Chapter 28: Same Spinjiztu, Wrong Name?
Kai's POV
I stood next to the bed where Cindy was laying, my narrow eyes and emotionless face betraying how I felt inside. I don't know what the others had went to do, probably take a nap. I had needed to think, so I stayed here. I looked at Cindy, she wasn't harmed much, besides a bandage around her head where she had hit it in her fall. Her face seemed pale and her mouth was set in a thin line. What do I feel for her? I thought. She's sweet with a temper, sortta smart, and a good fighter. So why do I feel so weird?
I mean, how do even repay someone who saved your life? I think I like her, but why would my heart beat so much and my stomach churn when I see her? Why would I blush? I've been around girls a few times before, but I never felt this way before. I looked out the window to see Lloyd coming in, his hair in a tangle. He walked in. "Sup?" I asked. "Nothing, just ran through a forest to an abandoned park for a concert, chased my friend's sister for a good mile, and got teleported back to Ninjago City. Nothing unusual."
I looked at him. "Who did you say you were chasing?" "Tron's sister, T." "Okay then..." "Anyways, 'sup? You seem a little down." I looked back at Cindy. "Nothing, just thinking..." he shrugged. "Okay, just say if you need anything." he left the room. Cindy stirred slightly, before sitting up, pressing a hand to her forehead.
"Ugh, what happened...?" I walked over towards her. "You unlocked your full potential by protecting me, and fell, hitting your head." she blushed. "O-oh..." "Look, Cindy?" "Yes?" "I-I want to t-thank you for sav-ving me." "It was nothing." "No, it wasn't nothing," I looked her in the eyes. "You saved my life, how can I repay you?" she smiled, and gently kissed me.
I felt my face heat up as she pulled away. "There, now stop worrying about repaying me and let me stand up." I smirked and picked her up. "Nope." she rolled her eyes. "Put me down." "Fine." I let her down, and she stood up. "Now, I'm gonna go to my room. See ya."
She turned on her heel, before running off to her room.
Lloyd's POV
I walked to my room, before spotting that Sensei's door was open. That wasn't what surprised me, though. Inside I saw a familiar pattern on a ninja outfit.
White with green music notes.
I looked around and walked inside, looking at the pattern. "What are you doing here nephew?" I whipped around to find my uncle. I bowed. "Sorry, Sensei. But I believe I know who deserves to wear that outfit. A roommate at the boarding school did Spinjiztu with that pattern."
"Impossible, we are not looking for a music ninja, but a music kunoichi." "Music kunoichi? As in another girl?" he nodded. "There is no way anyone at your boarding school could have done Spinjiztu like that, perhaps he just made it up." confused, I nodded and went to my room. "How could Tron not be the new ninja? Could it be that there's two people who can do the same Spinjiztu?" I sighed and sat on my bed, deciding to ask next time I saw him or T.
Ninjaofmusic: Sorry! Mum's been sick, and the holidays have been stressing me out so I sortta have writers block!
Boba Fett: *snickers* she felt so guilty for not updating this, she wrote a poem thingy about Kai's thoughts on Cindy.
