It's time for a bit of an announcement, as I'm sure y'all were prepared for.

You see, I haven't written DaN consistently for OVER TWO YEARS. Yeah, it's been that long. It honestly doesn't feel like it. It seems like only yesterday that I was first coming up with Moss's story, writing a chapter every day or at least every other. Then it was almost lucky if I look at it every month.

But I'm hoping to change that.

I had a dream. And a dreamed about DaN. I've actually been stuck on this middle part for quite a while. (Think since the race or a bit before that). But I've finally, after almost TWO YEARS of searching, came up with a good, non-plot-hole-y answer to my questions.

And you're sitting there like: what's this history lesson got to do with anything here?

Long story short, DaN is back. At least for a while. I know what I'm doing with it, how I'm going to lead things in, how I'm going to finish things. Everything is planned out. All I have to do is write it. Which is easier said than done, but I do have a little more time on my hands than I have had lately, so hopefully it'll happen quicker than other things.

But with the return of DaN, I also have some announcements for the new people who have just entered in on the adventure.

Did you know that we have a DaN VIP squad? Yeah, it's really a great place to be. VIP's get exclusive behind-the-scenes cuts of everything new, including sneak peeks and priority in all sorts of cool things, such as OC inserts and other contests. VIP's have polls only available for them, and all sorts of awesome other perks. And guess what? It's easy to join in on the fun. Just favorite the story. That's it. All it takes is a click of the favorite button and you'll be on the VIP list. Awesome, huh?

And on that note, for returning readers: followers no longer are on the VIP list. Sorry, but it is extremely hard to go down both lists avoiding all the repeats with so many in the squad. So if you're following and haven't favorited yet, PLEASE make sure to favorite in order to stay on the Squad.

And while I'm on the topic of announcements, I have one more for y'all. I'm releasing a new fic soon. I'm officially starting an idea I've had for these same two years called "Welcome to the Show." A FFN exclusive, this story will feature a group of showcats as they find the lake, and the mysteries and horrors they bring too. I'm starting work on the first two chapters now, working with it and editing it how I want the rest of the story to follow, but it shouldn't be long for it to start it's appearance. Please note this new fanfiction will be rated M! And reasons there will be. I'm excited to start this up, and while it won't have as many updates as DaN (at least not later; in the beginning I may frontload it with a bunch of chapters while muse is up) but it'll be something to work on that's a bit. . . different. mwahahahaa.

Anyways, I have to leave this off on a thank you. Especially for those of you coming back after two years, but for all the new readers as well. As I'm writing this, we've had over twenty new people read through the entire story, and over a hundred unique visitors. In what, four days? That's insane for only being back such a short time! And I only have you guys to thank, so thanks! Hopefully you'll continue to enjoy as Moss's story unravels. Keep being awesome, and thank you all so much. cx

P.S: God that feeling when your announcements are longer than a handful of chapters. I don't know whether the chapters were just horribly short or I've just gotten horribly long-winded over the years. Probably the latter. xD
