Hiiii! I am terribly sorry about this long delay on updating the final chapter of this story. Some family problems, having my muse die down a little, work... ugh, it all helped. But here it is. The last chapter.

I want to thanks to everyone that followed, and favourited, and reviewed this baby of mine and I hope to hear from you again, if I ever write anything else.

Chapter 20 - Epilogue

-One Year Later-

It was the middle of the night when Emma tossed on her side of the bed and tried to find her husband on his side and felt nothing. Not his warm, naked body. Only empty sheets that made the princess peek one eye open and start to wake up as sleep disappeared from her mind. Though she didn't like to wake up alone, she knew where her pirate was.

Emma got up and slowly made her way to the nursery next to their royal chambers and there she heard the low rumble of Killian's voice soothing their first child, who was letting out small whimpers.

Standing by the door, Emma watched him. She had imagined this, back when Killian was just a lieutenant and they had their first night together. The dream had evaporated in thin air when he died. Replacing him was the dark pirate that she brought back to the light. And who would have guessed that the vengeaful man she had come to know, would have now a tiny, fragile baby in his arms, cooing softly with an amazed look on his bright blue eyes, while his son looked up and smiled at him, trying to catch his nose?

"Look, we woke up Mommy." Killian whispered when he turned and saw Emma, while the baby cooed in response. He beamed at his son's little sounds. "Did we woke you, love?"

"No. I just missed my loves." Emma said softly, approaching them.

Killian kissed her temple, while Emma looked down at the baby in his arms. "Liam was restless."

Frowning, worried, the princess leaned forward and kissed the small baby with a smile. "There, my little heart." Her thumb caressed the tiny forehead in a soothing manner.

Three months old Liam cooed softly at his mother's kiss, a small smile appearing on his lips, while sleep slowly took over him again and he cuddled against his father's warmth.

"Our little happy ending." Killian whispered, watching his wife and son with pride and love on his heart.

"Perfect." Emma responded with a smile, looking up at her pirate. "I love you, Kil."

"I love /you/, my princess."

"And we love you, Liam." Emma giggled softly when the baby took over one of her locks and smiled sleepily at his mother voice, like he knew what they were saying. "He's just like you, Killian." She remarked at her son's gesture.

With a smirk appearing on his lips, Killian rolled his eyes. "Now, young lad, you should sleep." The pirate gave Liam one last kiss on his tiny head and placed him in the cradle, Liam's little thumb already going between his lips.

Wrapping his arms around his wife, Killian placed his chin on her shoulder while they watched their son for a few minutes. Emma leaned into her husband with a happy sigh.

"He /is/ you, Killian." She whispered, turning her head to look at his dark features.

"He's more like you, love. He's restless when he sleeps. Just like /you/." Emma pouted at Killian's comment which made him chuckle.

"Stop... You know I can't resist that."

"Then give me a kiss, pirate."

"As you wish." With a smirk, Killian leaned forward and kissed her softly.

Slowly, they held onto each other, the kiss heating like a slow fire burning.

"I love you so much." The princess sighed against his lips.

"I love you through time and space, Emma." Killian nuzzled her nose, his blue eyes on her green ones, bright from the moonlight.

Emma held onto his shirt, giggling lightly, as Killian showered her lips and cheeks with kisses, ending with her nose and then lips.

"Should we go back to bed, my love?"

Emma nodded sleepily while Killian took her hand and they went back to bed, his princess already cuddling against his side, while he watched her and the nursery door with a happy smile on his lips, falling asleep soon after.

-Two Years Later-

A cry of pain echoed through the walls of the castle.

Emma squeezed Killian's hand tightly, closing her eyes.

"You're doing good, love..." He said softly, frowning at her pain.

"Kil…" A few tears slipped Emma's eyes when her green eyes turned to him. "It's… difficult…" She panted, clearly tired.

Killian only wanted to take her pain away. The little one's birth was being worse than Liam's.

"I love you, princess"

"I love you too, pirate..."

With another wave of pain, Emma let out another scream, pushing hard.

"It's almost over, love..." At his words, a cry was heard. A baby's cry. Both Emma and Killian looked at the mid-wife.

"It's a girl, Your Highness." The woman said with a smile on her face.

Emma gasped softly with a weak smile, finally leaning back against the pillows on the bed while the mid-wife gently placed the small baby in her arms. She was stunned at the little girl. It was like she glowed.

"What shall we name her, sweetheart?" Killian watched, amazed at the vision of his two lasses, already sensing the magic both possessed.

"Hope." Emma looked up at Killian, at the meaning of the name.

Killian smiled, looking into her bright green eyes. "It's beautiful, Emma." He held the tiny fist in his big hand softly. "Hello, my Hope."

Beaming at the sight, the princess smiled at them both, until Killian looked at her, worry written on his blue eyes, while he placed a kiss on her lips. "You should rest, love."

Emma nodded softly, a smile appearing on her lips when she slowly handed little Hope to her eager father's arms.

Gently, Killian took their daughter into his arms. "Sleep, love... I'll take care of her..." He whispered, placing a kiss on her head.

"I love you, Killian."

"I love you too, my princess."

"You have a new princess now." Emma half smirked, half pouted, watching him and Hope.

Killian smiled and leaned forward again. "Aye, I do." And placed a kiss on Emma's nose, making her blush and close her eyes.

While he saw the women clean Emma and their chambers, his princess fell asleep along with his little lass cuddled in her white blanket still in his arms, which made her even more magical, just like her mother.

Finally, after the women left, Killian sat next to Emma, watching both sleep, sometimes hearing the birds singing out of the window, the memory getting engraved in his memory, just like the first day with Liam.

"Killian…?" Emma's voice took him off his thoughts and he looked at his tired princess.

"Aye, love?"

"Are you going to sleep?" She moved slowly, turning on her side, her ringed hand coming to caress the baby's little head.

"Aye, love. You sleep... Don't worry about me..."

"I want my husband..." Sleepily, Emma pouted, pulling over his sleeve lightly.

With a sigh and a smile, Killian rolled his eyes, standing up and placing little Hope on her cradle, soon shedding some of his clothes and getting into bed, his arms immediately wrapping around Emma, who placed her head on his shoulder, while her hand went to his heart, feeling it's thumping.

The princess smiled, feeling her husband's... her pirate's lips placing a kiss on her head. And while she closed her eyes, she knew her dreams were reality.
