"I hope that none of those Shark things followed us…" Max sounded worried.
"Or those Croc things; they're creepy!" May agreed with them.
"I think that Squid like one was just trying to scare us, May." Dawn sounded surer of herself.
"Halt! Cybertronian sympathisers!" A voice shouted from in front of them.
"What do you mean?" Ash shouted back. A crocodile shaped robot crawled out of the bushes, quickly followed by a shark like one.
"You protected that blue mech when he lost, and prevented Vashik from taking what was rightfully his!" The Allicon screeched.
"Vashik didn't 'rightfully deserve' any of Galvatron's Pokémon!" Misty joined in arguing with the Quintesson Grunts.
"Vashik may not have taken that mech's Pokémon…" The Allicon started to say.
"But Inquirata is going be receiving yours when we win!" The Sharkticon amusedly finished.
"Which of you weaklings is going to challenge us?" The Allicon stared at them smugly.
"I'll challenge you!" May stepped forward confidently.
"I'll help you May!" Dawn stepped forward next to her. The others then moved around to the side.
"Go Poochyena!" A small black dog appeared, growling viciously at them.
"Go Sharpedo!" A Pokémon that looked like a dark blue shark appeared.
"Beautifly, take the stage!" May's pretty butterfly Pokémon appeared.
"Mamoswine, spotlight!" A large mammoth like Pokémon appeared in front of Dawn.
"Sharpedo use Slash!" Sharpedo swam through the air, after Beautifly.
"Beautifly use Silver Wind!" Beautifly flapped her wings and showered Sharpedo with scales. The scales dug into his skin a little bit. Sharpedo shook the rest of the scales off and swam back to his master.
"Poochyena use Sand Attack on Mamoswine!" Poochyena looked nervously at the much bigger Mamoswine, but kicked dust up into Mamoswine's face. After the attack, she ran away from Mamoswine like her tail was on fire; she was scared that Mamoswine would squash her!
"Mamoswine use Ice Shard!" Ice appeared around Mamoswine's tusks, before flying through the air at Poochyena. Poochyena growled in pain from the sharp ice. She was only just able to stand up after that.
"Poochyena use Tackle!" Poochyena ran forward and jumped; slamming her body into Beautifly. Beautifly fluttered a little to recover.
"Beautifly use Gust!" Beautifly flapped her wings, blowing a strong gust of wind at Sharpedo. Sharpedo didn't seem as badly fazed by this wind though.
"Sharpedo use Crunch!" Sharpedo swam forward, eagerly snapping his teeth open and shut. He clamped down on one of Beautifly's wings. She cried out, that hurt!
"Use Ancientpower, Mamoswine!" Ancient rocks appeared next to Mamoswine, before flying across the battlefield into Poochyena. Poochyena collapsed from the damage she'd taken.
"Poochyena return. Go Krookodile!" The Allicon's Poochyena disappeared inside her pokéball, before being replaced by a large red croc with black stripes. Ash looked this up on his Pokédex.
"Krookodile, the Intimidation Pokémon. It can expand the focus of its eyes, enabling it to see objects in the far distance as if it were using binoculars."
"Krookodile use Crunch!" Sharpedo had swum through the air back to his master; but Krookodile now ran and clamped his teeth down on the same wing that Sharpedo had been holding. Beautifly cried out again. This time she fell to the ground with swirls in her eyes, after Krookodile had let go.
"No! Beautifly!" May sounded disappointed.
"Return." Beautifly disappeared inside her pokéball.
"Go Wartortle!" May's turtle appeared, looking eager.
"Wartortle use Aqua Tail!" A fountain of water shot out of Wartortle's tail and slammed into Krookodile. Krookodile shook himself and quickly recovered from the attack.
"Sharpedo use Screech!" A nasty sound shot out of Sharpedo's mouth and Wartortle covered his ears with his front paws. Mamoswine shuddered; both his and Wartortle's defense went down.
"Mamoswine use Take Down!" Mamoswine charged forward and slammed his body into Sharpedo. Sharpedo wobbled a bit before collapsing from the damage he'd taken.
"Sharpedo return." Sharpedo disappeared inside the Sharkticon's pokéball.
"Go Sneasel!" A cat like Pokémon with a feathery tail appeared.
"Sneasel use Faint Attack!" Sneasel appeared to be made out shadows. He charged at Mamoswine. Mamoswine didn't see him quickly enough and got hit.
"Come on Mamoswine!" Mamoswine struggled back to his feet.
"I've got an idea Dawn; tell Mamoswine to use Ice Shard and Wartortle can use Water Gun."
"Oh, like a contest combo. Great idea May!" Dawn then turned back to Mamoswine.
"Mamoswine use Ice Shard and shatter it with your tusks!" Mamoswine did as his master commanded and now shards of ice floated beside his head.
"Wartortle use Water Gun!" The turtle spat a stream of water from his mouth and Mamoswine blew the ice into the Water Gun; producing needle like shards of ice. These shards collided with both Krookodile and Sneasel. Both of them didn't seem too badly hurt by the ice attack.
"Krookodile use Earthquake!" Krookodile stomped his feet on the ground; making it shake. Sneasel fell down first but the quake hit Mamoswine and Wartortle too. Wartortle and Sneasel got up, but Mamoswine didn't.
"Oh, Mamoswine return…" Mamoswine disappeared inside his pokéball. Dawn pulled out another one.
"Go Quilava!" Dawn's fire type Pokémon appeared.
"Quilava use Flame Wheel!" With a cry of Quill! Quilava jumped and swirled his fiery tail and crest around, producing a wheel of fire surrounding him. He rolled forward, towards Sneasel.
"Wartortle use Aqua Tail!" A spray of water shot out of the tip of each of Wartortle's tails; and all of the spurts flew at Krookodile. Krookodile collapsed from the damage; but Sneasel was just able to continue after the Flame Wheel.
"Krookodile return…" The Allicon muttered crossly.
"You'd better win this." He growled at the Sharkticon.
"I intend to. Sneasel use Icy Wind!" A cold wind blew across the arena from somewhere and struck Wartortle and Quilava quite hard. Neither of them appeared too badly hurt though.
"Quilava use Ember!" Embers shot across the arena from Quilava's mouth and singed Sneasel. Sneasel collapsed to the ground with swirls in his eyes.
"Grr… Sneasel return." Sneasel disappeared back inside his pokéball.
"It doesn't matter how many of you Cybertronians and supporters try to stop us!" The Allicon shouted at them.
"The Quintessons will still reclaim Cybertron!" The Sharkticon finished the other grunt's line; before they both ran away, towards Gygax.
"All right!" May and Dawn both cheered, before high fiving. Quilava and Wartortle happily cheered too.
"Now that we have dealt with those Quintessons…" Ash paused while May and Dawn returned their Pokémon to their pokéballs.
"Can we start heading towards Vos?"
"Good idea Ash." Max looked around nervously; he got the feeling they were being watched.
"We'd best start moving; we are very close to Gygax and Bumblebee was right, there were lots of problems around here." Brock told them and the group started to walk the opposite way to the way the Quintesson grunts ran.

A little later on down the track, Max was beginning to get the impression they were being followed. He was trailing a little way behind the rest of the group, and he thought he heard metallic footsteps. He stopped and turned around; but saw nobody there. He did however hear a popping sound. I'm sure someone or something is following us… He thought before turning back around and following the others. Again? A few steps further on, he heard another pop followed by metallic footsteps.
"Hey! Whoever is following me! I won't hurt you!" Max called backwards without looking. He heard another pop and looked around. He still didn't see anyone there; and so walked a bit quicker to catch up with Ash and the others.
"What were you shouting about Max?" Misty asked.
"I thought someone was following us…" All of them turned around, but saw no one there.
"You might be seeing things Max; don't worry, maybe there is a Pokémon hiding in the bushes…" Ash wasn't sure he believed that himself.
"Maybe you're right Ash." Max tried to forget about the suspicion for now. He remembered Cyclonus saying something about flying places. Max stopped and turned around again; but this time carefully looked upwards without tilting his head up. There! He now saw what was following them; a pair of winged Cybertronians, one mostly blue and the other black and purple. Max turned around and continued following the others. The group was getting near to Vos; and Ash was starting to get excited for the next gym.
AN: I wonder who those two winged Cybertronians are. You'll have to wait and see! And Vos is Seeker City, so maybe…
