Now, on with the story.

Chapter 20

Fifteen minutes had passed since the 'Ana vs Little Cody' incident. Sierra, LeShawna and Gwen had taken the orange cat to their room, closing the door so the animal wouldn't escape, and took the opportunity to take a little nap. After all, walking around the city, plus the excitement around the arrival of the cat, left them pretty worn out.

The door opened slightly, letting in a vertical line of light into the room. Orange furred ears perked up, and the cat raised it's head, looking at the door.

"Bzz-bzz-bzzz…" a female voice called out to him. "Come here, little Cody. Come on."

The cat let out a low mewl and jumped from Sierra's bed to join the newcomer.

"Good boy. Come here, I got a little task for you." A smirk graced the figure's lips.

"Marco. Patrícia. Wakey wakey."

Cody's gentle voice echoed in their heads as the two kids started waking up. They each let out a yawn and rubbed their eyes sleepily.

"Come on, guys, time to get up. Which one of you takes a shower first?" The gap-toothed teenager asked.

"I do." Patrícia was quick to answer.

"What?!" Marco screamed. "Why would you go first?"

"Eu sou uma senhora, that's why!" (1)

"Pfft, no you're not! You're many things, but senhora is not one of them!" The raven haired boy smirked at his joke, pride taking over him and keeping him from seeing the punch coming to his right shoulder. "OW‼! See?"

"You asked for it!"

Cody shook his head in amusement. "Now now, children, settle down. Let's do it this way: Patrícia takes a shower in this suite's bathroom and Marco will take a shower in my suite's bathroom. That way the lady can have her privacy." He winked with a smile.

At hearing this, Marco brightened up, sticking his tongue out at his sister in victory as he and Cody walked out of the room.

"How far away are we?"

"Twenty more minutes and we'll arrive." Ricardo answered his leader, not taking his eyes off his computer's screen.

"Good." Ana stood up and started walking to the door. "If anyone has anything they need to do, do it soon too, and get ready when you're done. We can't screw this up again." She said before finally leaving.

"Oh no! Nononononono noooooo‼!"

"LeShawna woke up to the sound of Sierra shuffling around the room, looking for something.

"Girl, what's going on?" She asked the purple haired girl.

"Little Cody's gone! I don't know where he is!" The tall girl replied in panic.

"What?!" Gwen also stood up to look around. "That's impossible! We closed to door to make sure he wouldn't leave!"

"Well he's not here! I can't find him!" Sierra let out in panic.

"Calm down, sistah." LeShawna approached her and held her by the shoulders. "He can't go very far, not while we're in the air. Let's go find him. If we're lucky, we'll be able to get him before Ana does. Come on." She said, leading the way out of the room.

When Noah walked out of his room, he expected a lot of things. The trip had been a crazy one, to be honest.

Finding almost everyone searching for something around the plane was not one of those things.

He sighed. "Okay, what is Chris forcing you to look for?"

No one answered, too busy searching in panic. He noticed, however, that Duncan merely observed, leaning against the wall with a smirk.

"Will you be so kind as to answer my question?" the know-it-all crossed his arms, catching the bad boy's attention.

"Sierra's cat went missing." He smirked wider.

"And you're happy, why?" Noah raised an eyebrow at him.

"Because I'll get to watch Ana flip out again once she finds out."

"You ain't telling her nothing, Duncan!" LeShawna stood up, glaring at him. "Do you even imagine what she'll do if she finds out the cat is walking round the plane?"

"Yeah, and it's gonna be hilarious." He was already slightly chuckling at the though.

The Indian teenager's eyes travelled around, trying to spot anything that looked like the orange furball. Surely the feline was around the room, hiding somewhere.

"GAAAAHHH‼!"

Or not.

He looked behind him, staring as 'Little Cody' ran for his life, coming from down the corridor, immediately rushing to Sierra, yet hissing back in the direction he just came from.

"Little Cody, I finally found you!" she let out happily, hugging the animal close.

"Okay, who was the little shit who left the cat in the can?!"

Everyone looked back. Ana was looking at them, mainly keeping her eye on the animal she had just chased there. Her whole body was covered in scratches, and even her clothes had been slightly torn.

The only answer she got was Duncan's laughter.

"I was right! This is hilarious‼! Just look at you! Almost cut to slices by a miserable cat!" he laughed even harder, clutching his stomach.

Her eyes narrowed dangerously, no longer focused on the cat but on the punk teen.

"Akamai." The calmness of her voice was distressing, but Noah remained unfazed, merely walking over to her. "Do you know how to castrate?"

"Just read about it, never done it." He replied, not exactly seeing where she was going with that kind of conversation.

"If not performed correctly, it could lead to serious problems. Perfect." Ana took out her knife and handed it to the skinny nerd. "I'll hold him, you cut." She instructed, already approaching Duncan once Noah took the knife.

"Ana?"

She groaned and rolled her eyes at hearing Ricardo call her. "What?"

"Already spoke with them, we can land if we do it right now."

She sent the bad boy one last glare, then started walking back to her team, taking her knife back from Noah on the way. "Then take the chance, land right now. The sooner we turn this whole plane off, the better."

After making sure she was away and couldn't hurt him, Owen went over to Noah. "Why would you read about castration?"

The look the know-it-all sent him made him feel like the dumbest person on Earth. It wasn't that obvious, was it?

It took him a few seconds, but he eventually figured it out. "Oh, right… Guy kidnapped your boyfriend, right…" he laughed nervously, while Noah just rolled his eyes once more.

"So…" He heard Cody say as the smaller teenager walked back in the cockpit. "Where are we going now?"

He looked at him at first, not sure if he should say it or not. His shoulders slumped. There wasn't any harm in telling him. He wasn't giving any details about what he planned anyway.

"Japan."

"Japan?!" Cody didn't even have time to reply to Alejandro, for two young kids intervened, running into the cockpit and straight to the bigger boy. They each had a glow in their eyes that none of the teenagers had ever seen. "That is like, videogame Heaven‼!" Patrícia let out.

"Yeah! Most of the games they have there haven't even come out in Portugal!" Marco also informed, grabbing onto Alejandro's chair. "We totally have to stop there!"

The tanned young man closed his eyes in annoyance. "Do you kids ever think of anything besides videogames?"

The twins looked at each other, then back at him. "We think of food sometimes too."

"Yeah, always wanted to try their food! I keep hearing about this thing called… 'Hazabi'?" The young boy tried to recall how it was called.

Alejandro just looked at him in confusion, then at Cody, hoping he could enlighten him as to what the boy was trying to say.

"I think he's referring to Wasabi." The thin teenager explained.

"Yeah, that's what I said!" Marco let out excitedly.

"We must try that!" his sister agreed with just as much enthusiasm.

Alejandro frowned at them now that he understood what they actually wanted to try. "You two are not having Wasabi."

They whined. "Why not?!"

"You just aren't. I don't care how much you'd like to try it, I am not letting you." He answered, focusing back on the skies ahead of him. "I don't know what effects it would have on you, and I certainly do not want to find out."

Cody smiled as the two twins stared at him, giving him the puppy eyes, trying to get him to change Alejandro's mind.

He winked, making a silent promise.

"Why won't you two go play or something? There will still be a while until we land." He looked at the tanned man. "Right?"

Alejandro just nodded.

Defeated, the two twins walked away and out of the cockpit.

Cody looked back at the pilot. "What are you thinking?"

Alejandro stared back, confused. "What do you mean?"

"Your mind is somewhere else, I can see it. Something's troubling you." Teal eyes watched him intently, and if trying to enter his mind and discover what was going on inside it.

The tanned young man averted his gaze, but still felt watched, and eventually accepted that Cody would not leave him alone until he spilled the beans.

"We're meeting someone there." He explained. "Someone that I haven't seen in a long time."

The skinny teenager became very curious. "And who's that?"

"José Burromuerto." His gaze met Cody's once more. "My brother."
