Sebastian stared at his hand again. The contract seal was burning once again, holding dear to the pain and latching onto an unseen fear of losing someone.
But he would not be losing the Young Master anytime soon, and the young Phantomhive and he agreed it was best to leave the Young Miss with the Undertaker for this next task. Putting her in such immediate danger that he wasn't too pleased with putting the Young Master in wasn't the best of ideas. The carriage jolted to a stop, his hand immediately going to stop the sliding young miss. Balance while riding carriages was still not a strong point of hers.
He exited first, and held a hand out for both of the Young ones. He could already feel the intense brooding of death that fumed from the area. This was unmistakably the place.
The Young Master entered first, followed by Miss Rose, Sebastian following up last.
"Are you here," The young Phantomhive called loudly, "Undertaker?"
"Hee~Hee~..." None of the three were startled by the sound of the voice, however, Miss Rose was the only one to move at the sound, turning to the side and backing up to fall into line with him. "Wel~~come, Earl."
Sebastian was surprised when the Young Miss did not react to the sight of a human skull rolling past them, knocking down the gravestone displays on the far side of the room. The Young Master had made quite a few movements at the sight.
"Did you finally want to get into one of my special coffins~?"
"You…"
The three of them turned around, finding the Undertaker standing behind them, keeping a pose as if being the person to have thrown the skull in question. "Well~ have a seat, I've just baked a cake.~"
The Young Master let out a long sigh before moving and finding a seat on a closed coffin.
"Little Flloowwwerrr~~~"
Sebastian's face fell of all emotion as the Young Master started to explain the situation. He allowed his mind to wander for a moment before moving forward and standing in the middle of the room.
Why are you back?
Me? I came for you.
…Why?
I thought you wanted me to come…
…but youre a…
A demon….yes.
Demons… are scary…
He was jolted out of a spiraling memory when the Young Miss touched his shoulder. He closed his eyes for a single second and calmed his heavy breathing. His lips curled up in a smile before he called softly, "Yes, Miss Rose?"
"The Young Master is asking for the documents."
"Ah, yes, thank you."
But Sebastian would be lying to say he cared at all about the children that had been kidnapped. He would be only telling the truth to say he wanted to know the exact reason behind the flaring pain burning down his arm from the contract seal. Pain was a common feeling whenever he was performing his duties, however, this pain shot down his body with each time that the Young Miss or the Young Master would escape his thoughts. It was particularly strong when his mind wandered to figuring out the Young Miss's identity. He'd only managed to gather so much information from scorched papers and scattered documents. There were few pertaining to anything regarding her past.
If demons are 'scary', why aren't you afraid of me?
… you don't seem… scary…
A smirk.
What about the others…?
Such a pure heart to still worry about them while you're here, so interesting.
…What about him…?
The boy?
…he's probably better for you…
Yet I came here for you.
…you should go with him… he's waiting for you…
I didn't choose him.
You won't…remember… when… you… come back…
Child?
…I wanna… be safe…
Child!?
…Please… help…
Dear child… Is that your wish?
Step away from her.
I only listen to those who are my master.
Leave this area.
You don't control me, Divine Being or not. I'm here to choose a charge.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
Once again, he was jolted from another swirling memory that flooded his mind. The smell of this place was trigger memories that he, in all truth, didn't remember. He was sure it had something to do with that Guardian Angel of hers, which, unfortunately for the Young Miss, would only spell out the reason Matarius had encouraged the used of that ability.
A smirk rose on his face at the sight of the Young Master reaching out for someone. He wasn't in the cage any longer and yet he reached out.
"You're outside of the cage right now, My Lord." His hands wrapped around the young Phantomhive, "Come. Call my name."
"Se…sebas….sebastian…Sebastian! Kill these guys!"
And that was all he needed to know.
Blood spattered everywhere.
He was told to kill one after another. To burn the place down. Then another killed.
And Sebastian was glad that the young miss wasn't with them.
It was time to go home.

She heard the Undertaker chuckle.
He had taken her to pick up some supplies in town, and after that, they had gone somewhere else. The Young Master had ordered her to stay with the Undertaker until they would come to retrieve her.
"Even though I told him…" The deathly man commented, his nails brushing her face as she laid against his leg. She was tired. "To hold each and every soul dear. Because you hold great power, you gradually fail to understand the importance of things that cannot be recovered."
Rose felt him reach for something.
"You will realize that once it's too late."
There was a stroke to her hair as her eyes begun to slide close.
"How many times have I given you and the other the same warning?"
Another shift.
"Hm? Earl Phantomhive."
There was a single last stroke to her hair before her world slipped into darkness.
"Had this been you, would you be different, Little Flower?"
O.o
Okay, okay, I meant for this to be longer, but wrist will not let me. I over worked it drawing earlier "
It's not an excuse, but it's the truth.
That being said, sorry the updates are getting few and far between. The site and I are having problems finding common grounds on stuff right now (Ie technical difficulties).
*bows* I'm sorry.
Thanks for all the continued supports.
See ya soon
