Okay, I've now decided to write longer chapters and only update once a week, I hope this will be okay. furthermore, I am so sorry it has taken so long to update, it took time to write this much.

Five days later

no one pov

The office was too bright and luminous, the blinding glow was almost irritating as the man sat staring blankly at his contractor "He doesn't want it, I've tried to get him to change the target but he won't he's a stubborn arse" the slightly large portly man stated to the figure, dressed in black he seemed out of place against the illuminating office, "Because no other target will work, it has to be this one, I don't understand why but he's hellbent on it no matter the danger of exposure, he's lost his mind" the dark figure announced callously.

Another figure lingering in the background contemplated the argument and spoke up "What if we don't get the target but a family member, the target will surely give themselves up for them". The portly man sighed rubbing his large hand over his tired face "They're untouchable, no one can reach any of them", the figure standing then interjected quickly "We can get someone close to them, it will take time but it will work, he said he needs this specific target he never said when, well put forth the argument that waiting will get him the results, the target may not be fully matured, its the only way to ensure the target is ready".

The figure sitting immediately perked up "Yes, it will work, he'll believe anything to ensure this works, he'll be patient and give us time if he thinks letting the target mature will allow better results", grinning they all agreed to try and persuade this ominous man who wants a certain target.

Maddy pov

I stare up at the ceiling contemplating my week, Nate has been accepted for a trial period within the pack, he's been coming over every day after work experience to learn all about being a wolfblood, It irritates me somewhat, it took me fifteen years to learn that there are other types of wolfbloods, not just tame, and Nate has learned basically everything within five days,

Rhydian has been cautious around Nate, he doesn't fully trust him and barely likes him even though he understands him. I know he sees himself within Nate, they both had to learn about their wolves on their own, they both grew up without their parents and they also thought that they were the only ones of their kind.

Mam and dad have been polite yet distant, they don't want to fully trust Nate yet but they are willing to give him a chance. I, on the other hand, trust him and I want to help him while making sure he has a pack to turn to when he needs help but I do however understand that he is an adult and he doesn't have to follow our pack rules or even join our pack.

Sighing I turn towards my nightstand and look at my alarm clock, squinting the time reads three fifteen am, ugh I can't sleep knowing that have school in a few hours and my mind racing like this. I wonder before I tentatively call out Rhydian. Maybe it doesn't work at this distance, or maybe he's asleep, I immediately berate myself.

Mads, what's wrong I hear him think. I uh can't sleep, were you sleeping? I question wincing as guilt wells up inside me, I feel selfish that I've disturbed him, No I can't sleep either, I miss you. My heart melts as I smile and reply its been two days, you saw me Friday night. I can practically feel him rolling his eyes at me well after seeing you every day this past week then not at all for two days, I tend to end up missing you. Grinning now I say I miss you too, did you enjoy your camping trip. I can hear the amusement rolling off his thoughts as he answers Ollie fell into the lake, he was looking for alien rocks or something, but I think Joe was the reason behind him thinking alien rocks were over there.

Giggling I quietly think to him at least you didn't fall in, I wish I could've seen it. Me too he says before adding Mads, would you like to go the cinema with me on Thursday, blushing I reply Its my turn to ask you out, your not doing all the asking ... will you go to the cinemas with me. He chuckles then replies thats my mate, of course, id go with you, I don't want to be a dead wolf he says teasingly, I scoff before retorting good, you know your place, okay I'm going to have a long uninterrupted bath before school, I'll see you then, I love you. I love you too Mads, see you later.

Okay, this week will hopefully be the last short chapter, ill try extending the chapters and I'll hopefully update every end of the week, either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Thakyou for your continued support, love Liya xx
