Usually, days off from school meant relaxation and resting. With the whole police investigation still going on at the school, the school was shut down until further notice. Today marked the first day it was closed for this very reason. Monday, November 3rd. It was an unusually hot day, and what could be better than spending it doing… chores. Not just any chore, but the perfect chore for this time of day. The painstaking task of cutting grass. There could only be one man for the job. His hair was growing slightly now. It was sort of wavy and long in the back. He was cursing under his breath during the entire process.

"Leati! When you're done, be sure to put the lawnmower back in the garage. Then come back inside so you can help your mother."

"Alright! Jesus Christ." Joe was so upset with having to cut grass on a day off. He would have much rather spent the day with friends. He had not heard from Colby since they went to the prescient. He hoped that he was fine, but he would rather not bother. Joe kept pushing the lawnmower up and down the front lawn of his house. He felt something bother him in his leg, as if it were like a spasm. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his phone to see Alyssa calling him. He turned off the lawnmower and answered his phone, "Hello?"

"Hey, Joe! It's Alyssa. How are you?" She sounded so happy and energetic.

"Well, not the way I wanted to spend this day off, but I'm alright."

"Aww, what's wrong?"

"My parents have me doing all these chores around the house. Right now I'm mowing the lawn, but I needed a quick break anyways."

"Aww, poor thing, and it's so humid outside. Are you almost done?" Alyssa seemed really eager to get a good response from Joe.

"Well, after I'm done with this, I have to go back inside to see what else I have to do."

"Oh," Alyssa said a little disappointed, "Well, if you finish, give me a call back. I'd, um… love to hang out with you. You know… something other than studying." Joe couldn't help but smile. He knew Alyssa liked him. Quite frankly, he found her cute, too. Instead of keeping his mind on everything that had been happening, he wanted to do what was right for himself.

"You know what? I think I can get out of these chores early."

"Really?" Alyssa said with glee.

"Yeah. I'll pick you up at around twelve."

"I'll be ready."

"And I'll be there. See you soon."

"Bye." The call ended. Joe knew what he was doing could get him into some major trouble, but he did not seem to care. He wanted to be happy. He didn't want to deal with so many stressful situations. The only way to do so was to be sneaky. He finished mowing the lawn, and returned the mower to its rightful place. When he re-entered the house, he heard a call from the kitchen, "Joe, can you help me in here please?" Knowing how his mom was, she could not stand if Joe was still dirty and sweaty from the work. He walked into the kitchen without worry, knowing what his mother would say to him.

"Need help?"

"Sweetie, you look terrible. I told your father that the grass could have waited. Go upstairs and shower. I'll be fine, but you have other things to do today." Joe ran up the stairs and headed into the bathroom. Now, all he had to worry about was getting out of the house without anyone noticing. Even if they did, at least he would already be gone.

After washing up, getting dressed and grabbing his essentials, Joe quietly made his way downstairs. He heard noises coming from the kitchen, so he knew his mom was still in there. He made is way out the front door without anyone noticing. He rushed over to his car as fast as he could. As he was about to open is door, a voice called to him, "Going somewhere, bro?"

Joe jumped and saw his brother, Matt, standing by his car, "Man, you scared the Hell out of me." Matt just smiled, "Well, then I'm doing my job right I guess." Joe stared at his older brother. He was a lot heftier than him, but still had a glowing personality, "Thought you were supposed to be in Washington?" Matt was a professional wrestler working in the WWE with his cousin, Eddie. Matt was on the road so often these days, he hardly had any time to spend with his family, but when he was home, him and Joe were always close, "I leave tomorrow. Where are you going?"

Joe was a little hesitant. He thought that if he told his brother where he was headed, he'd rat him out to his parents, "You can't tell mom or dad." Matt chuckled, almost not believing Joe would even ask such a thing, "Sure."

"I'm gonna meet with this girl. Take her to the mall or something." Matt just patted Joe on the back, "Now I'm definitely not gonna say anything." He handed Joe a fifty dollar bill with a big smile, "What's this for?" Joe asked. Matt smiled again. He knew Joe had always been home doing tedious chores for no apparent reason, "Have a good time."

"Bro, I don't need your money."

"Uce, take it. It's what brothers are for. That and blaming the other for things you did." Joe laughed and gave his brother a hug. He got in is car and drove off.

After driving for some time, he pulled in front of Alyssa's house. He honked the horn to let her know he was there. Alyssa ran out the house and eagerly approached the car.

"Hi," she said, "you look nice."

"Thanks, you too." Alyssa got in the car and the two drove off. Where they ended up, no one knows. It was all just for fun. Two friends who could have been something special overnight. Again, it's not clear as to where they went, or how much fun they had, but they did enjoy their night. That is, until Joe got a call…

A/N: Well, it's been a while. Now that I have some fillers out of the way, it's time to get back to the main story! First off, Who thinks Joe should be with Alyssa? Has he forgotten about Myra? And what does everyone think about the call he got? Chapter 22, COMIN' AT 'YA!

F/T: If you are not aware, Matt Anoa'i is Joe's brother. He worked in the WWE under the name Rosey. You know, Gangster turned Superhero? And his partner, Eddie, is none other than Eddie Fatu, the late Umaga.
