Chapter 21

Klaus's POV

I couldn't believe it after 17 long years, I finally get to meet my daughter. She was defiantly a perfect mixture of Hayley and me. She had Hayley's eye color and eyebrows, but the lip structure and the hair color were all from me. She slowly started to walk, but couldn't walk more than a few feet before she lost her balance. Luckily the Gilbert boy caught her and helped her lay down on the ground where she lost conscious.

Elijah's POV

This was the moment that my family has been waiting for, for so long. I hate to admit it, but I believe I am more excited than Niklaus is at the moment. This girl was everything my family fought to protect, and now the moment that I thought was never going to happen, has happened. We were finally reunited with the hope of our family.

Rebekah's POV

After 17 years of being trapped in this stupid cave, I finally have a reason to smile again. My niece had turned out to be a beautiful young women who took after her mother in every way, though I can tell she possesses the Mikaelson spirit. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes just looking at her. Maybe this family wasn't damned after all.

Normal POV

Jeremy carefully layed Amelia down on the ground. He examined her and saw no injuries done to her, but he could tell by her face how exhausted she was.

"What's wrong with her" Jordan asked kneeing down next to Amelia.

"Evan must of reversed the transformation, right now she's very weak" Jeremy said.

"Where's Evan at, he did not follow Amelia back here" Jen asked confused.

"Let's be grateful he hasn't come back yet, maybe now we can figure a way out of here" Ethan said.

"Liam stop you need to rest" Sharon said.

Everyone turned around and saw Liam standing, which took more of his remaining strength away.

"H-Haven't it occurred to anyone here, how Amelia was able to get pass the barrier Evan set up" Liam asked trying to fight off the pain.

"He probably put up a barrier to keep us in, but to let him through" Jordan said.

Liam barely shook his head and said "No, he would not make that too easy, after all he is the reason that no one, but him has been able to open the caves. So why should it be no different with the barrier."

"If that's the case, than how was Amelia able to get through it" Jen asked looking back at the unconscious girl.

Amelia's POV

I don't really remember much after confronting Evan, except that I was exhausted after the whole thing and than nothing. When I did finally opened my eyes I was shocked to see the ceiling of a house. I got up in confusion to see that I appeared to be in a mansion. How on earth did I get here, did Jeremy bring me here. Suddenly I heard a women screaming from upstairs, and something told me I needed to go up there and see.

As I made it to the top, I realized that all the lights were off in every room except one, which where the screaming was coming from. I quickly went to the door and slowly turned the knob. When I opened the door there was a lady with her back towards the door screaming, while she had her hands on her stomach. I was shocked to see the same crescent birth mark that was on my shoulder, on hers as well. What on earth could this possibly mean. Suddenly a women with long blonde hair appeared in the room with wash clothes.

"Hayley you need to lay on your back" she said helping her move onto her back. I was stunned when I got a look at her face, she was the same women from my previous dream where she sent a baby down a ravine. It was not only that stunned me, it was her eyes as well because they were the exact same shade as mine was. Suddenly a man with unkept hair entered the room.

"Rebekah how much longer" he asked.

"It should not be too much longer, tell Niklaus if he wants to enter he may" Rebekah said while she wiped the sweat off of Hayley.

"It's almost over Hayley, soon your daughter will be here" Rebekah said smiling at Hayley.

"Yea, I can't wait thought I can't help, but worry about her future especially with Marcel still on the loose" she said as she kept taking in deep breaths.

"Don't worry with three originals here to protect you Marcel does not stand a chance."

Did she just say Originals.

"Oh god" I whispered realizing that Evan was right all along. The dream I had of Hayley putting a baby in a basket and sending it down the ravine, and what my grandparents said about my parents finding me washed up on the beach, it was me.

"Well it's about bloody time, I swear I almost desiccated from boredom" a British voice said entering the room.

When I turned to look at the man, I knew this had to be him my biological father. His hair was a light brown like mine except his had curls, and the lip structure was so similar to mine. I could not help but be overwhelmed with so much emotion. I mean I still have so many questions unanswered, but I finally know who my real parents are.

"It's time, I can see her head" Rebekah said after checking Hayley's cervix.

Both Elijah and Klaus held onto Hayley's hands.

"You ready for this love" Klaus asked.

"No, but I don't have much of a choice now do I" Hayley said.

"Push Hayley" Rebekah commanded.

As Hayley started to push, a huge gust of wind came through the room, but they did not seem to notice. Suddenly I was knocked off my feet.

"What the" I said as I felt the wind trying to drag me away. I clawed at the ground, but it was no use, I felt myself flying away from the scene.

Normal POV

"NOOOOOOO" Amelia screamed shooting straight up from the ground. Everyone quickly ran to Amelia to see what was wrong. Amelia breathed in and out trying to catch her breathe.

"Amelia are you alright" Jordan asked worriedly as he kneed down in front of her.

Amelia looked up and was surprised to see that she was inside the caves and that she many other people she did not recognize. Amelia than started to get up, however she lost her footing, but luckily Jordan caught her.

"You better take it easy Amelia you're still not at full strength yet" Jordan said.

Amelia ignored Jordan, because right before she fell she saw them. The woman with the long blond hair whose name Amelia believed was Rebekah, the man with the unkept hair whose name she remembered as Elijah, and than there was Niklaus her biological father.

Jeremy noticed Amelia looking at the Originals and much to his displease he realized Evan must of told her of her heritage. However Jeremy wasn't the only one to notice, both Stefan and Elena are watching both Amelia and Klaus with curious eyes. Damon himself was also curious to see how this would turn out. Klaus himself felt emotional because he was not sure if his daughter would accept him or not because he was almost certain that the Gilbert boy would tell her about all the sins he committed to him and his friends. Amelia quickly got out of Jordan's arms and started to walk over to where Klaus and his siblings were. Amelia knew she needed to know whole truth now, because for all she knew this meeting with her father could very well be the last one.

Amelia's POV

I stopped when I was at least a few feet away from him, and just stood there. I have never been so nervous in my entire life, not even when I sang in front of an entire audience back in middle school. I could tell by the expression on his face, that he was nervous just as I was. How on earth are you suppose to start off a conversation with the father you're just meeting after 17 years.

"S-So is it true" I said trying to make eye contact.

I took a deep breathe and this time look him in the eyes "Are you my real father."

By the look on his face he was also struggling to find the right words.

He eventually sighed and looked down and said "Yes, it is true. I am your father and you are my daughter."

The moment the words came out of his mouth, I felt a course of emotions running through me ranging from happiness to pure shock. I was ecstatic that I finally got to meet my biological father, but still I am not sure If I could ever see him as my father having growing up with a loving and caring adoptive father.

"Judging by the reaction on your face you're not too thrilled with the news" he said sounding very sad, but not too surprised.

"No that's not it at all, It's just a lot of information to be taking in. After all I spent 17 years of my life calling someone else dad when they really weren't my father to begin with" I said looking at him.

He smiled softly, but it wasn't much of a happy smile.

"Believe me I know that feeling very well indeed" He said.

"What do you mean" I asked confused.

"I share a different father than the rest of my siblings" he said pointing to Rebekah and Elijah.

I see so that means that Rebekah and Elijah are my aunt and uncle. I couldn't help, but smile at that because I always imagine what it would be like if I had an aunt to share my secrets with and a cool uncle who lets me get away with stuff.

"When my mother and father migrated to the new world in search for a better life, she ended up having an affair with the local werewolf chief that resulted in me. When my youngest brother Henrick died by the hands of the werewolves, our mother turned my siblings and I into the first vampires in order to protect us from them. However when I made my first human kill I activated the werewolf gene, which exposed my mother's affair to my father, and he ended up going on a rampage. The main reason why he hunted me down for centuries, was because in his eyes I was bastard child and not of his blood unlike my brothers and sister. To him I was an abomination, that was of two species vampire and werewolf." he explained.

"That's horrible just because you weren't his true blood he wanted you dead, doing that to someone who has raised you and loved as his own" I said completely shocked over what he was saying.

"Truth be told I always suspected he knew of the affair way before hand, because I always happen to be the target of his rage instead of the others" he said.

I don't know what time period he grew up in, by the way he spoke it did not sound pleasant at all.

"Why do you still refer to him as your father, if he has tried to kill you" I asked curiously.

"Because he is the only father I have ever known, granted not a very good one, but still the only one that's been in my life" he explained.

"So I am just like you a hybrid" I asked.

"More or less, but unlike me you are a pure hybrid. You were born with the traits of both species, out of everyone in this room you are the most powerful being alive.

This was truly a coincidence, I mean who would have thought that Klaus and I shared somewhat of similar background. Though his explanation of his past, just got me more curious of my own, especially now that I gotten more information on what I am.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did I end up being separated from you and my mother" I asked.

His face suddenly turned into anger and said "We were at war with a fellow vampire named Marcel, shortly after your birth Marcel assembled an army of vampires to try and kidnap you. Elijah, Rebekah, and I created the diversion while Hayley escaped with you. However when we went searching the woods for the two of you, all that was found was Hayley's dead body, and you were nowhere to be found."

"What do mean Hayley's dead body" I asked surprised at this revelation, I just always assumed she escaped from Evan's grasp.

"She was killed, and I'm pretty sure you can guess who the culprit is" Klaus said.

"Evan" I said with anger starting to drip from my voice.

"Yes, and he shortly ambushed us after wards, and we've been trapped here ever since" Klaus said in a boring tone.

I could not believe it, Evan is the reason why I was separated from my biological family and now I learn he killed my mother.

"Amelia" Klaus called out breaking me out my thoughts. I looked up at him and was surprised to see a genuine smile on his face.

"I don't know if we will make it out of here or not, but I just want to let you know that I am a very selfish being and I have killed many innocent lives during my thousand years, but I do love you and I am glad to finally meet you."

I truly could not help, but smile at his words.

"I admit all this is still hard to comprehend especially being part werewolf, but I really am glad I finally get you to meet you too."

Klaus was about to say something, but the moment was ruined by someone screaming. I turned around and was shocked to see Liam on the ground screaming and holding his arm in pain.

"Liam" I called out worried as I went over to him.

"It's getting worse Jeremy" Jen said taking his arm. My eyes widened at the huge bite mark that looked infected covering his arm.

"What the hell happened to him" I asked scared.

"He was bitten by a werewolf" Jeremy said reluctantly.

I don't know why he hesitated, until I remembered that I had transformed recently into a werewolf.

"No no please no" I begged as I turned his head towards mine.

"Don't die Liam, I'm sorry I didn't know" I said crying.

I looked at Jeremy and said "There's has to be a way to save him right."

Jeremy looked at me with pity in his eyes and said "I'm sorry Amelia, but the only person who can heal him is Klaus and he is trap behind the wall."

Oh my god Liam was going to die and it's all my fault.

"There's someone else that can save him" a voice called out.

Along with everyone else I looked up and was confused to see a African American woman around my age just appearing out of nowhere.

"Bonnie" Jeremy said confused.

Author's Note

Well there's chapter 21 and I hoped everyone liked it. Now the reason this chapter took so long was because I wanted to make sure this chapter was perfect for you guys. I wanted to give you guys a emotional reunion between Klaus and Amelia. The only reason Elijah and Rebekah did not say much was because they wanted to let those two have their moment. I hope I did this chapter justice for everyone, I wanted to do more of Klaus's POV, but I didn't in fear of making him too OCC than he already was. I'm proud to say this story has 2-3 chapters left, so thank you everyone for your motivation.
