Hello! Sorry this is a day late; I've been working a lot this week. I hope you enjoy this chapter! I'm thinking I'm going to write most of the next chapter in Klaus' point of view. Let me know what you guys think! :)

Caroline woke up the next morning feeling well rested. Especially now that everyone knew she was pregnant; everyone, except for Klaus. She sighed with her eyes still closed, knowing the next time he called, she would have to tell him. Would he believe her? Would he get mad at her? She thought to herself and absentmindedly placed her hand on her abdomen. Her eyes shot open; her abdomen was swollen.

She jumped out of her guest bed and ran over to the mirror in the corner of the room. Caroline turned to the side, lifting up her shirt, and saw a bump forming already. She looked as if she was four months pregnant. Oh my God, what is this? Is this from the healing magic? This can't be happening this fast. What if the baby was born before she came back to New Orleans?

Caroline hurriedly put on a cardigan and went downstairs to find Stefan to ask his opinion on what was happening to her. She walked into the large, Salvatore kitchen and found Enzo sitting by himself, staring into his cup of coffee. He looked up at her and then at her stomach.

"Well, that's freaky," he commented nonchalantly.

"You're telling me." Caroline said and sat down at the table. She wondered if he was still angry with her; he wasn't storming out of the room, that's a start.

"How long exactly have you been pregnant?" He asked.

"Days, but it looks like months and I don't know why."

"Maybe you have a whole litter of puppies in there." He said bitterly.

"Enzo…you can't hate me forever." Caroline pleaded.

"I don't hate you," he said looking at her with sadness in his eyes. "You know I don't hate you, gorgeous. I-I accepted that you were with the hybrid," he grabbed her hand. "But no one is good enough for you." Caroline had tears in her eyes as she listened to him. "Hey now, don't cry. You're having a miracle in there; be happy." Caroline smiled at him as Stefan walked into the room.

"Uh, good morning," Stefan said seeing Enzo's hand on Caroline's. Caroline immediately pulled her hand away and stood up, revealing her swollen stomach. "What happened?" Stefan asked surprised.

"I think it's my Lumen Dea magic." Caroline explained. "Where is everyone else?"

"Elena said she would be over in a few minutes, she found out something about Tyler." Stefan explained. "Do you want some blood? Or do you eat food now? I don't know what to feed pregnant vampires." Caroline laughed.

"I think I want both. I'm kind of craving my grandmother's pancakes again, but Lilah has the recipe."

"So do I." Stefan said smugly and Caroline raised an eyebrow.

"She gave it to me the night you told us about the baby." When did Stefan have time to talk to Lilah alone? Caroline thought suspiciously.

Stefan and Enzo began decoding Lilah's recipe when Damon and Elena walked in, giving Caroline's stomach the same glances everyone else did. She sighed, annoyed she has to keep explaining her predicament and she desperately wanted to know what Elena found.

Everyone sat down at the table when Stefan placed a stack of pancakes in front of them.

"So, Jeremy and I noticed that Liv and Luke went on vacation recently. Well, they said it was vacation but, in Liv's dorm we found a map of New Orleans. We think that they are the ones helping Tyler." Elena said while taking a bite of pancake.

"But why are they doing this to Caroline? I mean, I know her and Liv don't get along…and she kind of killed Luke…okay I see their problem." Stefan said and Caroline slapped him in the arm.

"So they would just willingly help Tyler try to kidnap a child?" Caroline asked.

"No, but they'd be willing to hurt you and Klaus." Elena said as-a-matter-of-factly. Caroline was hurt; she thought last night got them past all of that animosity. "I'm sorry Care; it's just going to take some time. He did kill my aunt." Caroline sighed and shoveled some pancakes into her mouth and picked up her blood bag.

Hope shuffled into the room and spotted the pile of pancakes.

"Are you hungry?" Stefan asked lifting her into a chair. She nodded excitedly as the food was placed in front of her. Hope looked at Caroline.

"I gonna meet my brother soon," She said suddenly and everyone in the room froze.

"W-what?" Caroline asked. Who could've told her?

"My brother is gonna be born soon." She said.

"How do you know that?" Caroline asked.

"He told me in my dream." Caroline looked at everyone in the room and they looked just as confused as she did.

"What did he tell you?"

"He can't wait to meet me and you are his mama." Hope said calmly eating a bite of pancake. Caroline didn't know what to say; she knew Hope had visions like the other witches, but didn't expect her to find out this way.

"Is it okay that I'm going to be his mama?" Caroline asked.

"Mhm." Hope said happily.

"Would you like to see the house I grew up in?" Caroline asked Hope. She thought it would be a good idea to get out of the house for a while.

"Caroline, we should really talk about Luke and Liv." Elena whispered.

"Later." Caroline said sternly. Hope hopped off her chair and grabbed Caroline's hand.

"We go now." She said and Caroline happily obliged.

Mystic Falls was eerily quiet today as they slowly walked to Caroline's old house. The streets that used to be filled with joggers, bikers, people going to work, were now totally empty. Caroline held Hope's hand tighter as they reached her front door.

She looked under her mailbox for the spare key her mother used to keep taped there. It was still there and she carefully unlocked the door.

"Hello?" she called out hoping no one would answer. After a few seconds of silence, she decided it was safe enough to go inside and Hope's eyes wandered. Hope pointed to the pictures on the mantel so Caroline lifted her up to see.

"That's my mama and my daddy," Caroline said looking at her parents' wedding photo. They looked so happy and now they were both gone.

"Who this?" Hope asked pointing at a picture of a little girl.

"That's me when I was little." Hope just laughed and squirmed out of Caroline's arms. Caroline's cell phone started to ring and her heart stopped; she didn't recognize the number.

"Hello?" She asked hesitantly.

"Caroline, it's Hayley," Caroline sighed with relief.

"Hey! Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I was wondering if I could talk to Hope."

"Oh yeah, sure, she's right here." Caroline put her hand over the receiver. "Hey Hope, your mama's on the phone." Her eyes lit up as she grabbed the phone.

"Mama?! I miss you!" She said as she ran off with her phone. Caroline wandered around her old house that was now collecting dust. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted an old photo album and picked it up. She sat down on her old couch and started flipping through the pages. There were pictures of her grandmother when she was young, and then of her mother's fifth birthday party. Caroline recognized someone in the background—it was Lilah. Did she really know about my family for that long? She thought and flipped towards the end where Caroline was born. There was another picture of Lilah. Caroline's mother always told her she was one of her aunt's that she never met and there she was in this picture holding Caroline as a baby.

Caroline decided she would take this album with her. That way her son could see what his grandparents and great grandparents looked like. It made her sad that her mother's entire life fit into this book. She was so much more than that. Hope ran back into the room as Caroline wiped a tear away.

"Mama wants to talk again." Hope said handing the phone to Caroline.

"Hello?"

"Hey Care, I wanted to thank you for…taking care of my baby. It means a lot to me."Caroline could hear the sadness in her voice.

"It's no trouble, she's wonderful."

"Yeah…now could you explain to me how she's going to have a brother?" Caroline panicked. Hope must've told her mother about her vision.

"Uh, I was going to tell everyone about tha—"

"IT'S TRUE?!"

"Yeah…I'm pregnant." She heard Hayley sigh loudly.

"I shouldn't be surprised, these things aren't impossible. I know that from experience. How are you doing? Does anyone else know?"

"I'm doing fine. Everyone knows except for Rebekah and Klaus…I found out about it right before the Compound was attacked."

"So that's why Elijah was acting so weird." Hayley laughed. "Well, if you have any questions about what it's like to be pregnant with the wolf king's baby, you know who to ask." Caroline laughed.

"Thanks Hayley."

"Tell Hope I love her, I'll make sure I call again soon."

"I will. Goodbye Hayley."

"Bye Care."

Hope suddenly grabbed Caroline's hand and led her upstairs. She dragged her into Caroline's old room. This was weird for Caroline; staring at her old things made all of her high school memories come flooding back. Then she remembered when Tyler bit her and Klaus saved her life for the first time. Hope took something off of Caroline's bookshelf and brought it over to her. It was shredded pieces of paper.

"What this?" Hope asked. Caroline examined the pieces of paper and knew what it was.

"It's a picture that your father drew for me a long time ago." She said looking at each individual piece. When she shredded the picture that night with Elena, she immediately regretted it and went back after the party was over to find the pieces.

"Why you cut it?"

"I was angry with him, but I shouldn't have ruined it."

Caroline put the pieces of the picture and placed them in the photo album. She began to walk Hope back to the mansion and noticed the streets were still empty. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a crow land on a mailbox to her left. It's just a bird. Caroline thought and began to pick up their walking pace. As they approached the Salvatore house, Caroline saw moment in the tree in the front yard. It was filled with crows. Caroline gasped and ran Hope inside. Damon and Stefan stared at Caroline.

"Lock all the doors and windows." She commanded.

"Why?" Damon asked.

"We're being watched." Stefan and Damon got to work locking all the windows. They decided to leave the curtains open, they didn't want Ester knowing they were on to her. Caroline didn't know if she could call anyone in New Orleans. Would it be too dangerous for them to answer? Caroline dialed Lilah's number and listened to it ring.

"Yes…" Lilah whispered into the phone.

"Is now a bad time?" Caroline asked.

"Not at all, Dolores, let me go and get that recipe for you." Lilah said into the phone. Caroline assumed that someone unsavory was in the room with her. She heard a door close.

"This place is crawling with spies, Caroline. What's wrong?"

"This place is also crawling with spies."

"What's happened?" Lilah asked seriously.

"There are crows everywhere. Mystic Falls is totally empty except for the crows."

"Shit. She's been doing this right under our noses. Niklaus probably knew what she was up to…he should be up here soon."

"How do you know?"

"Dolores is a dear friend of mine that's been dead for three-hundred years. I wouldn't be talking to a ghost on the phone. Genevieve was in the room; I had to lie. How's the baby?"

"About that, it looks like I'm four month pregnant."

"Excuse me?" Lilah went silent for a second. "Do you think it's the healing magic? It's building the tissue quickly."

"That was my theory also."

"Niklaus is here," She said and Caroline heard Lilah give him the phone.

"Caroline, what's wrong?" He asked concerned.

"There are dozens of crows outside and absolutely no people in Mystic Falls." He sighed.

"I had a feeling my mother was up to something. Don't be too troubled love; I'll watch her for now. If it gets worse though, you will have to come back." He sounded strangely optimistic.

"That's not all I wanted to talk to you about…" Caroline said taking a deep breath.

"What else is wrong?"

"Not so much wrong, as it is untimely."

"I'm listening." He said seriously.

"I'm pregnant." The other line was totally silent.

"I am in no mood for jokes, Caroline." He said angrily.

"I'm not joking; I am pregnant with your child." Caroline said sternly.

"This cannot be…" He said in disbelief. "How long have you known?"

"I found out the night we left."

"And you didn't tell me?" He was definitely angry. Caroline knew this was going to happen.

"You were busy. I didn't want to burden you with something else."

"Caroline…" He said frustrated.

"Do you want to know what it is?" She tried to get his mind off his anger.

"You know already? How?"

"Lilah told me."

"What is it?" He asked genuinely curious.

"It's a boy." He was silent again.

"You're having my son…" he said with a glint of happiness in his voice. "Who else knows about this?"

"…" Caroline hesitated.

"Caroline," he said sternly. "Who else?"

"Everyone except for Rebekah…" She knew this was going to make him even angrier.

"Elijah knew before me? Enzo knew before I did?" He asked furiously.

"I'm sorry; I needed to tell them so they knew why I was sick." He was silent again and Caroline didn't know what to say.

"We aren't finished discussing this. I will call back later. I need to go and find my dear brother." He said and hung up the phone leaving Caroline to stare at the receiver.
