I AM SO SORRY FOR DISAPPEARING FOR LIKE A MONTH!
I keep forgetting to write on this chapter for some reason! I've had it half written for weeks and today I am finally finishing the chapter! So here's an extra long chapter just for making you all wait!

Chapter 20
A Sea of Memories
Kate POV
"Loading Completed! We'll launch the cargo ship in two minutes! Guards, keep close watch!" A read headed admin shouted.
"Aye, aye, sir!" The siren unit shouted before running off to go keep watch. "Okay, to review, what was the procedure if an intruder is spotted? If it's a big one, truss 'em up. If it's a little one, kick 'em out!
I looked over at Kellyn before whispering. "We have to be very careful, Kellyn... We can't risk being caught! We have to get on that boat if it's the last thing we ever do, okay."
Kellyn nodded his head. "Got it... Now we have to dodge this Dim Sun jerks! Two minutes isn't a very long time!"
We both took deep breaths before before we started sneaking around. We quickly and quietly tailed one grunt after another hiding behind cargo crates to keep from being spotted until we were walking up the ramp to the ship... It only took us around 30 seconds to get to the ramp. Right when we were about the enter I felt myself getting thrown down the ramp by some force... Kellyn landed next to me.
"Kate? You alright?" Kellyn gritted his teeth before standing up rubbing his head.
"Yeah. I'm fine... What was that?" I grumbled standing up. I looked up the ramp to see two Dim Sun Grunts running down towards us.
"Don't get cocky! And don't get on that ship!" One shouted. "You eluded our vigilant network of guards!?"
"The Cargo ship is leaving for a secret destination! We'll knock you out so you can't come after us!" The other shouted.
I watched as one of the grunts pulled out a Miniremo and sicked two Beedrill and a Gloom on us.
Kellyn took care of the Beedrill while I took on the Gloom.
"Capture complete." I sighed as I watched the Pokemon run off.
The Miniremo blew up causing the two grunts to panic.
"We reported that a real Ranger was on the loose..." One frowned.
"Those Siren Unit ninnies brushed us off, saying you're just a kid... This is what we get now..." The other said quickly.
I then heard a voice over the loud speaker... a very familiar voice. "Er-hem! Ahem! This is your captain speaking! The cargo ship will now depart for our hideout! All crews, report to your stations!"
I looked over at Kellyn who looked just as panicked as me before we both shoved the two grunts out of the way and bolted onto she ship just as the ship set sail.
"Good... We made it..." I sighed.
"Yeah. Now let's go find Barlow. He has to be somewhere on this thing." Kellyn smiled.
The two of us hid behind some crates when we heard some grunts talking.
"This is the Kingston Valve? It looks like a gigantic drain plug if you ask me. Not a valve." One of the grunts said.
"Yeah, that's what it is, A giant plug. You yank it out, seawater will flood the ship, and down she sinks. If that plug comes out, it'd be almost impossible to put back into place. You'd need Machoke-level strength to muscle it back down." The other said.
"Kate. You wait here." He told me, gently pushing me farther behind the crate.. "We don't need them to know that there's two of us yet..."
Kellyn ran over to them, surprising me. Since when had he been so rash...? I blinked.
"What the...?! What's a Ranger doing here?! Our Siren Unit missed this intruder? Were they asleep on the job? We'll double-team the sneak with a double miniremo assault!" One shouted.
I watched from my hiding spot as the two grunts pulled our Miniremo's and sicked two Machoke on my brother... I watched Kellyn easily capture the two Pokemon and the miniremo's exploded causing the grunts to panic.
"Not only are you a stowaway, but you had to beat up, too!" One shouted.
"We're reporting you to out higher-ups!"
And with that the twosome ran off somewhere.
"Okay Katie. The coast is clear." He smiled towards where I was hiding.
I walked out from behind the crate and frowned at him with my hands on my hips. "Why'd you do that?"
"I just thought it'd be better for them to only think there is one stowaway, rather than two... for now anyway... Sorry if that upset you..." He smiles meekly.
"It's okay Kellyn." I smiled. "Come on! We need to hurry up and find Barlow and figure out what these Dim Sun jerks are up to."
"Yeah!" He nodded his head before the two of us quietly made our way around this maze of a ship.
As we walked we saw a Dim Sun Grunt abusing a cute little Mime Jr.
"Kellyn... do you think that's the Mime Jr. the Elder was telling us about?" I questioned.
He nodded his head looking quite angry.
"Heheh, didn't expect to find a Mime Jr. in Boyleland." The grunt laughed. "What a score you are! Hope this makes the captain happy!"
"Mime! Mime!" The mime Pokemon cried out. It seemed distressed.
"Kellyn... I've got this one..." I frowned. Kellyn nodded it head and stayed out of sight.
I ran up to the jerk face grunt and said. "What do you think you're doing to that Mime Jr?" I put my hands on my hips and glared.
"Wh-Wh-What are you doing here?! How did you sneak on board?! I'll show you the power of our Miniremo!" The grunt declared. "Hey, Mime Jr.! Throw this stowaway off the ship! Ticka-ticka-pappa, and enter." He said as he programed commands into the Miniremo.
Mime Jr. Ran towards me and attacked.
"Don't worry Mime Jr.! I'll save you! Capture on!" I quickly captured the mime Pokemon causing the Miniremo machine to explode. "Capture complete."
I shot a glare at the panicking guard.
"Urrrrrgggh... Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" He shouted before running off.
"Mime! Mime!" Mime Jr. Twirled around before running over to the door and jumped up and down as if to tell me to follow it.
"Mime Jr. is telling us to follow it..." I informed my brother.
"Let's follow him then! He might now where the other Pokemon are being held." Kellyn said walking over to me.
I nodded my head before walking towards the door the mime Pokemon ran through. The two of us explored the ship following Mime Jr for the longest time capturing a couple of Pokemon like Luxio and Machoke before we arrived at a door were a Blue Gigaremo was controlling a bunch of Pokemon. The Mime Jr. appeared to want us to rescue the Pokemon.
The two of us frowned before running into the room and asked Luxio to destroy the horrid machine! My ears were hurting... I really am sensitive to that awful sound. Once the machine was destroyed all the Pokemon calmed down and Mime Jr. ran into the room excited. The little Pokemon seemed so happy.
I watched as all the Pokemon ran off in different directions.
"Well at least all the Pokemon were okay." I smiled.
"So we've finished one thing. We found the missing Pokemon. Now we just have to find Barlow and figure out what Dim Sun is up too." He smiled before leading me farther into the ship.
As soon as we walked through the door we ran into a Dim Sun Minion.
"So! You must be the intruder! Wait! Now there are two intruders!? You're also Rangers?! What'll I do? What'll I do?!" The Dim Sun Grunt panicked looking around. "Oh, right, dud! Switch on the Gigaremo!" He ran off and over to the gold Gigaremo. "The dial's set to "LINE UP!" Hold it, that's not right! It has to be set to "ATTACK!" Sin that dial, clickety-clackety-boo!" The awful noise started coming from the machine and soon all the Pokemon were chasing us.
Kellyn took out his pokeball and tossed it out as we arrived at the machine. "Blaster use skull bash on that Gold Gigaremo thing!"
Blaster yelled out and destroyed the machine with skull bash.
We both let out a sigh of relief as the sound went away and the Pokemon calmed down. The two of us made our way through the puzzle of a room having Machoke attack lever after lever making our way through the room. We captured a Voltorb and asked it to use thunderbolt on the weird electrically locked door. I thanked the voltorb before releasing it.
The two of us walked through the door to see a horrible sight. A Electabuzz and a Magmar Running on Hamster wheels trapped behind a net.
"H-How Horrible!" I stammered sadly looking at them Pokemon.
"Yeah... really horrible..." Kellyn frowned.
"L-Let's so find a Pokemon that can cut the net!" I frowned rushing through a door only to find a fork in the road... Left or Right...
"Let's go Left." Kellyn said leading me to the left door. Behind the door we found a Dim Sun Grunt.
"You stealthy scoundrels, you! I won't allow you to abscond with the Pokemon we rounded up!" He shouted taking out a Miniremo sicking 3 Mareep on us.
Kellyn quickly captured the electric types seeming to be a little on edge... Kellyn is afraid of electric types for some reason and he wont tell me why... Though I guess I don't feel comfortable around them either... Daddy's the same way... Must be a weird mutual Sapphire Family fear...
The Miniremo exploded and the Mareep ran off.
"Oh, now you've gone and done it. I'm in for a dressing down from Captain." He ran towards us shoving us out of the way and running out of the room. After a few minutes of looking around this area of the ship we found a room with Raticate.
"I bet a Raticate could chew through the net!" I exclaimed capturing the Pokemon.
The two of us plus the Raticate ran back towards the distressed running Pokemon and asked it to cut up the wire fence.
The Wire Fence was quickly cut up into tiny fragments.
"Thank you so much Raticate!" I smiled before releasing the Pokemon.
The two Pokemon realized that they were free and cheered.
Me and Kellyn looked to each other and smiled.
"Let's capture them just in case they could be of some help." He said.
"Okay! I'll capture Electabuzz and you can capture Magmar." I smiled.
"Got it!"
The two of us quickly captured the Pokemon.
"I guess it's time to check out the Left side of the ship." My brother smiled walking through the door and towards the unexplored left side of the ship.
I nodded my head before the two of us walked into a dark room.
"Who's there!? Some knucklehead of a Dim Sun?! Or would that be a Team Dim Sun good? It's too dark to tell you creeps apart!" I heard Barlow's voice come from inside the pitch black room.
"Barlow? That you? Where are you? It's me Kate. Kellyn's here too!" I said into the darkness...
"Wha- You... Kate?! Kellyn?! Wh-What are you two doing here?" Barlow cried out in shock.
"Crawford told us that you went missing and sent the two of us to come search for you." Kellyn explained.
"Oh, right! You're my rescuers! Excellent! First things first: it's too dark to see! You've got to do something about that. After all, you can't clear a target if you can't see it." He informed us.
Electabuzz cried out.
"Was that an electabuzz cry? An Electabuzz can use flash to brighten up the room!" Barlow seemed happy.
"Alright! Electabuzz use flash please!" I smiled as the Pokemon happily obliged. "Thank you Electabuzz!" I smiled before releasing it.
"Ow... that's bright." Barlow whined. "It beats the darkness, though. Being in the dark brings me down. I wish you never saw me this way, though. Being roped up a smidgeon tightly... Ollie put up with it without a peep. Tough guy. I'd like to be free and get moving. If anyone can snap this rope, I'd say it's Big Bertha or that daddy of yours and no one else. It looks like we'll need a Pokemon to help us with this, too." I noticed how embarrassed he looked... I felt bad for him.
"I'll go look for a Pokemon that can cut these ropes! You stay with Barlow Kate." He smiled before running off.
I attempted to loosen the ropes on my own but to no avail.
I sighed.
Kellyn came running into the room with a Raticate. "Okay Raticate! Cut through those Ropes for me okay!"
The Pokemon cried out and chewed through the ropes setting our leader free.
"Thanks Raticate!" The two of us smiled before the Pokemon ran off.
Barlow jumped for joy, "Thanks. Even in my wildest dreams, I never thought you two would be rescuing me."
I stepped forward and gave Barlow his styler. "Here Barlow. I think this is yours."
"Hey! This is my Styler! It burns me to think I had the Ranger's symbol taken from me... It tells me I need to be better." Barlow frowned looking really bummed out. "First things first. Switch on the Styler." He turned his styler on and looked through it. "There's a lot of new mail in the inbox. People were trying to get in touch with me..." Leader looked so sad. "...Huh? An incoming message already."
His Syler rang loud and clear. "Voicemail! Voicemail! Crawford calling from the Ranger Union! Your Styler started transmitting again! The twins much have joined you. All of your location signals are coming in clearly. If there's any problem, inform us by voicemail, please." Crawford's voice softened a bit. "...Leader, I'm glad you're safe!"
Barlow began pacing the room. "I've caused everyone a lot of worry with all of this... My Makuhita suffered because of me, too. I'm sorry, dude." He frowned turning to his partner Pokemon.
"Maku!" The Pokemon jumped and ran over to him.
"They've done it now. Team Dim Sun's not getting away with this. I'd say it's about time for Mr. Barlow's counterattack to begin! We'll have to wrest control of the ship first. We'll go to the ship's bridge and take command!" Barlow smirked.
"Got it!" Me and Kellyn nodded our heads.
I went to open the door but it was locked... "The door won't open, sir."
"That calls for a Target Clear. Hey, You two. Slide out of the way, will you?" Barlow said.
The two of us moved away from the door and watched as Barlow backed up and did his Ranger pose before crying out. "Target Clear!"
We watched as he rammed through the door with no problems what so ever!
"What is this room?" We heard him say. "Hey, twins! Come over here!"
"What is with people calling us "twins" instead of our names..." Kellyn sighed before walking out the door and into another room.
"I don't know..." I sighed following him.
The second I walked into the room I was hit in the face with an awful yet familiar smell...
"This looks like the captain's quarters. It's got to be the Captain we're after." Barlow informed before sniffing. "What is this sweet smell? I think there was an extra-hold kind of hairspray that smelled like this."
"Hairspray..." I mumbled to myself... I remember this smell but I just cant seem to put a finger on it. I looked around the room and saw many familiar looking clothes. "All this stuff looks eerily familiar..."
"Yeah... I agree..." Kellyn frowned.
"Let's get out of here..." Barlow frowned before walking out of the room followed by us.
The three of us walked down the long L-shaped hallway only to be stopped by some whiny Dim Sun grunt.
"The b-b-big Ranger's broken out! Help, someone! I need backup!" The grunt cried out before taking out a Miniremo.
Another grunt came up to us from behind. "This is it for you! There's no way out now!" The other grunt took out a Miniremo too.
"Tsk, they spotted us... We'll have to take the challenge. I'll take this side, you two take that one!" Barlow ordered.
Me and Kellyn turned towards one Dim Sun Grunt who sicked three Magcargo on us.
Barlow was capturing two Magmar. While me and Kellyn were working on the Margcargo. Soon all the Pokemon were caught and they all ran off in opposite directions.
The Miniremo's exploded causing the grunts to panic and run off.
"I'll go get help! You hold them back!" One grunt shouted.
"Don't leave me alone with them! I'll go get help! You stay here!" The other shouted.
"This is what we'll do: We'll both go get help!" One said panicked.
"That's a brilliant idea! Let's put it into action!" The other shouted.
And with that they bolted away.
The three of us just shrugged before walking down the hall towards a door.
"You two ready?" Barlow turned to us preparing to walk through the door.
"Yes sir!" The two of us said quickly nodding our heads.
"Wartor!" 'Let's get em!' Blaster cried out happily. I almost forgot that he was out of his Pokeball...
"Oops... I almost forgot Aqua's in her pokeball! She must be seriously upset with me!" I face palmed before letting the irritated squirtle out of her ball. "Sorry Aqua..."
"Squir!" 'Meanie!" The Pokemon cried before perching itself on my head.
With that I sighed and walked through the door onto the deck of the ship.
The second we walked onto the metal deck the horn sounded. Barlow Pointed to a door that was just up a flight of stairs.
"The captain has to be in there." He told us before running towards the door.
The three of us plus our partners began walking to the stairs.
"The bridge is above here. There's no telling what this Captain of theirs will spring on us. You ready?" Barlow questioned.
"Yes I'm ready." Kellyn stated.
"Me too." I nodded my head.
"All right! Let's move!" Barlow stated.
Right when we were about to walk up the stairs the door opened and an unexpected face calm waltzing out. It was none other than... Mr. Kinkaid?
"...Well, what a surprising guest we have. If it isn't Kate. Oh and Kellyn too! How surprising. You haven't been running in the ship's hallways, have you? If you have I'd have to give you detention." He chuckled darkly. "We haven't met since graduation, have we? Perhaps you don't even recall who I am. I was, after all, only teaching the class next to yours. Though I must admit Kate, you were always an interesting girl. Mysteriously washing up on the shore of the schools courtyard. Not remembering anything but you and that bratty Pokemon, Squirtles, names. I wish I had the privilege to teach you instead of that witch Ms. April. You were so impressionable back then. I could have formed you into a perfect admin for this team. You are certainly capable of it. But I only played at being Mr. Kinkaid, the teacher. My true identity is..." He shed his yellow and red clothes to have a black and purple Dim Sun-esk costume on underneath. "Team Dim Sun's guiding light! Mr. Kinkaid!"
I nearly dropped my styler. "Mr. Kinkaid..." I gasped out... What was he saying... Me be a member or Team Dim Sun... Impossible. Not going to happen ever.
"You've certainly come a long way to be confronting me. Though I expected no less from you Miss Catriona Sapphire. You were never like that Unruly Keith. I would never expect him to make it this far... never from the one who ran in hallways and snuck around where they didn't belong. You were always the good girl. Always doing as told. Ms. April and Principal Lamont used to go on and on about what a perfect angel you were. Said you were a good boy too, Kellyn. Though to be honest. I never quiet cared for you." He chuckled. "But, I'm afraid, your journey ends here. Fufufu..."
I stared up at the man with a fierce look in my eyes until I heard the side doors opening and 8 Dim Sun Grunts running out towards us.
The three of us rushed towards the grunts ready to fend them off.
"Kinkaid! You knew we were coming!" Barlow growled.
"You thought we wouldn't notice? Minions! Take care of them!" The Blonde hair spray head man shouted.
"Aye, aye, sir!" They all shouted before two grunts pulled out Miniremo's and sicked 4 Rhyhorn's on us.
The three of us quickly captured the Pokemon and sent them on their merry ways.
This caused the minions to panic and shout. "We're sorry, Captain! We're too ashamed to face your anger, so we'll swim home!" They shouted before jumping ship.
"Very well. Let those incompetents go. Their absence will lighten the ship's load and reduce it's fuel consumption." Kinkaid sighed. "...I must admit, you three are better than I'd expected. Perhaps you did glean somethings useful from the Ranger School."
I noticed 8 more grunts running through the doors forming a semi circle around us.
"But, to everything, there is always a limit. Fufufu..." He chuckled darkly.
"How many of these clowns are there?" Barlow clenched his fists. "It's like there's an unlimited supply! I'll go after Kinkaid! Your two deal with the small fry."
"Get them!" Kinkaid shouted.
Me and Kellyn faced the grunts while Barlow ran over to Kinkaid.
"You're gonna get it, hairspray head!" Barlow shouted running toward him.
Two admin sicked three Skunky on us.
I glanced back to see Kinkaid talking to Barlow, a tough looking Drapion standing next to him.
"Hah! A mere Area Ranger is going to defeat this Drapion?" He laughed.
"I'm not going to defeat it! I'm going to befriend it!" Barlow declared before starting to try and capture the Drapion.
I turned to my own capture, me and Kellyn caught the Skunky with ease.
The Miniremo's exploded causing the minions to panic like the last batch.
"We're sorry, Captain! We're too ashamed to face your anger, so we'll swim home!" They shouted before jumping ship. Wow they yelled the exact thing as the last batch.
"Waaaaah!" We heard Barlow shout. I quickly turned to see Barlow getting thrown down the stairs with a busted up Styler. Everything was silent.
"You deserve kudos for your bravado, but clearly, you lack the ability." Kinkaid stated.
Barlow looked to the ground in despair. "I'm useless... My Styler's broken." He sounded so sad... Something about it made me angry... angry at Kinkaid.
"Fwahahahhahaha!" Kinkaid laughed. "So, where is your pumped-up bravado now? This is the power of our new Miniremo! The Miniremo is nothing like the crude and infernally heavy Gigaremo! Not only is it compact and portable, but it has over a hundred commands! Kate you nay be interested to know who developed the Miniremo. It was a youth, a boy really, about your age." I felt a pang in the pit of my stomach. "That boy was, and is, a genius of the sort that comes along once a century, if that." No please don't tell me it's... "To recruit that genius, I'd taken a position at the Ranger School. Does that surprise you?"
I gritted my teach... I could only think of one boy genius that was at the Ranger School... and that was Isaac... and Kellyn seemed to come to the same realization by the dark look on his face.
"You used the Ranger school for that!? How low can you go?!" Barlow shouted.
"Fwahahahaha! Say what you will. Now let us begin your final lesson. Fufufu..." Kinkaid chuckled. "Go, Drapion! Show them no mercy!"
"Kellyn... You take care of Barlow. I'll deal with the Drapion alright." I stated with a dark look on my face.
"Got it!" Kellyn said, with an understanding glance before going to help Barlow.
"CAPTURE ON!" I quickly started one of the hardest captures of my Ranger career, dodging poison gas and poison spikes as well as the occasional sludge! But after a few minutes the Pokemon was captured.
"Capture... complete..." I panted exhausted.
The Miniremo exploded and the Drapion ran off.
"Gah... I seem to have underestimated you, Kate... To all crew members! This is your captain speaking!" Kinkaid began walking into a walkee talkee. "This is an emergency! The crew chief on C Deck is ordered to pull out the Kingston Valve! All other crew members are to abandon ship on their own initiative! Abandon ship, and swim!"
Two red haired admins ran out of the steering room.
"Rangers, do you understand the significance of the Kingston Valve? Its removal will flood the ship, taking all evidence of our plan to a watery grave! This will be your final resting place! And for the Pokemon on board, too!"
The boat shook violently.
"Bon Voyage, Pokemon Rangers!" Kinkaid laughed before being carried off by his Gliscor.
"Oh, hey! That's not fair; Captain gets to fly!" One grunt shouted.
"Captain's always been that way with us. We have no choice but to jump in and swim!" And with that the two admins ran and jumped ship.
"That sneak's really done it now! Kate, Kellyn, We're going to save the ship, Pokemon and all!" Barlow announced. "I've never handled a ship this size before, but we're out of options!"
The three of us ran into the control center.
"This is bad, though. The closest port is Pueltown but I don't think we can stay afloat long enough." Barlow gritted his teeth. "You can tell we're already starting to take on water, right? My styler's out of commission. We'll use the ship's radio to sound the alarm." Barlow said as he ran around like a mad man. The pressed some buttons and started talking. "Crawford, come in! This is Barlow! Do you read me? We've taken command of Team Dim Sun's cargo ship! But the Ships sinking. I'm not sure if the ship will make it to Pueltown. In other words, this radio message could be my final words. Wahaha!" Barlow forced a laugh. He's trying to be funny in this serious situation.
"This is Crawford! That's not like you, Barlow. And, as a joke, it's the worst! You've got to reach shallow waters and beach the ship! If you can't do that in time, abandon ship, and save yourselves!" I heard Crawford say over the radio.
There was a crash and a boom nearly knocking us all off our feet.
"That's if there are any shallows. I'm going to end this transmission. My last words were only a joke. You just watch! We'll save the Pokemon on board! You don't seriously think we're going to leave the Pokemon and save ourselves?! This is Barlow, over and out!" Barlow said quickly ending the transmission. "If we could somehow slow the sinking long enough to find a place to beach..."
"The Kingston Valve!" Me and Kellyn shouted in sync.
"If we get a Machoke to punch the valve back in..." Kellyn started in a whispered tone to me
"Then the ship will stop sinking." I said softly and with that the two of us sprinted to the door.
"Kate? Kellyn? Where are you going?" Barlow asked as if he hadn't heard our shout. We quickly explained our plan "To put the Kingston Valve back in? I get it...You're getting a Machoke's help. It might be futile, but it sure beats watching my sorry efforts to sail this ship. But the way this ship's taking on water, your time limit's... four minutes! Twins, hurry! Run through the hallways!" He shouted!
Me and Kellyn quickly made our ways out of the room in a hurry.
The two of us bolted through the hallways in a frenzy!
We ran past at least 20 Dim Sun Grunts and terrified Pokemon after terrified Pokemon. Kinkaid had put everyone in serious danger! Even his own men! What a nut job! Kellyn caught a Machoke as we frantically ran through the hallways.
"We have to hurry or we'll all-!" I said as I ran... Was this fear? I'm scared... I don't want to die!
"We won't Kate! We'll make it! We have to!" Kellyn shouted as he ran as fast as he could.
After what seemed like forever we finally made it to the large plug... I glanced at the clock as saw that we only had 10 seconds left. The whole room was full of water.
"Oh no! Hurry Machoke! Punch the Valve back in place! Please!" We shouted watching the Pokemon tackle the plug with so much force it went back into place.
"W-We did it!" I shouted feeling an enormous about of joy. Me and Kellyn quickly hugged each other in tears.
Elsewhere on the Ship with Barlow
"Huh? Yes! It's working! The ship's not taking on water like before! They really did it! Now there's more time to find somewhere to beach this thing!" Barlow let out a proud sigh of relief. The whole room was full of Pokemon. "Shoals... Come on, where are they? I've got a ship to run aground!"
"Maku! Maku!" Makuhita shouted seeing something.
"There! A small island at three o'clock! There's even a pier! Way to spot that Makuhita!" Barlow grinned. "That pier's just a tiny spit of wood, but that's there this ships landing!" He ran back to steering the ship. "We have to crank it to the right! Hold on, Pokemon! The ship's going to keel over hard! Rubbers hard astarboard!" He shouted before spinning the wheel so hard that the boat nearly turned on it's side.
With Kellyn and Kate
"WOAH!" I cried out as the ship suddenly tilted to the side causing me to fall into the deep pool of water followed by a horrible crash.
"KATE!" I heard my brother shout as I hit the water.
My head slammed into a metal crate cutting my head open and causing a lot of blood to seep into the water. It was as if in that one second everything flooded back into my mind.
"NO! CATRIONA!" My brother shouted diving into the water to pull me up from the bottom of the water filled room.
Memories I never remember experiencing flooded into my head... I remembered... EVERYTHING... Mermaids, I'm a mermaid. Mother, my mothers dead, that reoccurring dream was my mother. Guardians of the Sea, I'm a guardian of the sea. Kyogre... Who's protecting Kyogre? That's my job... Kyogre's rage! The Sea Temple, Arceus Changing me into a human, the prophesy, my childhood, Manaphy... where...? Where's manaphy?! He must be so worried! Everything's coming back to me now.
I'm Catriona Sapphire, I was born and raised in the Eastern Kanto Sea. Mommy died when I was 5 years old. I didn't speak for a long time after that. When I was 10 years old, me, Kellyn and daddy traveled onto land with the help of a special stone Arceus gave us to let us travel on land. But we can't use it too often or we'll get sick. We traveled Kanto for around 3 years. Kellyn collected Gym badges for fun, I did Contests and Daddy pretended he was a bad ass biker. That was before daddy married, Thessalonike, well I guess she goes by Elizabel now. Now that I think about it. Daddy went by Alexander when we were traveling Kanto too. He always liked that name more than his real name, Acharyu. I remember having so much fun when we traveled Kanto. However after a while we returned to the sea and papa married Elizabel... and had Kyra a year or so later. Kellyn was so resentful of daddy... and Elizabel. I never understood why. Me and Kellyn trained to be guardians of the Sea and then there was my accident... that led to where we are now...
To think just bumping my head would make me remember such crucial details of the past.
My eyes went wide as Kellyn pulled my head above the water... "Kate? Kate are you alright?!"
"Yes Kellyn... I'm more than fine..." I felt warm tears fill my eyes as I dug my face into his neck as he held be above the water.
He blinked looking confused but he smiled warmly at me all the same.
I'll tell him about my newly regained memories when we get back to the base.
"Sis your head's bleeding..." Kellyn frowned rubbing my back.
"I'll be fine..." I smiled tiredly... today has certainly been a long day.
Ranger School
(Normal POV)
"Do you know why this place is called Ascension S quare?" A male student asked.
"Of course I do. It's because students share their dreams here, then set off into the great big world." A female student stated.
"That's exactly right. And when we've grown up in the world, it's Principal Lamont's hope that we return..." He smiled before looking panicked. "H-Hey... do you see that...?"
"Hmm... You mean the big menacing ship charging towards us..." The girl sounded scared.
"Let's go get help!" He said before running towards the school just as the ship crashed into the pier.
Soon Principal Lamont and Ms. April came running towards the ship.
"What's going on here?! What is that giant ship doing here?!" Ms. April shouted.
As she said that Crawford and Luana came running up behind them.
"I have to hand it to you, Barlow! That was an incredible display of split-second decision making!" Crawford said.
"The pier seems to have been inadequate for the role..." Principal Lamont frowned. "What exactly is taking place?"
"This cargo ship was used by Team Dim Sun. they were using it to abduct Pokemon and transport their Gigaremo machines. Barlow and the twins discovered what the ship was used for. However, when defeated, Team Dim Sun abandoned the ship. But they also tried to scuttle the ship with the Pokemon still on board. To save the Pokemon, Barlow and the twins had to run the ship aground. I'm sorry to say that the ship ran over your pier... On the bright side, all the Pokemon have been saved!" Crawford informed.
"That's wonderful!" Ms. April cheered.
"I'm happy to see they were successful at ramming the pier!" Principal Lamont laughed. "Don't worry, The pier is of no concern. We got to witness the outstanding courage and decisiveness of three graduates. It's another example of model behavior we can present to our students. Incidentally, where is Kate, Kellyn and Barlow?" He questioned with a frown.
"They can't me..." Ms. April said with an air of dread.
"That was a rough crash..." Crawford began.
"Stop that! Our leader isn't that fragile! And neither are Kate and Kellyn!" Luana shouted.
A pained groan came from the wreckage... and out came crawling a soaking weak Kellyn covered in cuts and bruises holding a soaking wet, bleeding and bruised Kate... "Hey guys..." He said before collapsing to the ground in a heap of exhaustion,
"Kellyn, Kate! I'm glad to see you're both safe." Crawford stated with a grin before helping Kellyn back to his feet.
"I am so tired..." Kellyn whined before smiling at Crawford. "You didn't think me and Katie would go down for the count so fast now did you?" He laughed.
"Yeah... We way be beaten up and need some medical attention! But don't go signing our death certificates and planning our funerals so fast!" Kate weakly laughed as she forced herself to her feet.
"Now just were is Barlow?" Crawford frowned before the ships horn sounded and Barlow was seen crawling on top of the navigation rooms, room.
"Hey! Up here!" He shouted before doing his Ranger Pose, Makuhita by his side. "Kate! Kellyn! Mission Clear!
The twosome then happily did their Ranger poses albeit tiredly followed by Luana who proudly stated with a thumbs up. "See? What I tell you!?"
And with that the Vientown Rangers returned home to the base.
Ranger Base
Kate POV
I laid in my bed half asleep thinking about everything that had happened today... and I knew... I have to tell Kellyn I remember everything! He's going to be so happy... I can't hold it in any longer.
"Kellyn? You awake?" I said softly.
"Hmm? Yeah I am? What is it Katie? Can't sleep?" He sat up frowning.
"Kellyn... I have something I need to tell you..." I smiled warmly.
"Yeah?" He questioned with a smile.
"I can remember everything now! I guess that knock to the head..." I said gesturing to the bandages wrapped around my head. "Finally knocked the memories back into my head!"
"You what?!" He nearly shouted bolting over to me. "Y-You really remember? E-Everything?!" I could hear a mix between intense joy and some other unreadable emotion in his voice... I noticed tears forming in his eyes. "You remember that we're-"
"Mermaids..." I smiled. "We're guardians of the sea... and we're from the eastern Kanto sea." I stated with a smile.
This caused Kellyn to break down into tears and hug me close. "You really remember! Thank Arceus above!" He cried. I've never seen him so happy. "Aqua, Blaster!" He yelled. "She remembers!"
This caused the Pokemon to cheer and hug onto me too.
"I'm sorry I caused you so much trouble brother... I guess I hit my head when Kyogre sent me flying..." I smiled weakly... "But don't worry... Catriona's back and better than ever!" I grinned at him. "And I'm going to protect Almia and the Temple of the sea if it's the last thing I ever do!" I declared.
I notice a grin spread across his face when I said that. "With the help of me of course!"
"Right! And Manaphy if we can ever find him!" I sighed. "Manaphy probably has no clue I'm in Almia does he...?"
"Yeah... Not a Clue..." He sighed... "We can send the Pokemon to grab him for us... It'll be difficult to get the sea temple if you don't have the prince."
"But for now... Let's get some sleep... I'm exhausted." I yawned.
"Yeah..." He laughed before climbing under my covers.
"Guess we are all sharing a be tonight!" I laughed before hugging onto Squirtle. "I wish our other Pokemon were here... I really miss Calypso and Aquarius... And everyone else..."
"Yeah... We really need to just start carrying them around on our waists or in a backpack or something..." Kellyn sighed. "I really hate being separated from our Pokemon."
"Well we can stop by Daddies tomorrow. He'll love to know that I got my memory back..." I smiled before snuggling Aqua. "Night Kellyn."
"Night Kate. It's great to have you back." He said.
"Trust me... it's great to be back..."
And with that we all slept through the night.

It's heard to catch common spelling errors when half the story thinks I'm spelling things wrong because of Pokemon names! XD Well I might start on chapter 21 tomorrow alright! But for now I'm exhausted and I need some beauty sleep!
