Chapter 21: Just a Kiss

Sighing, Airachnid made her way down the halls to the training room, ready to apologize for being late to her student but when she arrived, she blinked and stared at the girl as she lay on her back, looking up at the ceiling, smiling.

Her head tipped to the side, brushing her hair back. "Scrap?"

The human looked up all of a sudden, sitting up off the floor. "Ah! Airachnid."

"Sorry for being late." She said casually while her student stood up. "I'm not that late, it's funny not to see you practicing."

Her eyes widened for a moment then she looked away. "I… I hurt my shoulder earlier."

"I see." The Spider said, stepping over to her side, looking down on her.

The green eyes stayed locked on the bright purple optics for a while before she looked quickly to the floor.

The other female grinned suddenly. "I don't believe it. Really?"

Scrap swallowed and looked up at her. "What you talking about?"

"You can't hide anything from me Scrap. But really? I am shocked."

Her eyes turned away. "Oh come on, it was only one time!"

"Once is enough Scrap." Airachnid mocked.

The human held her arms as she looked to the floor. "It was just a kiss."

"A kiss?" She mused then smiled even more. "Soundwave? Well, I did not see that coming."

Her head lifted in shock. "Wha… but you just…"

"Scrap." A nail caught under her chin, lifting it to look up at the other. "It's my job to get information out of people. You were easy compared to some." She flicked the finger off her skin. "So… I want the story, and I will know if you are lying."

Caught out, Scrap had no choice but to confess everything. She kept some of her more intimate details to herself, like her dream with the Autobots and her talk with Arcee but she did confess.

For her part, Airachnid mostly sat in silence, taking in what was being said. Then when it was over, she let out a long deep breath. "So, what you gonna do about it?"

"I have no idea."

"Surely you should do something about it." Her own hand touched the point on her chest. "You can't ignore these things Scrap. You taught that to Dreadwing, and now the pair of us are bound."

The human stared at her in confusion. "What do you mean?"

A little shocked, Airachnid frowned at her. "You mean Knockout never taught you?"

"Hhmm?"

The Spider grinned, showing off her fangs. "I think it's time we had the talk."

Paling, Scrap backed away, hands out stretched as if physically trying to stop her. "Ah, that won't be necessary. I mean… I'm a nurse, I already know…"

"About humans." Airachnid said with a smile, before grabbing hold of her shoulder tightly. "Not Cybertronians. Now, sit and listen."

The directions she had been given were very riddled and strange, getting her to look for small easy to miss details and think of secondary meaning to the clues. If anyone asked her what she was doing, they would never know that these notes were made by the cold hearted, perfection mech they knew.

Scrap learnt over the months that Soundwave did in fact have a very creative mind and could think in strange ways. How else could he design Laserbeak?

It wasn't too hard to decode the clues, and Scrap found herself stood at the door she knew from a long time ago. It was Soundwave's official quarters, the one he was assigned but never used, preferring to use and sleep in that little readapted storage room down in the middle of nowhere.

After a moment to check no one was around her, she reached out and pressed the door control, which opened smoothly and a little slower than it should. Inside was nothing but darkness, and Scrap carefully stepped inside. "Hello?" She called.

The door slid shut behind her, and she was lost in the dark. Fortunately as she stood in place, faint lights began to glow around her, lighting up the walls, the floor and the ceiling. Slowly the glows cleared and scrap felt as if she was floating in the middle of a deep space, surrounded by galaxies and stars.

"It's beautiful." She whispered to herself.

"Affirmative." Said a voice from behind, snatching her up in a slow hug, pressing into her back.

Scrap had no fear or worry about the voice or the actions. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, and she enjoyed the contact.

But something was different about him, and she had a feeling had knew what. Her hand held his as it rested on her stomach. She felt at once that her hunch was right.

"You don't have your armour on, do you Soundwave?"

Soundwave tightened his grip on her. "Affirmative."

Scrap paused. "Can I see?"

He said nothing, just released her, stepping back away.

She licked her lips and turned slowly to look behind her. The lights were still partly dim, but some of them were growing and her eyes were adjusted to the light.

Soundwave didn't just not have his armour on: he didn't have his under suit on either. His entire top half was naked and bare.

Her hands almost at once reached out and touched his skin, pressing against a hardened abs and feeling his muscles tense at the contact. Her fingers slid over his chest, noticing the faint raised scars on his skin showing where medics had meld his flesh together.

As her fingers graced around his neck, she felt a cold touch of metal and looked to see that he was wearing a small piece of jewellery, a delicate looking heart pendant with a small key hole in the middle. She laughed lightly, touching it around his neck. "They are a matching set." She said, reaching up to her own charm and holding the key to compare them. They were both the same silver, the same detailed engraving and the same sparkling diamond in the middle. "You've been wearing this the whole time."

He nodded, squeezing her tight and making her drop the key, her hands instinctively moving to his shoulders before moving her fingers over his arms, working her grip down to his hands where they locked fingers with each other. Her head lifted to analysis the rest of him. She remembered how scared his face was but it still didn't bother her; she'd seen more scars in her medical studies and with Soundwave they were just features to make him more handsome. Part of her wanted to know the stories behind every scar. Leaving his face, she saw something she hadn't imagined in her secret moments.

Soundwave had thick irrationally styled hair, coloured a shocking blue, almost a manga like colour.

Scrap had her hand running back in it before she realised. It was so soft, like strands of feathers. She smiled, brushing it back in her fingers.

It was the purr that caught her attention, and she looked to the purple optics of the man she had been, more or less, groping and found his head rolled towards her and his optics closed, appearing to almost be asleep pardon the clear pleasure based sounds he was releasing.

She smiled and continued with her administrations but leant towards him, wanting to take full in every atom of the mech who had proclaimed her as 'his' the last time they met.

She'd spent days trying to work out what it meant, but now she had full intention of seeing if she was right.

She carefully leant over to his revealed neck and leant into it, teasing her nose up the side of his jugular and placing small butterfly kisses on his skin. Another pleasurable sound came from the normally silent creature, and his free hand found her hip, nails scrapping into the cloth.

Guess I hit the sweet spot. Scrap thought to herself as she continued kissing his neck, each time as lightly and as gently as she dared. Fire was all well and good, but she liked men who relaxed and enjoyed longer games.

Soundwave struck her as that kind of man.

He had kissed her just three days before, and since then, she had wanted nothing more than to kiss him back.

Pure instinct made her lips close too quickly, and her teeth catch on his skin but her shock was too much to control it. Soundwave's hand had found the gap between her top and her jeans and now was pressed against her spine. "Ahh." She gasped and clung to him. "Soundwave, your hands are cold!"

Soundwave didn't stop in touching her flesh, his icy fingers drawing circles on her skin. He took his head off the wall and pressed it to her neck instead, kissing it in a similar fashion to how she had been kissing him, working his way up to her ear where he nibbled and listened to her hiss of pleasure and pain. "Turn: Soundwave's." He whispered to her then turned to roll her so her back was against the wall.

She mumbled some kind of human curse on him, but it was silent against his lips. The cheeky mech was teasing her again, kissing her in short bursts making her feel cheated with each one.

His hand on her back grew confident as he made his way up, dragging the fabric with him. When it began rubbing against her shoulder blades, Scrap made a very bold move and pushed him back as she removed the garment and threw it to the floor.

Soundwave didn't have chance to look before she pounced off the wall and onto him. Bare chest himself he could feel she still had something on her, but the skin he could feel was warm and soft.

He smiled against her lips. He definitely liked his femme's body, even if that wasn't what drew him to her. Arms tightly around her sides, Soundwave pulled her into his chest, backing away from the wall and falling onto the bed with her under him. She laughed at the action, her arms around his neck as he came crashing down onto her lips, snatching them up while his fingers traced the side of her skin, causing her to moan under him.

He just kept on top of her, moving back and forth as his weight kept her down. Her hands messed with his hair and brushed over his neck, her lips crushing him back with the same force him he was applying to her.

Half groaning, half gasping, Scrap broke away from the kiss, her head turned to the side as she tried to get her breath back, but that didn't stop the man as he went to her neck instead, nibbling at her jugular instead.

"Ahh, S…Soundwave." She moaned, her hands closing tightly on his back, her nails scratching on his skin.

The silent mech wasn't silent as he groaned against her, letting go of her neck and returning to her lips, this time slipping his tongue between her lips.

Their little make out session went on for a while, moaning, groaning and both being very tender. Finally, Soundwave sighed, his breath tickling her cheeks before rolling to his back, arms around Scrap's back, pulling her to side, snuggling his nose into her hair while her arms wrapped around him.

He lay on his back for a long time, just looking up at the swirls of light around them. Exhausted, his eyes closed and soon felt the call of sleep but before it could, he lifted his head up and looked at the human, curling and smiling in his arms. "Scrap: Medical duties."

Perking up, her eyes were drooped with exhaustion. "Humm?"

"Medical duties: on shift." He confirmed. "Return."

Taking a moment to think the human blinked then smiled. "Oh, no, I'm not on duty at the moment. After my training with Airachnid, I'm free." She groaned softly and leant back on him. "You?"

"Time designation: recharge."

"Then we can both stay here. As long as you don't mind, I know you don't use this room much."

"Objection: none. Recharge."

She smiled, leaning down to his chest. "Alright." In the silence and with her eyes closed, Scrap pressed her ear to his chest and listened to the soft rumbling under it. Normally she would expect to hear a heartbeat, but what she could hear was softer, deeper and had an irregular, three part beat to it. His spark. She decided, curling up to it, his warmth enough for her.
