Chapter 21: "Ami And Usagi Face Off!"

**** Ami And Usagi Face Off! ****
Ami had confronted Darkness Sailor Moon. Mercury tried to
remind Darkness Sailor Moon who her real friends were and
what actually happened to her family. The more Ami told Usagi
the truth, the more it bothered Metalia about things about
Usagi's past. Then Metalia had full control of Sailor Moon
and Metalia didn't like to hear the name 'Usagi.' Ami saw a
tear from Usagi's eyes. Ami knew that her plan to return Sailor
Moon to normal was working. Metalia Sailor Moon spoke.
"You'll never reach her! Usagi is now beyond reach."
Metalia Sailor Moon snarled at Sailor Mercury!
"You're wrong Metalia! USAGI! FIGHT USAGI! EXPEL METALIA!
REMEMBER YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR FRIENDS! REMEMBER KENJI!
REMEMBER IKUKO! REMEMBER SHINGO! REMEMBER THAT THEY DIED
WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG! REMEMBERING THEM IS THE KEY! YOU MUST
REMEMBER REI, MAKOTO, MINAKO, LUNA, ARTEMIS, MAMORU, AND
MYSELF! WE TRULY CARE FOR YOU!"
Mercury yelled at Metalia Sailor Moon and not holding back.
Mercury was trying to get Usagi to cast out Queen Metalia
from her body. Usagi this time show more signs of remorse.
Mercury's pleas was working.
"WRETCHED MERCURY! DO YOU THINK YOU CAN REACH HER?"
Metalia Sailor Moon yelled at Sailor Mercury. Sailor Mercury
was determined as ever to reach Usagi.
"Usagi was doing so well until you possessed her. USAGI! FIGHT
USAGI! EXPEL HER! ONLY YOU CAN EXPEL HER! PLEASE USAGI HEAR
MY PLEA, CAST METALIA OUT!"
Mercury told Queen Metalia and then yelled louder to reach Usagi
even more. The memories of Usagi's friends and her family came
flooding back to her mind. The tears were more constant this
time. Metalia was losing.
"So, friendship between you and Sailor Moon has blossomed over
time that I am losing control over her!"
Metalia Sailor Moon spoke in a cold tone.
"USAGI! DO IT, CAST HER OUT! REMEMBER YOUR FRIENDS AND YOUR FAMILY!
REMEMBER ALL THE TALKS I HAD WITH YOU OF HOW I WOULD HELP YOU WHEN
YOU REALLY NEED IT! I AM ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU! CAST METALIA OUT!"
Mercury yelled again and Mercury reached Usagi more this time
and suddenly a bright light covered Metalia Sailor Moon and
the light increased with intensity and the light became so bright
that Mercury covered her eyes and when it was over the bright light
vanished and Sailor Moon's Sailor Fuku returned to normal and Sailor
Moon collapsed to the ground. Mercury ran to Sailor Moon. Sailor
Moon looked at Mercury with tears in her eyes. Mercury noticed that
she had tears in her eyes too. Mercury spoke to Usagi.
"Sailor Moon, are you alright?"
A worried Sailor Mercury asked. Sailor Moon looked up at Mercury
and spoke.
"Ami..."
Sailor Moon barely spoke. Usagi was exhausted. Usagi didn't understand
what had happened, but Usagi was free of the dark energy. Usagi fainted
due to all the energy she had used while she was possessed and also the
energy she used to expel Metalia. Mamoru saw from a distance that Mercury
had brought Usagi back to normal. Mercury picked up Sailor Moon and she returned
back to her apartment with Sailor Moon in her arms, bridal style. Mercury
knocked on the door and Makoto opened the door and there was Sailor Mercury
holding an unconscious Sailor Moon. Makoto smiled as Mercury came in with
Sailor Moon. Sailor Mercury placed Sailor Moon on the couch. It would be hours
before Sailor Moon would wake. But, she was now saved by Mercury. The greatest
question they had now was what damage was done while Usagi was possessed by Metalia.
They would soon find out.
