'Naruto talking to Kyuubi'

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sasuke screamed as an enormous pressure built in his chest. Sasuke grounded himself to stop himself from moving and messing up Tsunade's concentration. He felt the wood beneath his hands begin to crack. Finally after 30 minutes, he felt a release of pressure and a giant ball of energy move from where his heart was and began to move up through his body; experiencing the sensation of an object passing his lungs and throat for the second time in the span of 2 days. He felt the ball of energy stop between his mouth and nose. He began to hyperventilate as the ball of energy blocked his airways. The force began to reach an excruciating amount pain as he felt like the ball was being pulled out of his mouth and nose. With a giant pull, the entire ball of chakra was pulled from his mouth. Sasuke passed out from the pain for a few moments. When he regained consciousness, he saw the ball of chakra absorb into Naruto's body like water. Although, still in much pain, he moved his trembling hand to cover and hold the sun kissed hand lying on the bed.

"Well that went in easier than taking it out," Tsunade said with a huge sigh of relief. "Ok, now I will need to distribute it out to his body." Sasuke watches in awe as the Hokage's chakra surrounding her hands changes to pink. She began to run her hands all over Naruto's body; spreading the chakra to all parts of his body, ensuring his body was covered from head to toe.

Once satisfied, she sat in the chair on the other side of the bed. After a few moments of silence, Tsunade's hands glowed purple.

"It's incredible. He's completely healed. All the broken bones, cuts and even the concussion he had, they are all gone. Now we just have to make sure he's mentally and emotionally healed as well."

"That's fantastic."

"Alright brat, let me take a look at you."

Sasuke shook his head. "I'm alright. Save your strength for the dobe."

"Oi Teme. Don't call me dobe."

Tsunade and Sasuke look to the blonde lying in the bed.

"Naruto!" Both Tsunade and Sasuke said.

"Hey guys. How's it going?" Naruto sat up.

"Don't move yet dobe. Take it slow." Sasuke began to get up to help Naruto but Tsunade beat him to it. Sasuke settled back into the chair, still feeling very weak.

Tsunade put pillows behind his back for comfort. "How are you feeling, gaki?"

"I feel good. Better than I have for a while. Although I would like to apologize for my outburst earlier," Naruto paused. "Although everything I said about what's going on is true. I do not want to give up on my dream. I will keep fighting."

"That's great, Naruto. I'm glad you seem back to your old self." Sasuke stops for a moment thinking, "What about me? Do you still..." Sasuke let the question fade from his lips as he didn't know how to ask.

"Sasuke, on that my feelings have not changed. I don't love you. And while I appreciate you putting your life on the line for mine and my dreams, I never want to see you again. I will figure out my own way to become Hokage." Sasuke covered his eyes with his bangs.

"Oh, I see. Ok then," Sasuke stood up, still trembling from the extraction. "Well you stay here and recover; I'll go to another house in the district," Sasuke began to walk out the door.

"No Sasuke. You stay here. This is your house and your bed. I'll just go home."

"Uzumaki, your house was burned to the ground remember? Just stay here, I won't bother you. But at least you have a roof over your head." Sasuke walked out without another word.

Naruto stared at the empty doorway for a while. "Gaki, I don't know why you keep trying to push him away. He does love you and wants to help you."

"I know baa-chan, I know," Naruto sighed heavily. "But what I said earlier still stands true."

Tsunade also sighed and put a hand on Naruto's head, ruffling his hair. "Although, I think you should let him decide for himself, I will respect your wishes. All right kid; I really have to take care of some things. You rest and either I'll be by later or I'll send Sakura. Do not leave the Uchiha compound. I don't need anything else to happen to you while in recovery."

"But baa-chan, I feel perfectly fine. See..." Naruto jumped out of bed and used his chakra, hung himself to the ceiling upside down.

"Very well then. But until I know those ninjas who attacked you are taken care of, you are to remain here. Not to mention, unfortunately, you no longer have an apartment. This is an order from your Hokage. Naruto Uzumaki, you are to live here until further notice. Understood?"

"Hai..." Naruto said in a low voice.

"Good. Now, I'll see you later." With that Tsunade walked out of the room.

Naruto sat himself back on the bed, in deep thought.

'Kit, how are you really feeling?'

'Hey Kyuubi... It's nice to hear you again.'

Sasuke sat outside the front door debating where to go, when Tsunade came walking out.

"It seems Naruto made a full recovery."

"That's great, so he should be ok now?"

"Well that actually depends. It seems like this was the second time he was abused that we know about. Who knows how many more times he's been hurt and no one ever knew."

"Why? Why is it always him?! How can he put on that smile all the time. It's a miracle he's never left this ungrateful village."

"Uchiha, I understand how you are feeling. I want nothing more than to hurt those who harmed Naruto. But Naruto is special. He has this strength that lets him continue going on and he doesn't give up where anyone else would have a long time ago." Tsunade looked at the raven sitting on the porch step. "How are you feeling? Any side effects from either poison?" Sasuke shook his head, "Well I need you rest and don't stress. It wouldn't do either one of you to be completely defenseless. I have to go take care of those 5 Jounin. But based on what you mentioned, you only gave me a report on 4 of the 5 ninja. If we have no proof the last one did anything, then I don't think I will have enough to hold him. I will try to hold him as long as possible but be on alert in case he comes here first to get revenge."

"Ok Tsunade-sama. I'll take post by Naruto's door."

"Oh and Uchiha, give him some time. I'm sure he will come around." With that statement, Tsunade teleported out of the Uchiha grounds.
