A/N: I have had a hell week. Between work and a mental breakdown, Fanfiction fell by the wayside. I may only be updating once a week for a while. Story's winding down anyway.

As always, thanks to MarinaNamaste who not only beta's my stories, she beta's my brain. Thanks, M, for all your support this week. Hope the cyclone hasn't blown you away.

Y'all should go an read her two-shot if you haven't already: Honeymoon for One.

Here some OC fun.

"Bella, I'm not mad at him," Angela pressed. "We had a great conversation and Quil's a really nice guy."

"But?" Jake felt the but coming.

"But nothing." Angela smiled. "We talked about school and why he always feels so awkward and," she stammered a little, "…Ben. He listened to me and it was nice. He asked if he could text me because I was funny and I said yes."

"So you don't mind that he just kissed Jessica and went into the house with her?" Bella asked really hoping Angela was telling the truth.

"No, I'm actually relieved. It means there really are no expectations of me. He's funny, we're going to text." Angela smiled and the conversation fell back into small talk as Chepi drifted back.

"I don't know what that girl Jessica sees in that Mike guy. What. A. Douche. Jake, I hate admitting that you're right, but you've been spot on about a few things. Her eyes flashed to Bella and her lips curved up with a hint of a smile. "You've been dodging him for how long?"

"Since I moved back," Bella said. "Unfortunately he was my first kiss in a rigged game of 7 minutes of heaven the summer before freshman year. That basically squashed any chance he ever though he had." She felt Jacob chuckle behind her.

"Why, baby?" Jake asked. Jake had never felt so confident in what he and Bella shared. She could tell by the way he ran his nose up the curve of her neck. He wasn't seething at the question, he really wanted to know.

"It was all thrusting tongues and way too wet." She shuddered. "The mess was not worth the experience," she smiled into a small kiss with him reminding him they were always messy. But it was so worth it.

"He hasn't improved any," Chepi quipped and the three looked back at her. "What? I needed Jessica to see how easily distracted he was. She's annoying, but she's not a bad person. And now Quil gets a distraction as well. And," Chepi stood up and pushed her glasses up her nose, "I hope he doesn't fuck it up. I think I'm going to go make some more friends." And with that she was gone. She found Tyler's group very interesting and Jake and Bella had a great time watching the little sprite flit from one group to another.

"Was that Quil?" Seth asked Embry as they sat soaking in the hot tub. "With Jessica?" His hands had been becoming very familiar with Lulu's waist and tummy. She seemed to like the attention, leaning back into his chest and running her hands up and down his forearms.

"I think so," Embry replied. He was going to have to grill Quil about that later. He prayed that Quil didn't do anything too fucking stupid. But he didn't want to think about that now. He had his hands full with Doli. Literally.

Seth unconsciously ran his nose up Lulu's neck inhaling her scent. She arched her neck to the side reveling in the sensation and she squirmed when she felt his lips press just under her ear.

"Seth," she breathed out her pleasure. Jake was right when he told Seth that instinct would take over and he'd just know what to do.

"Lulu," he whispered and his hot breath sent chills down her spine, "I really want to kiss you." Her heart dropped in her stomach, stopped, and then burst back to life when she turned sideways so she could meet his lips.

"Good," she smiled looking into his eyes and wrapping one arm around his neck. She noted his sexy little dimple before her eyes fell closed waiting for the press of his lips. She waited and the slow seconds added to the anticipation that had already been building. All. Night. First she felt the palm of his hand cup her cheek before his bottom lip swiped at hers. She smiled at his playfulness. He was so sweet and kind and she couldn't believe that out of all of the people from whom he could choose, he wanted to be with her. Here. Kissing her.

She took the initiative and captured that bottom lip of his between hers, sucking just a little and she liked the little grunt he let out showing his pleasure. He took control and begged permission to enter, only sliding his tongue in when he felt her lips part. Soft and flat, he teased her in a little game of give and take. His hand slid down her neck while her hands reached up and fisted in his hair. She wanted to be closer to him.

Lulu pulled back a little and lifted herself up, which was easy in the water of the hot tub, and adjusted herself on his lap so she was facing him. Unconsciously keeping their hips a safe distance, but she did allow her boobs to lightly press into Seth's chest. He returned her smile as his hands settled in the soft curve of her waist.

"Was that okay?" he asked and her heart jolted at his uncertainty. He was so handsome and so sweet.

"It was perfect," she said. "Can I have another?" He answered by kissing her again, hands sliding up the smooth skin of her back and his lips moving to explore the silkiness of her throat.

"You're perfect, Lulu," Seth said before tasting her throat again.

"Well, it's about fucking time," Embry remarked turning his eyes from Seth and Lulu. He and Doli had been threading their fingers together and holding hands most of the night. Most of the week, actually; when they were together.

"Yeah," Doli said, her eyes flicking to his and her skin turning rose under her caramel hue. "She's been waiting for that for, you know, like years." Embry rested his chin on her shoulder. It was a natural thing to do—they'd known each other forever. It was comforting and not the least bit awkward.

It gave Doli butterflies.

"Yeah," he said running his chin back and forth playfully, "Seth just discovered girls were different from boys about three or four months ago." The kissing couple were only about three feet from them, but totally oblivious to the conversation.

"Well, looks like he catches on quickly," Doli said chuckling at Embry's chin tickling her. He pulled her into gentle hug, relishing in the security he hadn't felt in months. Doli was real; he could talk to her about real stuff. He sat there thinking about that for a few moments unaware that Doli was summoning up her own courage.

"What's going on here?" she ventured, clearing her throat. "With us?"

"Umm…" Automatically he loosened his hold on her. Embry was at a loss. He wasn't used to girls being so straight forward. She turned to look at him better. He tried to smile, but he couldn't meet her eyes.

"Embry," she said without pulling away, "are you still hung up on her?" That got his attention.

"Who?" Embry asked a little confused. She bit back a smile because she actually loved how clueless he was. And she liked the fact that Lauren wasn't on his mind.

"Lauren," she answered in a soft voice. It dawned on him finally.

"Oh, no. I don't think I was ever really hung up on her. I just…" he didn't know how to finish that sentence without sounding like horny asshole. Lauren was hot and he wanted in her pants. "I'm fucked up, Doli. She messed with my mind."

"Really?" she asked sounding almost pleased. "You think you're messed up?" Doli had known him forever; he'd played baseball with her brothers and used to come over for dinner several times a week. And while he lacked guidance, she knew he was a good person.

"Oh, I know I am. I never knew what to say or when to say it. She had all these rules and breaking one of them meant she wouldn't talk to me for a week. It was hell!" Whatever they were becoming, Embry fell back into their old comfortable sibling-like banter. Doli just let Embry vent about Lauren while Seth and Lulu continued to neck in the hot tub across from them.

"Anyone'd be fucked up after that, Em," Doli said when he finally halted his diatribe. She ran her finger along his jawline. She thought he was so handsome. She agreed with Lulu, that he was a bit rough around the edges with his messy hair and holey jeans paired with big over-sized t-shirts. But Doli thought it was all part of his charm. Though, after looking at his bare chest this evening she decided that he needed to wear more fitted shirts. Embry was H.O.T. And, she never had to guess what he was thinking. She really appreciated that.

"Doli, I like you. I do, but—" he cut himself off. He didn't know how to finish that sentence. Messing around with Lauren was safe because she was from Forks and fucking up a relationship wouldn't have a widespread rippling affect like it would if he fucked something up with Doli. Everyone loved the twins and if things went bad, he'd take the fall and the whole rez would blame him.

"Why have you been holding my hand?" she ventured with a steady tone after a few moments of silence. Small smacking noises and a few whimpers punctuated the air from across the water.

"What?" Embry asked, confused again.

"Why have you been holding my hand? All week. And teasing me? Why?" Her tone wasn't accusatory, sad, or mocking. It was just inquisitive. It put him back at ease.

"Well, I've told you I like you," Embry said. "I'm trying to show you a little, but I don't want to pull you into all this…"

"Into all what? I like you, too. As long as you are not thinking of that blonde bee-atch every time you touch me, we can work the other things out, right? You and me Emb, we're actually friends, at least," Doli said.

"But that's what I don't want to fuck up, our friendship," Embry replied. "And Lauren being a bitch made the things I wanted to do to her okay."

"What did you want to do to her?" she looked at him skeptically but with a smirk on her face.

Embry's face fell. Shit. How was he going to tell Doli that he wanted to fuck Lauren senseless because she was so damn hot? How was he going to tell her that without offending her or looking like a creeper?

"You know, normal, you know, sex stuff," he coughed but noticed she didn't pull away.

"So you don't want to do that stuff with me?" she asked. Again, he didn't hear any anger—maybe disappointment that she did her best to cover— but no anger. Still.

Shit.

"Well… maybe… a little… but... not in the same way," he answered back cautiously. He looked at the expression on her face and knew he was digging a hole he wouldn't be able to get out of if he kept going. "Look, I'm going to stop before I fuck this up even more." He was determined not to pull a Quil.

"Embry, I'm not mad. I'm curious," she explained. She let go of his hand. "Let's just pretend I'm Quil or Jake for a moment. Forget I have boobs and tell me what you even saw in Lauren."

"Is this some sort of trick? Is this going to end up on YouTube later on making me look like an asshole?" Embry asked. He was so unaccustomed to talking about anything real with a girl that he didn't know if he could trust her motives.

"No, it's not a trick." She looked over at Seth and her sister who were talking quietly in between their heated kisses. The bubbles and jets that kicked on masked most of the noises. "They're not going to notice, either." She giggled a little. "What did you see in her?"

"Okay, just remember," Embry added, "that you asked for this." She nodded and smiled encouragingly at her friend. "She was hot. I wanted to fuck her. And not in a sweet and gentle way that you see in the chick flick movies. I wanted—" he didn't want to finish the sentence. He didn't want to tell Doli that he wanted to make Lauren scream out his name like he'd seen in the pornos he'd watched. He'd already said enough. She considered him and what he wasn't saying. She had three brothers. She knew what boys talked about. Endlessly.

"So you think your libido is a bad thing?" Doli asked. She'd taken her Health and Family education credit as a freshman.

"My what?" Embry asked. He still needed that credit, not that he'd ever know the word libido.

"Your sex drive? You think it's a bad thing?" she repeated. While her brothers were disgusting, they had a father who could check their conversation and help guide their energy. Embry didn't know his dad.

"Well, it's not nice and I wouldn't talk about it in front of my mother," he responded.

"Embry, that makes you male, not a deviant." She grabbed his hand again. "So you don't want to do that to me?" she asked again a little more confidently. It seemed to her that he liked her, he was just scared of treating her badly. She could live with that. It was actually sweet.

"This is straight talk here, no pulling this shit out to use against me later?" he asked having learned enough about the cattiness of women from Lauren.

"I asked the question. My father taught me to never ask a question that I can't handle the worst possible answer to. And I don't."

"Okay," he paused taking a deep breath to rally his courage and jump off the cliff, "I want to do things to most girls. The wind blows the wrong way and I'm sporting a tent in my pants. But with you," he said ignoring her smirk at his tent comment, "–that's changed over the past week. I want to make you happy." He looked down at their hands still entwined. "I held your hand that first night because I knew you had a crush on me. And after Lauren called and said she wasn't coming to my house that night, it just felt good to be wanted by a pretty girl. I hope that doesn't hurt your feelings." He peered up at her.

"It doesn't," she smiled. "You just called me pretty."

"You are," Embry said reflexively.

"So you're hot for my sister, too?" she smirked as Embry's face fell. He stammered a little.

"I'm teasing you. Too soon?" she asked. Though, Doli had wondered how Seth chose Lulu and not her if they were going on looks alone. But Lulu and Seth had always gotten along as kids; she was sweeter and better suited for him.

"Yeah," Embry sighed.

"You said 'at first.' What's changed?" she pressed.

"Well, as of right now I think you're the coolest girl on the planet just sitting here listening to me bitch about my ex-girlfriend. If you can even call her that." She held his gaze and tilted her head to the side. "You're not playing games with me. And even when you joke, you don't let me stew too long."

They sat, trying not to be voyeurs by looking at Seth and Lulu practically dry humping less than three feet away from them. Distant music from the stereo system thumped in the background as squeals from the pool punctuated the air.

"So, you like me?" she asked. He nodded. "And you're attracted to me," she held their joined hands above the water as proof. He nodded again with a guilty smile. "But you're afraid to push things because you're fucked up and trying to figure things out in your head?"

Embry nodded again his eyes scanning her face. There were subtle differences between Doli and Lulu and he'd always been able to tell them apart. Doli's face was slightly thinner giving her a sharper visage, and she was a little cleverer than her twin. Embry could see it in her eyes. It's why he sought Doli out instead of Lulu. Doli returned his gaze and realized he was really putting some thought into their conversation.

"You're helping clear the fog, if that helps," Embry finally replied. "It helps to talk to someone who's not a smart-assed prick who thinks he knows everything about relationships now." His eyes flicked to Jake. "So thanks." He squeezed her hand.

"Okay then. That was a great talk."

"You're not mad?" he asked. Lulu giggled from across the Jacuzzi as Seth whispered something in her ear. It drew both their attention for a moment, but neither Seth nor Lulu noticed the other two staring at them.

Doli turned back first. "No, I'm not upset. Just don't lie to me or lead me on. You know how that feels. Don't do that to me," she warned.

"I won't." His coffee eyes met her teaks and a fierce glint gave power to his words. Her eyes spanned between his. He was telling the truth.

"Good," she said. She leaned in and gave him a light kiss on the jaw. "Good." He enjoyed the feel of her lips, but wasn't ready to give anything else.

What he'd told Doli was true. He'd wanted to do all sorts of sexual acts with Lauren and the fact that she was a bitch made him feel okay with that. But, he didn't want to be that way with Doli. While he still wanted to touch the perky breasts that teased him through the ripples of the water, and he still wanted to dip his pen in her inkwell, he didn't want to be nasty about it. He wanted to give Doli pleasure.

From Lauren, he'd only wanted to take it.

"Let's get something to drink," Doli suggested pulling him from his thoughts. "And give these kids some privacy." Seth and Lulu didn't even notice they'd gone.
