Chapter 21 – Love You Endlessly
As Betty stood before Marc and Amanda she was smiling so big "thanks for the video, you guys! I loved it! Especially the end" she said with a giggle causing Amanda to laugh and Marc to roll his eyes knowing what was about to come next.
"You see, Marc! I didn't ruin anything" Amanda said with a smile before hugging Betty. Marc rolled his eyes "whatever, Mandy. You could have!"
Betty giggled "Can I get a hug, Marc?"
Marc looked at her for a moment, "I suppose. But this stays in this room!"
Betty giggled and hugged him. "Thanks for the video. Oh, and it sucks you got Daniel calling me chimmichunga now!" Betty said folding her arms across her chest looking at him with an accusatory look.
Marc grinned. When Marc and Amanda left, and after Betty hugged Hilda and Justin for the gazilienth time, she was able to hug her father while Daniel was talking to Hilda and Justin.
"I'm so happy for you, mija"
"You don't think it's crazy that Daniel and I are engaged in only two days."
"Well, technically, it's been a little over two years" he said with a chuckle causing Betty to giggle. "Besides, he came to the house to talk to me. At first I was a little surprised, I'll admit, but when he told me how much he loved you and listed all the reasons why he loved you and would always love you, I knew that he was being sincere and that I could trust him with your heart."
Betty's eyes were watering, but she smiled "What did he say?"
Ignacio laughed "If I was to tell you everything he said it would take me an hour"
Betty glanced at Daniel and bit her lip then looked to her father again. Ignacio smiled "I love you, mija. I just want you to be happy. I can see that you two are happy together."
Betty nodded "thanks Papi. I love you, too!" she hugged him tight. "Hey, mind if I get a hug?" Daniel's voice came out.
Ignacio stepped away from Betty "Of course, I'm leaving now"
Daniel grinned "I actually meant uh...from..." he rubbed a hand through his hair and shrugged "my future dad"
Betty smiled brightly looking to her father, who then hugged Daniel. Ignacio patted his back "Felicidades mijo"
Daniel smiled as he stepped back. "Thanks..."
"We'll go now. I'm sure you two want to be alone" he said with a smirk before leaving. Betty blushed as she and Daniel looked to each other. He smiled and took her hand in his.
"We should be leaving as well" Claire said as she walked up with DJ walking beside her.
"Oh, ok. Thank you so much for all of this. I can't believe that you all did this for me. Thank you" Betty said appreciatively remembering all the sweet things everyone said to her and did for her.
Claire smiled "I always liked you Betty. From that day I flashed you" she said with a reminiscent laugh. Betty giggled blushing as she remembered that. Daniel cringed at the image of his mother flashing Betty.
"I'm so happy to call you my daughter."
Betty's eyes filled with tears at her statement and she hugged Claire tightly. "Thank you" she whispered softly. Daniel and DJ smiled looking to each other. Daniel placed his arm around DJ's shoulder pulling him close to him.
When Betty finally let go of Claire, she wiped at her cheeks. Claire smiled taking her hand and giving it a soft squeeze.
"Daniel, can I talk to you for a minute" Claire said. "Sure" he followed his mom to the kitchen.
DJ stepped closer to Betty. "Um...Betty?"
"Yes DJ?"
"When I met you I thought you were nice and I always saw that my papa treated you special from everyone else. I thought you were funny and you dressed funny, too."
Betty nodded "I know."
"You're very pretty. I think my papa always thought that about you."
Betty smiled as she listened to him. "One day he drank too much and when he was making me go to sleep, he sat next to me and told me when you were a model you looked so pretty."
Betty looked at him in surprise. "He told me how pretty you looked when you two spent the whole night together eating pizza and stealing cake." He said with a laugh.
Betty giggled, despite the tears that slipped down her face. "He told me that he missed you and when you smiled at him he thought he was embracing the sun."
Betty felt tingles everywhere. DJ smiled "When my papa talked about you, I liked him more."
Betty moved forward and wrapped her arms around DJ. He smiled and hugged her back.
"Mom, what's up?" Daniel asked. He could tell something was bothering her.
"It's just Alexis...don't you think she's been acting strangely since she came back from Paris?"
"Well, a little, but...I like it. She's been nice to me. I'm not complaining."
"I suppose, but I feel like there's something going on."
"Like what?"
"I don't know. Could you speak to her? Maybe she'll open up to you."
"Uh...I don't know, I mean...I guess. I'll try"
Claire smiled "Thank you dear. I'm so happy for you."
Daniel smiled "Thanks mom. I love Betty" he said before he looked in the direction of Betty who was now hugging DJ. When she let go of DJ, she looked to him and their eyes met. She sent him a sweet endearing smile, her eyes glossy.
Daniel smiled entranced by her beautiful smile and how spectacular she looked. Claire had watched her son look at Betty and felt her heart fill with warmth that her son found Betty, or rather, Bradford found Betty for Daniel. That was probably the best thing that Bradford ever did for his son.
"I believe that's our cue to leave" she said snapping him out of his daze. When Claire walked over to DJ, she took his hand "Come now, DJ, we'll get going"
Daniel had walked over to Betty and took her hand in his. Betty brought her other hand up to his arm and hugged it to her.
"Alright, my dears! Have a good night. Congratulations."
"Thanks" they both said grinning and then looking at each other with smiles on their faces. Claire and DJ laughed.
Once they left and Daniel closed the door, he looked to Betty with a smile. She walked forward and wrapped her arms around his neck and looked at his eyes with a sweet smile before pulling him down for a kiss.
Daniel held her close for a moment, before moving back. "Betty..."
Betty could sense something was off in Daniel's tone "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, really, my mom sort of wanted me to check up with Alexis. She thinks she's acting weird. I like it since she's being nice to me, but for my mother's sake. Do you mind if I call her really quick?"
She shook her head "no, of course not, Daniel." She went to sit at the couch while Daniel took out his phone and called Alexis. While he waited for her to answer, he looked to Betty and felt like the luckiest guy in the world.
"Daniel?" Alexis answered somewhat sniffling. Daniel could tell she had been crying. "What's going on? Is everything ok with you? Look, I remember you wanted to tell me something before. You can talk to me" he said trying to let her see that he could be there for her.
He heard more sniffling on the other end "I love you, Danny. I'm just really happy that you have a family"
"What are you talking about, Alexis? Look, where are you? Let me catch up to you and we can talk, ok?"
After a minute he was able to get the location of where she was and hung up. "Betty, honey..."
She stood up and walked over to him with a smile "You don't have to say anything. I'll still be here" she said with a smile.
Daniel smiled and kissed her. "I love you. I'll be right back, ok?"
She nodded as she watched him walk to the door. "I love you, Betty" he said before he left and closed the door.
Betty smiled and started walking through Daniel's apartment still amazed that it looked so magical. The candles were glowing softer now than they had when she first came in the apartment, which actually made it seem like the apartment was filled with soft gold light. The white lilies were so beautiful. She took one out of a vase and smelled it. She slipped the stem through her hair letting it sit against her right ear.
She continued her journey through Daniel's enchanted apartment. When she walked up to his room, the door was closed, but she saw a white envelope with a rose laid on top in front of the door. She picked up the rose and envelope.
She opened the card and read it
I never knew I could love someone as much as I love you. What I feel for you is beyond words to me, but since you are a writer, I want to try and explain to you how I feel about you.
You are the sun the starts my day. Without your smile, I feel like a part of me is missing. Your smile brightens up my life. It brings light to my darkened heart.
When you came into my life I first thought you were going to make my life suck, but that was the stupid Daniel. I can't even imagine never knowing you.
Your kindness and playfulness make me smile. I love to see you happy. That is why I do most of the 'good things' I do. It is so I can hopefully see, even a glimmer, of your smile. Especially, when you are proud of me. You make me a better person. I am nothing without you. You are my other half.
You are my angel, Betty. I have everything when I see your smile. You are the most beautiful person I have ever met, and being loved by you is the best gift I could ever have from the world.
I thank the heavens, the universe, the angels, and God that your parents brought you into this world, that my father brought you into my life, that you brought life and love into my heart, that you love me with your whole heart. That beautiful heart.
I love you, Betty, my very own confetti...you are the gift to my heart.
Betty felt the tears slip down her face as she read the letter. His letter was so beautiful and she felt so wonderful that Daniel had written that for her. She was still amazed that he felt that way about her. It was so magical. She bit her lip taking a look around the apartment again and smiled. She was curious about how his room looked. She kind of wanted to take a peek, so she opened the door and looked in to see a huge gift sitting on his bed that had rose petals scattered all across. She giggled and walked over to the gift wondering what it could be.
She saw a notecard placed on top of it and picked it up.
Betty...

Betty giggled. Daniel knew her too well. She lifted the decorated lid to the box and smiled when she saw all the pictures of them together framed in a collage. There was the strip of photos they took at the arcade in the center. Then pictures from the MODE fashion show of them together, and one of him and her from the dreadful Player shoot. She bit her lip, but then saw a small note. She took it out from the corner of the frame and read it
Flip the back of the picture frame.
She took out the frame and turned it over to see another note. She giggled shaking her head.
I love you so much, Betty. This will be the first item we will decorate our future house together with. I know you said yes! You obviously did, if you are looking at this now. I love you, my future wife!
She felt the tears in her eyes again and her heart was bursting with love for Daniel. She was rendered speechless.
When Daniel found Alexis, she was sitting on the steps to some store front, crying. "Alexis" Daniel called rushing over to her.
"What's the matter?"
She looked to him and smiled despite the onslaught of tears streaming down her face. Daniel sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "I love you, Danny."
"Stop saying that!"
"Why?"
"Because, you said it too many times for one day. Are you dying?"
"NO dumbass!" she slapped his arm. He laughed softly, but looked at her. "What happened?"
"Nothing, I just...I'm so sorry for making your life so difficult growing up. And making you worry about me. And choosing to help Wilhelmina instead of you. And just..."
"Hey, stop!"
She looked at him. "Look, sure that stuff hurt at the time, but I'm over it. We can just...start over. You're my sister, now."
She felt the tears spill down at his sentiment. He smiled "You really did turn into a woman. You're so emotional." He teased.
She punched his arm. "Owww! But hit like a damn man!" he rubbed his arm causing her to laugh. "I love you, Danny."
"You know it kind of loses its charm having you say it so much"
She looked at him "Really?"
He grinned "actually, not really. I like it!" he laughed. "I love you, too, sis."
She smiled and knew she made the right decision. "You're so great with DJ."
Daniel smiled, his eyes focused on the pavement. She watched his eyes. "He obviously loves you so much."
His eyes brightened even despite the night. "I love him, too."
Daniel and Alexis talked for some time, chatting about her trip to Paris, although she omitted some details, and Daniel told her about DJ and he also told her what happened with Betty and how he realized how much he loved Betty.
"Why don't you go see mom and DJ? Being alone is no fun."
She smiled with a nod "Sure"
He smirked before getting up "I'll see you later, sis. I have to go love my future wife"
Alexis grinned "You really love her?"
"Of course I do. It's Betty. She's..."
"...great?" she finished
He nodded "yeah. And my God, she is so hot!" he said blowing out a breath remembering how sexy she was at his office.
"Oh yeah?...what do you know. She was hiding all that."
Daniel nodded with a grin. "You should have seen how...sexy she was at my office, and damn she took my breath away, uh" Daniel stopped realizing he was about to say too much. "What? You can tell me?"
"I know...it's just I don't think Betty will like that very much"
"Sure, she is still our sweet Betty, right?"
Daniel laughed "right."
He looked at her for a moment, "This is..." Daniel looked down unsure how to say what he was feeling without sounding lame.
"Nice?" she completed. Daniel looked up at her and nodded "yah...nice. It feels like old times."
She smiled "Goodnight Danny. Have fun with Betty" she winked at him before walked away. Daniel smiled and went his way. As he was walking back to his apartment, he felt a great sense of contentment wash over him. He had his family back, Betty was his fiancée, he had a great son, and Betty's family liked him enough to allow him to marry their Betty, and he got MODE back all thanks to Betty. Where would he be without her? She was essentially his life force.
He smiled thinking about her waiting for him. When he opened the door he smiled warmly seeing Betty lying down on the couch. It looked like she got dressed for bed, wearing one of his silk robes on her. He smiled and walked over placing a kiss to her cheek. A smile swept her face and she pulled him down. He laughed as he turned to look at her. She looked at him with a bright smile.
"How was Alexis?"
He smiled "good"
She nodded "good" He stared at her as she looked him up and down, biting her lip in that sexy way. He smirked seeing that she was checking him out and clearly wanted him. When her eyes met his, a sexy smile swept her face.
As he was about to lean forward to kiss her, she grabbed his hand, swung her legs over the couch and pulled him up. "Come on"
"What?" he asked in wonder. She walked him to his room. He grinned seeing that she had read his letter, and smiled when he saw the picture frame on a wall in his room. She wrapped her arms around his waist and looked at his eyes with a smile.
He lifted his hand to her cheek looking at her with a sweet smile.
"I love you" she said before letting go of him and untying the knot on the robe she was wearing. He grinned as she slowly opened the top of the robe exposing her lace covered breasts and the pearl necklace laced around her neck. The white lace and pearls against her glowing skin made his pulse quicken. She was so gorgeous.
She kept her eyes locked on his and he could see the heat in her eyes. She was electrifying and his heart raced for her. He was not prepared for what he was about to see when she let the robe fall off her shoulders.
"Oh My God, you're gorgeous!" he stated amazed at how incredible she looked in the lingerie she was wearing. It was white lace that framed the shape of her breasts so perfectly and the panties were white layered ruffles with sparkles at the hem of the ruffles. The long pearl necklace she was wearing hung between her breasts; she looked ravishing.
She smiled, biting her lip seductively. He hooked his finger through the pearl necklace and pulled her close meeting her lips with a kiss as his hand reached her waist pressing her body against his.
"Mhmm" she moaned as her hands rested at his waist. He was fascinated by how incredibly beautiful she looked yet wonderfully sexy. He was going to love her endlessly.
