Oh my gosh, guys! Thank you so much for your kind reviews. I know a hedgehog wasn't really an obvious choice, but hey... I like being a little out of the ordinary.

Today I have some requested (guest) fluff for you guys, featuring all of our favorite brothers. I hope you like it!

Aftermath

Raph grunted as he turned on his aching back, flopping one arm loosely over his head. Lazily he opened his eyes just a little, but then decided it was too much effort and he closed them again. Yawning heavily he rolled on his side and grabbed his cell from the nightstand. Flipping it open he looked at the time through squinted eyes and sighed. "This late already?" he mumbled, slamming his phone back on the stand, not bothering to close it. Suppressing another yawn he stretched himself, stopping mid-way when a sharp pain shot up his back and neck. "Damnit," he cursed under his breath, remembering the previous night. Carefully he sat up, making sure his hammock didn't sway too much as he threw his legs over the edge. Sitting for a moment he got up and almost stumbled over his belt and sai that were laying around. "Fer cryin' out l-" Grumbling he got his leg out of his belt and kicked it in a corner, deciding he would pick it up later. For now he just wanted to get downstairs, check up on his brothers, grab some food, and get back to bed. Taking small, painful steps which vibrated through his whole spine, he walked through the door and entered the short hallway, noticing his immediate little brother's bedroom door was open. Curious he peered inside, seeing a slept on bed. With a slight smile he continued walking and he entered the living room. Walking further he suddenly heard soft voices coming from the kitchen.

"You know, there's something weird about this coffee," he heard Don say with a slightly hoarse voice. Entering the kitchen he got greeted with two tired, but genuine smiles.

"Mornin', Raph," Leo greeted him, taking a sip of his steaming hot tea. Raph greeted his brother back with a nod of his head and he plopped down on one of the kitchen chairs, realizing his mistake too late. With a painful grunt he shot up and then sat down carefully.

"Easy, Raph. You don't wanna injure your spine even more," Don said concerned, who wanted to jump up to assist his brother, but stopped when a fierce pain went through his knee.

"Right, yer one tha talk," Raph said grinning, seeing his brother's scrunched-up face. Don glared at him, rubbing his thick bandage-covered knee.

"Guys, chill," Leo said as he put his mug down. He turned to Raph, who was trying to shift in a less painful position, which was pretty difficult on the hard wooden chairs. "Raph, can I get you a bowl or something?"

Raph stopped moving and frowned in surprise. "Yer willin' ta get me a bowl?"

"Off course. Just stay put," Leo said as he got up. "I'm actually surprised you could get up on your own."

"Heh, don't underestimate me," Raph said with a smirk, eying his brother's movements. "Oh, can ya get me a glass too?" He pointed to the cabinet, but the sudden movement resulted in another painful shot and he grunted.

Leo snickered. "Sure, no problem. I guess I'm the only one who is able to move normally," he said as he walked over to the cupboards.

"Define normally," Don cut in smiling, leaning back in his chair. With a clean bowl and a glass in his hand, Leo turned around and looked at his bandaged shoulder. "Fair enough... I guess I'm the only one who's able to walk normally," he corrected himself grinning, putting the things in front of Raph, sliding the cereal and milk towards him, so Raph wouldn't have to reach.

"Thanks, bro," said Raph and contently he poured the right amount of cereal in the bowl. Smiling Leo looked at it before he grabbed Don's empty mug and started to walk back to the counter for a refill for his brother.

"So-," Raph started with his mouth full. Receiving a glare from Leo, he quickly swallowed his breakfast and continued, "- how's tha goofball doin'?"

With a full cup of coffee, Leo turned around. "I checked up on him two times tonight. And so did Sensei." He walked back to the table and put the mug in front of Don, who gave him a short thankful nod. "How was he?" he asked, his brow knitted in worry. Leo shrugged with his good shoulder, a matching look on his face. "He slept through, although restlessly. But it didn't seem like he was in pain or anything."

Don sighed. "That's only because of the sedative I gave him to get him through the night. When he wakes up he probably will be."

"When ya expect 'im ta wake up?" Raph asked, twirling his spoon between his fingers.

"I honestly have no idea. Probably this afternoon or something," was the answer. Not having much more to say the three brothers sat in silence, the only sound coming from Raph who ate his crunchy cereal.

Suddenly their heads jerked up when they heard a door opening. Listening in, they exchanged looks.

"Tha hell," Raph muttered, his hand hovering above the carton of milk for a second bowl. "Ya think that's Mikey?"

Don shook his head doubtfully. "He can't be awake just yet. Right?"

"Than who else izzit, genius?"

Looking at the kitchen door expectantly, Leo stood up. "I'll check." Curious he walked towards the kitchen entrance and peered his head around. "No way," he mumbled as he watched his youngest brother limp slowly through the living room, his arm clutched over a heavily bandaged torso. Quickly he walked towards him. "Mikey, what the heck are you doing out of bed?" he asked worried as he looped one of Mikey's arms around his good shoulder to support him. Mikey looked at him thankfully with a small smile. "I, eh, was bored?" he replied weakly, while putting a little more weight on Leo.

"This is a really bad idea, bro," Leo said, slowly trying to stop Mikey. "Come on, I'll take you back to bed."

"Ah, please, Leo," Mikey whined. "I wanna hang out with you guys like we always do after a night of almost dying."

Despite his brother's situation, Leo couldn't help but snigger. "You make it sound so carefree."

Mikey flashed a smile. "It's my specialty."

Leo shook his head disapprovingly. Then he sighed, giving in to an argument they never really had. "Alright, come on then. But if you're in too much pain or anything, you'll tell us immediately."

"Sir, yes, sir," Mikey chirped happily as he started to walk again towards the kitchen, supported by Leo. Coming in, they received surprised looks from their other brothers.

"Mikey, you shouldn't be up," Don said, half raised on his chair. Raph put out his hand and pushed Don back down roughly. "An' ya shouldn't be standin', Brainiac."

Sitting back down reluctantly, Don ignored his comment. "How are you feeling? Are you in much pain? Did you -"

"Donnie, relax," Leo cut in, helping Mikey to sit on one of the empty chairs. "I think Mikey is capable enough to know whether he can or can't do anything."

With a painful grunt Mikey finally sat down, his expression a bit weary. Giving a thankful look at Leo, he looked at Don and gave a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, Donnie. Just a little sore. Don't worry."

"A little sore? Mikey, are you aware you almost died last night?" Don spat out, more worried than anything else. Mikey frowned and then shrugged. "But I didn't," he replied dryly. "Oh, thanks Leo," he said as his oldest brother put a bowl, spoon and glass in front of him. With a smile Mikey pulled the given bowl closer to him and looked at Raph, who already shoved the cereal and milk towards him. "Thank you," Mikey smiled and happily he started pouring in the contents. Looking at it, Don frowned disapprovingly and shook his head. "Just know I want what's best for you, Mikey."

Mikey beamed up to him. "I know, bro. And I really appreciate it." His eyes darted off. "Can you pass me the sugar?"

Don looked at the sugar pot which was standing next to him, then looked at Mikey again. "You shouldn't eat too much sugar at this moment, Mikey. When you -"

"Don't ya have some coffee ta drink or somethin'," Raph cut in as he snatched the sugar away and passed it to Mikey. Grinning Mikey grabbed it, and poured some in his bowl.

Before Don could respond, Leo sat back down on his seat, putting his mug a little harder on the table than necessary. "Guys, can we please eat in peace? I think last night we'd fought enough," he said, shutting his brothers up pretty quickly. Turning to Mikey, he put two small pills in front of him. "Take these, please."

"Heh, since when are you my drug dealer? Most of the time I get my kicks from Donnie," he said with a grin as he grabbed the two pills and shoved them in his mouth, washing them away with some juice. Ignoring the disapproving, but slightly amused looks of his brothers, he put down his glass and looked at them. "So… What are your plans today?" he said in a raspy voice, trying to start a conversation. Raph snorted. "Jee, I don't know. Maybe huntin' some elephants," he said sarcastically. Receiving a glaring smirk of his brother, he rolled his eyes in exasperation. Chuckling a bit, Donnie leaned back in his chair, his worry somewhat reduced. "I honestly don't think we're capable of doing anything today."

"No, and even if we could, Splinter doesn't want us to do anything. He was worried sick and he told me we all should take it really easy as long as he's on his trip," Leo told them. He sighed. "He was very reluctant to leave, but I send him off anyway."

"Pfft, he worries too damn much," Raph said, playing with his spoon again. Taking his mug, Don shrugged with one shoulder. "After last night he has all the right to be."

"True," Leo agreed. Not having much more to say the brothers kept silent as they continued their breakfast. Not really liking the silence, because it made him really tired, Mikey tried to keep the conversation going. "So…" he started, stifling a large yawn. "Movie marathon it is today?" He looked over his brothers expectantly, yawning again.

"Yeah right! Yer probably not holdin' it out for half a movie, shell-fer-brains," Raph responded, seeing the weary expression on his little brother's face. Mikey scowled. "Not true! As long as we're not watching one of your lame movies again!"

"Ma lame movies. Like yers are betta!"

"Both of your movie styles are tremendous. I'm not going to watch a movie containing monsters, demons, slaughter or otherwise nauseating commodities. If we're going to watch a movie, we'll watch something instructive or -"

"No way, Donnie! I'm not going to watch that documentary of that hotdog company again!"

"Yeah, Don. That was friggin' disgustin'."

"Hmm… True. It wasn't really palatable. But I wasn't aiming on that."

"Thank god!"

"But Monster Movie, The Sunday Slaughter and the dozen movies about that demon village aren't appetizing either."

"Better than Hotdogs: The Making Off."

Leo shook his head affectionately and took another sip of his tea. Listening to his brother's light banter he realised that despite their injuries, last night actually had strengthened their brotherly bond. He smiled, feeling proud of knowing that nothing and nobody would ever change that as long as they were together. He would make sure of it.
