Alright everyone, so I have a question...

There's another Inu story that I'm thinking of working on, and I was wondering if you guys would be interested in reading it if I posted ch. 1 of it, kind of ike an introduction... It's gonna be so drama filled and i really love the idea...

Chapter 21: Vampire Diaries For Days

Trees.

I was surrounded by trees, but... these weren't any ordinary trees... these were the Death Valley trees.

"What am i doing back here?" I asked out loud.

No one answered me. Then I remembered.

"SOUTA?!" My brother wasn't anywhere near me.

Oh god.. where was my brother? I have to find him! I ran through the trees and stayed on the path to Shikon Village.

"Souta! Are you out here?" I yelled into the smoggy air.

"Kagome..?" I heard a faint voice say.

"Who said that?" I stopped running.

"Kag...ome.."

"WHO'S THERE?!"

I was panicking. It wasn't a familiar voice saying my name. Who could it be?! I searched through the dead forest until I came across a little girl laying in a stream of brown water.

"Kagome.. You found me." The little girl said in a choked voice.

She smiled up at me with a sad smile. Who was this little girl and how did she know me?

"Who are you?" I crouched over her frail body.

"I am you." She pointed up at me.

My eyes widened. She was right. I analyzed her body and she was the exact replica of my 5 year old body.

"What? How..?"

Out from her dirty kimono she retrieved a small bundle. The bundle was crying and I snatched it from her.

"Souta!" He was a a baby again.

"We're dying, Kagome..."

She was correct once again. I could tell just by looking at both of them that their end was near.

"No, you can't die! What do I do?!"

"Heal."

My eyes snapped open. I was back in the janitors closet surrounded by crying people.

"Souta..?" I called out.

"Kagome?!" I could hear a girl yell out but that didn't concern me at the moment.

I tried to roll over to find my brother but my body was in pure agony.

"Aaaggghh." I moaned.

"Heal." My child voice repeated inside my head.

"HEAL" I yelled out and my body emitted a blue light.

I could feel my bones mending together again and I cried out in pain. My veins reconnected and my skin formed back together. It was painful but nothing compared to the agonizing torture I felt earlier.

"Miroku, what's going on?" I could hear Inuyasha ask.

"It would appear that Kagome is trying to heal herself in order to save herself and then Souta."

He wasn't wrong. I didn't really care about healing myself, but I knew i had to in order to get to my brother.

'Hold on Souta! Big Sister is gonna save you! I promise!'

At that thought, a final blast of blue light overtook my small body and healed the remains of what was broken and destroyed. As soon as i was able to move I moved to my brothers body.

"Souta!" I called to him, but he didn't even breathe.

His soul was already passing to the other side.

"I'M COMING SOUTA!"

I sent my spiritual energy into Souta's body and fought with the hell demons for his soul.

'HE'S MINE!' My soul hissed out to the demons.

'HE IS OURS!'

'NO!'

I shot all of my power into the battle and demolished all of the demons that wear in any proximity of his soul.

"He will always be mine. My brother... mine" I said out loud.

The last thing I saw before I fainted from overuse of power was Souta's awakening eyes.

"Kagome?!" He yelled but I was already on the verge of darkness.

"Kagome? kagome, can you hear me?" Someone was calling my name.

"Hmm?" I mumbled out.

"Oh thank god!" I felt someone hug me.

Slowly I began to open my eyes. I was in my room with a boys body on top of mine.

"Souta?" I groaned out.

He raised his head to look at me, tears in his eyes, "Yeah, sis. It's me."

I pulled him into a death grip hug and cried into his hair.

"I thought I lost you Souta! You were dead!" I cried out.

"it's alright, Kags. I'm here. Everything's gonna be alright."

We shared this sentimental moment for about thirty minutes fore Souta moved to lay beside me and flicked on the television.

"Wanna watch some netflix?" He asked as he scrolled through the shows that were in our queue.

"Vampire diaries?" I asked him with hope in my voice.

"NOPE!" he said and clicked on family Guy.

"Wow, that was salty." I pouted at him.

"Love ya!" He reached down and grabbed my hand with a genuine smile on his face.

"Love you too, loser."

We watched the new Family Guy episodes for like 3 hours before Souta went downstairs to make us some ramen.

"DO YOU WANT CHICKEN OR SPICY CHICKEN?" Souta yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"SPICY!" I yelled back to him.

"OKAY! BE UP IN A SEC!" After two minutes he walked up with two steaming bowls of ramen in his hands., "I'll be back with the drinks. Coke?"

I nodded and he took off for the drinks.

As we ate our food I finally managed to talk Souta into watching Vampire Diaries and that was how we spent the rest of our night.

"OH MY GOSH!" I squealed at Elena and Damon's cuteness.

"I am sooo glad she chose him over Stafan! I mean he's totes obv. the better choice!" Souta said to me.

I stared at him with shock written all over my face.

His eyes widened when he realized what he said and he screamed, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MEEEEEE?!"
