her because she was in a fight" Toby then stops laughing. I give Toby a hug
" it's ok Toby we are fine now".
Toby then smiles "I kind of mad at you" he says causing me to look at him in disbelief
"why" I ask
Toby then spins around "Because the Birthday girl didn't get her birthday party celebration" I laugh
"Toby one time I miss my birthday party won't hurt anyone.
Toby then shakes his head "Spencer and I felt so bad that we bought a cake and wished you a happy birthday in spirt" my heart drops "Aww you guys didn't have too" Toby laughs
"We did and that still wasn't enough tomorrow you have a surprise party" my mouth drops "NO TOBY you didn't" he smiles "We did and Emily is invited too".

Dinner was awkward as ever no one talked but Maya and my mom.
"Hey how about I go get you all some desert" my dad says seeing the mood on my face
"Pam you should come for the ride" my mom nods and gets her coat.
Leaving Maya and I at the dinner table while we hear the door shut. I'm looking at my plate trying see how interesting these peas look.
Then I hear the phone ring I get up to get the phone but Maya gets up "I got it Emily finish you food" I stay put giving me more time to collect my thoughts
Maya: Hello Fields home
Paige: Umm Is Emily there
Maya: She is eating dinner
Paige: Can I ask who is speaking
Maya: I'm Maya Emily's friend
Paige: Oh Hi Maya can you tell Emily that she can come to my birthday party tomorrow at 2
Maya: Yeah sure
Paige: How long are you going to be staying with Emily
Maya: I think for 2 more days
Paige: O in that case you can come too
Maya: That's nice but I don't want to ruin your fun
Paige: NO COME I want to hear some embarrassing stories about the Emily
Maya: Haha in that case I think we will be there all day
Paige: Great see you soon
Maya: You too thank you
Maya comes back to the table "Your friend Paige called she said we could come to her birthday party tomorrow.
My girlfriend and the girl I gave a broken heart to in the same room this can't be good.
"I don't think we should go" I say making Maya frown
"Why not isn't she your friend and all" I get up from the table and start washing the dishes
"I don't think my parent will like it" I say
While Maya sits on the counter near me
"Don't worry I can talk them into it you know I have that effect on people" she says making me roll my eyes. Which makes Maya laugh while throwing some of the soap bubble from the sink on me.
"MAYA WHAT IN THE WORLD" I yell out making her keep throwing more on me. I grab some of the dish soap and throw it on her "EMILY STOP"
I laugh "Yeah it's not funny anymore" Maya tries grabbing the dish soap from my hand but the soap goes all over the floor.
Causing Maya to slip
"Are you Ok" I ask by kneeling down by her side.
She looks at me confused she hit her head really hard.
"Emily I don't think I'm going to make it" I smile
"Really how long do you think you have left?"
She then coughs "I think 1 minute" why would she say one minute
Next thing I know she pulled me on top of her.
"MAYA WHAT IS YOUR PROB…" her hand brushes the hair off my face.
I turn away at her touch "Emily look at me" she says
Causing me to look at her "I missed you and I knew it was going to be hard but everywhere I go I think about you"
"I know Maya I missed you too" I see a smile on her face I decide it would be best if I get up.
I'm on my feet and offer my hand for Maya to help her off the ground.
"We have to clean this mess up" I say but Maya just walks up the stairs
"It's your house not mines" I start laughing "ok then don't try sneaking in my room when you get scarred"
Maya laughs "why would I get scarred" then we hear thunder which make Maya jump
"Haha that's why"
I spaced this chapter out some more to make it easier for you all to read. I finally understand what you guys meant when you said spaced out. Sorry I didn't catch on before but now it's going to be different. Paige,Maya,and Emily are going to be in the same room at Paige's party. Things are going to get crazy did I forget to mention Sean going to be there too?
