Since Alice haven't met them in the real story (because it was told by the Tweedles), I thought maybe in this, my character does. Don't ask me why when I typed who's who, but it's a surprise!
The Walrus and the Carpenter
As I made it out of my world and into Wonderland from the mirror, I looked around the place, seeing that everything's the same...same bed...same dresser...same everything...but all were reflected.
I looked around to find the others, but as I looked down I saw that them, but they're back to normal and very tiny.
"What the..." I gasped. "Remember, Madison," The Cheshire Cat spoke in a very tiny voice, "You're too big in Wonderland!"
That's when I remembered from the moment I set foot onto Wonderland, I need to find the Drink Me potion.
"But...where would I find a potion?" I asked as I knelt to them so I don't have to look down.
"The potion is always cooled and refreshed like how you store many other foods inside." The Caterpillar-now-a-Butterfly that is wearing a blue tunic with navy slippers spoke as he landed on my shoulder.
Cooled and refreshed, eh?...Wait...I know a place that keeps things cool and refreshed!
"In the fridge!" I spoke my thought with a snap of my fingers.
"Ah, why looking in there?" The Butterfly smiled with a small shrug.
I sigh when I remembered he has trouble remembering, then spoke as I pick them up, "Never mind asking, let's go."
As we walked to the kitchen and I opened the fridge, I saw there are a million bottles of Drink Me and packages of Eat Me...It's hard to believe in the reflective version of my home has a fridge full of potions and cakes.
So I took two of the vials and packages with me just in case. I look at one of the vials, thinking if I should drink it now...or later...I look at my friends and they nodded at me, meaning I have to drink it now.
I took a deep breath as I look at the vial, "Here goes nothing...For Wonderland..." With that, I drink the vial and I started to shrink.
I stopped when I was at my friend's height and I looked at them.
The Cheshire grinned, "Nice to see you in perfect size again, Madison!"
"Heh..." was all I have to say with a small smile, but I was glomped by the Mouse girl.
"HOORAY! I CAN HUG YOU AGAIN!" She squeezed me tightly and spin me around in glee.
"C-Can't...BREATHE!" I gasped.
After she let me breathe, I look around the kitchen that is now ten times bigger, "So...How do we get out of here?"
"Allow me to help, you'll handle the mouse, Cheshire." The Butterfly spoke as he picked me up and with the Cheshire carrying the mouse, we flew up to the window sill and out through the window.
I looked around, seeing that we were back at the beach where I danced with the Mock Turtle! I finally made it back to Wonderland!
But why I should have used the door when I was in my old size? Well nothing matters, but there's no time to think and there's no wasting time!
If I don't make it to the castle, Hatter will literally loose his mind!
After almost an hour, the Butterfly smiled, "Sadly, my friend, this is as far as we can go."
"But guys, What about the Mad Hatter? I need to get to him!" I yelled as the Butterfly flew off with the Mouse girl.
"Sorry, Madison...as you can see...we're all prisoners!" The Cheshire exclaimed.
My eyes widen and the Cheshire continued, "We're all arrested for trying to find you! Us, the Dodo, the Mock Turtle, the Duchess, Everyone! But us three escaped and we need to hide..."
"O-Oh..." I looked down sadly, thinking there's no one to help me now...
"But Madison," Cheshire spoke as he lift up my chin, "Don't look down...Don't give up...We need you...We all need you...On your way to the castle, you will see a Sleeping Griffon and many other flying creatures. They will give you a short cut there."
"T-Thank you...I hope I made it..." I spoke as I hugged him.
"No, don't hope it, make it happen and...Believe in yourself...Don't give up...Trust yourself...and mostly...Follow your heart..." With the last of the words, the Cheshire Cat vanished from the body, to the scarf, then to his mouth.
I stand on the striped sand for a few moments, letting the breeze touched my hair and face, speaking quietly to myself, "Belive in myself...Trust myself...Don't give up...and follow your heart, huh?..."
I remembered the direction I was thrown so I go there, retracing my steps, speaking to myself again, "Don't worry Hatter, I'm coming..."
When I closed my eyes, all I can see was Claude's face when he told me about my father. I clenched my fists and I kept walking faster. But as I walk more for 10 minutes, I started becoming very hungry.
As I walked, I noticed a man standing at the shore, holding a cane.
He wore a light blue tail coat and pants with a light pink shirt, a golden yellow vest, a green tie, black shoes and gloves, and a light blue top hat with pink ribbon.
His face is scruffy with his hair in a blond ponytail and small braids on the left, he have green eyes that were behind his glasses.
I'm not sure what wonderland creature is he, but I tried to walk pass him, only to block my way with his cane.
I looked at him and he turned to me.
He walked over and stopped as he was right in front of me.
He knelt a little and he hold his hat out, speaking, "Good night, Miss."
"Good night?" I questioned, I look at the sun, then my watch that specifically had the hands pointed close to 12.
"It's only noon, sir." I spoke.
"Eh, Noon is the same thing as the middle of the night as you can see, miss." He shook his head.
I look bewildered and I was walking away, but he blocked me again, "Whoa, wait, don't go! There is something important coming up and I need you to help me with it!"
"Well...what's going on?" I asked.
"Well..." he spoke as he was looking at his pocket wash, then quickly put it in his pocket, grabbing my arm, "Oh! The Time has Come! Hurry!"
He dragged me on the sand in high speed, feeling with confusion and panic, "What's going on?!"
"It's Oyster season! Hurry before they run away!" He replied.
"But Oysters don't run!" I yelled.
"Well, they don't have feet, but who cares!?" He yelled as he speeds up.
He slide to a stop after a short minute and I lay on the sand after that pull.
I spit out the sand as I sat up and glared, "What's so special about a dumb oyster? There's hundreds of them! And who in the name of God are you?"
He turned to me, then spoke in a serious tone, "I'm the Walrus. And these are special kind of oysters, you'll see when you feast on them!"
Feast on them? But I hate Seafood! And I have no time to eat!
He knelt to the wet sand then spoke sweetly with a gentle smile as the tides came, "Oh Oysters, come walk with us. Today's warm and bright! A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk, along the briny beach. We cannot do with more than four, to give a hand to each."
I just stand there, thinking that the Walrus was crazy and I have to run away.
However, as a tide came, there was four tiny, yet thick, oysters that fit my palm in a color of a rainbow. As another came, there's four more and another one, and another, until there's thirty-six oysters.
When they're aligned, the Walrus smiled and pick them up, "The time has come to talk of many things, Of shoes, and ships, and sealing wax! Of cabbages, and kings! And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings!"
I gotten even more confused since a lot seemed impossible to talk about, but he nudges me to pick up some.
I sigh, knelt down, and pick them up with my shirt as a basket.
As the walrus walked, I followed.
As I did, oddly, I heard the oysters whimper...
I look down, seeing them shake and turn into a shade of blue.
I have no clue who's side I am on right now, but all it matters is that I have to leave and save the Hatter!
We walked down the beach until we got to a table where another man sat. He had short pixie cut brown hair, thin glasses, and wearing a big white apron, a white long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black boots, and a small white cap.
He looked at us and spoke as he noticed me, "Walrus, who is that? She doesn't look like an Oyster..."
"Oh, This girl?" The Walrus asked, "Why Carpenter, this young lady is our guest!"
"Guest? Uh, I really don't have ti-"
"Ah, Wonderful!" The Carpenter interrupted as he grabbed a huge chunk of wood then in a cloud of saw dust, he created a chair and set it close to the table, then the Walrus pushed me down on a chair after he gathered the oysters.
After the Carpenter set the table with the white tablecloth, plates and glass cups, it was time to eat. The Walrus served me a dozen oysters and I watched them drink their glass of wine and eat bread with butter and the raw oysters in disgust.
"What's wrong? You don't like the shell? Let me help!" The Walrus spoke as he picked up the oysters and cut open the shells.
I want to explain that what they are eating right now was disgusting, but when he lay the insides of the oysters on the plate, I couldn't believe my eyes!
The inside of the Oysters are not the meaty parts, but they were ice creams! All in different flavors from Vanilla to Chocolate, to Cookie dough, and many others!
I saw that the white bread with butter I was serving was actually a white vanilla cake with butter cream frosting and the wine was just a root-beer float.
What I was seeing is a Dessert of my favorite treats...So as they chat while the Walrus shed a tear about their conversation, I started eating.
I should kept searching the flying critters to take me to the castle, but I know I can't do this with an empty stomach, I do need some energy to keep going.
As soon as we finished, the Carpenter spoke, "Well, this has been a pleasant meal. Oh Oysters, Shall we be heading on home?"
But there was a silence...I looked at the shells and I spoke, "Uh...I think we eat them, every single one..."
Both looked at each other and shrugged, "Oopsies!"
I sigh and then I heard voices coming from beyond yonder,
"Lord Walrus! Lord Carpenter! Lord Walrus! Lord Carpenter!"
We all looked and saw there were three boys, running in a line, all have violet hair and red eyes, wearing a white and black horizontal stripped shirts, indigo vests, black pants, black bow-ties, and black shoes.
"Tweedle-Dum, Tweedle-Dee, and Tweedle-Loo, What seems to be the problem?" The Walrus asked as I was trying not to laugh about their names.
"THEY'RE AT IT AGAIN!" all three of them yelled very loudly.
We all covered our ears and the Carpenter yelled, "Not so Loud, we just had a pleasant meal!"
"Who's at it again?" I asked.
All of them looked at me and answered, "The Lion and the Unicorn, That's who!"
"And there's no time to explain!" The Tweedles yelled as they picked me up, "We need to go, NOW! NOW! NOW!"
"H-Hey! Put me down!" I pleaded but they carried me away in such a high speed.
I sigh sadly, speaking to myself, "Oh Hatter...What am I ever going to do?"
Poor Madison, trying her best to listen to the words from the Cheshire Cat, but she was distracted by the Walrus and Carpenter. Life is full of distractions, don't they?
Merry Christmas Everybody!
