Chapter 20: Four Years Later
(February 25, 2015 A.T.B.)
Later that afternoon once he returned the Arios to its proper holding inside the resource satellite Frank discreetly made his way back to his brother's ship the Marianne where his faithful first mate of the ship Copper was waiting for him with mail that had just arrived from Transverse Town via Mognet. Frank examined the contents carefully before looking to his first mate.
"Did you see this Copper?"
"No sir…kupo."
"I see…there is going to be a slight change in plans we're going to these coordinates before we head back home."
Two weeks later at a familiar location, it was an uneventful day at Traverse Town as Frank now thirdteen years old was happily walking down the street of the Second District heading to visit his brother after spending half of hisday training at Yen sids to improve upon his magic and spell casting abilities. Accompanying him was Pikachu walking behind him.
Frank was close to reaching the small mansion the former prince had claimed as their home which was across from the Inn more or less.
Once through the front door he hung his hat up on the coat rack and called out to his brother.
"Lelouch I am home!
"Welcome home Frank!"
"Where are you brother?"
"I am in the study."
Frank made his way over and made her way up stairs to the second floor where she entered into a room with two wall-book shelves on the left hand side while on the right side of the room was a collection of items Lelouch had been collecting from some of the worlds he had visited during his adventures along with some photos of the places he had visited. One would almost think they were in the study of some famous explorer who has been to many places around the world.
Seated at a desk was a thirteen year old Lelouch wearing a casual white colored shirt and black pants who was typing on a highly advance computer with only a keyboard and a holographic screen while on his right hand side sat his signature black mask while on the left was the book titled Loveless and a second book with no visible title on it. As Frank approached his brother he turned and noticed the large display case where Terra's armor was being kept having been cleaned and reassembled with a small gold commemorative plaque on the outside with a simple message as a small tribute to the fallen Keyblade Wielder.
To a hero who was consumed by the darkness, but found his way back to the light.
Frank considered what could have happened to the previous owner of this armor while Lelouch looked at his older brother over his shoulder before casting a glance at the armor himself recalling the last thoughts of the armor's will before disappearing entirely.
Would have been Aqua and Ventus proud of me? My hate fades, as my sentiment was fulfilled…thanks Frank and Lelouch, for granting me the peace to leave this shade of an existence once and for all.
And you have my thanks Frank thought in response returning to the present while he had been on the lookout for information related to the final fate of Terra's friends and anything that could explain what had happened to the Keyblade wielder himself that would have left his armor in such a state with no actual wearer, but the armor moving with a will of its own.
He thought he owed Terra that much at least.
"Sorry I didn't see you right away when I got back, but I understand you were at Yen sid's advancing your studies in magic." Lelouch said breaking the silence.
"It's ok I was kinda busy Yen Sid, but he smiles a bit more though."
"Well there was a reason for it, actually a couple reasons which I shall explain." Frank began while he was feeling regretful that he had been away from town so Lelouch could celebrate his birthday with him and nunnally as he was hoping to do, but events that kept him from returning were beyond his control suffice to say.
"I am sorry Lelouch, but one of the reasons I was gone for awhile was because I put some time aside to visited our home world to check on a few things with Jumba's help on a little matter that I needed to take care of."
"Jumba?"
"Oh right I forgot…I asked for Jumba to assist me with a little task I needed some of his talents for."
"You didn't do anything rash did you?" Frank inquired while looking at his older brother with a wary glaze.
"Of course not, but I did ask Jumba to do a few hacking jobs for me…steal some experimental data on a proposed seventh generation Knightmare being researched and developed at a new research and developed organization being formed by our older brother Schneizel." Lelouch said as he typed a few commands on his laptop and brought up a file showing a Knightmare Frame with an unusual design such as possessing a more human like appearance. "This is the Lancelot a proposed prototype seventh generation Knightmare Frame that is being developed…it hasn't been built yet and as you can see from the designs it's not quite finished yet either, but they are testing the ideas for its design using a array of different methods to test the new technologies planned for it such as using stationary robotic limbs and computer generated models to design key design and technological theories. I found a copy of the design specs and technical data when Jumba and I hacked the computer mainframe at the Imperial Colchester Institute. Apparently after Japan was conquered by Britannia they came out with a fifth-generation Knightmare Frame called the RPI-13 Sutherland which is now becoming the Britannia's mainstream Knightmare Frame replacing the RPI-11 Glasgow, but the Sutherland's lack of innovation has caused something of a stagnate period for Knightmare Frames…some think Knightmares have hit their peak while this machine Mileina is working on will change that."
"So you mean that cool thing Mileina wants to make you is going to be Knightmare Frame?" Frank asked.
"That's right and the Lancelot specs along with all of the related research and testing data with the theories revolving around its in-development components Jumba and I found that seems promising will be used for its development. The incorporation of Celestial Being's technology will really be of great help to it. I also acquired the plans for a Knightmare I think you are familiar with." Lelouch said as he typed in a couple more commands displaying another Knightmare Frame where Frank instantly recalled his step mother at one time using that Knightmare to threaten a fellow consort of their father's into submission when they were picking on Frank, Nunnally and Lelouch threatening to take a nice doll their half-sister Cornelia had given her.
"Is that mom's machine?"
"Yes the YF6-X7K/E Ganymede, the Third Generation Knightmare Frame."
"So you got the designs for it too?"
"Indeed, but only I hacked them from the Ashford Family. I doubt there will be much they could use from this, but I wouldn't mind if some elements of mother's machine were added into my future Knightmare frame think of it as a new generation production model of it."
"I think it's nice you are including mother's old machine into the making of your own."
"Thank you Frank."
"But is that why you have been supplying Celestial Being with materials and supplies?"
"That's part of the reason, but we share similar ideals and goals even through our methods will likely differ so I wish to support them in their goals as much as I can without alerting anyone beyond Tieria, Ian, Linda and Mileina of the existences of other worlds."
"That's nice of you brother, but it still doesn't answer why you were on their world for so long?"
"Well after they finished producing their new machines some mock combat testing was needed so Tieria and Ian asked me to help them out by acting as a test pilot for the Gundams, specifically the GN-007 Arios Gundam and GN-006 Cherudim Gundam while Tieria worked with his own machine the GN-008 Seravee Gundam to use the collected combat data and additional operation testing to conduct any additional fine tuning and refinements to the new Gundams before their official deployment and handing out to their pilots."
"But brother you never piloted a Gundam before let alone a Knightmare Frame?"
"Another reason why I was gone for so long Tieria and Ian had to teach me how to pilot them, but of course Tieria taught me a little bit more such as military operations and some weapon handling skills which he believed would be helpful to me when I begin my plans to topple Britannia. Ian thinks I am becoming one heck of a pilot through."
"That's great brother, but wasn't there supposed to be a forth machine…I think I recall Mileina mentioning it in one of her postcards."
"The GN-0000 00 Gundam, their greatest creation yet, but sadly it's the one with the most problems. It's using a highly experimental new Twin Drive system using two GN Drives, but right now they are having problems with it because in order for the whole system to work they need two compatible GN drives to synchronize perfectly with one another in order for it to work. But so far all of the combinations they have tried so far have failed so they are hoping to find their missing comrade and the GN drive he has with him in order to make the 00 functional."
"I hope they will be successful."
"I am not worried Frank I know they will succeed."
"Ok,There was a third reason that came up when Leon forwarded me some troubling intelligence through the Mognet."
"What kind of intelligence?"
"I guess Darknorok has begun stepping up his efforts to collect the Princesses of Heart and because of us he has sought out more formidable allies. Things are changing Lelouch with escalation."
"Escalation?"
"Take for example how police officers deal with criminals. They start carrying semi-automatics, they buy automatics. Then later the police start wearing Kevlar, but before long you have the criminals buying armor-piercing rounds."
"So this is compared to you how?"
"Well we are the first known Keyblade Wielder to rise up against the forces of evil, so as a form of escalation they find their own Keyblade wielder."
"WHAT…you mean they have a Keyblade Wielder?"
"Yes lelouch they do, although I don't know where they found him originally but I encountered him when I went to investigate the place Leon said where Darknorok was meeting with some new allies."
It was a week ago when Frank arrived at an old facility of some kind built into a large asteroid, although it had elements of a mine Lelouch would discover the place had likely been part of a large space colony at one time which has since been destroyed. How it was destroyed Frank did not know, but he knew this place made a good meeting place for Darknorok and whoever she was meeting with. His ship cautiously approached one side of the seemingly abandoned ruins of the space colony and asteroid mining facility.
So far there was no hostile response, which was thanks to the large number of wreckage and debris flying around the asteroid. In fact the Marianne had a very hard time approaching the base because of the wreckage scattered all over the place to avoid colliding into anything considerably large.
He magically teleported directly into a section of the asteroid's interior that scans of the structure detected a livable environment capable of supporting life, which only further supported that someone was using the asteroid's old mines as a base of some kind. As Frank made his way through the mine shafts and tunnels he didn't come across any opposition until he got closer to the main administration facilities near the center of the asteroid. Among the Heartless he saw patrolling the area he saw alien like humanoid creatures who had various cybernetics and armor components grafted onto their own bodies. Another guard he saw was a strange creature who wore white and purple robes with matching pants, large shoes and a yellow conical hat cover their heads.
However their glowing eyes could be seen.
'I guess Leon's information was dead on…this must be something huge for Maleficent to have this much security for a meeting.' Frank thought as he went to work looking for a way to get around.
When the sky tore open and a time pocket ripped through the skies.
Everyone stared in awe at the sight. Frank was glaring when he both saw a Black version of himself appear.
Black looked around curiously as to where he was. "Zamase, so this is where you went." He looked around realizing he wasn't in the future anymore. "What is this place?" He wondered in disgust at all the lush greenery and people still alive in this time line. He then spotted Frank. He wasn't impressed at all by what he saw.
"So you're Son Frank …" Black Frank said as he smirked, staring down at Frank while in mid-air. He looked exactly like Frank except he was skinnier and had darker skin. He also wore a black Gi with a black undershirt and white boots. Along with that, he wore a green and golden Potara earring on his left ear.
Frank stared at Black Frank with a serious look on his face and said, "And you're Black?"
Behind Black, there was a purple portal which had materialized earlier that tore the sky open, thus allowing him to travel to the past from the future. The portal didn't fade away yet. However, the sky had turned back to normal. Black stared at a silver ring on his finger and concluded, "I see… So Zamase used time travel…" as he stared at Frank who was scowling at him.
Frank was surprised after hearing what Black had just said. So were the rest. She wondered who was zamuse and how did he know he used time travel.
Negi wondered, "Who is that guy?"
Zeke widened his eyes in shock and said, "F- Frank?"
Black Goku began to look at the people who were staring at him from the ground. His eyes first met with a certain Saiyan with blue armour. "Negi?" Black thought. His eyes then locked onto Aoi. "The Master Anodite, Aoi-sama?"
Aoi narrowed her eyes at Black Goku in suspicion and said, "It seems like something strange is going on."
"Just who is that guy?" Rage wondered.
Dark Frank yelled, "Bastard! How the hell did you come here?!"
Black Goku cackled in laughter and responded, "Apparently, I came in the same path in space-time that you went through," he smirked and wondered, "Perhaps you called me here… to die by my hands?"
"Damn you!" Dark Frank yelled, scowling. He was about to bolt towards Black when Vegeta intervened, "Stop!"
Trunks stared at him in confusion as he noticed Frank flying towards Black. Dark Frank glanced at Frank and raised an eyebrow in confusion. Frank grinned at Dark Frank and said, "Early bird gets the worm!"
"Hmph!" Dark Frank scoffed. He watched his rival facing his clone in mid-air. Both, Frank and Black were having a stare-down.
Frank smiled and admitted, "You DO look like me!"
Black chuckled and said, "Nice to meet you, Son Frank."
Frank smirked and continued, "I don't know what sort of person you are, but…" he shifted into his battle stance and added, "I heard that you're strong! So take me on!"
Black chuckled. "It's an honour. I've always wanted to fight you in this body."
Frank raised an eyebrow and asked, "Huh? What does that mean?"
Black smirked and answered, "There's no need for you to understand that," suddenly, he opened his palm and charged a dark yellowish Ki blast and fired it straight at Frank without lifting his palm up. The forgotten Saiyan tried to block the Ki blast, however it was strong enough to push him back, sending him crashing towards a rock mountain far away, causing an explosion in the process.
KABOOM!
That kicked up a lot of dust as Black had already reached near the explosion site. He stared at the smoke with a smirk on his face. As soon as the dust cleared, he could see a crater made in the wall of the rock mountain, with Frank in the middle of it.
Frank grinned and flew from the crater towards Black. He chuckled. "That wasn't your full strength, was it?"
"I'm happy. You're evaluating me against you."
"Now it's time to get serious." Frank declared as he quickly powered up his Ki and transformed into a False Super Saiyan. He now had golden spikey hair with fire aura. Black stared at Frank in amusement and thought to himself, "Super Saiyan, huh?"
Frank shifted back to his battle stance and declared, "Now it's my turn!" as he rocketed towards Black. The latter did the same as both clashed with each other and began to exchange blows. Black managed to leg sweep Frank and take him off balance. Black then delivered a punch. However, Frank caught his punch with both legs and used his momentum to chuck him onto the ground by flipping over. As Black was falling onto the ground, he regained his balance and gracefully landed on the ground. However, as soon as he looked up, he saw a barrage of Ki blast heading right towards him from above. Black didn't have time to react, causing the Ki blasts to hit him dead-on.
That kicked up a lot of dust as Frank stared at the crater he created in anticipation. Suddenly, Black Frank powered up his dark Ki causing the smoke to dissipate. He appeared to be unharmed from the attack he had received from his opponent. Black chuckled menacingly and stretched his arm out. "Amazing! So this is the power of Super Saiyan Son Frank!"
Frank smiled and pointed out, "It seems you're just like me. You get excited against a powerful opponent too."
"Yeah…" Black Frank suddenly began to power up some more as Frank noticed, "Oh? His Ki increased!"
Black levitated in the air until he reached Frank's height level. His dark aura was glowing around him. "Strongest fighter of the great warrior race, show me more of your power," as he suddenly charged towards Frank, hoping to catch him off guard However, the forgotten Saiyan managed to block and dodge his opponents' series of punches. Fortunately for Black, he was able to get through Goku's defence by landing a punch onto gut, doubling him over. Black retreated his fist back to his side and landed a kick onto Frank's stomach, sending the Saiyan flying away. Frank managed to stop himself in mid-air, only to see that a series of Ki blasts that were fire by Black were heading right towards him. Frank quickly used his agility to evade the Ki blasts by flying away from. Black continued to fire Ki blasts towards Frank while he dodged all of them successfully. Every time he dodged the Ki blasts, it would hit the ground and cause an explosion.
Meanwhile, Team Fusion Hearts were watching the battle from a distance while Aoi and the others were watching using Crystal ball. Negi noticed, "That Black one's Ki just increased!"
Zeke began to worry and he wondered, "What's wrong with Frank? Why isn't he using he power he used against Xehonort?" as he remembered the time when they fought the heartless leader.
"That's Frank's bad habit of holding back in the beginning of the fight." Dark Frank stated.
"Bad habit?!"
Frank and Black continued to throw a series of punches and kicks at each other, however they would block and parry the attacks. Black managed to land a punch onto Frank's face. Frank quickly delivered a side kick, only for Black to block it with his arm, giving him the opportunity to punch Frank once again in his face.
Frank gritted his teeth and made an attempt to punch Black in his stomach, only for the latter to block with his fist as he used his free hand to punch Goku in the gut.
Frank quickly blocked the attack with his forearm and went for the punch. Both of them did the same and punched each other at the same time.
So far, it was a good fight between Frank and Black. Both fighters maintained their distance from each other as Frank asked, "Why are you measurin' me?"
"I could ask you the same." Black said.
"I'm waitin' to see your full power." Frank replied.
Black chuckled. "There's no need to rush. Let us enjoy this for a little longer."
"So I gotta put some serious work in order to make you fight at your full power?" as Frank shifted back to his battle stance. "Then let's go!"
"Just what I wanted."
Frank charged towards Black and delivered a series of punches and kicks as Black blocked them. But the Saiyan managed to get through his opponent's defence and punched him several times before landing a punch onto his stomach, doubling him over.
With the final punch, Frank tried to end the fight. However, Black managed to grab his opponent's arm as he suddenly powered up, slinging him over his shoulder and throwing him onto a rocky mountain, crashing directly into it.
CRASH!
Suddenly, Black felt a strong pressure pulling him backwards. "What?!" as Frank wasted no time and charged back at Black, kicking him in the chest to send him flying away till near the portal. As soon as he was close to the portal, he quickly stopped himself in his tracks and grabbed his chest. "Damn it!"
He looked at Frank who was no flying towards him. He smiled menacingly and said, "Magnificent! This pain will make me even stronger!"
Frank stared at Black in confusion. "You're kinda creepy…"
Black only chuckled in response as he began to power up once again. Hi Ki had increased even more as he charged a Ki blast in his palm and shot it towards Goku. Frank deflected the Ki blast away, but Black was already in front of him as he side kicked Goku in the face, sending him crashing towards the ground and creating a shockwave from the sheer amount of force.
The shockwave knocked down a certain machine that was standing on the ground. Future Trunks exclaimed, "The Time Machine!"
Black Frank heard that and turned his attention towards Future Trunks. "So that's the time machine, huh?" as he stared at the time machine. The distraction gave Frank an opportunity to punch Black hard in the gut, causing him to cough out saliva.
Black gritted his teeth in anger as both fighters clashed together with their respective punches. It was a test of strength.
Suddenly, Black's silver ring and watch began to glow as something suddenly began to pull him backwards.
"What?!" Black said, shocked. He glanced behind his shoulder and saw the portal pulling him towards it. Frank powered back to his base form and watched the scene unfold. "What's going on?"
Realization dawned on Black's face as he mumbled, "The distortion in space and time is causing the portal to suck me," as the portal pulled him closer and closer into it. "I better destroy the time machine first!" as he pointed his hand at the Time machine.
Suddenly, the portal grew bigger in size as it created a huge shockwave, shocking everyone present in that area. "What the hell's happening?!" Black panicked.
The force of the portal increased dramatically as it pulled not only Black in it, but Dark Frank and Darknorok, who were also nearby. Once they were sucked in, the portal disappeared leaving Frank and the others behind.
Returning to the present Frank showed Lelouch his bandaged arm that had been hidden by the sleeve of the shirt he was wearing.
"After I got away we headed back here, but of course the Moogles treated my injuries after using what magic I could to take care of my more serious injuries." Frank explained.
"How awful, but I am glad to see you are ok."
"Thank you Lelouch, but this changes everything."
"What do you mean?"
"I have been fighting the Heartless and Darknorok by myself with some help from you and the others, but I see now that isn't going to be enough." Frank answered before stopping to take a deep breath. "Not only will I need to get stronger, but I am going to need something else. Clearly Darknorok is gathering stronger and more dangerous allies to his side…now I must do the same."
"So you're going to build your own army."
"Yes…I am going to build an army to challenge them, of people, a nation, an Omniversel." Frank said as his eyes burned with determination.

The war was just beginning.
A/N: well that ends Kingdom Hearts Hero's Journey, but now we're ready for Kingdom Hearts Frank 10 saga, which is now the new sequel for this story with the new story taking place a short time after the end of this chapter.
I want to thank everyone for reviewing and for their support and I have to admit I am impressed with all of the reviews I have seen for this story including the depth of some of them.
Using all of my recent experience and recent revelations with Kingdom Hearts I feel I go above and beyond with what I originally intended through this method and I know a lot more anime I can work with now to really up the danger level. As well…the new story/new sequel will be posted very soon once I complete a couple more chapters.
