Meet the Pines - A Gravity Falls Fanfiction...

A/N - Well here is chapter twenty one! Thanks so much for all the reviews from last chapter you guys ROCK! :) OMG! This story is almost finished and I'm happy but sad at the same time! A lot happens in this chapter so please ENJOY! As normal I own nothing from MTR or GF.

Chapter 21

A Fight For the Future

Dipper flew the machine over buildings, people, and the scary new future that laid a head of him. Honestly this place scared him and to see that Mabel, not only his daughter but his best friend not in the world, upset him and he felt bad for not fixing the time machine. Then Dipper realized he had fixed the time machine and he needed to go back and stop Gideon from passing off his invention before all of this happens. He was going to fix this mess.

The giant fairy building was following him and Dipper had no idea how to escape this thing because it was annoying him and it was close to him. However he looked a head of him and saw a small tunnel opening and smiled to himself because he knew he could get away. But before he could a bunch of smaller fairies came up to the machine and tried to break there way through. Dipper went right threw the tunnel and killed them all.

As soon as he flew into the tunnel Dipper smiled because he got away from the giant fairy and he began to fly through the tunnel. However he was close to the other exit there was a bright red light and Dipper had to stop the machine as fast as he could because other wise he would have ran into the fairy. Looking backwards he began to slowly back up the time machine hoping to get out the other end. But sadly smaller fairy's were coming.

"Ugh! Why did I ever find this stupid fairy from book three!?" Dipper questioned in annoyance as he looked in front of him.

Suddenly Dipper's eyes widen, he couldn't believe he never thought about since he's been driving a time machine the whole time. Yet, the thought about going back in time and stopping Gideon at that moment never came to him because he's been to busy running for his life. Instantly he grabbed the lever on the machine, pulled it, and began to punch in a bunch of buttons, then he turned the machine into to drive. This was going to work.

"Take a good look around Doris! Cause your future's about to change!" Dipper said as he narrowed his eyes and began to drive the machine.

Dipper pressed his foot onto the gas pedal and the time machine began to zoom through the tunnel faster and closer towards Doris. Before the machine would have made it to Doris a small colorful orb came around Dipper and he disappeared into the time stream. Suddenly Dipper no longer found himself in that horrible future without Mabel and his family, instead he found himself in front of Inventco's main office. In front of Gideon.

"Gideon no! Don't do it, you don't know what your doing!" Dipper exclaimed with worry as Gideon sent him a glare and dropped the pen he had.

"Shut up! Yes I do! I'm ruining your future!" Gideon explained with a evil smiled as Dipper rolled his eyes.

"She's using you Gideon, once she get's what she wants she'll toss you away." Dipper explained the best he could.

However Gideon didn't get a chance to answer because Doris the small fairy brought her wings out and her claws on her hands. Instantly the claws began to snip at him like crab claws and Doris began to come closer towards him. Dipper was freaked at first, but then he remembered that he wasn't letting a fairy push him around anymore. He held his head high and smiled as the fairy came closer and ready to chop his head off.

"I am never going to find you!" Dipper stated as the fairy stopped and looked at him for a moment before losing all it's magic and disappearing forever.

"Come on Gideon I have something to show you." Dipper said as he held out his hand for Gideon and smiled.

Strangely Gideon had accepted his hand and together they got him into the time machine and Dipper punched in quiet a couple of numbers. Dipper was hoping that if he showed Gideon the future that he would have created all because he listened to Doris that this would change his mind. They arrived in the future and everything seemed to still be the way it was with the ruined city and with Doris the fairy still in charge. It was turning back to the future.

"Doris...I-I thought she was my friend..." Gideon said with a frown as he put his head down, he felt bad for what he did to Dipper now.

Dipper took the machine and began to pull down in front of the Pines house. It turned back to normal like the rest of the future and Dipper opened the hatch of the machine and he and Gideon both jumped out. They stood in the yard for a moment and Dipper turned around to see a swirl of colors come closer to them, instantly he knew what was happening and he smiled, Mabel appeared before them a few minuets later...
