KAM000: Okay, so this chapter I am going to introduce a new character!
Akai4Ever: Hi!
KAM000: So, this is the "twin brother" of A-shu, and they decided to switch places temporarily, in order to fulfil Akai4Ever's fanboy wishes.
Heijji: Please tell me he isn't as annoying as his brother.
A-shu: Shut up!
KAM000: Anyways, since I am too lazy to type up Akai4Ever every freaking single time Akai4Ever talks, I will give him a nickname. Much like A-shu. Let me think…
Akai4Ever: Ooh! Ooh! I know! Akai4Ever!
Haibara: Apparently, instead of annoying he's stupid.
Ayumi: We could call him Aver!
(Everyone looks at them) KAM000: As in the A from Akai and Ver from Ever?
(Ayumi nods her head)
KAM000: Everyone, welcome our newest player in this fanfiction game my Neechan and I like to call E.K.C! AVER!
Haibara: Aver sounds like a girl.
KAM000: You never can be satisfied, can you?
Chapter 21: Imaginary Money
"What are you doing," I asked, looking at the sneaky (trying to be at least) Aver who looks like a black-haired Naruto.
"Definitely NOT letting Vermouth out so we can humiliate Gin…"
"AVER! That is against the law!" I looked at him for a bit and realized, "What the shiz, it's a fanfiction. Do whatever you want!"
His eyes lit up, and I knew I had to shut down the idea that was likely forming in his head. "No, you cannot ride my unicorn."
"You have a unicorn?"
"Yes, but I'd rather not talk about it. Anywho, how do you plan to embarrass Gin?"
So we did a group huddle and he gave me his ideas, including how Vermouth applies to any of this.
Meanwhile, since one of my readers requested more ShinxRan (but mostly because I can't think of how we're supposed to embarrass Gin), here will be a completely OOC and bizarrely romantic chapter.
Psych! And you thought I'd be like that. I will have ShinxRan, but it will be...well, to say the least, bizarre.
Conan had a small chance of surviving the antidote, but we all know that. So this came to no surprise that everyone told him to either not risk it, or carpe diem. But in my opinion, you can't carpe diem(which for all the numbskulls out there it means "seize the day") if you're dead. Of course this is my opinion, and who really listens to my logic in the first place?
So he decided he would carpe diem and take the antidote. Mind you he will likely die. Ran was fully aware of this, and told him "No! I won't let you! After all that waiting I did, now you're gonna let me watch you die?!" Also keep in mind that she didn't have to wait in the first place to be with him; she did everything from bathe with him to sleep with him, all before he even went through puberty :)
To make a sort-of-not-really compromise, he took her out on a date the night before he was to take the antidote.
They went out to a sushi bar and talked, mostly about the series of recent events. He didn't really have to tell her what and why he couldn't tell her all those episodes, because she already saw it on my computer(or as my friend Pelkey calls it, "compooper"). But her told her anyway.
"I didn't mean to make you wait. I wanted to tell you so much. But I couldn't. I didn't want you to get hurt."
"One thing I don't understand is how you were willing to let your parents get into it but not me."
"Well...given the circumstances I sort of HAD to let them in on things."
"Oh. Okay…" They were silent for a minute.
"What's going on," Ayumi shouted, trying to take the binoculars from Mitsuhiko. "Let me see!"
Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi were hiding behind a bush. Watching the whole thing. "I'm hungry," Genta moaned. "Why are we doing this again?"
"Because," Mitsuhiko replied, handing the binoculars to Ayumi. "KAM-san paid us to do it."
"Where's the money?"
"She said she'd pay us as soon as we told her all that we saw. KAM-san also said that if we had video she'd pay us double."
"So then where's the video camera?"
Mitsuhiko looked to Ayumi. "Did you bring it?"
"Sh! Sh! I'm watching this," Ayumi scolded. She watched as they calmly ate sushi, and discussed the endeavor they were about to attempt the following morning. Although they couldn't hear it, I have a feeling(and even if it's not correct, I'm the writer so I can say whatever the flip I want) that Ran was still trying to convince Conan/Kudo-dono not to go through with his plan.
When they came back to me with what they had seen, I placed slapped Mitsuhiko's begging hands and walked off. "There. Thirty yen. Ten for each of you."
They were too busy wondering how I had gotten money to begin with when I am too young to have a job that by the time they realize that it was really thirty IMAGINARY yen I was already gone.
