Haruka felt herself being roughly shaken awake as she tried to open her eyes. She couldn't tell where she was. It felt like she was laying on the ground. She managed to weakly lift her head enough to see the face of one of her nurses standing above her shaking her awake. She was outside and it was pitch black out, she had no idea how long she'd been unconscious for.

The nurse grabbed her crutches which she assumed she must have dropped and tried to help her up. She felt so weak and could barely stand, even with the help of her crutches. The memory of what had happened before she'd passed out was all a blur in her mind.

She managed to get herself positioned with the crutches and the nurse helped her walked back to her room. She tried to ask Haruka questions about why she'd been out there and why she was sleeping on the ground but Haruka didn't know the answers, she just couldn't remember.

They made it back to her room and the nurse told her to call one of them if anything happened and then she left, leaving Haruka all alone in her little hospital room.

The blonde limped over to her bed and sat down, setting her crutches down beside her cot. She rubbed her head as she tried to remember what had happened. She let out a small yawn as her eyes wandered around her room.

Her eyes settled on a small bag of food that was sitting beside her bed and she cocked an eyebrow at it. She didn't remember anyone bringing her food. She grabbed it and looked inside finding a small burger and fries and a bottle of water.

All of a sudden everything came flashing back to her. Taiki had come to see her, she had brought her supper, Haruka had asked to go on a walk with her and then she...

A sob escaped her throat as she remembered that kiss and how Taiki had ran off after with no notice, no goodbye, she just ran away. Tears began to spill down her cheeks as another loud sob escaped her. She'd been so foolish. She shouldn't have kissed her. They'd only become friends 3 months ago and then she had gone and kissed her out of nowhere. She had become one of her closest friends and then she went and screwed it up.

The tears came falling faster and faster and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She was shaking as she cried, her heart pounding out of her chest as she worried she might have screwed up the best friendship she had.

She threw the bag of food on the floor, a couple fries spilling out of the bag and onto the floor but she didn't even care, the food was just a painful reminder, it was mocking her. She didn't care about anything, she was so scared. She couldn't lose another important person from her life.

She cried for what felt like forever before out of nowhere she heard the door open. She looked up to see Usagi standing there, dressed in her pajamas carrying a bag of what appeared to be more of her clothes.

"Usagi?" she choked out. "Why are you here?"

"I know it's late but I was worrying about you and couldn't sleep so I thought I'd bring you some more of your stuff." she said as she set the bag down on the floor. "What's wrong Haruka?"

The question made the blonde start crying all over again. The moon princess walked over to her and wrapped her arms around her in a tight hug. Several years ago it had been the opposite. Usagi used to go to Haruka with her fears and cry into her arms. And then the enemies disappeared and Usagi drifted away from Haruka somewhat and drifted more towards the inner senshi. But now here they were again except this time Haruka was the one who was scared and needed comfort.

Usagi rubbed her friend's back as she cried. She knew not to push her to talk if she didn't want to so she just held her, letting her for as long as she needed.

Haruka eventually pulled away, looking down into her lap trying to avoid eye contact as she tried to brush away her tears.

"Did something happen while I was gone?" Usagi asked.

Haruka nodded and another sob escaped her.

"Is there... is there anything I can do to help?"

The older girl stared quietly at her lap for a few minutes, twiddling with her fingers as she tried to hold her thoughts in. "I need to go see Taiki." she whispered, looking into her princess's eyes, hoping that she could see everything she was feeling and somehow make it all better and make the pain go away.

Usagi grabbed both her hands in hers and squeezed them tightly. "Once your ankle is better then yes, I will take you to Taiki." she said softly, squeezing her hands again, giving her a gentle smile.

A week passed by and even though her ankle was still healing everything else was pretty much healed completely and she was able to go home. She had heard Setsuna had suffered a mild concussion and a fractured wrist but she was alright. She hadn't talked to her since the accident and she had no desire to, even though she knew she should apologize to her since it was her fault.

Haurka's ankle was still bandaged up but she was able to walk without her crutches now even if she was still walking with a bit of a limp.

Everyday though she worried about what had happened with Taiki and the fact that a week had passed and she hadn't heard anything from any of the starlights worried her to no end.

She hadn't told Usagi what happened, mostly because she was scared of what she'd think of her feelings for the starlight, but she knew the moon princess probably already had an idea of what happened. Even though she acted like a ditz she was really smart and wasn't as clueless as people thought she was. But in the end she had still wanted to wait on going to Kinmoku which had frustrated Haruka to no end because she wanted to go NOW and talk things out.

But Usagi was no fool and she could tell something had happened between the two scouts and she knew that giving Taiki a bit of space would be better in the end for both of them. Haruka could say screw it and go anyways but Usagi knew that she needed her for physical support since she was still healing and wouldn't be able to handle the physical journey alone.

But after a week of waiting she decided that Haruka was ready and that they could make the trip to Kinmoku.

She met Haruka at her house early that morning and made her get up and get ready.

Haruka was scared, her heart was pounding because she had no idea what Taiki was going to say or if she'd even want to talk to her. But she knew she had to talk to her and find out what she was thinking and apologize and try to talk to her. She had to.

She grabbed her henshin rod out of her drawer which she hadn't used since she'd last gone to Kinmoku. She stared at it for a minute, feeling the cold metal in her hand, remembering how this used to feel when she'd be transforming nearly everyday, always on the run fighting new monsters with Michiru by her side. She'd felt powerful and invincible. Now she needed it to go and travel to another universe so she could try and make amends with the girl she'd once hated and who now... she was somehow falling in love with. It made her feel powerless.

She felt Usagi put her hand on her shoulder and she turned around to face her. "Are you ready Haruka?" she asked with a smile.

The older girl glanced down at her henshin rod and shrugged. "As ready as I'll ever be." she muttered, her grip tightening around it.

Usagi gave her a small but reassuring smile and the two made their way outside. They made their way to the back of Haruka's backyard where the trees were overgrown and hid them from the rest of the world.

Haruka pulled out her henshin rod at the same time as Usagi pulled out her transformation brooch.

"Uranus planet power!"

"Moon eternal, make up!"

The two sailor scouts each pulled out their respective items, Sailor Moon her eternal tiare and Uranus her sword, and they both lifted them high in the air at the same time.

Uranus closed her eyes as they repeated the process of teleporting and she tried to ignore the pressure on her ankle as they focused.

When she finally opened her eyes they were standing on Kinmoku and they were in front of the palace. Uranus felt a lump in her throat as she stared at it, knowing Maker was in there and that she would get to see her again. But she was scared. What if she hated her? Never wanted to talk to her again?

Her whole body started trembling and she was on the verge of tears when Usagi put a hand on her shoulder. "You can do this, Uranus." she whispered, giving her a small smile.

Uranus composed herself and gave her friend a smile in return before bracing herself to go face her fears. She made her way towards the palace door and found herself frozen in fear once she reached it. She forced herself to knock on the door and then she stood there, still as a statue as her heart hammered in her chest.

After what felt like forever the door finally opened and she found herself staring into the same violet eyes that had got her into this mess.

But before she could open her mouth to say anything to her, Maker realized just who was standing in front of her and her eyes went wide and she slammed the door in her face.

Uranus's heart fell as tears burned her eyes as she began pounding on the door. "Maker, gomenasai! Gomenasai! Please talk to me. Onegai!" she yelled as tears began falling down her cheeks as she continued pounding, desperate for the brunette to come back and hear her out.

After a couple minutes the door opened again but this time instead of being face to face with Maker it was Fighter who answered. Gone was her usual welcoming smile which had now been replaced by an angry scowl. "Uranus you need to leave. Maker doesn't want to talk to you."

"Fighter, onegai. I need to talk to her."

"She doesn't want to talk to you, Uranus! Leave her the hell alone. If you don't respect her wishes we will take matters into our own hands to keep you away from her. Now leave." she hissed before slamming the door shut, her words echoing in Uranus's brain on a loop.

The blonde fell to her knees as tears poured from her eyes, her heart shattering in her chest. "Maker!" she yelled. "Maker!"

She heard the sound of Sailor Moon's footsteps as she ran towards her and she felt her arms wrap around her but it wasn't enough. She just wanted to make things right. She wanted Maker to forgive her.

"She hates me." she cried. "She hates me."

Sailor moon shook her head. "She doesn't hate you."

The outer senshi said nothing and continued crying into her princess's chest, the pain of losing yet someone else she cared about too much to bare.

Maker sat on her bed, staring up at her ceiling blankly as she tried to block out everything she was thinking and feeling, she wished she could be numb, she didn't want to feel anything at all right now.

She heard a knock on her door and immediately she tensed up but when she recognized the voice as her leader's she relaxed.

Her raven haired companion opened the door slowly and walked in, sitting down beside her on her bed. "I told Uranus to leave you alone." she said softly.

"Arigatou Fighter."

"She seemed pretty upset... do you think you'll ever talk to her again?"

Maker buried her face in her knees as her leader gently rubbed her back in circles. "I don't know." she whispered as she stared at the picture of her and Haruka from the amusement park on her dresser.

She wanted to go back to the simpler times before Haruka had kissed her. But now everything was complicated. Maybe never speaking again was the best option after all.
