Steve couldn't help but think how adorable Tony looks like when he's angry.

"What the hell Steve?!" Tony yelled after recovering from shock. He narrowed his eyes at the super soldier, who was apparently too amused by the situation. "What's wrong Tony?"

Tony gritted his teeth. "This is my vacation from the Avengers, meaning you CAN'T BE HERE. How the hell did you even get on my plane?!" Steve shrugged, smiling playfully. "Secret." The other man groaned in frustration, leaning back on his seat and running a hand down his face. "You do know once this plane lands, you need to go back right?"

Steve shook his head. "No. Not going to happen." Tony gaped at him. "Wh-What do you mean no ?!" The other man chuckled. "Tony, you have to keep your promise."

"Oh, I made a promise? And what was that promise per say?"

Steve smiled sweetly at him, sending shivers down his spine and making him force down his sudden blush. "Do you happen to remember the promise we made when I was a child before me and the others turned back into adults?" Tony took a few moments to think, then shook his head. "I-I actually don't remember."

"Well...before we made that promise.. you talked about your childhood." Steve grinned when Tony let out a small smile and a nod. "That I do remember. I was talking about my butler Jarvis, who was like a father figure to me. Always over-protective and caring to me. Always made the best deserts but forced me to eat my food first." Tony laughed. "And then I talked about my aunt-"

Tony stopped talking when realization hit him.

"I-I promised you that you would get to meet my aunt one day, didn't I?" Tony buried his face in his hands when Steve nodded and smiled mischievously.

"That you did. You promised that I'd meet your aunt before you tucked me in to go to sleep. We even made a pinky promise! You can't back down on a pinky promise, Tony."

Tony sighed, turning towards the man. "You and my aunt Peggy- there was something between you two, wasn't there?" Steve froze, surprised at the sudden question. Blushing, he nodded and bit his lip in embarrassment. "I mean- I think there was something."

"I always knew there was." Tony admitted. "My aunt Peggy wouldn't stop talking about you, most of my bedtime stories would always be about the brave and courageous Captain America. Not only that, but she'd talk about the sweet and loving Steve Rogers who was just a kid from Brooklyn. Now, if that isn't love than screw me sideways."

"Tony- how is Peggy your aunt?" Steve couldn't help but ask.

"She's my mom's sister." Tony confessed, looking out the window. "Aunt Peggy and my dad were still close friends after the war. One day she introduced my mom to him, and things just hit off after that. She was the maid of honor at their wedding, you know. People say I look just like her, the same dark brown hair and the same big brown eyes. I love her, she's like a mom to me. We did everything together." Tony turned to look at Steve. "You know what? You can be on vacation with me. It'll make my aunt Peggy really happy."

Steve gaped. "Really?"

"Of course."

Steve smiled. "You know, I met your aunt in the war. She was a operations supervisor in the SSR, and boy- did she sweep me off my feet. She wasn't like any other dame. She was tough and clever, and she could handle a gun better then most men I've seen. Curly brown hair and bright red lips, every time I heard her voice my heart skipped a beat. I used to have her picture in my compass."

Tony turned to look at him, smiling sadly. "I'm sorry you didn't end up being with her."

Steve shrugged. "Its alright, she was just my first love. Besides, I actually have my eyes set on someone else..." He trailed off, staring a Tony with a hopeful smile. Tony caught on and blushed furiously, turning his gaze back to the window. "O-oh..."

Tony coughed awkwardly as the room was filled with uncomfortable silence. "So... do the others know you're here?"

"Nope. Well, I think Coulson might have an idea, but other than that, no."

The billionaire raised an eyebrow. "You didn't even tell them you were leaving? Weren't they suspicious of you carrying oh I don't know- luggage?"

Steve chuckled. "I'm pretty sure they don't even want to speak with me. Actually, I think none of us want to speak for awhile." Tony raised an eyebrow. "How come?"

"Well..."

"A whole damn month without seeing Tony, unbelievable." Clint grumbled, walking back into the tower with the rest of the Avengers. The others gave murmured agreements, finding a seat in the living room. Bruce gave a loud sigh, plopping himself down on the couch and crossing his legs. "But it's for the best, can't really imagine how much pressure we gave him."

"It broke my heart seeing Tony cry like that." Natasha muttered, and Thor gave a sympathetic nod. "Aye, we truly were horrible to Tony the last few months."

Loki raised an eyebrow. "Since when have you started Anthony by 'Tony'?"

Thor narrowed his eyes. "I thought you and the others have followed us on our date. You should already know." Loki clicked his tongue in annoyance. "I was just making sure Anthony was safe. Father knows what you can do once you're alone."

"Loki if you plan on starting this again-"

"Guys, knock it off." Steve said, walking over to the two. "This is exactly why Tony left. We keep fighting. Let's just all take a moment to settle down and ease the tension out, alright?"

Clint rolled his eyes. "Look at you, Mr. Perfect. Trying to be the good, old captain." Steve raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Clint.." Natasha warned.

"Just letting you know that being Mr. Goody Two-Shoes won't make Tony pick you, alright?" Steve's eyebrows rose up in surprise. "I-I'm not trying to-"

Bruce frowned. "And you think acting like that will?" Clint furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"

The doctor raised his hands in surrender. "I'm just saying that you might not be the one Tony picks, either." Clint gaped while Loki chuckled behind him. "Got something to say, reindeer?"

Ignoring that comment, Loki smirked. "I agree with the Doctor. I think I'd be a better choice for him, to be honest."

Clint stared at him unbelievably. "Please. Give me one good reason why."

"Well, he was affectionate with me the most when we were kids." Everybody rolled their eyes. "Just look at it, who was the one who always got to sit on Anthony's lap? Who was the one that he first said an endearment to?"

Natasha rolled her eyes. "That doesn't mean anything." Loki raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

"Yeah. He always called me a princess. Unlike you boys, I had a endearment just for me."

Bruce chuckled. "Alright, well Tony would always watch cartoons with me in the morning since I was a early-riser. And he'd give me permission to go in his lab once in a while."

Clint stood up, challenging. "Well no matter how bad I'd be, he'd never give me any harsh punishment." Everyone got out of the seats, turning their once quiet atmosphere into a verbal battle.

"HE MADE ME POP-TARTS EVERY MORNING, MAY I REMIND YOU ALL."

"HE SUNG ME TO SLEEP WHEN I HAD A NIGHTMARE!"

"HE CHANGED ME WHEN I SPILLED JUICE ALL OVER ME!"

"HE TOLD ME HE LOVED ME!"

Everyone turned to glare at Clint. "HE SAID THAT TO ALL OF US!"

Tony banged his head against the window once Steve was done finishing the story. He was screwed.

"Ms. Carter..." A nurse called out.

Peggy hummed softly, acknowledging her presence but never leaving her sight away from the TV. It seems nothing can tear her apart from missing an episode of Jeopardy. "Yes, darling? What is it?"

The young nurse looked over her clipboard, lips pressed into a line. "There's a visitor who's come to visit you. I believe it's your nephew, ma'am." Peggy's eyes widened, turning her head to look at the nurse. Her thinned lips quirked into a smile. "Is that so? Bring him in, please."

A few minutes went by until Tony popped his head out from the door, smiling cheekily. "Miss me?"

Peggy's joyful laugh filled the room. "Tony! Come here and give your aunt a hug." Tony didn't hesitate and ran over to the bed, pulling his aunt in a strong embrace. Peggy patted his back, humming softly. "Baby boy, I've missed you so much. You've grown."

Tony chuckled, pulling away slightly and pressing a kiss to his aunt's forehead. "And I come back to see you still as beautiful as ever, I can hardly see your wrinkles, by the way. What kind of moisturizer do you use?" Peggy smirked, slapping Tony's arm playfully. "Stop it, you. Haven't I taught you that flattery doesn't work on me?" Tony smiled and sat on the edge of the bed, laying his head on Peggy's shoulder. "I really did miss you, aunt Peggy. The past few months have been.. hard."

Peggy frowned. "Did you know how worried I was when I got a call that you were in the hospital? Oh sweetheart, you nearly gave me a heart attack."

"Sorry..." Tony muttered. Peggy shook her head, placing a hand on Tony's. "It's alright, love. All that matters is that you're okay."

Tony lifted his head up. "And I'm really sorry that it took this long to visit you, Aunt Pegs." Peggy smiled, caressing Tony's face lovingly. "Don't you ever apologize, baby boy. You've been busy, I understand. I'm just glad you've finally visited." Tony leaned into the touch, sighing softly.

"Well, I'm still sorry nevertheless. But, I did bring something to make it up for it..." Tony trailed off, brushing a piece of his aunt's white hair away from her face. Peggy smiled. "Oh?"

Tony smiled. "Well, actually... someone."

Peggy furrowed her eyebrows once Tony got off from the bed and walked towards the door, peaking over the doorframe and muttering words to someone. Finally Tony turned back and beamed brightly. He took a few steps away from the door, clearing his throat.

"Agent Carter-" Peggy's eyebrows rose at the old name. "May I introduce to you, Captain America."

Peggy covered her mouth in shock as Steve stepped into the room, smiling shyly while holding a bouquet of flowers. Peggy felt tears prick at her eyes at the sight of Steve Rogers, youthful as ever. His hair was a bit darker than before, and he was now dressed in 21st century clothing, but it was the same man she fell in love with 71 years ago. Steve took one look at her and smiled softly, walking over to her and handing her the bouquet. Daffodils, her favorite.

"Sorry I'm late."

"Well I'll be damned."

Steve laughed, pulling his old friend into a hug. "Dum Dum!" The older man snickered, patting the blonde on the back. "Captain, you haven't aged a day." Steve chuckled, pulling away. "And you've aged a century." The two men roared with laughter, chatting away while Peggy stared at the two.

Peggy shook her head, smiling softly and turning to her nephew. "Tony..."

Tony turned away from his phone. "Hm?" Peggy leaned over and squeezed his hand. "Why did you do this?" She asked softly. "I thought you and Captain weren't on good terms."

Tony bit his lip. "We-we're okay now... I guess. Besides, I know you've wanted to see Steve since you heard he's alive. You and uncle Dum Dum. I just wanted to see you happy, Aunt Pegs." Peggy smiled and kissed his temple. "You're such a sweet boy, Tony."

"Only for you."

Dum Dum coughed, getting the two's attention. "Alright Tony, how much have you taught the man? He knows what a 'porno' is." Tony broke into a fit of laughter while Peggy blushed.

"Dum Dum!" Peggy scolded, and the said man laughed. "Easy Pegs, I was just curious."

Tony shrugged, smiling. "Didn't teach him much, Uncle Dum Dum. He learned most of the 21st century by himself." Dum Dum turned to the Captain, smiling devilishly. "And what have you been searching on the internet, Rogers?" He cackled once Steve blushed furiously. Peggy sighed. "Alright, Dugan. I think you've tortured him enough."

Dum Dum frowned. "You're no fun, Peggy. Hey Tony, mind pushing me towards the dining hall? They're serving donuts." Tony licked his lips, grinning. "You had me at dining hall, Uncle. Let's go!"

Steve watched as Tony stood up and wheeled Dum Dum out of the room, asking politely if he can upgrade his wheelchair to make it run on battery before they both disappeared from his view. Steve smiled softly, turning to the older women. "Hi Peggy."

Peggy grinned. "Captain."

Steve took a moment to look at Peggy closely. She's aged, no doubt. Dark, brown wavy hair was replaced with white, and her young and youthful face now aged with wrinkles and age spots. Her lips were thinned and was no longer bright red, but rather pale pink. But even though she's gotten older, there were still traits that Steve couldn't help but point out. Her eyes were still big and brown, so similar but yet different to Tony's. She was still sharp and clever, narrowing her eyes at any young nurses who ogled at Tony(he couldn't help but glare also) and she wasn't weak or frail as he'd expected her to be. And what delighted him the most was that Peggy's voice was still thick with her British accent.

"I've missed you, Peggy." Steve confessed, leaning over and pressing a chaste kiss to her temple. Peggy blushed. "I have as well. I've aged, Steve. I've grown old with another man, I've had a child."

"Who?"

Peggy smiled, reminiscing. "He was a good man, a nice man. His name was Charles Bright, we met in the war a few months after you've gone under. He lost his girl as well, she died to cancer during the war. We were suited for each other. After the war he courted me, then after we started to date, a few years after he proposed. We had a beautiful wedding, Steve. It was an outdoor wedding, underneath this big oak tree. We lived in a nice house close to Howard's, so that way I can visit them often. We had one girl, a beautiful baby girl. Her name was Sarah, and she grew up hearing stories about you. I had a wonderful life."

Steve smiled sadly. It hurt that it couldn't be him who got to marry her and have a family, but nevertheless he was happy for her. Peggy Bright, it had a nice ring to it. "So where are they?"

Peggy's breath hitched. "C-Charles died when Sarah turned 10, he was in a car accident on the way to work." Steve wrapped a comforting arm around the older women. "And... your daughter?"

"She died when she was 15. She was in the middle of a drive-by shooting while walking to our house, she just came back from visiting Charles' grave."

Steve's heart stopped. "I am so, so sorry Peggy." The older woman smiled through tears. "It's alright, Steve. I've learned to let go. I still have Tony, my precious little boy. And Dum Dum, who decided to move here and stay with me after all his loved ones and the Howling Commandos passed away." Steve pulled her closer, letting her lay her head on his shoulder.

"So... you and Tony are close?" She asked softly, breaking the silence.

Steve flushed. "P-pretty close."

"Oh? How close?"

"Just close enough to know that you're his aunt, his butler was Jarvis, Howard married your sister and both of them were pretty distant with Tony. Just that much. It's a building friendship.." Peggy grinned. "Oh? So he never told you he had a British accent before?"

Steve's eyes widened. "He did?!"

Peggy scoffed. "Oh Steve, don't you catch on? Howard was hardly around, so Tony was surrounded by just us 3. Jarvis was British, I'm British, and Maria only used her American accent outside of the house. Of course Tony had an accent before."

Steve nodded. It actually made sense... "So what happened?"

"Howard made Tony develop an American accent at 10, since he thought that no one would've taken him seriously with his accent once he became the head of Stark Industries." Peggy explained, rolling her eyes. "Although he still has his accent. Sometimes it would slip, and if he was really angry, he'd curse and yell obscenities like a spot-on born and raised English man. Of course when he's angry he's usually by himself."

Steve snorted at the thought of Tony yelling 'bloody hell!' with his hidden accent. But then again, the thought sounded pretty arousing...

"Steve?"

"Huh- wha?"

Peggy grinned, a knowing glint in her big brown eyes. "If you've perhaps came to have my blessings, you've earned it soldier." Steve furrowed his eyebrows. "Peggy?"

The older woman chuckled, leaning back on her wheelchair. "Steve, just because I'm old doesn't mean I'm an idiot. I know you harbor feelings towards my nephew. Don't try to hide it. I'm very comfortable and supportive of it." The other man blushed. "After all these years... you can still see right through me."

Peggy laughed. "How can I not? You're an open-book. But really, I've noticed that every time I mention Tony, you have this 'look'. You perk up a bit, straighten your back a little, and focus more on what I'm saying. You smile just a little bit wider, and your eyes a little bit softer. I know that look, Steve. That's the look you once gave me." Steve opened his mouth to speak, but she cut him off. "Tony... is a brilliant boy. He's been through a lot. He's not a stranger to betrayal, to hurt, to hate. He may seem like a man who doesn't have a care in the world, like a ignorant billionaire who throws his money around. But he's not. He's a gifted man, a caring man. He's had a rough childhood. Being ignored, getting bullied, never getting enough affection from his parents. But yet, he's accomplished so much. He's learned from his mistakes, he's risen from his breaking points in life. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to live long enough to see him accomplish that. He's a good boy, some one I am proud to call my nephew. Although, he is broken. And I hope you can deal with that. I hope you can patch him up, repair him little by little. Give him all of your love and affection that you couldn't give to me. Don't let it go to waste."

Steve stared, wondering how many years he was gone that Peggy lived through to be so wise. "I-I ... I'm sorry, Peggy."

She shook her head. "It's alright Steve. We may not have had a perfect ending together, but that doesn't mean it's over. I lived my life through and through. I've gotten married, had a child, experienced love and joy and heartbreak. I've seen the world change, and I've moved on. Now it's your turn. Go on, live and be happy. Be with someone you really love. I may be your first love, Steve, but I'm not your last. You still owe me a dance, but after that you're free to move on in life and start another beginning."

"I... I love Tony, Peggy. I love him a lot. I don't even think my love for you was as strong as mine is to Tony. Please, don't be mad."

Peggy smiled, placing her hand on top of Steve's and squeezing lightly. "It's okay. It's okay. As long as you treat him with respect and love, I give you my blessing. I always knew you'd move on and meet someone special, I'm just glad it was Tony who caught your eye."

Steve grinned through tears. "I'll always love you, Peggy."

"And I'll always love you Steve." It was quiet for a few moments, just the two of them sitting in comfortable silence. Finally Steve spoke. "I do believe I still owe you that dance, Agent Carter?"

Peggy's lip quirked into a smile. "Better late than never, soldier."

"How about that one? Hm?"

Tony looked up from his drink and stared at a petite young girl who was shyly going around the dining hall, roaming around in case of any one in need of assistance. Wavy strawberry blonde hair, bright green eyes, flush pink lips. "Cute.. but not my type."

Dum Dum frowned. "Oh- how about Jennifer? Darling girl." Tony turned to cast a glance at the said girl who was nearby helping an elderly woman eat her food. Slick black hair tied into a tight pony-tail with curls at the ends, with bright red lips and a grin plastered on her face. "Gorgeous girl. Not interested. Stop trying to play match maker, old man."

"Hey! You've been single for awhile now, and you're a Stark. You'd already have a cute girl attached to your hip by now."

Tony frowned, playing with his cup. "It doesn't have to be a girl..." Dum Dum gaped at him, before roaring with laughter. Tony blushed embarrassingly as the other residents glanced at their direction. "Uncle! If you laugh any harder you'll fall off your wheelchair." Dum Dum grinned, leaning back. "So you're into men now? I'm supportive of it all the way, bud. Really, I am."

"Uncle, remember Clark?"

Tony sighed when Dum Dum's eyes widened. "Oh, I forgot about that lad! It's been awhile, and I'm getting old. Don't expect me to remember every darn thing." Tony smiled, rolling his eyes. "Alright, alright. You're so old I don't think you remember my birthday, anyways." Dum Dum squinted his eyes. "Ehh... July 4th?"

"Steve's birthday."

"Damn."

Tony laughed, shaking his head. "Man, Uncle. It's been too long since I've seen you. You haven't changed a bit." Dum Dum smirked. "Age doesn't change a man, only their appearance."

Tony got up from his seat, walking away to throw his trash away. "Let's go back to the room?" He asked over his shoulder. Dum Dum nodded, turning his wheelchair around. "Huh. Almost forgot we left Pegs and Cap behind."

"Maybe they're busy talking about the old days. Maybe we shouldn't bother them?"

Dum Dum huffed. "Nonsense. If they're talking about the old days I might as well join em'. Thinking about leaving me behind..." Tony smiled, pushing his uncle out of the dining hall and through the corridors. "What would they talk about anyways? The war? The commandos?"

"Fondue." Dum Dum responded, cackling. Tony laughed, shaking his head. "C'mon uncle, you know they wouldn't." Dum Dum sighed, wiping a tear. "Steve is an innocent little boy scout. Never thought about anything lewd or dirty. And even if he did, he wouldn't say it out loud unlike the rest of us. So of course I'm not going to let something like Peggy telling us that Steve once used 'fondue' as an innuendo for sex go."

Tony smirked. "Well I for one think that Steve and Peggy are-"

Oh.

Tony and Dum Dum watched as Steve and Peggy slowly moved around the room, Steve gently twirling her around while Peggy swayed to the slow music that played in the background. Peggy softly whispered encouraging compliments, making Steve grin and giving more confidence in his steps. Tony couldn't help but let out a grin at the sight of his aunt, still in her nightgown but managed to put on her old red dancing shoes. Her white hair was tucked behind her ears, her thin pale lips colored brightly with bright red lipstick. She was laughing quietly, smiling brightly at the soldier who she's waited to dance with for so many years.

Steve glanced at the door and froze, surprised at the sudden presence. Dum Dum furrowed his eyebrows, a cheesy grin plastered on his face. "Why'd you stop, Captain? We were just watching."

"I-I-"

"It's alright, Dugan. We were just finishing up." Peggy answered, smiling at Steve. "Thank you, Captain. Thank you so much for the dance."

Steve looked softly into her eyes. "You're welcome, Agent Carter."

Tony and Steve walked side by side across the streets of London, taking in the many views and occasionally stopping to take a few pictures.

"I've always thought London was the most prettiest at night, you know." Tony mentioned, breaking the comfortable silence. It was half past 8 and the duo were heading back to the hotel, deciding to travel back by foot instead of a car to venture through the city. Steve grinned, nodding. "I think so, too."

Tony smiled. "As much as I love Malibu and New York, London has always been my favorite place in the world. I've been coming here since I was 3, either business trips or vacations or just visiting Aunt Pegs. When I'm here, I can be myself. I don't have to think about SHIELD or Stark Industries, I don't have to have the Tony Stark image everyone usually expects. London is like my home."

"You know..." Steve trails off, making Tony turn to face him. "Peggy told me something interesting about you, something I'm sure not many people have known." Tony's eyes widened. "You don't mean-"

"Tony Stark has a British accent, who would've guessed huh?"

Tony grumbled, blushing hard. "T-That was ancient history, Rogers! I grew out of it when I was 10." Steve smirked challengingly. "You mean you completely grew out of it?"

"W-well sometimes it would slip-"

"So it's not ancient history then, right?" Tony narrowed his eyes dangerously. "What are you playing?" Steve blinked innocently. "What do you mean?" The dark haired man felt a blood vessel pop.

"Don't act innocent, Rogers! No matter what you say, you aren't going to let me slip my accent. No one besides my family has heard it and I'll be damned if I'll let you break that." Steve froze, staring at Tony like a gaping fish. His accent slipped. His accent slipped.

so hot so hot so hot so hot so hot

Tony's eyes widened in realization. He lowered his head in embarrassment, silently cursing himself. "Fuck."

Steve quickly composed himself, blushing hard. "I'm s-sorry Tony. I didn't mean to I swear." Tony sighed, shaking his head. "It's alright Captain. I'm the one that let it slip." He slowly lifted his head and stared hesitantly at the taller man. "Just don't tell anyone this secret, please?" Steve felt his heart melt.

"I wont, I promise." Tony relaxed a bit, smiling softly. "Thanks, Steve. Really." Steve bit his lip, trying to hide his grin. "Why do you hate your accent, anyways?"

Tony sighed. "I don't hate it. It's just, I was raised by my dad to not let it slip. I needed a more powerful image, and dad thought having the accent made me seem... oh I don't know. Like I wouldn't be taken seriously. Which is stupid, since Aunt Pegs is British and she's more manlier than he could ever be." Steve couldn't help but snort at the comment.

"It's really not that bad. Don't know why you should hide it. I lo-like it. I like it." Steve confessed, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. Tony chuckled. "I usually let my accent slip with Jarvis, to be honest." Steve laughed. "What about me?"

Tony stopped to think, tapping his chin. "Hmmm...maybe I'll let it slip. Just make sure you'll get used to it, big boy." Steve blushed hard, looking anywhere besides Tony's face. "A-alright. I can do that."

The billionaire grinned. "Let's go back to the hotel? We still need to call Fury, the others must be pissed." Steve let out an amused noise. "They're going to want to murder me."

Fury and the 5 other furious avengers glared dangerously at the nervous agent. Phil gulped, breathing heavily through his nose. Fury was the first to break the silence. "What the hell did you do, Agent?"

Phil sighed. "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to tell the captain Tony's plane hadn't took off yet."

"Damn right you didn't." Clint grumbled, earning a smack on the back of his head from Natasha. "Quiet, Clint." Bruce sighed heavily, laying back in his seat and turning to the others. "So, what do we do then?"

"I say we travel to London and take the captain back!" Thor boomed, slamming his fist on the table. Loki winced, glaring at the muscled blonde. "Thor! We can hear you just fine. Yell once more and I'll sew your mouth shut." Thor coughed nervously, giving the irritated demi-god an apologetic smile.

Bruce shook his head. "I don't think we can. Remember when Jarvis showed us the footage of us as children? Tony promised Steve that he'll get to meet his Aunt Peggy one day, which he left to go see."

"And it looks like Tony kept the promise, hence the reason Steve hasn't came back yet. Usually he'd be here by now if Tony didn't want him there." Natasha added, and Clint sighed heavily. "Clever captain. Out of all 6 of us, I didn't expect Steve being the one to break Fury's orders."

Loki huffed, nodding thoughtfully. "I actually agree with the archer. The captain seems to follow all of the rules." Bruce snorted, taking off his glasses and cleaning them with his dress shirt. "Well, no one has followed every rule before."

Fury stared at the others, tapping his fingers against the table. "Well, looks like you'll have to wait a month until Stark and Captain comes back." He stated, and everyone gave depressed sighs. "Like I said, you idiots try getting over your little teenage crush and go back to being educated adults."

The others waited until Fury turned his heel and walked out of the room, Phil hurriedly following behind. Bruce was the first to stand up, adjusting his glasses back on his face and grabbing his stuff. "Well, I'm going back to the tower and heading to my lab." Loki stood up after him, swiftly walking towards the double doors. "I'm going to go to the tower's library, haven't actually gone there yet."

Thor scoffed, following his brother closely behind. "Why must you read? Go and spar with me!"

Natasha and Clint were the last to leave the room, walking side by side. "So, you up for movie with me?" Clint asked, and Natasha thought carefully. "Depends, what are we watching?"

The 5 Avengers decided to do what they did before falling in love with Tony, all while trying to hide their equally broken hearts. Maybe love just didn't cut out for them. Or maybe it did, they'll never know. They have a whole month to find out.
