CARLISLE(POV)

I walked up to my office with Katy behind me. We entered the room and closed the door, then I turned to the strange girl.

"How may I help you Katy?"

She smiled again, but this smile was sly. Like she seemed wrong, but I just couldnt place my finger in what it was about her I didn't like.

"Well as you see I am a nomadic vampire, but I don't want to be alone anymore. I would like to learn your strange hunting ways. Will you teach me?"

"That would be fine, but I would like to know a little more about you before it's a complete yes."

Her grin faded into a low frown.

"What would you like to know about me?"

"Do you have a power?"

"No, none that I know of."

I felt myself automaticly relax, and then I smiled at her.

"We would be more that happy to help you, do you have a mate?"

"Yes I do, he is gone for the moment, but after I get better control in my hunting I will go meet him and teach him also."

"If you dont mind me asking, but where is he"

She frowned again before she spoke.

"I would like to not talk about him if you don't mind."

"Yes, thats fine. I dont mean to be rude."

She looked thoughtfull for a moment.

"Would I stay here with you, or would I stay somewhere else?"

"We have a extra room, you can stay with us if you would like."

"Thank you, if you dont mind I would like to go explore a bit."

"Yes that is fine. It will give us time to get the room ready for you."

She stood up and gave me her thanks again before leaving the room. There was for sure something wrong with this girl.

Katy(POV)

I ran until I was out of range from the Cullens house so that they could not hear me. I quickly pulled out my phone and called my mate's number. It only took about 3 rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey babe."

"Katy! are you in?"

"Yep, that was way too easy."

"Good, now this is what I want you to do."

HEY EVERYONE, DONT KILL ME!!! I MADE THIS SHORT BECAUSE IM NOT EVEN SUPOSE TO BE ON THE COMPUTER. LOL I WILL MAKE ANOTHER CHAPTER TOMARROW WAY LONGER IF I GET AROUND 10 REVIEWS.
