Anyway, this is the concluding chapter for this side-arc, as it is one because it has nothing to do with the Dark Hour and The Shadows, thus, it's a side-arc, and this is it, the last chapter for this arc. Chapter 21: Escape!
…At a cave by the waterfall…
…Some fishes are being roasted by the fire camp to the side, and right now, Riki is not facing the direction behind him for a very good reason; Kud's mother's clothes are wet and they're being dried up, but for some reason or another, she just removed her blanket, and is only wearing her bra and panties right now, which is already making the atmosphere more awkward than it is. Riki is with a blanket, but he's still wearing his clothes, despite it being wet, as well. After a while after Kud's mother removed her blanket, which, of course, utterly embarrassed Riki and for some very reason, she is not shy about not wearing her clothes or even showing to Riki about her not wearing the same clothes…
Anyway, she narrated what happened after they fall, which she was very in awe of what happened just now-despite falling into very high stories, she and Riki were unharmed, due to Riki summoning Trifler Celtic Guardian and formed a barrier then. Which is why they were unharmed; they were protected by that barrier and were drifted out of the cave or house-cavern as one can put it, which is like an haunted house as one can describe, and were drifted into a stream of water path that led them here… Riki was unconscious by then, and Kud's mother took him in her arms, and she goes to this cave that is behind a waterfall where they are now.
Riki is sitting by a rock stiff, where he's sitting and not facing the other direction where Kud's mother, who is only wearing bra and panties, is sitting. She is watching the fishes being roasted, "Um, i-is it true that you are Kud-san's—I-I mean," He shook his head, with Kud's mother turning her gaze to his back with him not turning around to face her, "Are you Noumi Kudryavka's mother…?"
"Hm…? Hai!" She answered enthusiastically… She's like an adult-version of Kud, for some many ways, and she has almost a similar mindset with that of Kud, as well. "Kud-kun is my daughter, and I was with her until she was sent to Japan… We… disagreed on many occasions."
"I-Is that so?" He said, taking mind not to pry into the family's privacy. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to…"
"No, no! Someone should know other than us. Sigh, I love Kud… She was… very bright. But, compared to her light, it seems like I'm just a dim light in a long cavern path."
"Eh?" Riki slightly turned, but is not looking directly towards Kud's mother.
"You can say… We have lived in different worlds, that Kud is living right now in Japan, but she didn't told me a word of her transfer there… Or at least, the government were adamant of keeping Kud-kun safe from any involvement with the project that I was involved with…"
"Kud-san's… mother. Oh, uh… I-Is it okay I refer to you as that…? I don't… Uh… A-About your name…"
"Hm…? Ah… Ah," She smiled a little in realization, then she smiled dazzlingly, "Hmhm, sure thing! I am Kud's mother, after all. Hehe, oh, that's right! I have not gotten your name, yet. You are…?"
"Oh, I'm Naoe Riki. I'm… Oh," 'That's right… I no longer live in the dorm so Kud-san and I are not…' He thought deeply as he recalled not being a resident of the dorm anymore… …"anymore", huh… "…"
"Hm…?" Kud's mother tilted her head with curiosity, "Naoe-kun…?"
"Ah, s-sorry… I just… pondered, for a while…" He said, as he lowered his upper body a bit,
"…? Ponder…?" She tilted her head, again. It's kinda cute, in fact.
"Well… …Kud-san and I lived in the same dormitory for a while, but then…" Riki narrated the events that transpired in his stay in that dormitory for students, but of course, he had to leave out some important parts… Like Little Busters going into Tartarus and stuff, and something related to it…

…Later, after Riki's explanation…
…Riki has narrated the events… "Well, that and… I cannot stay in that dorm, anymore…" Riki said, having have narrated all of that as he's not facing Kud's mother's direction.
"I… see. Hm," She eyes him with great interest, "You're very interesting, Riki-kun. Hm, hmhm~"
"Eh…?" He wondered what she meant by that, and she approached him, as she could be heard to be approaching. "Uuuaagghh!" Riki panicked, a bit, as he turned around a bit, not to the point that he's looking at her direction. "S-Stay back!" He covered himself, unsure of what might happen next.
"Hm? What is it? Let me sit beside you." She said going to his side-on his left-and sat there, with her just wearing her bra and panties.
"Wha-G-GUUAAAAAAGGGGHHH! What are you doing!? This is not good! A-Auuuuggghhh~!" Riki is making sure that his gaze is not directed towards her as she sat beside him.
"Hm…?" And again, she is still naïve about this sort of thing. "Hm," She giggled though. "You are a very kind boy," She said placing her hands over Riki's shoulders.
"Agh…!" He felt agitated at that, as she then placed her arms over his shoulders, and hugged his neck a bit, like a son… or something else, "Grrr…" Riki blushed furiously.
"Haha, Kud-kun can be quite stubborn sometimes you know, which was… Hm," Kud's mother formed a sad expression, "We were separated, and not just by distance… but by our own hearts…"
"Eh…?" While blushing still, Riki asked.
"We weren't always on good terms. The reason why she wishes to enroll in Japan was to also get away from me… Yet, she's always caring for me in one way or the other… Hehe, I suppose it's like an unorthodox relationship between her and myself…"
"What do you… mean?" Riki asked, with him slightly turning around, but not gazing at that direction.
"Sigh, it's… a little difficult to explain, but you could say…"
"Complicated…?" Riki asked, turning to her slightly more,
"Hmhm," She slightly nodded, as she rubbed both of Riki's shoulders gently and nicely…
"Gr," Which made the latter pale, and turned to face his front direction, "U-Um, you know, if it's a little narrow here, so I suppose you can… G-Guaaagghh!" Suddenly, he is urged-pushed to, actually-towards her direction, and he got buried towards her chest, "Gmghmngh… Gmngh…" He has stopped resisting,
"Heh… I suppose we have lived in different worlds…"
"Eh…?" Riki, who is still being snuggled, a bit, with him resting on the soft skin of Kud's mother, asked in wonder…
"There was like a parallel world where we lived in… She was living peacefully… or so I thought, even she has her own burdens, which she's willing to be led by someone… Which I fear then, that I may have failed as her own mother… …I… …I have failed her. Which is why she despised me then, and want to live in a different world. She would live on to see what the future waits… But I also know that might lead to a dangerous path…"
"Kud-san's mother…" Riki is allowed to have some space-where he can see her fully,
"I—"
"GYAAAAAAGGGHHH!" Which he got a nosebleed, upon that happening, and he turned around.
"Hm~?" …And she's still naïve about that… like her daughter… …like mother, like daughter, as it seems…
While trying to stop the blood from his nose, Riki could hypothesized something, 'Hmrgh, she and Kud-san are like the same… Only she's the mother and she's an adult version of Kud-san. Gah, she is much like Kud-san in every level." He said stopping the nosebleed.
"Naoe-san…?" She leans a bit closer,
"Please, I'M FINE!" Which made Riki panic, and shouted that, with a huge question mark above Kud's mother, and she tilted her head in wonder, and cutely.
…Later…
"Um, y-your clothes should be dry now. S-So, you can take it… um… J-Just in case." Riki, who is still not facing the other direction, said to Kud's mother.
"Hm~?" She turned her head towards his direction, with her tending to the fishes that were being roasted, "My… Ah, yes! They should be dry now. I'm going to put it on."
"H-Hai. Do so."
"Hm," She stood up, and goes to approach her clothes.
"H-Hai…" He looked down, with something in his mind, 'But come to think of it, now that we… Hm, oh, that's right! Sasagewa-san and Kyouhei… Where could they be? We escaped from that haunted house-like place, but…' As Riki thought that, the sound of a bicycle approaching and running echoed in this cave. "Eh?" Riki raised his head,
"Hm? Wha…?" Kud's mother has just dressed up, then… They both turned to the waterfall just near the entrance/exit of the cave.
"Riki-kuuuunn-!"
*SPLAAAASSSSCCHHHRRCHTT-!*
Suddenly, however, a bicycle, with Saya riding it with her wearing an helmet, appeared out of the waterfall.
"Wha-S-Saya-san!" Riki exclaimed in great surprise,
"Riki-kuuun!" She parked up after managing to maneuver her bicycle in a parking position, and she removed her helmet, with her smiling towards Riki. "I finally found you!"
…Later…
"Saya-san, wha—Guaaahhh!" Riki suddenly got kissed by Saya, with her holding his head, and pulling him closer.
"Oh my." Kud's mother was greatly surprised at that, with her slightly covering her mouth.
… …chu.
Saya broke up their lips.
"S-Saya-san… Wha-Why…?"
She winked at him, "It's only natural for us to be reunited and be overjoyed to see each other, right?"
"Eh? U-Um…" Riki, albeit very embarrassed and shy, slowly turned to Kud's mother… Who tilted her head in wonder, and cutely, as she is looked up. "K-Kud-san's mother… has been found."
Saya, with her still hugging Riki, turned around to face the subject in rescue operation like this, "Ah, we already know. That monkey-butt Kyouhei informed us, when we got to that haunted-house like place. And Sasami Sasasegawa is also in the safe location now."
"Eh? Y-You… You all…"
"Ah, we managed to fetch them up. Though that guy Kyouhei keeps insisting on coming. Well, anyway, we're both back together now. So let's do this." She winked at him.
"H-Hai…" Then, he turned to Kud's mother. "Th-Then, about her…"
Saya turned to her, as well. "Ah, so to that matter…" She approached her, and bowed before her. "Chernushka Strugaskaya-san, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Eh?" She said with her finger on her cheek, like a child. "Y-You are…"
Saya rose her body straight, "I'm Tokido Saya, I'm one of the staff personnel in that agency that was recently taking you in under their custody, until… Oh, pardon me, I don't wish to stir up bad memories…"
'Oh, that's right…' Riki remembered Saya's story before… Where Kud's mother was being under their custody, but then she disappeared… as there was a double-agent from inside.
"Ah… So you're one of those benevolent people who came to my request." She acted like a princess as she just picked up the edges of her white cape and bowed like a princess, like one.
"Likewise, we'll do everything we can to protect you." Saya bowed in respect before here. "Before we go…"

…
…Later, Saya explained things…
"Ah…" That was all Kud's mother's response.
Riki sweat dropped, wondering if she even understood all that.
"Anyway, we best get you out of here. We don't know how long the Russians will know that you're out here." Saya said, then, she turned to Riki. "Riki-kun, we're going to have to rely on your wild card power again, can we trust you?"
"Hm, h-hm." Riki nodded, quite eagerly, in fact.
Saya smiled at that. "As expected of my partner. You will be compensated greatly for your valid efforts here, Riki-kun. Once we get back-Ah, oh, that's right…" She has covered her mouth slightly, as if she just said something that she wasn't supposed to.
"Eh? Ah..." Riki himself realized something, what's he supposed to do after this…? He's not living in the dorm, anymore, but… … …He looked down, a bit uncertain… 'What will I do after this…? Will I… Will I continue going to my… … …Or go back to them…?' The faces of everyone, Little Busters, came to his mind… "Hm," He tightened his palms a bit, as he clenched them a little, and he has a bit of stern face. He turned his gaze towards Saya and Kud's mother. "What should we do, Tokido—I-I mean, Saya-san."
"… …You look like you have decided something. Hm," She smiled at that, "Yosh, let's go!"
"Hm," Riki nodded quite eagerly at that, again.
"Um, where are we…" Kud's mother tilted her head a bit, as she had asked that, quite cutely, too, as Saya walked a bit past her.
"We're going to have to get past some point here… Riki-kun," Saya turned back to Riki, "We have a bit of problem if we're going to have to go past the Russians… Well, first, let's get out of here. Chernushka Strugaskaya-san, please, follow us on the way."
"H-Hm." She nodded quite eagerly and a bit hardly. "Yosh~!" She said raising a closed fist upward, like a child and quite cutely, which Riki could picture Kud doing the same if it was her… Like mother, like daughter, as it seems…
Riki sweat dropped at that, though, but… Getting back to business, as Riki formed a bit of serious expression. 'At this rate, maybe I should… Hm,' He thought of letting the 'other guy' take over for now…

…"Yami Riki" is now in control.
…Riki's expression became serious and emotionless, "Saya-san, where are we going first?"
"Of course," Saya has turned to him, "let's go. We're going to go past to the area where I came in."
…The three, Riki, Saya and Kud's mother, have gone past some forest-like area, as this place is full of trees, tropical plants, in fact, as expected of Yakushima…
"Saya-san, how did you find Kyouhei and Sasagewa-san in the—Ah, wha…" Riki sweat dropped… he seems to have a bit of tongue-tied just now, and even before then… 'Oh right… It's Sasasegawa Sasami… I referred to her as Sasagewa… Ah,' He sweat dropped at that, while he's still "Yami Riki" at this state…
Saya is moving along some bushes, "Hm? Why, we heard you guys on that cave. Then, there's Kyouhei blabbering on which I didn't really understood, then, we found out that you and Chernushka Strugaskaya-san drifted to the water way nearby. So, I came to check up on you."
Riki sweat dropped at that. 'I bet she wasn't listening to Kyouhei…'
Saya turned back to the direction ahead, "Anyway, let's go. We're going to have pick up soon."
"Hm…? Pick up…?"
"Ah, Murluet will be providing us backup support, as well as transport. It will be a sipping of tea on the way home from here!"
"Ah…" Riki frowned a bit at that, as he and Kud's mother continued to follow.
"Ah, a coffee and tea. Coffee and tea!" She cheered, with a clenched fist upward, like a child, like something her daughter would do… Like really daughter and mother, it seems… Riki sweat dropped at that.
"Now, come on, before we-"
BOOOM-!
"Kyah!" "Ah!" Gwaah!"
The three responded in unison as an explosion occurred to the clearing up ahead.
"Haha, and I thought something was wrong, I knew you were here, my queen!" … …The colonel just then, which he was seen by Riki earlier when he was looking for Kud's mother as per the mission objective of the agency laid down by the government or someone… Anyway, the colonel back then seems to have found Kud's mother, again.
"Ah! C-Colonel Sukhov…" She said, a bit frightened.
""Who?""
Both 'Yami Riki' and Saya asked.
"Here I thought you would have gone a picnic, but now,"
*Blaaaarrrccceeerrrrcccggghhhtttcchhzzzttcckk-!*
"Guah!" Saya exclaimed as a massive electric current flow through the colonel's body for some reason.
"Saya-san!" Riki helped her up, while Kud's mother is trying not to let her cape and hat get blown away.
"How dare you get my queen, you two stupid lovebirds!" The colonel shouted at Riki and Saya who are being blown away a bit by that current of electric surge around him. Is this guy… not normal…? Like, someone manga event is happening, like someone who can use electricity…?
"Lovebird? Gr, how dare you insult me and my partner!?" Saya said, while still covering the top of her head from the impact that is being sent towards them,
"Who the heck are you…?" Riki, "Yami Riki", asked the Colonel.
"Hmph, I don't have to answer you. Now, you will *die*!" Suddenly, the Colonel let out a strong burst of electricity, and sent it towards Riki.
"Gr, Persona-!" Riki immediately grabbed his evoker,
BANG-!

"Freedom Sword-!" Trifler Celtic Guardian comes to defend Riki and the other two.
"Ah! Wha-What in the world…!? H-N-Naoe Riki-san! H-How did you!?" Kud's mother said in great exclamation, as this is her first time witnessing supernatural phenomenon events.
Saya grinned at that, "I was expecting more of a surprised expression than that, but, I'll join you, Riki-kun!" Saya ran up to the side of Riki, she grabbed her evoker. "Per-so-NA-!"
BANG-!
…Flaaaaaassshhh!
"Come forth, Elemental Hero, Neos!"
Flaaaaassshhh!
"Huah!" The said persona has appeared and struck a pose of a superhero.
"Aaaahhhhhh…!" Kud's mother is even more shocked now, "T-Tokido Saya-san, you are… Naoe Riki-san…"
"Please stand back for now. Hiyaaaa!" "Huaaahhh!"
Riki and Saya beckoned their personas to attack.
"Gr, I don't know what you two are doing, or what is going on, but it seems you two can also share the same power as I do, HUAAAARRRRGHHH!" The colonel lunged towards them,
'Have to do it again…' Riki thought of that last time technique, which was when he used two personas at the same time, during that battle at that love hotel. He immediately grabbed his evoker, "Fusion Spell: Mirror Force, come forth, Black Magician!"
Blaast-!
A burst of blue mist came out, and then, the other persona, Dark Magician, came out and struck a pose as well. Then,
Flaaaaassshhhh-!
A radiant like light formed in front of Riki and Saya, and it's emanated further when the electricity of the Colonel came into contact with it.
"Wha…"
"Riki-kun!" Saya said, she doesn't know what this is, as she never seen it before.
*BOOOOOOOOMMMM-!*
"Guaaarrrghh!" A huge explosion has taken aback the Colonel.
"Now, Tokido—I-I mean, Saya-san, NOW-!" Riki exclaimed, giving Saya the signal.
"Eh? Ah," She realized it immediately, "O-Oh right-!" Saya said, grinning like hell. "Now, Neos, kill that bastard to the ground!"
"Huaaaahhh!" Neos charged forward with a ray of radiant light being left behind by him.
"Wrath of Neos-!" Saya exclaimed the name of the attack.
"Huaaaahhh!"
*BOOOOOOMMMM-!*
Neos pummeled at the Colonel,
"Guaaaarrrghh!" He is blown away greatly by that,
"A-Amazing… That was amazing…!" Kud's mother was impressed. (Note: Kinda like what Fuuka said when she witnessed how the SEES guys fought for the first time, in the game of Persona 3)
"Now, hurry! Chernushka Strugaskaya-san, follow us!" Saya said running to the side direction,
"H-Hai. Naoe-san, let's go!"
"Hm," Riki, who is still in "Yami Riki", turned to the direction where Saya ran. "All right." He ran towards there, too.
The three of them ran for it.
"Get back here with my Quee—GAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH-!" The Colonel is engulfed by the explosion.
…The three are running through the forest, with Riki following the two girls in front of him as they run.
"Saya-san, where is our destination!"
"At the coast! We're going to have a pickup there! Let's go!"
"Eh? P-Pick up! Huff, huff, huff…" Kud's mother asked, as she kept running along with the other two.
"Ah, wha-G-Get down, Riki-kun, Chernushka Strugaskaya-san!" She suddenly jumped at Riki and Kud's mother to hide them from—
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang-!
A storm of fire shootout! A lot of Russian soldiers seem to have arrived and were actually hiding in the bushes,
"Kyaaaaahh!" Kud's mother screamed, terrified.

…Riki switched back to his usual behavior-and-
"Gah! S-Saya-san!" Saya's breasts are on his face as she is on top of him, which sounds kinda wrong, as they take cover.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang-!
The Russians kept firing, then-
"Give me back my Queen! Spare her, but let none survive other than her!" The Colonel earlier has arrived, and he seems to be very much wounded, with his clothes being torn from the explosion earlier. "GET THEM-!"
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang-!
"Gr," Riki pointed his Evoker at his temple, "Per-sona!"
BANG-!
"Freedom Sword!" Trifler Celtic Guardian is summoned, making a barrier around them.
A lot of the bullets were blocked by that impregnable barrier.
"Good going, Riki-kun!"
Chu!
"Gah!" Riki got kissed on the cheek, "G-Gaaaaahhh!"
"Mou, Riki-kun~ You don't have to be shy."
"Th-That's not the issue here!" He said as he has stood up, blushing.
"Hehe~ How cute of you~" She said enjoying his reaction.
"Gr… Wha, oh, Kud-san's mother! Are you all right?"
"H-Hai… Um, why are they all firing at us?" Kud's mother who is ducking on the ground while covering her head, asked.
"Th-That's…" Even Riki is out of answer for that one…
"Sayacchi!" A voice called out from the side,
"Ah!" "Ah!"
Both Saya and Riki responded in unison, recognizing that voice.
"That voice… Kyouhei!?" Saya asked while exclaiming a bit,
"PER-SO-NA-!" Kyouhei exclaimed from the sideline which is at the eastern side of the forest-

Flaaaaasshhh!
Blue mist has burst out of the side-
"Huh-!?" """Huh-!?"""
All the Russian soldiers turned there, then, a strong whirlwind have gathered-
"DIVINE WIND-!" Kyouhei, with a evoker pointed at his temple, exclaimed in god-like tone, with Sasami right behind him-!

He fired at the evoker again,

All the soldiers were blown away by the tornado summoned by Kyouhei's persona, Jiraiya, as he summoned it to fend them off-
"Gah! K-Kyouhei!" Riki exclaimed in surprise at the sight of him and Sasami.
"Yo! Sorry if we missed the party!" Kyouhei said grinning like a child, with a thumbs up.
"Ah!" "Ah…!"
Both Riki and Saya responded in unison, then, Saya grinned.
"Gr, always have to show up, huh, Sunohara-kun? All right, I'll let you owe me a debt this time around-!" She said as she drew out her Evoker gracefully, then she pointed at her temple-!
BANG-!
"Come forth, Neos!"
Flaaaaassshhh!
"Huaaaahhh!" Elemental Hero, Neos, has been summoned.
"Go, WRATH OF NEOS-!" Saya said in god-like tone, as well.
"Huaaahh!" Neos charged at the soldiers, leaving a ray of radiant light behind him-
*BOOOOOOOMMMM-!*
"""Guuuuuaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh-!"""
All the soldiers were blown away by the muscular alien-like persona.
"YOU DAMN BRATS-!" One war veteran, as he seems to be, let out a gatling gun. "RAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!"
"Hey, you'll harm the Russian rocket scientist, sto—"
"SHUT UUUUPPPPPP-!" The war veteran seems to be very impulsive,
"SAYA-SAN!" Riki beckoned his persona, Celtic Guardian, to guard everyone, with it being effective due to its barrier. (Note: Kinda like Infinity barrier from Persona 3, isn't it?)
Block, block, block, block, block-!
"Gah!" Saya was taken aback as the bullets seem to be rapid-fired and are, in fact, large in caliber!
Riki ran up to Saya, "Saya-san!"
"Riki-kun!"
"Damn bastard!"
"Hey, worm! We have to save everyone else! Aho-y! Everyone, in here!" Sasami beckoned at everyone to come to their position,
"Shut up! Stop calling me "worm", or "butt-monkey" or whatever! It's getting on my nerves, and damn it, your ojou-sama horse laugh really gets to fit with the stage play, isn't it!? Maybe you should wear a pigeon trick for the few tricks your sleeves!?"
"I don't even know what means, worm, now be a man, and get everyone in-line!"
"Yes-Oh-Mighty-Ojou-SAMA, DAMMIIIIITTTT-!" Kyouhei said in frustration, as he beckoned his persona to come at the enemy!
"YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY YOU DAMN BRAAAAAATTTTSSS!"
"Bastard! I'm gonna get you!" Riki said, and drew out his evoker and pointed it at his temple,
"Riki-kun!" Saya said in concern,
BANG-!
"Per-so-NA-!" Riki said in a godly tone, then, "Come forth, Red-eyes Black Dragon!"
BAANG-!
Flaaaaassssshhhh!
A burst of blue fog emerged out of the ground,
"GROOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRR-!" Red-eyes Black Dragon soared high!
"Ah! N-Naoe Riki-san!" Kud's mother was impressed at that,
"Ah!" "Wah!"
Kyouhei and Sasami were also stunned at that,
"N-Naoe Riki!" Sasami exclaimed.
"Dark Mega Flare-!" Riki, with his Evoker still pointed at his temple, exclaimed loudly,
"GROOOOOAAARR-!" *BLAAAASSSSRRRRRCCHHHRAAZZEE-!*
Red-eyes let out a meteorite-like attack towards the war veteran,
*BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM-!*
-The entire coast is covered with blackness and explosion,
"GUAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH-!" The war veteran is engulfed by that dark sphere that formed out of the explosion-
"Gyaaaahhh!" "Gyaaaahh!" "Guaaaahhh!"
The girls covered themselves from the attack,
