hey guys I'm having some writers block, so I'll just start from Hannah's duel with Ryou. Enjoy
Yami just finished his duel with Joey and had won. I was so happy for him, and now it was my turn to duel. I just hoped that what happened last night wasn't going to distract me from my duel. Did Bakura really confess that he loved me? I started to blush.
"Hannah You alright?" I came a voice I turned and saw Yami and the others, except for Ryou.
"Hey guys." I said running up to them and hugging Yami. "You ready for your duel?" Yami asked I nodded
"You bet. How's Ryou?" I asked "he's a little nervous, but he's excited." Joey said
"Awsome." I said happily "I know you can win." Yami said "Show them some girl power." Tea said I nodded and walked up to the door. I started to get a little nervous as I walked out of the platform on the blue side of the arena. I got excited as Ryou walked out on the opposite side of the platform.
But as Ryou walked closer to the duel platform my eyes widened as I realized it was Bakura. He smiled at me but his his millenium ring, so no one else could tell it was him and not Ryou.
"The duel between Bakura and Hannah will now commence." Croquet said dramatically.
"Let's duel." Me and Bakura said at the same time. "I'm kind of shocked to see you dueling." I said to him drawing five cards.
"Did you really think I wasn't going to duel you?" Bakura asked smiling at me.
"The first moves mine and now I'll summon out Riukashin." I said placing my monster in attack mode and my turn ended.
"Now it's my turn. I'll set this face down just leave you guessing." Bakura said I had a feeling it was a morphing jar so I don't want to attack so I figured I'd try to pull him out. Or that was my plan until I drew my next card. Talk about the luck of the draw.
"Get ready Bakura because now I'm sending my Riukashin and goddess with a third eye to the graveyard to summon this face down." I said
"let's see who's guessing now." I said with a sly grin. "Trickey as always." Bakura said what? How am I 'Trickey as always'?
"Now I'll activate just desserts." he said I took a step back as he activated his card. This is the exact same cards he used in the duel with Yami only a different order.
i gritted my teeth as I lost 500 life points leaving me with 1500 life points and he ended his turn. I had the main monster I Needed so I didn't care what happened to my hand at that point.
"Ok then Bakura here goes nothing." I said I flipped up my darklord zerato. Bakura seemed a little taken back at my monster but returned to his same demeanor in a matter of seconds.
"Now attack!" I said and dark lord Zerato attacked a morphing jar.
"Yes I knew it." I said with excitement in my voice. "You seem excited." Bakura said "Of course I am now I get a whole new hand. And your wide open for an attack." I said smiling at him I drew my next 5 cards and sadly I didn't have the card I was hoping for.
"Grr. I'll just place this down for now." I said placing my card face down harshly.
"I guess you didn't draw the right card." Bakura said smugly
"So what I highly doubt you have anything strong enough to beat Zerato." I said folding my arms
"Keep fighting Hannah!" I heard Yami say "You can do this!" I heard Tea say I look up and gave them a thumbs up.
"Don't worry guys I got this." I said turning back to Bakura. He seemed confident, and I don't even think the others knew it was him. I was sure he wouldn't draw anything powerful enough.
"my turn." Bakura said he looked at his card and smiled evilly "This might come as a shock old friend." Bakura said and showed me his card.
"No." I said gritting my teeth, this wasn't good.
"Now I activate the change of heart." He said and my monster was out on his side of the field. I clenched on of my fists.
"Attack." Bakura exclaimed "Not so fast Bakura. You forgot my trap card." I said revealing my sakurestu armor card. It destroyed dark lord Zerato. he laid one card face down and ended his turn. I had to draw a good card.
"My turn." I said I have got to stop saying that. I drew my card and was happy with what I got.
"now this might surprise you Bakura." I said with high hopes "first I'll send all my monster back to the deck and reshuffle." Bakura looked confused why I did that but he realized what I as doing.
"now I'll summon Exodius the ultimate forbidden lord!" I exclaimed and it appeared on the field and I was really glad I drew this card. And then I activated a magic card.
"Card distruction!" I exclaimed, I'm getting dramatic. I sent 3 normal monsters to the graveyard, so now he had 3000 attack points.
"Now attack his face down card." I said pointing to his card on the field.
"Big mistake." Bakura said his card flipped up I cursed under my breath as the electric lizard was destroyed l. Since it was destroyed Exodius was switched to defense mode and had no defense points!
I had no choice but to end my turn. So far my plan wasn't going as planned. I had no more ideas to pull myself out of this one. It was obvious I had run out ideas. And it was Bakura's turn. He was completely controlling the duel.
"Looks like your out of ideas." Bakura said I gritted my teeth. This is not good, not good at all.
"White magical hat." Bakura said my card was destroyed. He ended his turn, I had no more ideas. None of my monsters in my hand was strong enough to beat white magical hat. But he had set another card face down defense mode.
"Hannah!" I heard a voice call, I turned my head up to see Yami looking at me.
"Don't give up you can still pull through this duel!" Yami exclaimed. I could pull through this duel but the likeliness of me drawing the right card was slim to none. My best bet was to try a new hand. I summoned out metial sage of the sky.
"Attack his face down card!" I said I was so nervous. I was on the edge of my seat as I saw another morphing jar get destroyed. I drew a set of cards and couldn't beleive my eyes.
i drew the exact cards I needed to win this duel! I smiled greatly.
" It's time for you to lose Bakura." I said "What makes you so sure your going to win?" He asked
"I'll show you." I said "First I'll activate this magic card. Monster reborn." I said "to bring out my Magicians Valkyria!" I exclaimed and then my valkyria appears on the field.
"Nest I'll activate shield and sword to swap white magical hats defense and attack points as well as Magicians valkyria!" I explained excited since valkyria's defense points were higher than her attack points.
"I'll now equip her with Mage power. Now Meltial attack white magical hat!" I exclaimed and his card was gone I smiled and Bakura gritted his teeth and somewhat growled.
Bakura's life points drooped to 1500. And My magicians Valkyria had more than enough attack strength.
"ok now Magicians valkyria, wipeout his remaining life points!" I exclaimed "Mystic scepter blast!"
and Magicians valkyria attacked Bakura directly he shielded his eyes from the blast and I won!
"I did it I won!" I exclaimed with a slight victory jump. "Good game Bakura. That was a tough duel..." I was in the middle of talking and I realized Ryou had taken over.
"Ryou..." I said "Nice duel Hannah." Ryou said happily I didn't realize why Bakura changed back until I heard peoples cheering voices.
"Hannah you won!" Tea said "Great job!" Joey said "You really made a comeback!" Tristan said "I knew you could do it." Yami said happily I ran up and hugged him.
"Congratulations." He said and quickly kissed me on the lips. I blushed slightly but quickly kissed him back.
"Hey Ryou come over here!" I said waving over to him he nodded happily and seriously jumped over the duel platform! I stared at him for a while.
"You did great." Ryou said "thanks you you rocked too." I said placing my hand on his shoulder.
"So now what?" Tea asked I looked Yami. "Now we get to duel." I said happily he nodded his head smiling to me. "Right. Don't think I'll go easy on you." Yami said
"I wouldn't count on anything else."
Yay chapter 21 is finished! So close to the end of season one!
