Lucy POV
"Due to classified reasons, the rest of the contest is canceled. Current team in first place wins," the announcer said. I looked over at Natsu who was still holding my hand.
"Wonder why they canceled it," I said looking around.
"Might have been problems with tech or something like that," Natsu replied. He sniffed the air, most likely trying to find our team mates. "This way," he dragged me to a intersection. "They should be here any second," Natsu said letting go of my hand.
"Oi, hey there Natsu, Lucy," Gray said running towards us. Erza followed close behind him.
"Natsu shouldn't we find our team mates," I said looking at him.
"Later, I have a bad feeling moment," Natsu said looking around to make sure no one else was around.
"You okay Natsu, seems like you saw a ghost or something," Gray said when he finally got over to us.
"Yea I'm fine," Natsu said looking over his shoulder.
"Come on, we should probably get out of here and get back to the arena," Erza said running in the direction of the arena. Gray followed Erza, then we followed Gray.
"Natsu tell me what's wrong," I said as we ran.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it," Natsu said. We stayed silent for the rest of the run, when we finally got back to the arena we saw Krell, Ecur, and Lockmere talking to Master Hex.
"Bout time you guys got back, we were starting to worry," Krell said looking over at us. Master gave us a strange look that quickly disappeared when I looked at him directly.
"So who won," I asked looking for the score board.
"Well we were in first last time I checked, but someone might have pulled ahead since then," Master said looking around. We were released without being told the results which seemed very suspicious. Krell, Ecur, and Lockmere hit the bar to celebrate what they hope turns out to be first place. Natsu and I just walked to the hotel and rested.
"Natsu, tell me what's wrong," I said again once we got inside.
"It's nothing, I swear," Natsu said looking at me.
"If it was nothing then why have you been acting weird since this morning," I said starting to get annoyed at him.
"Luce, I swear if something was up I would tell you," Natsu said taking a seat next to me. I stood up and walked towards the door. "Where are you going," Natsu asked with a curious look on his face.
"I just want to go on a walk," I answered opening the door.
"I'll come with you," Natsu said standing up now.
"No, that's fine I want to go on a walk alone," I said closing the door behind me. I walked out of the hotel and down the street. I felt as if something was following me but thought it was just my imagination.
"You shouldn't have left Natsu," a familiar voice said behind me. I recognized it from my nightmares. "Now, it's time for the true fun to begin," the dark voice said. Then everything went dark.
Natsu POV
"Hey Natsu, what are you doing still up," Krell said walking in through the hotel door.
"Waiting for Lucy," I answered looking at the him. Ecur and Lockmere followed him into the hotel room.
"Where did she go," Ecur said looking at me.
"Out for a walk. But that was several hours ago," I said pacing across the room. "Did you guys see her on your way back," I said urgently.
"No, we didn't see her," Lockmere said.
"Shit. I shouldn't have let her out on her own," I said placing my hands on my head.
"Natsu calm down," Krell said touching my shoulder.
"No I won't calm down, I've had a bad feeling all day and now she's gone," I said shaking away from Krell's grip.
"I'll go get Master," Ecur said changing into a shadow. Several minutes later she returned with Master Hex at her side.
"Ecur said Lucy went missing," he said approaching me.
"She went for a walk several hours ago," I answered. "It isn't like her to not be back by now," I said with hints a disparity in my voice.
"Calm down Natsu, are you sure she isn't just sitting at a park or something," Master Hex said grabbing my shoulder.
"No, I… I've had a bad feeling all day, and I feel as if it got her," I said looking into the eyes of Master Hex.
"What got her".
"It".
"What do you mean by it".
"The darkness that's been plaguing us," I said looking towards the now dark city. Master Hex immediately stood up, and looked as panicked as I did.
"All of you come with me," he said leading us out of the hotel room. We walked toward Fairy Tail's hotel.
"Hex, what brings you here," Master Makarov said as we approached the hotel.
"Where's Lisanna," Master Hex said in an urgent voice.
"I haven't seen her since this afternoon," Makarov answered.
"Damn, we need to find her as quickly as possible," Hex said looking at Makarov with a serious look.
"Why, does this have to do with what happened yesterday," Makarov asked looking at me.
"Yes, and what happened to Krell, and what happened with Mira the first time," Hex said, Makarov now became more serious.
"Natsu, where's Lucy," Makarov said in a serious voice.
"I don't know," I answered.
