Hello guys! I welcome you to another chapter of Dragon Tail Z. First of all, would like to apologize for the long wait. The thing is that I open the document to type and I just stare blankly at the screen. This is probably the worst writer black I have ever had. Anyways, my final exams are done so I decided to finally update it now. More excuses at the end of the chapter D:
Anyways, I believe that covers everything I wanted to say. So let's get started shall we?

Trunks eyes slowly opened to be met by an unfamiliar ceiling. With a groan, he forced himself up of the bed that he was resting on with his entire body aching in pain.
"You're up huh?" said a voice next to Trunks as he looked to find Gohan floating in the air with his hands in an extended position and his eyes closed. Gohan slowly descended to the ground before standing up and looking at Trunks. "So how are you feeling?"
"Like I've been hit by a truck." He said as he examined the room while feeling his body out. His eyes stopped at the iron bars that was separating the room they were in from the rest.
"Are we in jail?" Trunks asked as Gohan nodded. "What the hell happened? Care to fill me in?" Trunks said in a curious tone.
"Maybe later, all you need to know is that we are under arrest and I thought that coming quietly would be a better idea than letting the guards and Fairy Tail fight." Gohan finished as Trunks chuckled.
"Yeah, that seems like something Fairy Tail will do. You didn't answer why we are here though" He asked.
Gohan shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine."
"So they took us here without explaining anything?" Trunks asked.
Gohan nodded. "So we just gave to wait for someone to show up and explain what we did." Finished Gohan.
Trunks got off his bed and made his way towards the steel bars. He grabbed it and slightly pushed it to the side. As Trunks expected the steel bent with his hand. He smiled and turned to Gohan "Or we could just break out of here and find out ourselves."
Gohan shook his head. "As much as I'd want to do that, we have to think about the kind of trouble we would be getting Fairy Tail and Lamia Scale in if we do that. We'll just have to wait."
"You won't be waiting for long." Trunks turned around to find two figures heading their way. Gohan immediately identified the one in the steel armor as the leader of their arrest. Next to him was a relatively shorter woman with short green hair.
"And you guys are?" asked Trunks with curiosity.
"My name is Hisui. I am responsible for the safety of my land. He's Arcadios, my guardian"
"You're the princess?" asked Gohan as Hisui nodded.
"In that case, why are we here? I don't believe that we did anything wrong." Asked Trunks
"Well you didn't but we would like to ask the two of you a few questions." Said Hisui.
"Go ahead, I still think that the arresting was uncalled for though." Trunks said
"I know but we're just being safe." Hisui said. "What are you wielding?" she asked.
"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Trunks
"We already know that you are not magic users but the power you displayed on stage was too huge for it to be purely physical strength. So what are you using as a source of power." Hisui explained.
Gohan and Trunks exchanged looks before nodding at each other. "You're right. We're not Magic users, we rely on Ki as our source of power."
Hisui gasped, "You're using your life force? Doesn't that shorten your life span?"
Gohan shook his head. "Not if you train on using Ki."
Hisui turned to Arcadios who was holding a paper in his hand. "Arcadios does that match what we were told?"
"Unfortunately, it is princess." Arcadios said.
"What's going on?" asked Trunks feeling the shift in mood.
"We've been warned of non-magic users with incredible power. They appear at the Grand Magic Games and decided to destroy the entirety of Earthland as their idea of fun." Hisui answered.
"That's bullshit, we aren't going to do that." Said Trunks defensively. "There has to be something wrong. Who told you that?"
"He was a famous physic with known around Earthland for the fact that he never made a wrong prediction." Hisui answered.
"If he's able to see the future get him here, he should be able to see if we resemble whatever he saw back then." Trunks ordered.
"Watch you tone, you br-" Arcadios began but was interrupted by Hisui.
"We would but he passed away a few days after making that prophecy." Hisui said.
"Passed away?" Gohan muttered.
"I think it was more of an assassination. He had a lot of enemies." Explained the princess.
"I assure we have no intention of destroying Earthland or even injuring anyone" Gohan finally decided to join in.
"I would but it's too risky to trust any of you." Hisui said
"We've been here for the last five days and we didn't even hurt a single person." Trunks said in desperation
"I'm sorry but that's not enough for us to trust you." She said in somewhat of a sad voice.
"As far as we know, this could be an act to get out of here and then start your plan. You could simply be the monsters we were warned about in disguise." Arcadios stated.
Something inside Trunks snapped as soon as he heard the world monsters. He remained silent for a few seconds. "You're the princess right?" he asked as Hisui responded with a confused nod.
Trunks immediately pulled the Iron bars off the wall and threw it to the side. Arcadios stood in front of the princess drawing his sword out as fast as he could.
"If we are actually planning on destroying Earthland, starting with the princess would be a good way to do so. We could have easily done that by now and you guardian here wouldn't be able to stop us." Trunks said.
"Why you little son of a bitch!" said Arcadios as he took a swing of his sword at Trunks. Without effort, Trunks stopped his sword with two fingers and smirked
"See, he wouldn't stand a chance" Trunks said. With a twist of his finger, Trunks managed to unarm Arcadios. "Yet we didn't try that throughout the entire little chat we had. Isn't that enough to prove that we mean nothing?" Gohan watched in silence as Trunks tried to talk some sense into the pair in front of them
"Very well," Princess Hisui said "I'll let you the both of you leave."
"Princess? You can't be serious. These two are too dangerous to leave them roaming around." Arcadios said
"I'll take full responsibility of anything that happens by the two of them." She replied looking at Arcadios "Under one condition." She finished as Gohan looked curiously.
"And that is?" Trunks asked.
"If the prophecy is true, we need your power to stop whatever is coming our way. We want you to help defend Earthland. I know it's not the best thing to ask for right after we accused you of –" The princess said before being interrupted by Gohan.
"You don't have to ask us. We would have joined the fight to defend Earthland without a second thought." Gohan said as Trunks nodded with a smile.
Princess Hisui sighed in relief. "Thank You." She said with a smile.
"Now we have a question of our own." Gohan said. Princess Hisui looked at the younger saiyan curiously.
"How did you guys know that we weren't using magic?" Gohan asked.
"We installed Magic sensors around the arena during your last fight." She simply stated as Gohan looked confused. "So that match was a set up?" Gohan asked.
The princess shook her head. "The match was a set up but we didn't interfere with the results of the vote." Gohan laughed. "I guess we attracted more attention than we would have wanted. Right Trunks?" Gohan asked as the princess smiled at the cheerfulness of the twelve year old boy.
"That still doesn't answer the question I had in mind. Why us? Why did you suspect that we were the non-magic user? We haven't really reveal a lot before our match." Trunks asked.
"We got a message from Jiemma telling us that you guys are non-magic user." The princess said.
"Jiemma? Isn't that Sabertooth's master? Why would he do that?" Gohan asked.
"He could be trying to thin out the competition." Hisui suggested.
"I know why he did that." Said Trunks all eyes in the room looked at him as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
"I may or may not have embarrassed him in front of his guild a few days ago." Trunks said.
"What did you do?" asked Arcadios.
"I knocked him out in one attack in front of the guild members." Trunks repeated.
"Why would you do that?" Asked Hisui in awe.
"I had to save Yukino from there." He replied. "Why would you do that? Isn't she a member there?" asked Hisui.
"They were going to punish her for losing in the games. I had to step in besides she was kicked out of the guild before I saved her." Trunks defended.
Hisui smiled as she shook her head. "You guys look hungry, we'll get you something to eat since it I don't think you've had any from the morning."
"Yeah, I'm starving." Gohan said as Trunks smiled.
"Yeah, that would be nice." Trunks said.
"Go ahead, we'll tell the guard to get a meal for you. Before that, you might want to get your sword from that room." Hisui said pointing to a nearby room. Trunks and Gohan nodded as they went towards the room to retrieve their belongings.
"Princess, do you think they're trustworthy?" asked Arcadios as the princess looked at the room they were in.
"Yes, I do." She answered as Arcadios nodded.
In a few seconds, both of the demi-saiyans made it out of the room. "Let's go now. I'll lead the way. Try and not get lost." Hisui said as she led the saiyans outside of the room.

The third day of the games came to an end and the Fairy Tail members gathered around in the Sun Bar.
"I can't believe you let them take Gohan and Trunks." Said Natsu.
"Calm down flame breath, you've seen how strong they are, if there is any danger they'll fight their way out of it easily." Said Gray.
"I have to agree with Gray, these two looked invincible during the fight they had. So it's better to not get into trouble for no reason." Said Erza sitting next to Gray.
"Wendy, you think we should have stopped them from taking Gohan right?" said Natsu hoping to get one person on his side. However Wendy wasn't focusing on Natsu, instead she stared outside of the window watching the sunset.
"Wendy?" Natsu repeated and failed once again to catch the attention of the youngest dragon slayer.
"Wendy, focus." Charles said nudging her slightly to the side, snapping her out of her daze.
"What?" she asked as she looked around realizing that she Natsu was talking to her. "I'm so sorry Natsu, I must have zoned off." She apologized immediately.
"Do you think we should have stopped the arrest of Gohan and Trunks?" Lucy repeated.
"I don't think it would have mattered anyways, Gohan is the one who made the decision. Besides, I'm pretty sure Gohan didn't do anything, so he'll be back in no time. He told me so." Wendy said with a smile.
"See, now drop the subject, Flame Brain" Gray said in an annoyed tone.
"Why you little" Natsu said as he jumped on Gray.
"Is that why Wendy was staring out of the window? Juvia think Wendy is waiting for Gohan." Juvia said as she ignored the ongoing fight between Natsu and Gray seeing that Erza was already moving to split them up.
Wendy shyly nodded "He promised me he'll be back soon. I know it's kind of early for him to come back though."
"He does look like the type of guy to keep his promises." Said Lucy as Wendy nodded in agreement.
Almost immediately a figure crashed from the room and was slammed through the table at the other side of the bar.
The Fairy Tail guild members rushed trying to figure out who it was.
A familiar purple haired teen pushed the remaining of the table from above of him as Trunks stood up. He looked through the hole on the roof and shouted "That's not fair! We already said no powering up"
Gohan landed through the same opening with a golden aura and hair before powering down. "Well, it doesn't matter. I won. Now you'll do the explanation." Gohan said as he turned to the guild members who were staring in awe.
"Speaking of explanations, you're up." Gohan patted Trunks on the back as he made his way towards Wendy.
"They're your guild. I have a guild of my own to explain what happened to!" exclaimed Trunks.
"Well you should have thought about that before you came up with that idea." Gohan shrugged as he sat in the chair in front of Wendy.
"Gohan? What's going on?" Wendy asked.
"Don't worry Trunks is going to explain everything." Gohan said with a smirk as Trunks sighed.
"Gather up, I have to make this quick." Trunks announced as he waited for everyone to clump together. He glared at Gohan one more time. His glare turned into a look of confusion as Gohan kept pointing for Trunks to turn around.
Turning around, Trunks looked at Mirajane who had this unnerving sweet smile on her face with a dark aura surrounding her. "Um, hello Mirajane? How are you?" He asked as backed away in fear.
"I'm good, I just can't wait to her you explanation." She said with the same smile on her face. "and it better be good." Trunks nodded frantically as Mirajane made her way to the rest of the guild members.
Trunks looked at everyone who were kind of eager to hear what has happened. "I don't know where to start from so you I'll take question first I guess."
Natsu was the first to jump in "What up with the whole blonde hair thing?"
"Oh, that was a Super Saiyan?" Trunks answered. "It's basically a form that gives saiyans increased power and speed."
"How big is that power boost?" asked Erza curiously.
"I believe it around 50 folds. I'm not exactly sure." Answered Trunks
"How do you achieve this form?" asked Gray.
"Well, there are two ways. You can either train to ascend to a Super Saiyan. On the other hand, it can come from pure desperation and emotions." He answered.
"Are there any other forms you have?" asked Erza once again.
"Well, there are no other forms that I know of stronger that a Super Saiyan. However, there are different levels of a Super Saiyan."
"Different levels?" muttered Lucy out loud
"Yeah, Gohan achieved the second level of Super Saiyan in his fight with Cell." Trunks said. All eyes turned to Gohan
"I did achieve it but I am unable to turn to it right now." Gohan shrugged.
"I guess you just need a bit more time to get used to it." Trunks answered.
"During the fight, I did try to transform into a Super Saiyan two but apparently mu body still can't handle it" Trunks said with an apologetic look aimed at Mirajane.
"I am more interested to what happened to you guys after beginning carried away by the guards." Asked Makarov.
"About that, we have a problem. I hope you guys are familiar with concept of Ki?" He asked as the group nodded.
"Gohan gave us a brief overview of it." Trunks sighed in relief. "That makes my explanation much easier. Apparently some kind of future teller predicted that Earthland would be destroyed by a non-magic user." Trunks continued.
"And you were the suspects?" asked Mirajane with a gasp. Trunks nodded.
"How did they know you are non-magic users?" asked Erza.
"They have set some kind of magic sensors in the field before our match." Trunks answered.
"So that match was a set up?" asked Wendy as Gohan nodded in front of her.
"What made you suspect you guys in particular? Before the fight today you haven't showed any signs of foreign power" asked Levy.
"Jiemma." Gohan answered from the other side of the room.
"Sabertooth's master? Why?" asked Mirajane.
"I think it has something to do with me breaking in and embarrassing him in front of his guild." Answered Trunks as Mirajane shook her head in disapproval.
"The only question that remains is how you guys got out?" asked Erza out loud.
"You guys didn't break out did you?" asked Cana.
"No we didn't. We didn't want to get you guys and Lamia Scale in trouble." Answered Gohan.
Trunks nodded in agreement. "We met Princess Hisui and convinced her that we mean no harm."
Gohan scoffed at the other side of the room.
Trunks, ignoring Gohan, continued. "However, there are a few things that we have to announce. First of all, Gohan and I can no longer participate in the games."
"Why in the word would the ask you to do that?" Natsu almost screamed.
"Something about this being a game for Mages and not non-magic users. Also, they still need to come up with a valid reason to explain our "arrest" so if Gohan and I can't exactly show up as nothing happened next day." Trunks explained.
"So does that mean that you and Gohan can't even be there to watch the games?" asked Lucy.
"Yeah, kinda." Trunks answered.
"Man that's lame." Said Gray.
Makarov sighed. "I guess nothing can be done. What else did they tell you?" asked Makarov.
"Well, we may have promised them that Gohan and I will help in fighting whatever is they are afraid is coming." Trunks said.
"Well, that mean we are all going to fight." Natsu smirking.
"Guys, I think it might be a bit too dangerous-" Gohan started before being cut off by Wendy.
"They are threating our world Gohan we have to fight." Wendy replied.
"Yeah, besides you guys are our friends now and we won't let our friends fight alone especially it can be considered our battles." said Erza. Gohan smiled and nodded in appreciation.
"Thank you" Gohan said.
Trunks smiled and looked at Mirajane who was looking at him back.
"That about everything you guys missed." Trunks announced as he made his way to Mirajane after receiving understanding nods from the guild members.
With Trunks
"Hey, Mira" Trunks said with a small smile.
"Don't think you are getting out of the hook so easily." Mirajane scolded. "What were you thinking?"
"Are you talking about the Sabertooth incident or the fight with Gohan?" asked Trunks.
"You're not making this any better." She sighed.
"You're not making this any easier" Trunks answered back.
"Humph," Mirjana closed her eyes and looked away. Trunk smiled at her childish behavior
"I know and I am really sorry for making you worry like that." Trunks said. "Last time, I promise."
Mirajane slowly turned back to Trunks and opened her eyes. "You promise?" Trunks nodded.
"Alright, then. Here, let me get you something to eat." Mirajane said as she dragged Trunks to the kitchen.
With Gohan
"I never got to ask how you are feeling." Wendy asked Gohan as she was sitting with Charles and Lisanna.
Gohan smiled in reply "I've never felt better you don't have to worry about me."
"I know but I just can't help it." Said Wendy with a light blush.
"Wendy here just kept staring out the window waiting for you to return" Charla said.
Wendy blush got even deeper as Gohan raised his eyes curiously. "Why is that?"
Lisanna sighed. "Sometimes you and Trunks are denser that Natsu" she said.
Wendy waved her hand frantically, "Let's just change the subject."
Gohan, looking at her in confusion, agreed to what Wendy has said. "So who is going to replace me?"
"Oh you don't know?" said Wendy.
"Know what?" Gohan asked curiously.
"We were punished by removing one team. We need to form one team that will continue from the same number of points as the lowest team." Explained Charla.
"Really?" Gohan asked in a sad and disappointed tone. Wendy nodded as an answer.
"It's all my fault. I'm sorry." Gohan said
"Why is it your fault?" Lisanna asked curiously.
"If I had better control on myself, maybe we wouldn't have been punished that hard." Gohan muttered.
"Gohan it isn't your fault." Wendy assured
"Wendy is right. You didn't do anything that we would blame you for. We just have to win the competition tomorrow and I know we can do it. Besides we're fielding Natsu, Erza, Gajeel, Laxus and Gray tomorrow. So we still have a chance of straight out winning the games tomorrow." Argued Lisanna.
Gohan nodded. "Well, I'm starving. How about some food?" Gohan asked with a smile.
"I think Mira is already in the kitchen. Let's see if she can get something for you." Lisanna said as she led the duo towards the kitchen. However, hey were met with Trunks and Mirajane leaving it.
"Thanks for the food Mira." He said as he stretched.
"I won't be competing tomorrow so you can always drop by for some more." She offered.
"I'll keep that in mind. But I have to go now. I don't want to keep the guys from Lamia Scale waiting" Trunks replied with a smile.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Trunks heard someone shout from the entrance of the bar.
"Chelia?" Trunks asked in a surprised tone.
"What are you doing here?" She asked in an angry tone as she made her way to him.
"What are you doing here?" Trunks asked back.
"Master sent me to ask Master Makarov if he knew anything about where you and Gohan are." She fumed. "But apparently you are here!"
"Calm down, Chelia. He just got here a few minutes ago." Wendy said trying to calm down her new friend.
Chelia sighed. "Well, you are about to get an earful from my Sherry as soon as you're back."
Trunks gulped. "On second thoughts, maybe staying here for a little while won't hurt."
"No way buddy, you aren't getting out of this one." Chelia said as she grabbed Trunks by the arm and tried to pull Trunks who was standing there lighting sheepishly.
"See you around." Trunks said as he finally allowed Chelia to drag him out of the bar.
Gohan laughed as he turned to Mirajane who was giggling. "So Gohan do you want anything from me?"
"Well, Wendy and Gohan were hungry and they were hoping you could set something up for them." Lisanna answered for Gohan.
"Sure. Follow me." Mirajane said as she made her way back to the kitchen.
With Trunks
"What were you doing there?" Asked Chelia as soon as she was outside of the bar.
"I lost a bet to Gohan and I had to explain what happened to his guild." Answered Trunks as he regained his composure.
"So can you tell me?" Chelia asked.
"Sure, we do have the time." Trunks answered.
"Awesome! I want everything from the beginning." Chelia said as Trunks sighed. With a smile, he retold the story one more time to Chelia.
Author's note: I'm really sorry for not updating for the last 5 months. I know it is annoying trying to cope with the irregular and infrequent update schedule but I am trying my best. For the past 5 months, I had no motivation to write the new chapter. I felt I was stuck in a really bad spot where I had no idea what to write next along with having zero motivation. However, I just watched the Dragon Ball Super episode 47 and that somehow undid whatever motivation issues that I faced.
Once again, I will try to update regular but it will be difficult but at least I can assure you it won't be 5 months till the next chapter.
