Thirteen year olds, in general, started to notice the opposite sex at that gentle age. Not necessarily the opposite sex, but more than anything, the type of person they were beginning to be interested in. For Ciel, this came in a quite unfortunate form of having a crush on the woman that lived across the way from his household. Of course the thirteen-year-old boy knew he would be marrying Elizabeth in the end, but he couldn't help but thing the woman there was the most beautiful thing he had ever laid his eyes on. She was clearly older, having a gait that meant business, and he was entranced.

Throughout the days that the young Phantomhive was supposed to be working he found himself entranced by her still, constantly glancing outside the window when he thought she might be coming or going. This girl, whom he now knew was named Diana, kept him always behind in work and therefore behind schedule, but the boy simply couldn't help it. Even Sebastian started to notice that the young boy he had been taking care of for almost four years now wasn't so young anymore. Quite frankly, with the addition of the small amounts of body hair he actually had, Ciel was losing the last remains of the boyish charm he had.

Elizabeth was put on the back burner once again, almost completely ignored unless she dragged Ciel out of the house. But it didn't take the quite smart girl long to realize why he was set on sitting in his office and not moving from that spot. While a little discouraged by this girl that was taking away her Ciel; the petite blonde had a plan that would make everything fine. She made her way over to the pretty lady's house, knocking on the door and glancing at Ciel's window before disappearing inside. When reappearing Elizabeth didn't look quite so young anymore. The pretty lady across the way had dressed her up, given her a good pair of heels instead of the small ones she always wore to keep near Ciel's height, and taught her how to walk with, as she had termed it, 'purpose'.

That is, walking with enough attitude to show that she was simply unable to deal with the pesky flirtations of little boys. A certain 'little boy' wasn't at all amused that his fiancée appeared outside of that house like that, though she certainly was…well, pretty. The pretty lady across the way made her way back into the manor, wandering up the stairs until she knocked on the door to Ciel's office. Furrowing his brows, the bluenette closed the blinds to the room before standing up and opening his own door, having to look up at the girl standing in front of him. "Can I be your pretty lady across the way, Ciel?" Elizabeth questioned, smiling happily at her little beau.

As a thirteen-year-old boy, testosterone running wild, it was easy to decide who exactly you were interested in. And for some, it was as simple as noticing the pretty lady across the way, whether she stayed across the way or not. For the pretty little ladies that were either over the age or finally hitting it, the pack of boys that suddenly were interested simply gave them reasons to wear their nice heals. After all, someone had to become the pretty lady across the way.
