I am so glad to be typing this right now. Last weekend, my flash drive stopped working. As in, it it will not open or read any of my saved files. I nearly lost all of the work I did for this story and all my other future ones as well. Luckily, my dad managed to save some of the files I had on it so I can continue writing. Thank God. I also had no time to work on this until like, this week so once again I apologize for another delay in chapters.

Anyway, this is going to be another dialogue chapter. I know. Yawn. This may be the last one for a while because I'm planning to go to Topaz's view for another chapter or two before switching back to Moon and battles. Just hang in there.

After leaving the school behind them, the group of six made their way down the streets of town to Ichigo's house. Although Rangiku insisted on leading the way, which ended up with them getting lost on more than one occasion. When they eventually arrived at the Kurosaki Clinic, yelling could be heard from inside.

"So what do we knock?" Moon asked as they all just stood there outside the house. The voices got louder which only assumed that Ichigo's dad, Isshin, had gotten involved somehow.

Rangiku suddenly gasped. "I have an idea!" Somehow, everyone, except Captain Hitsugaya, all ended up breaking their way in through the ceiling and hiding above the light fixture in Ichigo's room.

"How the hell did you convince us to do this again?" Ikkaku asked sending a small glare at the large chested girl.

"We could have used the door you know." Renji added as he shifted in the small space.

"OW! Watch where your feathers go Yumichika. They nearly poked my eye out." Moon complained as her eye shut tight to keep the feathers out.

"Then don't be so close." He replied with a sigh.

Moon nearly growled at the man. "It's not my fault this place is so cramped." After a few more moments of shuffling, everyone seemed to get into a position that didn't bother them too much as they waited for Isshin and Ichigo to stop screaming at each other. It didn't take much longer for the man-child to leave with his ass kicked by his son. Moon could hear muffled voices through the floor/roof but she had no idea what they were saying.

Renji appeared to hear them just fine as he suddenly spoke up, speaking loudly so those below them could hear. "Just a second."

Ichigo's muffled voice sounded from below, this time somewhat clearer so Moon could catch what was being said. "I know that voice. Renji? Are you there?"

With a smirk, Renji replied as he began to push against the light cover. "If you want to know about the Arrancars just hang on. We'll tell you all about it." With that, the cover gave way allowing them to poke their heads out from the ceiling to see Ichigo's stunned face. Each one then dropped down from their hiding space onto the bed or landing on the floor, which was in Renji's case causing him to break the light cover. "Hey Ichigo. It's been a while…or maybe not."

The orange haired boy let out a frustrated growl. "You jerks. What the hell? Did you forget how to use a damn door?"

"I told them we should have just knocked but I have to admit, that way was more fun than just going through the door." Moon said as she dropped down onto the bed.

Rangiku gave a smile when Ikkaku stuck his head down. "If you need a new light bulb here you go." She laughed.

"That was stupid." The bald man told her firmly. His reply was a simple slap to the head causing him to fall out of their former hiding spot and land on the ground with a crash.

"Now that's no way to great old friends. I'm hoping we'll have some fun here." Rangiku said as she turned back towards Ichigo.

An orange blur suddenly sprang up from the floor and launched itself at Ranguki while shouting something about her buttons being too tight. The plush was silenced when the berry haired woman just shot out her fist allowing him to ram into it, effectively knocking him out.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that pervert. Moon thought to herself as she just stared at the knocked out stuffed animal/mod soul.

"Has the toy lost its mind?"

"No. He's always like that."

After everyone settled down somewhat, Renji began to explain to Ichigo about the Arrancars. While he did this, Moon was lost in her own thoughts. She had heard the story when they were getting their gigais. She was wondering just how powerful they really were. She hardly knew of their strength herself as she wasn't there yet. Was Topaz really safe in Hueco Mundo with all of those hollows? Was she being tortured as they just sit here and wait to for them to attack again? She'd have to ask Ichigo if he knew anything when she had the chance.

"-Rukia was chosen because she's the one who knows you best." Renji was explaining when Moon zoned back in.

"Not true. I was chosen cause of my abilities." She retorted.

Renji ignored her outburst and continued. "There weren't many officers to choose from. I was closer to Rukia than most so they chose me. And Moon was chosen due to her being in town before the invasion. After that, I was told to pick outside the captain class, who I most trusted to fight by my side so that's why I asked Ikkaku to accompany me. Then Yumichika told me that he wanted to come and when Rangiku heard about it she said it sounded interesting so she wanted in too. But then Yumichika said he wouldn't come if Rangiku was coming and Rangiku swore she'd kill us both if we left without her. So in the end, Captain Hitsugaya had to come along just to supervise the two of them. And here we are." He finished.

Ichigo was quiet for a few moments before speaking. "Is this a mission or a party?"

The window then opened up allowing the missing person from their group to appear. "In any case, we're not sure why but Aizen has his eye on you Ichigo Kurosaki and that's not good."

"Hey Captain Hitsugaya you should have come down through the roof with us. We didn't do that much damage after all." Rangiku told her captain proudly.

"Have you been out on the window ledge all this time? In plain sight? What if the neighbors report a silver haired elementary student burglar?"

"Shut up!" yelled the now ticked off Toshiro. Moon silently hid the chuckle that was building in her at the short captain being called a kid. He then went on to explain the classification of hollows and how they were more of a threat against the Soul Society. After he finished explaining it was silent once again.

"Hey Ichigo.' Heads turned towards Moon, who had been too quiet during the last few minutes. 'I was wondering something. When you faced those two Arrancars the other day, did they mention anything about Topaz? Anything at all? Even something small like if she's still alive or not."

Ichigo was silent which had Moon holding her breath. "She's fine." He finally said. "They didn't say her name but they did mention a soul reaper back where they came from. I didn't make the connection at the time, but I figure it was Topaz they were talking about."

Moon gave him a nod in thanks before pulling her legs to her chest and resting her chin on her knees. "Thank God. You're still safe Topaz."

Achoo

The black haired girl sneezed, breaking the silence that she was in.

"That was random. You got a cold or something?" The person next to her asked.

"It's fine.' Topaz sniffed. 'Someone must be talking about me."

Topaz was then pulled against the other person and she felt a growl vibrate in his chest. "Better not be something bad or anyone showing interest in you. I'll kill them myself."

Topaz laughed. "You are so possessive. I can have guy friends you know."

The guy scoffed. "Yeah yeah. As long as they know you're my woman I'll be fine with that."

His words caused Topaz to giggle. "You're serious about that aren't you?"

Smirking, the guy pulled her tighter against him. "Of course I am. I have claimed you as mine after all."

Back in the World of the Living, Rangiku and Renji were over Kon's body examining the soul pill that was recently taken from his body.

"Hey. Any ideas when you're going to leave?" Ichigo asked, annoyed that the soul reapers were simply waiting around in his room.

Renji turned to face him while stuffing the soul back into Kon's plush body. "What do you mean Ichigo? We're not going to go home. We're staying here until our fights with the Arrancars are done. No one leaves until then."

"Y-you'll be staying? But where the hell are you all planning on sleeping? Let me make this perfectly clear, we don't have enough space for you to stay here." Ichigo told them all.

"Ahh. You don't me do you?" Rangiku asked batting her eyelashes at the boy.

"Yikes! What the hell! No way. You gotta be kidding me. You're the last person I'd let stay here. What makes you think I would in the first place?" Ichigo yelled.

Rangiku simply blinked then brought her hands up to the buttons of her shirt. "GAH! What do you think you're doing? You can't change my mind by undoing a button." Not a few seconds later his hands slapped over his eyes. "Not even if you lift your skirt a little. Damn it! I will not give into temptation. A man like me doesn't give into temptation!"

"Really? Then why are you peaking through your fingers?" Rukia pointed out.

"Well, for now I'll be Orihime's guest and sleep in her bed." Rangiku told the group when they were preparing to leave for the night.

"What do you mean?" Ichigo wondered. "Did you already get her permission?"

"There isn't any rush. She's the kind of girl who doesn't know how to say no." She replied. She quickly slammed the incoming Kon into the ground before turning to Toshiro. "Captain, how'd you like to come?"

"No way I won't." He told her before he began to walk in the other direction.

The berry haired woman followed behind him. "You should come. It'll be fun."

"For you maybe." The captain said slightly irked.

"We better get going as well." Ikkaku said with Yumichika at his side.

"You have somewhere to go?" Ichigo asked them.

"Of course I don't.' Ikkaku sighed. 'There's no need to worry. Last thing I'd do is you. I'll find a place to stay on my own." With that, the two men began walking down the neighborhood.

"I'm going to be heading back to Urahara's place. I got all my stuff there from before and hopefully he didn't touch anything." Moon said as she began to walk away from the remaining three people.

"Mind if I tag along? There's something I want to ask him." Renji asked the white haired girl.

Moon shrugged. "The more the merrier I guess. But if you're going to mooch off of him expect to be worked to the bone." She told him as they walked.

Most of the walk was in silence. A few blocks away from the shop, Renji finally spoke. "I was wondering about something. That girl you were with before, Topaz, why would she sacrifice herself to save you from getting caught in the negacion?"

Moon's silver eyes closed in thought for a few moments before opening as sighed. "That's just how she is. She may not seem like it, but she can be bit of a wimp at times. But when it comes to protecting those in need, she's like an entirely different person. Knowing her, she didn't even think of the consequences when she pushed me out of the way."

The silver haired girl looked at the red head. "You know, ever since we became soul reapers she's constantly pushed herself to be a stronger person not just in physical strength. Between the two of us, she was the one who came up with most of our battle strategies and I just followed her lead and at times needed saving from hollows. Of course it's bad that she's not here with me but now, it'll be my turn to help her out." With that, she sped up her walking speed to the shop that appeared in the distance.

Renji stared ahead as Moon was approaching the shop. He hardly knew the girl even though the two of them had been training together for a while now. He had hardly heard her friends name since Aizen left the Soul Society. The girl was heartbroken for a short time before she began to push herself in training herself to be stronger and now he understood why. He saw iron hard will in her eyes when she talked about saving Topaz and he felt that if she kept at it, and was lucky, she could actually accomplish what she wished and save her.

"Ah Renji Abarai. I was told you were coming." Urahara's voice broke him from his thoughts as he came close to the store.

"I'm going to head in. My room's still where it should be right?" Moon asked the hat wearing man before turning and going into the shop. "Don't worry. I'll be up early tomorrow to work out here." She called behind her as she walked in.

Walking through the familiar hallways made Moon feel like she was home from school. Each step seemed to make her feet heavy and she wanted nothing more than to curl up on her bed and sleep for as long as she could. She smiled as she entered her room and closed the door behind her. She and Topaz shared a room so space was somewhat cramped but she didn't mind. The room was nothing special. Two beds and dressers along with a conjoined bathroom. It was simple but she loved it, not as much as her room back home though. Quickly changing into a black tee shirt and grey sweatpants, she flopped down on the bed and closed her eyes as she allowed herself to rest.

There we go! I was up later than usual working on this tonight but I don't care. I was in a writing mood so why the hell not finish this. We get to see a bit of what Renji thought of Moon, that moocher. Haha. And who is with Topaz? I think we all know. If you don't, then you'll have to wait and see.
