"See what happens when you don't listen to me!" Scorpius hissed as the Great Hall doors burst open.
I don't know what I had been expecting, but this was not it. There were probably no more than a hundred people, some of them that I recognized from criminal photos, others I had actually met. Clearly was Lucius Malfoy, wearing dark black robes. His platinum blonde hair was long and stringy while his eyes held a crazy glint. The others were in muggle clothes of every kind. Some girls wore skirts and sweaters, others were holey jeans and t-shirts. In every hand was a wand and in every eye determination, that was the uniform.
I met Alexander's eyes and he shot me a small smile. Next to him, a certain Narcissa Malfoy had a hand resting on his shoulder. She gave me a small nod, as if to signify she was on our side.
"Accio wands!" Lucius barked out, holding a wand that you could tell was brand new due to its shiny lacquer.
Every wand in the room wiggled away from their owners, leaving everyone in the room still with magic defenseless. Everyone was speechless and couldn't believe it was happening.
Nodding at two, brawny guys on his side, Lucius looked over the student tables and smiled gleefully at the teachers before walking down the aisle created by the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables. For being as old as he was, nearing his seventies now, he had an air of power around him that not even the boldest and thick skulled of the Gryffindors could ignore.
"Well, well, well," Lucius smiled. "Aren't you going to ask us how we got in this time?"
"What are you doing here, Lucius?" Professor McGonagall demanded angrily.
"It really wasn't that hard," Lucius said, continuing on as if McGonagall had said nothing, calmly pacing the front of the room. "All I had to do was get a spy-and that was the easy part! You see," He turned to the teachers. "You really don't learn from your mistakes. You practically handed us the spy giftwrapped! A poor, poor mud- muggleborn who would graduate soon and would have nowhere to go. His parents are scared of him because he has magic and you are all scared of him because he has ambition! Come out here, dear boy!"
Out from the crowd of Slytherin rebels, a short, squatty house elf appeared. As the house elf walked however, Lucius waved his wand and the house elf grew, becoming…Dean.
There was a collective gasp from the Slytherin table and Romana stood up angrily only for me to pull her back down immediately and clamp my hand over her mouth. However, attention was already on us and Lucius started walking to us.
"You idiot!" Farrah hissed angrily at Romana with a small glare.
"Shut. Up." Walker bit out, his voice becoming shaky as Lucius walked closer and closer to us.
Lucius smiled, a real actual smile, at us. "Ah, these must be the new Slytherins that I have heard so much about. You must be Romana."
Romana shook my hand off her mouth and glared at her uncle-by-law. "What about it?"
Lucius laughed, "So much like your mother."
"I am nothing," She said standing up and planting her hands on the table angrily. "Like that bitch!"
Lucius moved on from Romana who had begun to shake. "Again, your mother's temper."
It was clear that Romana was about to lose it so I tugged her back down. Maybe she should have been a Gryffindor.
"And you must be Scorpius," Lucius said, looking at Scorp who was shielding his eyes with one hand, doing the ostrich in the sand. Muttering a curse, Scorpius looked up at his grandfather.
"Uh…yeah," He said, obviously uncomfortable.
"My only grandson," Lucius smiled proudly causing Scorpius' eyes to narrow dangerously.
"I'm not your anything." He growled.
Lucius raised his eyebrows, "Oh-really?" He laughed. "Would you really go against your own family for people who don't even like you?"
"Yeah," He stood up and looked Lucius in the eye. "I would." With that, Scorpius spat on Lucius shoes.
Lucius glared at Scorpius and turned to look at one of his lackeys who I chose not to recognize, "Put him with the teachers," Lucius scowled. "We need to keep an eye on him. Put the rest in the dungeons…but leave the Slytherins."
Soon enough, everyone was shepherded and wrestled out of the Dining Hall. The teachers tried their hardest to stay, but without magic they were nothing. When Scorpius was taken away, I scowled slightly. He had a plan, that was obvious for he never let his anger get the better of him and Lucius was in his nightmares. It would have been nice if he would have told us the plan first, though.
The people left were Lucius, Dean and Ali Finnegan, who had graduated two years ago. All us Slytherins stood up and Lucius vanished the table with a flick of his wand. We naturally gaggled into a small group.
"So, children," Lucius smiled. "Are you ready to take your place among our ranks?"
"I'd rather die." Romana spat out angrily.
Lucius' expression darkened. "Oh, really?"
"Romana, please," Ali begged. "You don't get it yet! When you graduate and are starving on the streets, you'll understand that what Lucius is offering is better!"
Walker shoved his way to the front, with me putting my hands on his shoulders to keep him from going any farther. "You're a traitor! You know the Malfoys would have taken you in, they could have helped you! They had to go through it too, you know that!"
"My own family didn't want me anymore," Ali bit out angrily. "I was disowned because of some stupid hat. Even Draco says that's not right."
"It doesn't mean that you can go hijacking a school!" I exclaimed. "It's wrong, but you're better than this! What are you going to do when he makes you crucio a first year, hm? Do you think that's going to be right? You know Anna; she's a Gryffindor. What if you have to torture her?"
Lucius rolled his eyes, "Why do you care about a little Gryffindor? What have they ever done for you?"
"She is my little sister, and she always will be. If you touch a single hair on her head, then I cannot be responsible for my actions," I growled angrily. "And I'll have you know, Gryffindors aren't…that bad. And to tell you the truth, its people like you and Ali and Dean that have given us this reputation!"
Lucius sighed, "I guess we cannot persuade you then." He turned to Dean and Ali. "Throw them in the dungeon."
Oh, no…I looked at Romana wildly, asking her in my eyes what I was supposed to do. Her eyes brightened and she gestured to the floor, mouthing Potions Room.
Taking a deep breath in and out, I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on the castle's magic.
I need to be in the Potions room, I thought. I need to be in the Potions room.
Out of nowhere, I felt like the floor had disappeared. After a few seconds of free fall, I was lying on the floor with the rest of the Slytherins (the ones that hadn't graduated).
"That was awesome!" Jacob exclaimed standing up. "Can we do that again?!"
Romana and I looked at each other from our places on the floor. After a moment, we started cracking up.
"Hey!" Sarah exclaimed attracting Romana and I's attention. "Don't you have friends to free, teachers to restore magic too and a school to save?"
"Right," I said, hopping up and pulling Romana up with me. Waving my hand at the door, it closed and locked, I was really getting a hand at the whole castle-magic thing. "Time to get to work."
Third Person's POV
With the teachers…and a very bored/annoyed Scorpius Malfoy.
"I told you we should have taken more drastic measures!" Hermione exclaimed from her place shackled to the wall of the tower, glaring at Harry across the room. "But you just had to talk them out of everything I planned, didn't you?"
Harry raised his eyebrows at her incredulously. "Everything you planned?!" He exclaimed. "You have fifteen decrees which is why we're in this mess in the first place!"
This started a large, mostly yelled argument between all the adults on who's right and who's wrong.
"Will you all just shut up?!" Scorpius exclaimed, getting fed up with it all. "Seriously, you're all acting like first years." He leaned his head against the wall and closed his eyes while the adults looked at him in slight shock.
Five silent minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
"Aladdin? Romana?" Scorpius exclaimed as he was the nearest to the door.
"Nope," Rose's voice came through the door. "We got here first, they left the potion in the Potions room."
"So we came to get everyone out." James' voice explained.
"But…we don't have wands and the door was locked by someone's magic. I can't open it." Albus explained.
Professor Longbottom opened his mouth to tell the kids to hide when Scorpius cut him off, "Rose, do you have a bobby pin?"
"Uh…yeah," Rose answered uncertainly.
"OK, put the bobby pin's prongs into the lock." Scorpius instructed.
"Dude-it's magic." James reminded as if Scorpius was an idiot.
"Will you just trust me?" Scorpius groaned.
After just a moment, Rose called back into the room. "OK-it's in the lock."
"Wiggle it around a little bit." Scorpius said.
A few minutes later, Rose called back. "It's not working!"
The sound of running echoed through the wall.
"Rose, what are you doing?" Romana's voice asked with laughter in her voice.
Aladdin groaned, "I have got to teach you how to pick a lock. Allow me." After a few seconds the door swung open.
"Wow, that's gotta be a new record," Scorpius commented.
James looked up from his watch, "Three point five seconds."
"Eh, done better," Aladdin shrugged with a grin. Holding up a vial she glared at Scorpius. "We were a little late because our master brewer had to get himself locked up."
"You brewed it?!" Hermione shrieked worriedly. She had had to grade Aladdin's potions and they were never all that good.
"I figured my Ravenclaw and Slytherin sides had to come out someday," Aladdin shrugged.
"Which is why I brewed it," Romana rolled her eyes stealing the vial.
Aladdin rolled her eyes and walked over to Ron. Going to his right hand, she began to fiddle with the shackle he freaked, "What are you doing?!"
Aladdin furrowed her eyes at him, "Uh…unlocking your shackles so that you can be free…?"
Ron glared, "How do I know that you aren't on their side?"
The teenagers all looked at each other before Aladdin turned back to Ron. "You're kidding, right?"
I'm sorry that it's such a small chapter but I just had to end it here! Things are heating up quickly! Hope you all enjoyed.
