Kyoya sat on the stool next to the drink bar with his black book open in his hands. He watched the waves of the ocean lap onto the shore with a soft crashing sound and sighed content. After a moment, he gaze travelled across the beach.

Instead of making it just a member vacation like they had planned, the host club had decided on making it a customer centred weekend trip. Scattered along the private beach were the regular customers with their favourite host.

Tamaki sat by the rock pools, womanising his girls with his usual passionate and dreamy charm. Hikaru and Kaoru were playing a game of beach volleyball with a few of the girls and were obviously occasionally throwing in their brotherly love antics. Hani played among the sand accompanied by Mori and a few other girls. Haruhi sat under the shade of the umbrella while talking to a group of girls.

Kyoya smiled gently as his eyes landed on Claudia who stood by herself at the shore, watching the water kiss her ankles before slowly sliding back and soon after repeating the process. The look of awe on her face did not go by Kyoya as he jotted down the small observation. His expression softened as he looked up when he saw a small smile creep up onto face before she lightly kicked the water. Although he couldn't hear it but he knew she had laughed quietly judging by the slight shake of her shoulders.

"Why don't you go talk to her?"

Kyoya glanced to his right and came face to face with Tamaki, who looked at him with a knowing expression.

"What are you trying to say?" Kyoya asked blankly.

"Well...you're always looking at her," Tamaki stated, "and with a dazed expression."

"What does that prove?"

"I think you like her," Tamaki sighed before looking at his best friend seriously, "go and have normal people conversation with her."

"Tamaki," Kyoya's eyes narrowed at him ever so slightly, "that made absolutely no sense."

"Kyoya," Tamaki replied in the same way, "go and talk to her."

"Why are you so obsessed with me going to talk to Claudia? I've already talked to her on many occasions." Kyoya said.

Tamaki just sighed before looking over to where the red-head stood, which was now with a small group of girls. Kyoya followed his eyes and Tamaki looked back at his best friend.

"It's been at least a week since you actually talked to her and that doesn't include the usual greetings! Go and talk to her!" Tamaki waved his arms around angrily, "please go have a proper conversation with Claudia! Please!"

Kyoya sighed and the grip on his book tightened.

"Will it shut you up?"

Tamaki quickly nodded his head.

"...Fine." Kyoya grumbled

"Really? Yay!" Tamaki cheered before grinning.

Kyoya just shook his head before looking back at his book.

"You know, she seems kind of down..." Tamaki said softly.

"Maybe it's because Ryuu isn't here." Kyoya replied.

"But Claudia won't seem so sad anymore now that you are going to talk to her." Tamaki sighed as he walked off and Kyoya's head snapped up, "a proper conversation might I add!" Kyoya heard Tamaki say.

"Sad?" Kyoya mumbled but Tamaki was already too far away to hear.

'Is she sad because of me?'

"Aren't you going to swim Haruhi?"

"Ah...I prefer to watch." Haruhi smiled.

"Then we'll join you!" the group of girls replied.

"Why? You all have such cute swimsuits on, go play." Haruhi said with a charming smile and the group of girls blushed deeply.

"She natural alright." Claudia mumbled as she walked to Tamaki and the twins.

"That was a complete fail!" Hikaru exclaimed, falling onto a chair.

"He even brought our clients along!" Kaoru sighed, sitting beside him.

"Now now, I have everything planned," Tamaki sighed, "once evening fall, Haruhi and I will go out onto the beach..."

"Why aren't you wearing a swimsuit?" Hikaru asked Claudia casually as she stood beside him and Kaoru, completely ignoring Tamaki's ranting.

"What are you talking about? I am." Claudia replied.

"Then why is it covered with board shorts and loose crop top?" Kaoru asked.

Claudia looked down at herself and sighed.

"Well, I'm not much of a swimmer that's why. I prefer watching." Claudia replied looking back up. 'Plus... I don't know how they'd react to the tattoo..." she finished in her head.

"Still..." the twins sighed together, "at least you have a body unlike Haruhi, why not show it off?"

"STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR SISTER IN SUCH A LECHEROUS WAY!" Tamaki suddenly exclaimed and hit both boys on the head.

"Ouch!"

"Even if she does have a desirable body that is sculpted and toned DOES NOT mean you can talk about her in that way!" Tamaki yelled.

"You're as worse as them sempai." Claudia said blankly.

"What? I am not!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"I am going to join Haruhi now." Claudia said in a low voice as she walked off.

"But it is true..." one of the girls mumbled as she looked at Claudia and the three boys turned to her, "I wonder how she stays in such good shape..."

"She is a dancer after all," Kyoya spoke up, "it's only natural for her to maintain such a body."

"Thank god none of the male clients came...it would be torturous..." Kaoru mumbled.

Hikaru looked in his brother's direction, remembering the fact his twin had a crush on the red-head.

"Yeah, we'd have to put up with them." Hikaru added to his brother's relief.

Tamaki just shook his head in distaste before looking over to Haruhi, who stood with Honey and Mori. It was mostly just Haruhi and Honey digging for the various crustaceans they had already collected with Mori watching them. Claudia had walked off somewhere, several feet away from the various crustaceans and nowhere in sight.

Tamaki grinned as he picked a giant crab and walked over to Haruhi.

"Tell me Haruhi," he stated presenting the crab to her "isn't this crab...crabtivating?"

Haruhi just laughed before nodding.

However, a quite large one hundred legged critter began crawling out from the crab's shell. The clients paled before running away.

"CENTIPEDE!"

Claudia watched in amusement from where she stood as the girls ran away and had to hold back a snicker when Haruhi simply picked up the bug and threw it over the rocks. The twins walked over to Haruhi and leaned on her shoulders while the clients slowly neared. Claudia hung back until she was sure that Tamaki had put the crab away before she walked to the group. Kyoya glanced at her and noticed her complexion had paled ever so slightly.

"Now I know most girls aren't really the bug loving types..." Hikaru said.

"And we certainly didn't think that you were but..." Kaoru continued.

"Don't you think you could have been gentler on the little one?" they asked together.

"Relax...it takes more than that to kill a bug." Haruhi said with a wave of her hand.

"Haruhi is so cool~!" the clients swooned as they crowded near her.

Hikaru and Kaoru only looked at each other before walking away to join the rest of the host club.

"She isn't your normal girl is she?" they asked.

"Nope." Claudia answered with a slight shrug.

"Hey boss! You wanna play a game." They asked walking to him, and they caught his interest.

"It's the 'What's Haruhi weakness? Game'" they said simultaneously.

"That game sounds horrible..." Tamaki said quietly.

"I guess she wouldn't just tell anyone she wasn't close to..." the twins said and their expression darkened, "thankfully we're close to her aren't we?" they asked each other with a smug expression.

"What are the rules?" Tamaki exclaimed.

"Now that's more like it!" the twins smiled mischievously.

"The deadline's til sunset tomorrow." Hikaru said,

"Whoever finds out her weakness first wins." Kaoru finished.

"And I have the perfect prize." Kyoya said holding up several photos Haruhi from middle school.

The rest of the boys gasped loudly. Claudia just sighed and shook her head.

'Boys...' she thought with a laugh.

"HOW DID YOU GET THOSE PICTURES?"Tamaki exclaimed as he tried to look at the pictures.

"Kyo-chan, how did you get those pictures?" Honey asked.

"I have my sources." Kyoya simply replied before tucking the pictures away safely in his shirt pocket.

'Probably uncle...' Claudia said in her head.

"But then wouldn't Matsu-chan have a weakness as well?" Honey asked.

"She's afraid of everything." Kaoru answered.

"Am not!" Claudia exclaimed.

"Really ?" Kaoru asked amused.

Claudia just pouted before crossing her arms.

"Only reason I got scared was because you sneaked up on me!" she said in her defence.

"Okay then, how about a bonus prize?" Kyoya said with a smirk, "whoever can find Claudia's weakness as well gets a prize." he finished holding up a picture of Claudia.

"W-when did you get that?" Claudia asked.

"Again, I have my resources." Kyoya just smirked before tucking the picture away.

"Right men!" Tamaki exclaimed, "Until sunset!"

"Right!" they all exclaimed except Kyoya and Mori.

"Good luck." Claudia smirked.

Number 1: Paranormal fear strategy

Hikaru and Kaoru walked into the damp cave. Following them were a small group of very brave girls and just behind them, Haruhi and Claudia.

"They say this is the most haunted spot in Okinawa. The locals don't even come here..." Kaoru said in a low voice.

"They saw the only way you can find this cave is during low tide..." Hikaru said, "Consequently, many have died in this place from drowning..." he said coming to a stop.

Haruhi just watched blankly as the other girls besides Claudia shiver frightened.

"And their souls still linger...taking revenge on anyone who happens to come inside." Hikaru continued.

"Look!" Kaoru exclaimed as a ghoul prop popped up.

Claudia jumped slightly as the girls screamed and grabbed onto her but nothing more than that. Haruhi however stayed calm, even when a skeletal hand grabbed onto her shoulder. She just turned her head, not bothered at all.

"Are you trying to freak me out?" she asked unamused.

The boys just sighed before looking at each other.

Paranormal fear strategy: Fail.

Number 2: Claustrophobia attack stater

"You can lower the door now men!" Honey exclaimed happily as he pulled Haruhi and Claudia into the large van.

"Yes sir!" the helmeted men saluted before closing the door.

It was silent.

"It dark and scary in here! I feel like I can't breathe!" Honey exclaimed.

"Honey-sempai?" Haruhi asked.

"S-sempai! What's wrong?" Claudia asked.

"I can't take it anymore! AH~!" Honey screamed loudly.

"OPEN THE DOOR~!" he screamed again.

Claustrophobia attack stater: Fail.

Number 3: Fear of sharp objects

"Mori..." Haruhi began as she started as the harpoon, "you're my sempai...not a sentai..." she said.

Mori's face fell as Claudia held back her laugh. Haruhi just watched with a blank stare.

Fear of sharp objects: Defiant fail.

Number 4: Arachnophobia strategy

"Hey Claudia!" Hikaru exclaimed as he called the red-head over.

"Yes?" she asked, walking over to him.

"Look what we found!" Kaoru said, pointing to a giant spider on a tree.

"A spider?" she asked curiously.

"A huntsmen spider." Hikaru said in a low and spooky voice.

"Ooh~ we don't see much of those in Boston..." Claudia said before leaning closer to the arachnid.

The twins just shrugged and sighed in defeat.

Arachnophobia strategy: Big fail.

Number 5: Fear of heights

"This is quite high up isn't it?" Claudia asked looked over the edge of the clff.

"It is! Are you afraid?" Tamaki asked.

"Nope! This is so exciting!" Claudia laughed as she was sprayed with water by a wave crashing against the rocks.

Tamaki just watched Claudia laugh like a child and she looked up.

"Can we go higher on the cat rock?" she asked.

"No!"

Fear of heights: Big fat fail.

Number 6: Nekozawa and Beelzenef fear strategy.

"Don't you feel hot in that cloak?" Claudia asked curiously.

"You're not afraid of me?" Nekozawa replied.

"Why?" she cocked her head to the side.

"I will cast a curse upon you~" he said creepily, "Are you afraid yet?"

"Nope," Claudia simply replied before shrugging, "I don't believe in that sort of stuff."

The older male gasped before he shrieked as sunlight entered his vision. Claudia just watched as her cloak clad senior ran away.

"Wait! I wanted one of those cat dolls!" Claudia yelled after him.

Tamaki and the twins just groaned in disbelief.

Nekozawa and Beelzenef fear strategy: Obviously a fail.

The sun was beginning to set as the boys sighed tired and exhausted from their day. Claudia sat beside them, laughing quietly.

"Stop laughing." The gloom over the twins grew.

"Sorry but..." Claudia laughed harder, "it's too funny!"

The twins glared at her before sighing.

"This game was harder than we thought..." they sighed.

"WAIT!" Honey exclaimed and everyone looked at him as he walked up to Claudia, who just watched him, "do you know what Haruhi's weakness is Matsu-chan?"

Claudia just scoffed before laughing loudly.

"Of course I do!" she smiled.

"What?!" the twins and Tamaki exclaimed, "Why didn't you tell us before?!"

"Now that wouldn't be fun would it?" Claudia laughed harder.

The boys just grumbled before sighing.

"Do you girls even have a weakness?" Tamaki mumbled before going back to looking at his captured snakes.

"Sempai..." Claudia started as Tamaki lifted up the tub of snake, "aren't...aren't those Habu snakes?"

"What?!" the twins turned around and Tamaki looked down at the tub, his face paling dramatically.

"What do I do?" the blond shrieked.

"Throw them away!" the twins exclaimed.

"Tamaki!"

The whole group looked girl running towards them and Tamaki instantly threw the whole tub away.

"What is it?" he asked walking forward.

"It's...Haruhi...he's in...trouble..." she said between breaths.

Haruhi grunted as the local grabbed her by her shirt, almost lifting her off the ground. The two girls that had been captured screamed loudly in hopes that local number two would let them go.

"What'd ya gonna do now sissy boy?" local number one laughed loudly.

"I know...I hope you know how to swim you brat!" local number two yelled as he pushed Haruhi off the cliff.

"Haruhi!" Tamaki yelled running off the cliff after Haruhi.

The twins, Claudia and Kyoya arrived shortly after him. Claudia was forced to hold back her anger as the twins ran forward, landing several hits to the two men. Her hands formed fists before she ran to the edge, hoping that Tamaki and Haruhi were alright.

"Haruhi!" Claudia exclaimed as Tamaki emerged from the water, holding her cousin in his arms.

"Tono!"

Tamaki walked to the group and Kyoya placed his shirt around Haruhi.

"Where'd they go?" Tamaki asked.

"We took their id cards and asked them to leave. The girls have gone back to their hotel and I've called a doctor." Kyoya said as Haruhi was placed down gently.

"What were you thinking?" Tamaki asked and Haruhi looked up, "you're not like Honey sempai...you're not a martial arts master..." he said before placing his hands on her shoulder, "Why did you confront them? What made you think you could take them on by yourself?"

"But it doesn't matter that I'm a girl and they're boys! I was there and I had to do something, there wasn't any time to think-"

"That's no excuse you idiot! Don't forget you're a girl!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"Look," Haruhi's eyes narrowed, "I'm sorry you had to come save me sempai but I don't understand why you're so mad at me right now. I don't think I did anything wrong!"

"You don't think so?" Tamaki stepped back and took a step past Haruhi, "fine whatever you say...but I'm not speaking to you until you can admit that you were wrong!" he exclaimed before storming off.

Haruhi just sighed angrily. Claudia sighed as well but it was sad. She could only hope that Haruhi would realise why Tamaki was mad quickly.

"Ta da! All done!" Honey exclaimed as he and Mori brought out plates of cooked crab.

Claudia paled slightly before sneaking out of the dining hall, running away into one of the corridors. Although, unbeknownst to Claudia, Kyoya had notice her run off before. His curiosity had been irked now that she seemed to disappear whenever she was presented with or was near a crustacean. He'd jotted the note down before returning his attention back to the club.

In the distance Claudia could hear the gang exclaiming in awe as Haruhi entered the hall, most like in the pink frilly dress she had seen her in before. Claudia sighed as her stomach rumbled. Looked like she'd have to go hungry tonight or she could always sneak back to the kitchen to look for other food.

"Oof." Claudia groaned as she bumped into a dark figure.

"Neko...zawa sempai?" she questioned.

The male turned to her and have a creepy smile while Claudia managed a crooked one. She raised her brow at his blond hair however.

"Have you always had blond hair?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

She pointed to her head and he raised his gaze before feeling his hair. His eyes widened before he dashed of into the shadows and returned in his usual black wig and black cloak. Claudia just blinked before she chuckled.

"So it was you!" she laughed.

"Why is a porcelain doll like you not scared of me?" he asked curiously.

"Because," Claudia just smiled, "I've seen scarier things."

"More scarier than me?" he asked.

Claudia just nodded because her eyes widened in realisation. "Wait...Nekozawa...that name sounds familiar..." she paused for a moment to think, "does your family manufacture firearms?"

Nekozawa nodded and Claudia clapped her hands together.

"Matsujima-san...what it is?" he asked.

Claudia just laughed before shaking her head. "It's nothing; I just wanted to make sure that I had the right name that's all."

The male nodded before presenting Beelzenef to her.

"Would you like to join the black magic club dark princess?" he asked through him.

Claudia just smiled and patted the puppet's head.

"I'm sorry kitty but I'm already part of a group."

Beelzenef's face fell and Claudia pouted.

"But I'll definitely buy one of your dolls!" she said with a smile.

Nekozawa just stared at her before grinning. He opened his cloak and presented her the several curse dolls he had, excited that finally he'd found someone that wasn't afraid of him who also wasn't part of his club.

Kyoya found himself feeling somewhat guilty for pinning Haruhi to his bed but he had his reasons. Only to prove Tamaki's point, he'd intended to scare her while showing her how defenceless she was against one male. Though as always she managed to surprise him with her response and it left him a little shaken.

"I won't gain any merit from it huh?" he mumbled, deep in thought.

Kyoya smirked as he remembered Tamaki's expression.

'That idiot better make up with her or all my efforts are going to go to waste...' he thought.

Kyoya had walked in a daze for a few minutes now and he glanced forward, his eyes zeroing in on a familiar figure. Tamaki's words about talking to her rang loud in his head and he walked closer to her, completely ignoring the roll of thunder.

'I want to talk to her normally, with no awkwardness or suspicion. I'm sure she already knows that I know..." he thought.

Kyoya noticed she had changed clothes and now wore a loose grey off shoulder t-shirt over three quarters leggings with simple black flats.

'She really does look good in anything...' he thought with a small smile.

Kyoya slowed a little as Claudia turned around to walk away from the window, as if in a hurry. His eyes widened ever so slightly as she lost her balance and without even realising it, his feet took off on their own.

"Whoa!"

Claudia eyes shut as she fell forward, waiting for impact with the cold ground. Instead, she heard several footsteps before she felt arms wrap around her and her cheek hit a warm wall. She slowly opened her eyes only to see light brown fabric. She looked up, a small blush forming on her cheeks. Kyoya looked down at her with a brow raised and his arms still around her.

"What did you trip on this time?" he asked with an amused smile.

"...Water..." Claudia mumbled before pointing down.

"...Water?" Kyoya had to hold back a chuckled at her cute expression.

Claudia's blush just deepened as Kyoya helped her stand on her own. Claudia gave a shaky laugh as Kyoya withdrew his arms before stabilizing her.

"I seriously worry about you." He said before lightly ruffling her hair.

"Hey!" Claudia grumbled.

"By the way, where's Haruhi?" she asked slightly worried.

"With Tamaki...why?" Kyoya replied.

"Oh okay," Claudia sighed relieved that she was with at least someone else right now.

Kyoya chuckled lightly before fixing her fringe for her. Her blush deepened and he smiled gently.

"I wanted to talk to you," Kyoya started as he watched Claudia attempt to fix her hair, "if that's okay?"

"Why are you asking such a question?" Claudia asked as she gave up on her hair, "you're always welcome to talk to me, whenever and wherever you want." She smiled warmly.

Kyoya just sighed relieved before looking at her curious expression. Claudia bent her head slightly as Kyoya placed his hand on the top of her head. She watched her senior eyes close and he smiled slightly.

"I'll keep it a secret, so you don't have to worry about me slipping it or telling the world." He said before his hand slid back to his side.

"What are you talking about?" Claudia cocked her head to the side.

"Your family," Kyoya paused as Claudia's lips formed a small 'o' in realisation, "the secret's save with me."

"Thank you sempai." Claudia smiled gratefully.

Kyoya nodded before looking away. He felt relieved having finally told Claudia what he knew and now, he hoped that she'd forgive him.

"So it was you who hacked pass the security walls." Claudia laughed.

Kyoya looked down, feeling guilty for an unknown reason. Claudia just sighed before smiling at him.

"But I am glad that it was you, not someone else that found out in that way sempai" she said before her expression turned serious, "please don't let the others find out."

"You have my word Claudia." He said.

Claudia smiled gently, thankful to have a friend like him. Finally feeling at ease around him, she let her go and relaxed around him.

"By the way, how come you weren't present at dinner?" Kyoya asked.

"Huh?" Claudia's paled slightly.

Lightening flashed outside the window, causing a glare on Kyoya's glasses.

"Come to think of it, you weren't even near us at the beach as well during the time Haruhi and Honey sempai were digging for the crustaceans..." Kyoya continued, observing Claudia's body stiffening, "Claudia?"

"I w-wasn't hungry that's all..." Claudia stuttered.

Kyoya watched her face pale even more. He raised his brow slightly as she began fidgeting.

"Kyo-chan! Matsu-chan! Look what I found!"

Both teens looked towards the small blond running towards them with a giant smile. He stopped just in front of them with the rest of the boys just following behind him in the distance. Kyoya and Claudia looked at Honey who presented his hand to them with a small hermit crab sitting on it.

Claudia bit her tongue to bit back the shriek she would have released and closed her eyes with a small half smile but she still squeaked anyway. Kyoya noticed that her complexion had paled significantly and her expression had become almost frightened. He slowly and discretely stepped towards her.

"Isn't he cute?" Honey asked, oblivious to Claudia fighting not to hurt her senior by running away or fall over.

"Maybe you should him back, I'm sure he wants to go back home." Kyoya said turning to Honey, he'd catch onto her unease.

"Okay!" Honey smiled before turning around and running off.

Kyoya snapped his head around when he heard footsteps disappearing in the distance and only saw Claudia receding figure running away.

"Claudia?"

He opened his mouth to call her again but his eyes widened as he pieced together the puzzle pieces.

"...Kabourophobia...?" he whispered before smiling to himself.

"I'll keep this a secret as well." He said before pulling out a picture from his pocket.

It was a picture of Claudia of course and was part of the prize for the winner of the game from earlier, a bonus prize actually to whoever could find Claudia's weakness even though she was startled by most things. His source was her father and being the kind and friendly gentleman he was, lent him the photo of Claudia taken earlier in the year during spring.

It was a simple photo with Claudia watching the cherry blossoms petals fall, her long hair blowing behind her in the breeze and a big smile on her face. It was a beautiful photo and he smiled as he awarded himself the photo.

He walked towards the direction Claudia had run off in which happened to be towards his room. He placed the picture into his back jean pocket. He had expected not to see the red head but he could see her in the distance, leaning against the wall and breathing deeply to calm her possible racing heart.

"Kabourophobia." He said once he was near.

Claudia stiffened slightly before turning to him. She nodded slightly and he pushed his glasses up.

"It's safe with me, the other won't find out." Kyoya said.

"Thank god..." Claudia sighed relieved, "it would be embarrassing for me if it got out..." she paused before looking down with her eyes closed, "I was so sure I would have fainted then..." she mumbled.

Kyoya chuckled quietly walking up to her. In the moonlight, he could tell that she had paled and her skin seemed greyer but that could have been the moonlight. He gently ruffled her hair and she looked up as he did so.

"Then I would have to catch you wouldn't I?" He chuckled as her cheeks reddened causing Kyoya to smile.

"IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!"

Claudia jumped slightly at Tamaki's scream and Kyoya automatically retracted his hand. Both looked up ahead only to see the rest of the boys glaring angrily and in disbelief into a Kyoya's room. Kyoya and Claudia looked at each other before walking towards them. Claudia raised her brow in disbelief as she peeked through between the twins only to stare at Tamaki who paled as she smiled darkly.

"Oh my, what do we have here sempai?" she asked.

Tamaki paled significantly seeing the dark look in her eyes and knowing about her past only made him even more frightened.

"I'M TELLING YOU! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" the prince yelled again.

"Hahaha...yeah right you SM pervert."
